Finally managed to write all this out and process all the thoughts

SO!

An au idea is the DSMP is in the Dead By Daylight universe. Quick summery of DbD is there are killers and survivors and one killer hunts down 4 survivors in each match. And all killers and survivors are in a purgatory dimension controlled by something called the Entity. So even when survivors are caught and killed they wake up alive for the next match and the cycle repeats again and again.

For the AU ideas! I think the Gods could be killers since most killers are not human like but there could be a mix. Now it could just be the standard au and it would be angst comfort tickles. Like between rounds survivors comforting each other with tickles or (since some of the killers in DbD are forced to kill) the killers giving apology tickles after the matches.

OR! It’s like DbD except instead of killing it’s tickling. So the lers/killers chase down the lees/survivors and tickle them silly till they tap out and ends either if the lees escape or the ler gets all the lees to tap out. And maybe if the lees all escape then they’re allowed to tickle the ler as a reward.

my first thought is to think about how each of the sibling gods would be as hunters 🤔 i’m assuming that they don’t have god powers for this? i vaguely remembering you suggesting this? so they’re only left with their ability to manually chase and track down dream team

this is awfully fun coz it means the gods would have to actually collect items and do human things. it’s funny imagining 4K trying to fit through crevices to find iron, and also just them attempting to work together in general. coz they’d all have different techniques for catching right?

i feel like DreamXD would be the type to just see any of the dream team and just sprint at them. like absolutely charge at them, no tact or anything. it takes him a while to realise just how loud his footsteps are, as well as the benefits for sneaking up on mortals. i can imagine the chase/hunt would bring out a terrifying side of XD, like as though a switch flips in his brain, giving him an intense hunger for tickles 😅

GeorgeHD would be far more subtle in his approaches, and much more teasy and gentle with his tickles. he’s so sneaky, and also very quiet yet quick. my immediate thought is that one scene of scar from lion king hehe

like he just watches a chase go down and positions himself into the path of the scampering dream team. only issue is that he gets tired and bored so easily. he requires lots of persuading to continue playing as the hunter,, which is what 4K is good for:

Sapnap4K has infinite optimism, as well as an adoration for trickery. he’d be the type of hunter that the dream team would be able to reason with, such as trading off each others hiding spots to escape a tickly attack from him. i can also imagine him tickling the other gods to keep the enthusiasm up. XD’s resilience would be quick to fall without his powers, and HD is bound to lose interest at some point

manhunt aus are so much fun 🥺 i could rant for ever coz like, the other cool part is that the dream team would also have to be working together. but as you can imagine they’d all have different plans in mind. i can easily imagine dream continuously moving too fast and making rash decisions that sap and gogs can’t keep up with

It's been a year lmao! Like it's been a FUCKING year but I'll not get too much into that we don't have enough hours for that hahahahfuckmylife BUT what I do want to talk about is how after this fucked up year Tumblr, or more importantly YOU guys helped me make it a little more bearable!!! I know I've been a sucky reader disappearing for weeks on end and giving some people scares that I died!
