🍈my 1st question is- how do u get different textures in ur digital art? (I might have asked this already sordy ahhh I have bad memory) like in ur Usual Content, there usually isn’t any spots with *just* color but it looks like u overlay patterns on it? I esp lov the way ur hair looks in ur comic series! (Which I adore ahh so cute n funny!!!!) for the way u render hair in ur comic specifically- it looks it was done traditionally :0 is it digital with like a specific brush u use? Or- (1/??)

Hello pal! I will try to answer the best I can!

First, how I get textures in my art: I have a couple of brushes I've made that are just lines and other patterns I moved over from sai (i've been using procreate recently!)

I create a multiply layer above the drawing and then adjust opacity until it looks nice!

Next up, about the pen i use for my comics! I use georgevw's procreate comic liner brushes! You can get them here, I encourage you to check out the rest of his stuff to he has a lot of great brushes n resources! The specific brush I use is The stratchmore!

Next up, colours! In my experience, having an eye for colours just takes experience and practice, and sometimes a certain knack for it. I do not have that knack and although I have been drawing a long time, I still struggle with colours! mostly do to having a minor colour blindness, but that's a-ok!

I tend to gravitate towards bright more eyes training colours just because I can see those best and feel more confident in using them! even then I worry though about things looking 'cohesive' and i rely a lot on overlay and multiply layers!

my advice: shlap whatever and all colours u want on there and then slap on some multiply and overlay layers, adjust opacity until your shoes are lookin cool

PICCOLA POSTA - (Steno, 1955)

This little, but amusing movie is a funny, light comedy centered on some "Lady Eva", a pretended Polish countess, actually the all-Roman signorina Cangiullo (Franca Valeri), who gives her answers to the many women questioning her for advice on her letters page of a famous women magazine: some would follow her suggestions to the letter, some (Alberto Sordi) would use them to cheat an old millionaire lady....  (I stop here).The movie was clearly inspired by the success of similar journalistic sections and I must say if the social satire intent is very soft, the characterization of Valeri is absolutely enjoyable (and, in the scene in which she is transformed in Audrey Hepburn's "Sabrina", irresistible): she and Sordi bear the whole movie. Quite entertaining, quite amusing movie about a side of a vanished time.

hello! I'm a human (17, turning 18 soon. transmasc) with a troll matesprit (8 sweeps. cis fem) who has a troll moirail (also 8 sweeps. cis masc). recently, my matesprit suggested that she thinks i might be pale for another troll i know (just under 8 sweeps. like. a few days under. transmasc) and I'm cool with that! i just don't know what that means exactly. i believe myself to be fully heterosexual, but my aroace human sibling is in an auspistice type relationship with another troll and some innocent guy they managed to rope in because the troll already had a kismesis. what should i do? i mean. i am already kind of like a weird therapist for my alleged moirail, but I'm not sure about the romance descriptor.

So uh^^. This isn't really a ro^^antic relationship but I'^^ sure it counts.

So, I (Violet, 13) a^^ currently trapped on a spaceship with a 'friend' (Jade, 11.08) of ^^ine, who funnily enough is actually a hologra^^ that I created! But anyways, we had a rocky start due to ^^e killing her ^^atespirit and all her friends at her wedding, who were also all hologra^^s that I created, but thats besides the point. So right now we're trying to go back in time to undo all of the stuff i've done because she ^^isses her wife, so it's just ^^e, her, the spaceship and her dead step-hatch^^ate (Rust, 10.15) who I did not kill but whos death I still feel guilty for.

Anyways, Like I said I feel awful for all the things I've done. We're working together now but I know shes still weary of ^^e and I just want to know how I can fix things? Even if at all? I just want to ^^ake up for all the bad stuff i've done.

for context,,, (im going to call them A,,,B,,,C,,,D,,, and E) :::

A (8, rust) lives in the hive next to me,,, and we often threaten eachother across our lawnrings or while walking to work...

B (9, gold) is my (former) moirail... it ended messily and we still get into fistfights sometimes when we see eachother in public...

C (10, olive) is someone i met on trollian... he keeps doxxing me privately and sending bomb threats to my hive...

D (9, bronze) is someone i went to college with... she lived one floor above me and used to drop her chair at odd hours of the night... we recently regained contact and she keeps trying to deck me in public...
