Abe post! I've drawn this guy a few different times but I feel like I didn't quite get that 'Jamie Bell' kind of essence... I think I did alright. I could do better, I'll just have to draw him a bit more. He reminds me of Courage the Cowardly Dog when I draw or write him

I re-downloaded DaVinci Resolve for this. I missed her dearly and I'm glad she's home getting the frames of horse plinko copied, cropped, transferred, organized, was a wristache and a nightmare and I would do it again

More work on line heaviness ft. woodhulls, which I think I did better at this time. I'm afraid to tweak the pen settings because I think I'll forget how to change them back, it took a little while to get to a satisfying setting. But sometime the pen is too sensitive, resulting in sometimes messy lines. I've been learning to be more relaxed with linework though, to not obsess over perfect curves or straights. Shading in b/w is getting easier, too.

Abraham always took me as being like a little nervous dog - A huge pain that you let sit in your lap because you feel some little pity for it, then it bites you for no reason. the pity continues anyway because he's small in a big world. i like to think that Abraham in real life was a little less of a pathetic wet sock, but Turn!Abe has his moments. few between, but sometimes they're worth the multitude of times he's disappointing, betraying, and overall making stupid decisions you know he kind of reminds me of a more loathsome white Shinji Ikari but with even worse timing in his character development this isn't to mean i hate him, just about every character in this show has some pretty unsympathetic moments, he just has more than usual for a protagonist

18th century sapphic, 20th century dyke. overpowering oppressive systems i felt kind of sad that in the show, Anna never got a very cool moment like Sarah Connor's 'you're terminated, fucker!' and so many scenes in T2! i could talk all day about how she was nerfed and sidelined. i might bitch about it in another post later, maybe. female characters in that show kind of get the short end of the stick

regardless, she's one of my favorite characters also there's just a very lot of cis/hetero content in the Turn fandom and I wanted to bring some lesbians into the ecosystem
