The market is something that brings Wilbur something like joy. He’s a fairly joyful guy already, but there’s an energy to the market that keeps a grin on his face and pep in his step. He likes to talk to the townspeople, about the crop yield, about the local gossip. Word on the street, there’s a thief making their way along the stalls. People are missing jewels, hard-earned money, Peter Earl wasn’t even able to make his rent last week! Wilbur was sympathetic but mostly interested until he heard about the reward for the thief captured. 50 emeralds and 20 diamonds. Not bad at all for an economy like this town has. 

The only issue is that Schlatt left Wilbur to his own devices after a particularly vicious back and forth about some stupid game of poker they were both cheating at. Wilbur won, anyway. Until they were both caught in the midst of their fight and kicked out, because Schlatt just couldn’t fucking stand if Wilbur was the one to earn their keep for the night. Forget that three months ago, Wilbur pushed Schlatt in a lake for being the one to sweet-talk the blacksmith for a few more enchants, even managing to score an enchanted gapple. That wasn’t given, that was stolen, from a chest Wilbur was fucking going for, thank you. But Wilbur at least stuck by Schlatt’s fucking side during that ordeal. Schlatt got so butthurt he abandoned Wilbur at the bar they were sporting very obviously fake ID’s to be let into, and Wilbur got so mad he left the server altogether. 

They’ll find each other eventually. They always manage to, without a single apology but still falling in-step with each other without a second thought. Maybe Wilbur will visit Niki in the meantime. She hates when he brings Schlatt. And without a partner, Wilbur really doesn’t see how he’ll manage to catch a thief. He’s cunning, not strong, and Schlatt’s not exactly a powerhouse either but people at least think he is. Schlatt is very good with the illusion of power, like Wilbur is very good with the illusion of control.

all endermen are able to impregnate/get pregnant, since as a species they don’t really have any sexual dimorphism, meaning they’re all capable of filling any parental role needed. So they all have both functioning sets of reproductive organs! They all have breasts for this reason too, since if they can all get pregnant they’d all need a way to give their young milk! Endermen literally have NO concept of gender or gender roles all ways of deciding like “ok whos the one whos gonna get pregnant” is dependant on who wants to do what! Pretty neat!
