Chapters: 1/1 Fandom: 盗墓笔记重启 | The Lost Tomb Reboot (TV), 盗墓笔记 - 南派三叔 | The Grave Robbers' Chronicles - Xu Lei Rating: Teen And Up Audiences Warnings: No Archive Warnings Apply Relationships: Wang Pangzi/Wu Xie Characters: Wu Xie, Wang Pangzi, and a Xiaoge cameo in a flashback :) Additional Tags: Character Study, Recovery, Love, Caretaking, Nightmares, Panic Attacks, Crying, Late Night Conversations, Domestic, Emotional Hurt/Comfort, Angst with a Happy Ending, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder - PTSD, Suicidal Thoughts, Mental Health Issues, Terminal Illnesses, (or are they?), Podfic, Podfic Length: 30-45 Minutes Summary:
Loving Pangzi is as easy as breathing. That is the comparison Wu Xie used to make, before his lungs started rotting away, before Thunder City and his miraculous recovery. Wu Xie’s lungs may be cured now, but other things take more time. In the aftermath of his illness, in the aftermath of almost dying, with fear and guilt like a constant weight pressing down on Wu Xie’s chest, comparing his love for Pangzi to breathing of all things doesn’t quite seem to work anymore. Not like it used to.
Perhaps Wu Xie has it all wrong though. Perhaps the comparison was never about the ease, but about the effort. Recovery is much the same in that respect. Luckily neither of them have to do it alone.

Lung Exerciser
Discover the transformative power of a lung exerciser, a versatile device designed to optimize respiratory function and enhance lung health. Whether you're recovering from a respiratory illness, striving to boost athletic performance, or simply aiming to maintain optimal lung function, lung exerciser can be a valuable tool on your wellness journey.
Lung Exerciser - Spirometer
A lung exerciser, also known as a respiratory exerciser or inspiratory muscle trainer, is a handheld device specifically designed to strengthen the muscles involved in breathing and improve lung capacity. It typically consists of a cylindrical chamber with one or more airflow resistance settings and a mouthpiece for easy inhalation.
Benefits of Using a Lung Exerciser:
Improved Respiratory Function: Regular use of a lung exerciser can strengthen respiratory muscles, increase lung capacity, and enhance overall lung function.
Enhanced Endurance: Athletes and fitness enthusiasts can benefit from improved respiratory efficiency, leading to better endurance and performance during workouts and physical activities.
Faster Recovery: For individuals recovering from respiratory illnesses or surgeries, a lung exerciser can aid in clearing airways, reducing the risk of complications, and speeding up the recovery process.
Maintenance of Lung Health: Even for those with no underlying respiratory issues, using a lung exerciser can help maintain optimal lung health and prevent age-related decline in lung function.
When selecting a lung exerciser, consider factors such as resistance levels, portability, ease of use, and durability. Look for devices with adjustable resistance settings to accommodate your fitness level and progression over time. Additionally, opt for a compact and travel-friendly design if you plan to use the exerciser on the go.

To experience the full benefits of a lung exerciser, incorporate regular breathing exercises into your daily routine. Start with a comfortable resistance level and gradually increase intensity as your lung exerciserespiratory strength improves. Aim for several sessions per day, focusing on deep, controlled inhalations and exhalations to maximize results.
Investing in a lung exerciser is a proactive step towards improving your respiratory health and overall well-being. Whether you're looking to recover from an illness, enhance athletic performance, or simply maintain optimal lung function, this versatile device offers a safe, effective, and convenient solution. Unlock your respiratory potential with a lung exerciser and breathe easier today.
How Does Lung Exerciser Work?
Using a lung exerciser involves inhaling deeply through the mouthpiece, against the resistance provided by the device. This resistance can be adjusted to suit individual needs and fitness levels. By engaging the muscles involved in breathing, such as the diaphragm and intercostal muscles, the exerciser promotes deeper, more controlled breathing patterns, improving lung function over time. GST Corporation Limited (GSTC), India is a leading Manufacturer and Exporters of Surgical & Medical devicesrehabilitation Aids & instruments.
Before delving further into the benefits of a lung exerciser, it's essential to understand the lung exercise machine mechanics of lung function. The lungs play a crucial role in the respiratory system, responsible for the exchange of oxygen and carbon dioxide between the air and the bloodstream. When you inhale, air enters the lungs through the trachea and bronchial tubes, eventually reaching millions of tiny air sacs called alveoli. Here, oxygen is absorbed into the bloodstream, while carbon dioxide is expelled during exhalation.
Respiratory Exerciser 3 Ball
Several factors, including smoking, pollution, sedentary lifestyle, and respiratory infections, can compromise lung health and function. Common respiratory issues such as asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), bronchitis, and pneumonia can significantly impact an individual's quality of life and overall well-being. Additionally, aging and certain medical conditions can contribute to a decline in lung function over time.
Numerous studies have demonstrated the effectiveness of lung exercisers in improving respiratory function and enhancing lung health. Research published in medical journals has shown that using a lung exerciser can lead to significant improvements in lung capacity, respiratory muscle strength, and exercise tolerance. These findings support the use of lung exercisers as a safe and effective adjunct therapy for various respiratory conditions and wellness goals.
Lung Exercises at Home
In addition to using a lung exerciser, incorporating specific breathing techniques can further enhance its benefits. Techniques such as diaphragmatic breathing, pursed lip breathing, and slow-paced breathing can help spirometer maximize oxygen uptake, reduce respiratory rate, and promote relaxation. Combining these techniques with regular use of a lung exerciser can amplify the positive effects on respiratory function and overall well-being.
A lung exerciser is a valuable tool for improving respiratory health, enhancing lung function, and promoting overall well-being. Whether you're an athlete striving for peak performance, a former smoker looking to regain lung function, or someone managing a respiratory condition, incorporating a lung exerciser into your daily routine can yield significant benefits.
By strengthening respiratory muscles, clearing airways, and optimizing breathing patterns, a lung exerciser empowers individuals to take control of their respiratory health and live life to the fullest.

Spirometer: What Is It and Who Needs One?
An incentive spirometer is a handheld medical device used to measure breath volume. Spirometers are typically utilized at hospitals after prolonged illnesses or surgical procedures resulting in long bed rest periods.
Using a spirometer to breathe slowly enables your lungs to inflate fully. Deep breaths help break up and clear fluid in the lungs that could cause pneumonia.
What Is a Spirometer?
An incentive spirometer is a handheld medical device used to measure breath volume. The device determines the amount of air you breathe in and out. It also measures the exact time it takes to exhale the air after taking a deep breath.
Who Might Benefit from an Incentive Spirometer?
Here are some of the common conditions that may require the use of a spirometer:
After surgery: An incentive spirometer helps keep lungs active during bed rest to lower the risks of developing conditions such as pneumonia, bronchospasms, and respiratory failure,
Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD): COPD is a respiratory disorder commonly caused by smoking. Using a spirometer could help manage symptoms of COPD.
Pneumonia: An incentive spirometer can help people with pneumonia to break up mucus buildups that accumulate in the lungs
Other conditions: A doctor may also prescribe an incentive spirometer for people with asthma, sickle cell anemia, or atelectasis.
How to Use an Incentive Spirometer
Before using an incentive spirometer, it is vital that you understand the specific instructions on using the medical device. The following are the general usage protocols:
Sit upright on the edge of your bed or chair
Hold the spirometer in a vertical position, and breathe out normally
Put the mouthpiece of the device in your mouth and seal your lips around it
Breathe in through your mouth slowly and deeply. Ensure the piston or ball rise to the top of the chamber
The next step is to hold your breath for about 3 to 5 seconds or longer if you can
Use the goal indicator to guide your breathing. Slow your breathing down whenever the indicator goes beyond the marked areas
Remove the mouthpiece and breath out normally to allow the piston or ball to return to its original position
Take a brief rest before repeating the steps ten or more times
After completing each set of 10 deep breaths, cough to clear your lungs of any mucus build-up. You should also clear your lungs throughout the rest of the day.

I used to have a pretty hardcore medical fetish, but then I spent 2 months in the hospital and that shit dried up faster than a raisin in the sun. It's almost comical how the same shit I'd get heated over disgusts me at the very least. I still have some very mild med-fet inclinations, but now I'd sooner throw myself into a trench than I would a gurney.
