Thoughts on 3rd life mirror birds. 3rd life big dogs. 3rd life property police. They fascinate me and I think you have thoughts on them but I might be wrong..either way
i do in fact have thoughts on them but i think if i talk about 3l!flower husbands publicly any more rn I’ll get so self conscious I’ll explode on the spot. this being said i have still yet to watch evo but its been on my list for forever bc of 3l!property police specifically… i really love martyns petty grudge against jimmy for those first two episodes he acts like he’s 12 and really pissed off on the playground. anyways i think that martyn going from being concerned for his friend to Just Fucking Lying to split up Scott and Jimmy, because he took personal offense to Jimmy being unwilling to drop everything to go live with him on the spot is the funniest thing in the world. Girl it’s not about you
#asks#for real though i think that martyn played up his offense at jimmy not taking the offer in order to pressure him into agreeing bc—#stuff like “oooh this is your ONE CHANCE for FUN OPPORTUNITY and if you miss it WE’RE NOT FRIENDS ANYMORE!!” typically works on jimmy#but martyn wasnt expecting jimmy to stand his ground on that#And at that point (in martyns mind at least) you Have to commit. so then the mock offense became Real. bc what can you do#he cant just go back on it and go like “sorry i was just worried and wanted you to live with me bc i miss you and—#dont think scott is treating you well” martyn would never be that honest with himself much less jimmy#The offer in itself was somewhat selfish to begin with in my mind as well#He did just want Jimmy to come live with him so he saw the opportunity and jumped at it. he’s an opportunist#but i also think he originally followed jimmy and brought it up with him out of concern. does that make sense#a little while after their falling out i think he fully puts jimmy out of his mind#“Jimmys a lost cause he’s clearly done with me. Why should i care when he clearly has a nice loving husband he cares sooo much about#(eyeroll emoji) lets save grian” <- what i think he was thinking#he didnt mean for jimmy to die#but what happens happens yknow. the games the game#sorry for putting all of my Real Thoughts in the tags i wasnt expecting to write them out honestly#i just think about their conversation on that mountain a lot….bigb moves into that specific spot later and martyn gives him shit about it#Which means something to me also (<- bigb and martyn pilled individual)#etc.etc

for the writer ask game
💥✨👻
Just got off work and am answering these now! Thanks for the ask. I'm probably gonna ramble a little so I'm putting this under a read more.
💥What is one canon thing that you wish you could change?
I was thinking about this question all day while at work and I certainly thought of a lot of things. I'll stick to just stuff about MTMTE and LL though, and things about my faves specifically.
First thing! This is purely self indulgent, I don't think Trepan's character was handled badly or anything, considering he is more an explanation of various plot-points rather than a character. But I would give him more screen time. Not saying his death had to be changed, though some information as to who actually killed him would have been fun, since Overlord only vaguely says that Megatron had him killed. But I think there are ways he could have been squeezed in more, for example, I think he would have been thriving in the Functionist universe. I would have liked to see him there, even if only for a page.
And speaking of the Functionist universe, I think it is also a shame that we never saw the Damus from that universe again. He was there for a second, in the crowd listening to the newly stranded Megatron, but then he is never seen again. It just feels like such a waste. It could have been part of Megatron's "second chance" to treat this Damus better, to help him grow into a better person this time. It could have been a way to show that Damus was capable of being a normal and well adjusted person, if only he hadn't been twisted by Megatron. Plus, having him show up at the end, a perfectly normal guy, would have made for a good laugh, with the Lost Light crew staring at him with apprehension since they know who their version of him became, all while Megatron tries to reassure them that he is totally chill this time.
These are both mostly minor gripes, and I'm obviously just biased and starved for more content of my faves, but not having Trepan and Damus show up more just feels like missed opportunities. I could go on, but this had gotten kinda long already 😅
✨️ Out of the comments you’ve received on your fics, what are two or three of your favorites?
Oooh this is a hard one, I have received a lot of really nice comments on my fics, and I appreciate every single one I get. Icy your comment on Silver Hollow Sliver definitely comes to mind first though! After such a large effort on that fic it felt incredibly nice to receive your comment! c: Definitely made all the work feel worth it.
Users Nariin and Malcoholic have both left a lot of really nice comments too, and a recent-ish comment by S-Lotus on my Tarnma sparkling fic really made my day as well <3
👻 What is your wildest headcanon?
Another hard one. I can't think of any headcanons I have that I would consider too "out there" or bizarre. I guess first thing that comes to mind (only because someone criticized me for this one time :p) is that despite how awful and abhorrent Tarn is, I think he would make a decent parent. It is just very easy for me to see that obsessive nature of his being twisted towards protectiveness of his kin. Of course, he wouldn't be without flaws, and his temper is always going to be an issue, but I think he would love a sparkling if he had one.
Thanks again for the questions! c:

I put together a transcript of the 1 hour Q&A Interview the Carmen Sandiego Discord did with Abby Trott (Ivy) and Rafael Petardi (Chase Devineaux). All of the questions were submitted by server members. You can read everything below the break!
PizzaHorse:
Hello everyone! Please welcome Abby Trott and Rafael Petardi to our Q&A today.
Abby Trott:
Hiiiiiiiiiii!
Rafael Petardi:
Hello Bonjour!
PizzaHorse:
Let's get started. How did you get started as a voice actor? Was there anything that inspired you to pursue it as a career?
Abby Trott:
Oh MAN. Long story.
Rafael Petardi:
Mine is very short. I'm an actor and my agent started sending me on voice auditions and eventually I booked some!
Abby Trott:
This is a novel so I started typing it ahead of time, haha. I was an acting/theater major, and when I graduated from college I moved to Japan on the JET program to teach English because I wanted to travel so freakin' badly. I had never even been on an airplane. I was placed in rural Akita, (inaka), and absolutely LOVED it. The only problem was I wanted to be and actor/singer… womp womp. At that time, I also started to mess around with characters and voices - I would record voice memos and conversations with myself while driving around. One day, a friend was in the car and my phone was on shuffle and one of my "scenes" started playing - I was absolutely MORTIFIED. But that moment solidified for me that I need to move to the big ole city if I wanted to really pursue acting. I ended up heading to Tokyo, where I performed in children's musicals, and did other gigs here and there. That's where I started doing VO professionally! I was able to do some character voices for the shows I was in, and some other side projects. I realized how much I loved VO, and eventually decided to move back to the States to pursue it, since most English VO for games and animation is produced here.
When I moved back, I started searching online for VoiceOver opportunities, and stumbled across a contest hosted by Bang Zoom! Entertainment. I BARELY got my entry in on time. The contest took place over several months, and in the meantime, I moved to NYC and started taking VO classes. For the finale of the contest, they flew me to LA. I ended up winning! Still can't believe it. (O-O) I got to dub my first anime "Miss Monochrome," and realized that if I wanted to work in games and animation, I should probably move to LA… and the I DID.
THE END
PizzaHorse:
What do you think are the best and worst things about being a voice actor?
Abby Trott:
Oooh. The worst things? Job insecurity... constant rejection...
Rafael Petardi:
The incredibly talented and cool people you meet and work with.
What Abby said
Abby Trott:
The best things? Working with amazing people, AND it's so much fun - even auditioning is fun!
PizzaHorse:
How did you land your role on the show?
Rafael Petardi:
I auditioned
Got the job
pretty boring I know
Abby Trott:
I auditioned through my agency, and got a callback. I went to the callback and their note was "more Boston." Then I had a second callback and their note was "even MORE Boston." So I went WICKED BOSTON and got the job
PizzaHorse:
What was your favorite/the most fun thing to record (episode/scene/line)? Any least favorites?
Rafael Petardi:
For me, the funnest scenes to record are the ones I got to play opposte the incredibly talented cast.
The least favorite... did not have enough scenes with the Wonderful Abby Trott
Abby Trott:
Awww Rafe! Singing was the MOST FUN! The Karaoke Ep, and the choose-your-own adventure one, where we got to sing the theme! Mikey (Zack) was cracking me up constantly.
Least favorite was the last ep because I didn't want it to eeeeeend
PizzaHorse:
Were you allowed to suggest lines to be said by your character, or improvise the script at all if you thought something would add to the scene?
Abby Trott:
YUP! And Mikey and I definitely did, hahaa. It was encouraged. Always fun to see what they keep...
Rafael Petardi:
Yes we were. I improvised mostly sounds and noises. Words once in a while but not very often. Thank God for Duane
PizzaHorse:
What was the hardest part of voicing your character on Carmen Sandiego? Was there a particular episode that was difficult to record?
Rafael Petardi:
Keeping the consistency episode to episode of the Chase's accent, pitch and energy
I did not want hime to sound different ever
Abby Trott:
I think the hardest part was keeping up the EXTREME Boston accent. But it was also SUPER fun...
PizzaHorse:
What traits do you share or have in common with the character you play?
Rafael Petardi:
I am like Chase in the sense of a Dog with a Bone. If I get pasionate about something, I go to extremes. Abby Trott has scene this for example in my bread making endeavors
Also, I'm an idiot in life too sometimes
Abby Trott:
Ivy and I are both... from Mass! we both have brothers who we argue with but really do love when it comes down to it. We love chocolate, aaaaand... I think we're both brave. (brag?)
Can confirm Rafe is v. passionate about bread. And and idiot.
Rafael Petardi:
All True
PizzaHorse:
What character on the show would you voice if you had the chance?
Abby Trott:
Chase
Rafael Petardi:
I would love Maelstrom
Abby Trott:
Jk... Coach Brunt seems SUPER fun
PizzaHorse:
If you could meet a character from Carmen Sandiego in real life, who would it be and why?
Abby Trott:
Carmen! she is the coooooleeest. I'd ask her to teach me some tricks
Rafael Petardi:
Julie Argent. She's cute
PizzaHorse:
Which character do you think you are most like or that you most identify with?
Rafael Petardi:
CHASE
I think that's partly why we're doing the roles we do
Abby Trott:
I think Ivy, for real! Casting was ON IT. I can be serious when I need to be, but I'm a giant goofball (if you couldn't tell from my latest tweet/insta post...)
PizzaHorse:
Who is your favorite character, other than your own?
Abby Trott:
Mime. Bomb.
Rafael Petardi:
Other than my own? Hmmm... uuuh... mmmm. tough...
Abby Trott:
Seriously, I think Mime bomb is hilarious.
Rafael Petardi:
Yes Mime Bomb!
PizzaHorse:
Do you wish your character had more interactions with another character in particular?
Rafael Petardi:
Yes, I would love to interact with Ivy and Maelstrom
I think the interaction would be odd and awkward and funny
Abby Trott:
Yes. I would love to see how Ivy handles the specific VILE members... I would love to see IVY try to go to VILE academy...
PizzaHorse:
Are there any themes or lessons from the series that you would want people to remember?
Rafael Petardi:
yes, don't jump to conclusions and be an idiot
Abby Trott:
Yes! That! also, don't be evil. ALSO also, be loyal to your friends.
PizzaHorse:
Do you ever look at fan content?
Rafael Petardi:
yes all the time. It helps when I'm tagged rafaelPetardi on Instagram
Abby Trott:
Yes! I look at fanart sometimes, and see what cosplays are happenin'
Rafael Petardi:
I've posted many as well
Abby Trott:
Haven't read much fanfic... but I know it's out there.
PizzaHorse:
What did you think about your character's development and arc throughout the series?
Rafael Petardi:
I absolutely loooooooved Chase's arc
Love redemption stuff
he was just misguided
just was alway his thing
Abby Trott:
I love Ivy's journey - she really grew up, from a troubled kid to an adult, accepting responsibility and accepting new challenges. Donning the hat, if you will.
Rafael Petardi:
*justice as always his thing
PizzaHorse:
How do you feel now that Carmen Sandiego is at its end?
Rafael Petardi:
sad. miss evrybody so much
we will have to have a cast reunion when this pandemic thing is over
Abby Trott:
SAD! But grateful. It was THE MOST fun to record, and I wish it could continue forever.
Rafael Petardi:
I'm grateful too. yes
Abby Trott:
and YES reunion!
PizzaHorse:
Yesss can't wait for that group photo to pop up on social media!
Were there any moments in the series that had you legitimately emotional?
Rafael Petardi:
yes ofcourse
losing Julia was tough
Abby Trott:
A lot. But one that stands out for me is after Carmen gets stuck out in the snow, and is reunited with her crew. (:_;). Also the stuff with Shadowsan and his brother... and anything with baby Carmen...
Gah. So many...
PizzaHorse:
Did you enjoy how the show ended? Is there anything you would have changed or would have liked to see more of?
Rafael Petardi:
I loved the way the show ended! I think Duane did a fantastic job tying loose ends and bring the story to a satisfactory close for all characters
I do hope for an ACME Ivy, Zak, Julia and Chase spin-off
Abby Trott:
I love how it ends. I think it wrapped so well considering the number of eps - the writers really got it done. I WISH Ivy and Zack could follow Carmen forever, but she has her own story to unravel it would seem.
And Ivy does look good in that suit let me tell ya
PizzaHorse:
Can you share a favorite behind the scenes moment?
Abby Trott:
Mikey. Is. So. Funny. Hard to choose one moment - he would make me laugh harder than anything. Especially when we were singing. Or any time he had to gag...
Rafael Petardi:
OMG!
That singing stuff we had to do together was hilarious
we could not stop laughinh
PizzaHorse:
What, in your opinion, are the best pizza toppings?
Abby Trott:
Cheese. Caramelized onions. Roasted garlic. Spinach. Mushrooms.
Rafael Petardi:
buffala mozzarella and tomatos period
oooooo fancy Abby
Abby Trott:
Rafe why aren't you as obsessed with pizza as you are with bread? And can you be?
Rafael Petardi:
I am
Abby Trott:
!
Rafael Petardi:
I just don;t like to share pizza
PizzaHorse:
Here's a specific question for Rafael. Did you sometimes get mad at your own character for the way he behaved towards Julia earlier on in the Series?
And one for Abby. As a Massachusetts native, how did you feel about voicing a character from Boston with the iconic accent?
Rafael Petardi:
I did not. I always felt, however misguided Chase was, he was always on the path of turth and justice no matter what was in his way. It's the same principals that led hin to see the truth about Julia
*principles
Abby Trott:
I think it's so cool, and kind of an honor, in a way. I was worried about it being too much, and people saying it's over the top. Turns out comedy wins, haha.
PizzaHorse:
Were you familiar with the older animated series when you started work on the Netflix original?
Rafael Petardi:
I never heard of Carmen Sandiego before I did this series
Abby Trott:
Yes! I had seen a bit. I also remember watching my brother play the game. Someone gifted me a mini arcade version of the game this year, and I'm excited to play
Rafael Petardi:
Which I think helped when I had to say the iconic line
"Where in th world..." there was no pressure
LoL
Abby Trott:
LOL
PizzaHorse:
Okay, last question. Do you have a favorite quote from the show?
Abby Trott:
"La Femme Rouge!"
or Mime Bomb's classic "..."
Rafael Petardi:
"the game is over!"
PizzaHorse:
Woohoo!
Abby Trott:
Hooray!
PizzaHorse:
Thank you so much Rafael Petardi and Abby Trott for joining us today! I hope everybody had a wicked awesome time.
Abby Trott:
Thanks for having us! What a pleasure.
Rafael Petardi:
It was great! Thank you to all the great questions.
Abby Trott:
Thanks for watching the show! Great questions. I'm sure I'm going to think of more quotes as soon as I log off... haha.
Rafael Petardi:
See you all soon!
Abby Trott:
Stay safe, take care, and see you all on various social media platforms!

In Due Time Chapter 21: Fireworks
Marinette and Adrien get ready for Alya’s New Year’s Party
@marichatmay
Enjoy!
First Chapter | Previous Chapter | Next Chapter
Read on Ao3
“Hey, listen up, everybody!” Plagg yelled as he entered the room in front of Adrien. “The kid is going to a party! And no,” the kwami quickly added as a few others tried to ask questions all at once, “it’s not one that rotten ol’ Gabe is making him go to!”
Adrien entered the living room to cheers and applause from all the kwamis under his care. The only thing stopping him from rolling his eyes were his own nerves. Soon, many of them were zooming and swirling around him as he walked through the room, checking and double checking his attire.
“What’s the matter, bucko?” Stompp said, a frown gracing her face. “I’d thought you’d be chompin’ at the bit to go wild outside your papa’s watch.”
“I am, but…” Adrien rubbed the back of his neck. “The only one I’ve actually hung out with in person has been Marinette. And most of the time, that wasn’t Adrien exactly.”
“Kid, it’s just a mask. I don’t see what the big deal is. Plus,” Plagg said with a teasing grin, “I know you’re looking forward to seeing Tikki’s kid today. Hm…?”
Adrien gently pushed Plagg aside when he leaned close into his face, but Adrien refused to meet his eye. The cat kwami snickered as he floated away. Adrien might like Marinette, but he had no idea if she felt the same way or if he could even afford the luxury of having a girlfriend right now. Necessity had forced romance out of his life a long time ago.
“Besides Marinette,” Adrien said, trying to get back on topic, “I don’t know anyone there. I’m meeting all these people for the first time!” He put a comb through his hair for the third time that night. “What if I just end up lurking next to the food table and being a downer to the rest of them?”
“I’m confused,” Mullo said, scrunching up their nose. “Haven’t you been talking with them using the aether for a while?”
“The device he usssesss is called the internet, Mullo,” Sass corrected gently. “Not the aether.”
“Still. Does the Guardian not already know these other humans?”
“I mean… yes, I suppose,” Adrien conceded. “But-”
“Not buts, kid,” Plagg said definitively. “You’re going to go out there and have a great time instead of slacking here with these guys. Do you understand me?”
“Oooh, the time for another year has already come?” Orikko clucked happily, dancing in midair. “I’m so happy to hear I haven’t missed it!”
“Don’t worry, Orikko, I set an alarm to let you know when midnight hits,” Adrien said as he scratched beside the rooster kwami’s beak.
“Speaking of not worrying, that same thing but to you, kid.” Plagg was tugging at his sleeve. “C’mon, let’s go. Sass has got it handled here.”
Adrien glanced at the snake kwami, who nodded. “Pleassse enjoy yourssself, Massster.”
“Trust yourself!” Mullo said, floating up to Adrien’s face height. “I am sure they will love you just as much as we do!”
“See?” Plagg motioned a paw toward Mullo. “Now come on, I don’t want you to sit here until you give yourself cold feet. And I’m not about to let you pass up the opportunity to hang out with people born in the same geological era as you!”
“You’re right.” Adrien took a deep breath and let himself get a little excited. “Come on, Plagg, let’s go.”
“‘Course I’m right,” Plagg muttered as he flew into Adrien’s coat pocket. “When am I ever not right?”
The sun had already set by the time Adrien had gotten into his car, but there was still plenty of time before the main event of the night. It was a long drive to the part of Paris where Alya lived, long enough to let Adrien think about how time had changed him. Eight years ago he would’ve jumped at the chance to go to a party and make friends.
But having one thing after another ripped out from underneath him had changed his perspective. Being stopped from going to public school. The many parties thrown by coworkers his father had prevented him from seeing. Not to mention all the stuff he’d been forced to bail on because of an akuma attack. Isolation thanks to his family and his duties had done well to keep him from having friends.
But tonight… maybe tonight would be different. The old embers of optimism burned bright inside him, despite what the years had done to extinguish them.
He found a place to park his car and walked up to the apartment. His hands were stuffed into his pockets to ward off the chill and he was still lost in his thoughts by the time he arrived at the front door. His hand touched the door knob at the same time as someone else.
Startled, he looked to see who he had bumped into only to get lost in big, blue eyes.
--------------
“Marinette, I promise you look fine,” Tikki said patiently as her chosen ran a brush through her hair nervously. Tikki smirked. “I’m sure Adrien will love what you’re wearing.”
Marinette fumbled her brush, dropping it. “Don’t just say that!”
“Why not?”
“Because I’m not getting dressed up just for him!”
“Oh?” Tikki said innocently. Far too innocently. “Are you expecting Chat Noir to make an appearance too?”
A blush spread across Marinette’s face as she groaned. “Don’t even joke about that. I don’t know what I’d do if both Adrien and Chat Noir were both at the party.”
“I wouldn’t be too worried about that if I were you,” Tikki said with a knowing smile. She floated off of the desk where she was sitting and toward Marinette. “You know, this might be a good chance to spend some quality time with Adrien, if that’s what you want.”
“To be honest? I don’t know what exactly I want.” Marinette sighed and sat down, smoothing her skirt as she did so. “It’s been a while since I’ve felt this way about someone, so to have it happen with two people almost at the same time…”
“Did you not have any crushes growing up? I’ve heard that’s pretty common for young humans.”
“I mean, some I guess. Definitely nothing that I’ve acted on. And before you ask, yes I have dated. But never anything serious.”
“But you want something serious with one of them?”
“Yes? Maybe? I don’t know,” Marinette said, burying her face in her hands and groaning. “I don’t like to rush into things, but… I haven’t felt a connection like this before.” She waved her hands around. “And now I’ve got two of them!”
“I’m sure you’ll figure something out! I’ve had a lot of chosen, but never one as clever as you.” Tikki landed on Marinette’s shoulder. “Why don’t you tell me about your friend’s party? To help get your mind off it.”
“Well…” Marinette said, calming down now that she was switching tracks in her mind. She grabbed her purse, which Tikki rushed into. “Alya got a taste for throwing parties back in university, so they’ve gotten pretty big sometimes. Like the Halloween one where I met Chat - she was selling tickets to that through the Cat Chat.”
Marinette left her apartment, closing the door behind her. She didn’t live that far from Alya’s place, one of many reasons she lived here in the first place. A few minutes of walking and she’d be there.
Tikki frowned. “Are there going to be a lot of people at this one too?”
“No, no,” Marinette said, waving her hand dismissively. “The New Year’s party is usually pretty small. There are usually about ten of us, mostly her and Nino’s friends. It’s nice.”
“So what do you do there?”
Marinette shrugged. “Same thing most people do at parties, I guess. Play games, drink, dance, talk. Although New Year’s is a little special because her apartment has a great view of the fireworks show the city does.”
“Wow! That does sound fun!”
“Right? Anyway, I’m also pretty nervous because Adrien said he’d try to make it. Nino and Alya have been dying to meet him, but…”
“But?”
“Well, they tend to worry too much about me. Which makes me worried that they’ll scare him away by trying to get us together.” She entered the building through the backway, a little shortcut she’d learned over the past couple years.
“Hm…” Tikki hummed, a ghost of a smile at her lips. “That’s definitely a dilemma. Be a shame if they got the two of you to really hit it off with each other.”
“Tikki,” Marinette whined as the door to Alya’s apartment came into view.
“I’m just teasing, Marinette. But still, it wouldn’t be too bad, right?”
Before Marinette could respond, her hand touched the doorknob at the same time someone else’s did. She jumped and was about to apologize when she looked up into bright green eyes.
Both of them stood staring at each other for much longer than Marinette would care to admit. This was the first time they’d seen one another since when they had first met at the fashion show, even if they’d talked plenty of times online.
Eventually, Adrien rubbed the back of his neck and said, “Hey-”
Naturally he was cut off when the door flew open, Alya standing on the other side. Now, Marinette had known her friend long enough to notice the tell-tale signs of being tipsy and right now Alya checked off all those boxes. Clearly either Marinette and Adrien were the last ones to arrive, or Alya had gotten a head start on the night’s festivities.
That likely contributed to how Alya grabbed them both by the arms and practically dragged them inside, although Marinette wouldn’t put it past her to do that even stone cold sober.
“Come on you two, stop standing outside the door like a couple of weirdos,” she said, laughing. She turned her head toward another part of the apartment and raised her voice. “Hey, babe! Your buddy is here! Come on and meet him!”
Nino poked his head from around the corner, where Marinette knew their living room and therefore game consoles were, and saw his face split into a grin when he spotted Adrien.
“DUDE!” He rushed forward and gently punched Adrien’s arm. “I can’t believe I finally get to meet you! Come on, let me show ya around my crib. It might not be what you’re used to, but me casa es tu casa!”
Nino chuckled and threw an arm around a confused Adrien’s shoulders. Adrien glanced back at her and gave her a slightly worried smile and a wave before he disappeared.
“So,” Alya said, dragging Marinette’s attention back to her. She was looking awfully focused despite the handful of drinks Marinette knew she must have already had. “Let’s talk about you and blondie, hm?
Marinette groaned. It was going to be a long party.

Your profile picture displayed under one photo.
Two photos.
Four. Eight. Sixteen posts.
Multiply that by thirty.
The young man fumed even more by your serial likes on his Facebook posts. Matters had gotten worse on Instagram.
“She’s a trip, and a trick,” he muttered. “How dare she interfere?”
Without warning, he’d flipped his desk over. His eyes now burned with fire.
“Time to teach her some manners.”

“Oooh, but that's my favourite colour! I wanna see more!”
Your fantasy took a dive as you saved the picture you wanted. A known photographer on campus had captured one of the most beautiful backshots you've ever seen. Without a second thought, the photo was sent to Erik Stevens on Facebook. It's no surprise you've liked all his posts, but who could possibly resist?
His cousin Troy had warned you about serial liking his stuff after class yesterday, but you couldn't care less. Erik was sexy and that's all that mattered.
So the time came for Reading Week, and you haven't seen Erik nor Troy on school grounds.
That's strange.
His Facebook page was deactivated. No sweat - he had other social media you could look at. Only downside…
Your IP address was blocked.
Damn it!
Trish and Shania knocked on your door when you've let them in. “What's up?”
Your voice was void of its usual upbeat vibe. You’ve missed the high and fulfillment of undressing him with your eyes. The sultry sound of his voice. The swag accentuated in his walk.
It didn't help that your brain refused to play nighttime movies with him in them.
“What's wrong?” Shania asked as she entered your room.
“I need to get some Chardonnay Pinot Grigio, so I can calm myself down.”
Shania and Trish exchanged knowing looks. All three of you were halfway through sophomore year, and this high-time drinking wasn't cutting it anymore. Not since Coretta's horrific accident under the influence. It's left a damper on the school community since she was at the top of her class. You've all vowed to keep away from alcoholic beverages until graduation.
Trish approached your closet while Shania took your laptop and unplugged it.
“No more Erik, Y/N,” she said. “I understand where you're coming from, but I'm afraid your obsession with him will do more harm than good.”
You rolled your eyes and sighed heavily. “But he’s got the look. He's the real deal.”
“Damn right he ain't the real deal,” Trish said, selecting your ensemble. “We're going to take our minds off of the stress that school brings, without getting drunk.”
A pout screwed your features as you crossed your arms. “Y'all are so wrong for this. All kinds of wrong! He's the only one that matters to me, and now he hardly exists.”
Trish sighed, while Shania chuckled softly.
“Give him a break. We're going to unwind tonight, and this is also a great opportunity to revisit the early 2000s Era.”
“To the club?” You asked.
“Yes, and it will be lit!” Shania exclaimed, lighting up the mood.
~•~•~
Erik and Troy hung out at Aaron's crib. The older man gave them permission to stick around in this space while Study (Reading) Week was in session at school. No classes, but everyone was encouraged to keep their memories fresh and take care of themselves.
Both cousins, two years apart in age, from an invisible African country, had hidden their true identities from others.
Erik Stevens.
Troy Clue.
When the man of the house disappeared, presumably on his way to work, N'Jadaka and T'Challa reverted back to speaking Xhosa, opened communication with their relatives in Wakanda, and monitored your IP address.
~•~•~
Omarion's “Drop That Heater” blared throughout the hall. The intensity of the music's bass overpowered your body, your heart had an intrinsic connection with it.
It's been four hours now, and the ladies you've kicked it with had decided to call it a night.
Not you, though.
“C'mon Y/N, we've got homework to focus on,” said Shania, who grabbed your arm.
“I agree,” Trish chimed in. “Besides, do we still have Erik and Troy to deal with?”
You shook your head. As the music died down, the DJ played “Do That Thing” by B2K and Lil’ Kim. The crowd went ballistic - no surprise, since the two-time platinum music group was on tour and y'all had little to no chances to attend their live shows. School work had top priority. At least this club was kind enough to celebrate the comeback of millennium artists. Chingy, Pretty Ricky, Lloyd and Ying Yang Twins had also been the jam of tonight.
Without further ado, your small group pulled you out of the club. You didn't drink - y'all had agreed to have genuine fun without getting drunk or high, in the slightest. Huge difference compared to your younger days, and you had every reason to celebrate.
*****
To be continued... Sorry y’all, the next short-short part will come when it chooses to. I have some baby-makin’ to do.

🦋 hi nice to talk to you again! this is how we fall is amazing as always when the reader didn't believe it was them i was like.. mood my brain would be like nope it has to be someone else! also you write the best side characters.
i'd be on tumblr more, but just finished my first day of finals lol. also i listened to maverick b-sides after i got home (as for older b-sides i have lots of time during break hehe can't wait to listen to your recommendations). i really like them both (especially hypnotized)!
can't wait for break but until then i'll just be here streaming maverick and the sf9 rumination album lol don't even get me started on how much music i've missed.
i also downloaded superstar tbz bc rhythm games are the best! it's so fun but omg some songs are so hard i swear i have too many ss games on my phone. during break i know i'll play it more and then i'll know more of their songs too a win for me! lol i'm definitely falling for tbz slowly but surely bc wtf sangyeon is already wrecking me.
lol i'm too much of a multi—trust me there's quite a few groups i like even if it's just casually and yes i do like keeho from p1harmony! canada line is iconic. their members honestly would be great at tbz dances (they've danced to the stealer a couple times, intak's a fan of tbz, especially of juyeon it's cute!). i think it would be cool if a group i stanned covered no air tho, love that song too much LOL. also yes p1h discography is v nice, what's your favorite song from them if you don't mind me asking?
no bc same about the maverick mv i'm hoping they expand on that lore more in the future idk if they have lore or not—i just like storyline mvs a lot hence my love of burn it (but it's okay bc i like watching dance-focused mvs alot too! now i really want to learn maverick choreo, maybe during xmas break lol).
AHH here have a paragraph about me screaming about golden child main vocals casted in a musical istg why did all the groups that went to rtk and kingdom have to be so talented. it's such a cool opportunity for them! (altar boyz cast is stacked lmaoo).
and one day you'll probably find me and my work lmao i don't have many fics out yet but i have a bunch of things in drafts as always—i'd reveal myself to you one day but i like the anonymous ask thing haha!
hiii how have you been? how did your finals go!! hope you get to rest a bit during holiday season and all <3 ahaha my side characters... that's really just me bullying hyunjae as usual 🤡 but ty for reading!! hypnotized is great, have you seen the choreo that had everyone going wild? ooh yes lmk your fave bsides! ahh i did like the sf9 rumination album, esp dreams and gentleman 🤩 but yeah i hope you get a chance to catch up on music and stuff haha
oOOH i also downloaded superstar tbz!! have not felt so competitive in ages but now i'm feeling the adrenaline for beating people in the weekly league HAHA (also will have to pass out of control hard mode one of these days). how's your score and card collection so far tho? ALSO SANGYEON the loml ahhh good choice, good taste, i approve hahaha 😍
ohh that's cool, i think i've seen jiung(?) dance to a tbz song at some point but idk anyone in p1h except for keeho so far. omg i actually like so many of their songs but my favs would be that's it, ayaya, and breakthrough!! wbu? ahh i'm sure more groups will cover tbz eventually with how big they're becoming and then maybe you'll get to see a no air cover!
yeahh i love storyline mvs too, kpop needs to bring them back haha. i think that's kind of what i noticed in tbz kingdom performances too tho? like they had very cool concepts for their stages but there wasn't much of a storyline compared to what they had for rtk. oooh the maverick choreo looks like it'd be fun to learn tho!!
omg yes altar boyz!! and it was sungyoon's musical debut too right? i've been seeing clips floating around on twt and it looked like a fun time 🥺 i'll maybe try to dig up a link somewhere to watch it HAHA. but yeah the cast is full of idols i was surprised LOL
i mean i might... have a good guess at who you are... HAHA but yeah we can stick with the anon asks!! anyway, merry christmas and happy holidays ✨🎄🎉🎆 i hope you're staying safe and resting well!!

Honor Among Thieves Ch.8
Once outside the shop, Bonnie pulled Aida to the side and whispered to her. "So what's the plan here? There's no way handsy isn't going to snitch." She glanced back to Michelangelo.
"Well, he looks like a talker," Aida whispered back. "I'll just keep talking him away from your shit while you get the thinga-majigur.” She stopped to shrug. “Or at the least I'll flirt with him."
Bonnie put a finger to her chin and nodded, “That could work…”
"What're we whispering about?" Michelangelo leaned over the two and whispered as well.
Bonnie yelped and jumped away from the two of them. She glared at Michelangelo before turning forward and walking ahead.
Michelangelo chuckled and looked to Aida with raised brows. "Sooo, how's the fam?"
Aida jumped as well and let out a little squeak. She would never get used to these mutant turtles popping out of nowhere. The girl started to follow her mentor before answering. "Alright. Yours?" She knew she was being short right now, but she wasn't all too sure if she should be an open book about her family. Although these turtles have saved them twice, she still was not sure they could be trusted.
Michelangelo crossed his arms behind his head. "Goood! We're actually really close to finishing up our Hip-Hop Christmas album! Gonna go up on itunes for nine, ninety-nine!" He smiled.
She raised a brow at him in disbelief. "You guys...wrote an album? As in, you do more than just fight crime and stalk girls?"
"Uh-yeah!! That would be such a boring life!" He lowered his arms and pointed. "And we don't stalk girls! It's just that you two girls are particularly naughty, so we have to keep an eye on you!" He winked.
She looked at him for a while and shook her head. "You're very persistent you know that?" She smiled at the branches of conversation he offered; distracting him was going to be easier than she thought. "So if you guys have hobbies, then what else do you do?"
Michelangelo looked up at the night sky in thought. "Well… I like playing video games, reading comics, dancing..." He counted on his fingers. "Donatello loves binge watching sitcoms, Leonardo reads history books, and don't tell him I told you this but--" He hovered a hand over his mouth and said quietly "Raph is a knitter."
Bonnie’s ears twitched at the word and she snapped her head around. "What did you just say boy?" Her ears apparently heard something else more offensive.
Michelangelo's brows perked in response, confused as to why she suddenly got an attitude. "..Raph is a knitter?" He repeated.
"O-Oh…" She was taken aback by the response for a moment but then snorted after a few seconds. "Wait… What?"
"Yeeeaaaah, he actually has made a lot of our clothes." He smiled slightly and shrugged.
"Oooh myyy goddddd!" Bonnie grinned from ear to ear and began laughing out loud.
"Seriously, don't tell him that I told you!" He held out a hand to her.
Aida giggled a little at the information. "Guess we know what to get him for Christmas, huh?" She nodded at Bonnie before turning back to the turtle. "What kind of dancing do you do?"
"All kinds! Though, Splinter wanted to hone my mad skills, so he made me practice capoeira!" He began to sway back and forth on one foot to another.  He then did two side flips before landing back on his feet. "Mad skills!" He gave her a suave look.
Her eyes widened, impressed he was actually able to move like that with the giant shell on his back. She had never heard of the dancing style he was referring to, but it did genuinely intrigue her. "You'll have to show me a couple of your moves then!" She smiled, "Then maybe I'll show you a couple of mine."
Michelangelo smiled back at her. "Sooo does that mean you're planning to see me again?" He asked.
She smirked a little and shrugged, "It seems like I see you guys again regardless if I want to or not. At least next time we'll have something to do."
Michelangelo's smile never faded as they spoke. He was excited to know another pair of humans, and these two seemed to be genuinely interested in him. Well... the Latina at least. He examined her from head to toe as they walked, and found himself focusing on her hair. He knew another human being with long dark hair, but he was never allowed to touch it. Now wasn't the time to ask, but maybe if they did start hanging out more... Maybe she'd let him touch it one day.
Aida kept talking to the mutant and actually found his smile to be a little contagious. It was becoming easier to strike up a conversation with him, and she found herself actually interested in the secret life of the mutant and his family. They had been hiding beneath the city for nineteen years and it was fascinating to hear about how they did it and how they still acted like a regular family.
"So wait, how do you guys pay for pizza?" She asked as they got closer to Bonnie's apartment. "Or are you eating old-ass dumpster left overs?"
"Ugh! No! We may live in sewers, but that doesn't mean we don't have standards!" He placed a hand on his chest defensively. "Donnie runs a Technical Support line, and gets paid through that. He's really smart, and really fast so he doesn't work too hard; and there's always someone who's been hit by the pornado!" He stuck out his tongue.
"Pornado?..." Bonnie cut in again and looked back to Michelangelo suspiciously.
Mikey blushed a little and fiddled with his fingers. "You know!... When they get a virus from looking at porn on the wrong websites!"
She was quiet for a second. "Well, you would know, wouldn't ya." She smirked and turned back forward.
"Heeey!.. I'm a growing boy! And like we told ya, there's no girl turtles as far as we know of so the internet is how we learn stuff..." He mumbled and looked down to his feet.
Aida had to stifle a laugh and covered her mouth with her hand. "Oh god...you know Animal Planet is free right? There are definitely fewer viruses, and I'm sure you could see plenty of turtle-ladies there." She poked at his arm teasingly.
Michelangelo blushed again, but chuckled as well. "Yeeeah. I guess you're right about that." He rubbed the back of his neck.
"Alright. Since we're not going to be taking you through the lobby, here's our stop." Bonnie said while looking up the back of her apartment building. "I'm on the fifth floor, so we've got some climbing to do." She said and jumped up to grab the fire escape and pull it down.
"Heh! That's no problem for me, do you see the calves!" He stuck out his left leg, and pulled up his shorts revealing the hardened muscle.
Bonnie rolled her eyes and then smirked. "Boy, get out of here with those chicken legs!" She said and then hopped up onto the stairs. She kicked her foot up and over the rail, putting her hands to her waist and puffing out her chest. "Get on my level!" She said and grazed her fingers along the backside of her leg.
Aida, on the other hand, kept quiet about the leg-talk. Unlike the other two, she wasn't exactly toned or muscular; sure she could run quickly or climb over a wall or two when needed, but she was mostly just skinny. There were many times where she envied Bonnie's curvy body and compared it to her fairly flat one.
She climbed the fire escape and sighed. “Okay ladies, you're both pretty," She interrupted, weaving between the two and climbing the stairs. "Let's hurry. Pretty sure it took us an hour just to get here. And I'm having too much fun to let Goody-two-shoes-in-blue interrupt us."
"Right." Mikey nodded. "And knowing Leo, he'll probably show up sooner than later."
"Well, let’s get going then." Bonnie said, and continued along the stairs.
Traveling the fire escape only took them a couple of minutes. When they got to Bonnies apartment she hovered over the window, making sure Michelangelo couldn't see in side. She opened it cautiously and stepped halfway in. "You stay outside." She pointed at him.
"Aww, what?" He frowned and threw up his arms. "I wanna see your crib!" He whined for a second before shutting up. A thought came to him and he tapped a finger on his bottom lip. "Unless... you have something to hide?" He raised a skeptical brow at her.
"You're damn right I do, and it’s called unmentionables!" Bonnie quickly spit out a lie and slipped through her window. Pulling the curtains closed behind her.
Mikey snorted. "You've already showed me your boobs, what’s a couple pairs of underwear gonna do!" He called out to her, then huffed again crossing his arms and leaning on the side of the building in a pout.
Aida sat on the windowsill, trying to use her body to obscure whatever could be seen from the window. "It's okay, you're not missing out on much," She smiled. "It's just a bunch of sports bras. Besides, bras for well-endowed women are hardly ever cute." She tried to think of something to keep him distracted with and was actually stumped. "So uh...come to the surface often?" The girl mentally smacked herself. It had come so easily to her before, so why was she having trouble now?
Michelangelo laughed lightly at the question and sighed. "Any chance I can get." He answered and shifted his weight from one leg to the other. "It sucks being down under."
She raised a brow and began to tap her fingers together. "Yeah? Thought you'd be used to it by now."
"Well I was, till’ a couple of years ago when we made our first appearance above. Then everything changed so fast, and it was literally a whole new world." He shrugged. "We even had the opportunity to live among you guys but… It didn't go the way I hoped it would." He muttered and frowned.
She cocked her head, now very curious about what he had to say. How did they manage to stay so hidden from the world? "Why didn't you go for it?" It sounded like he really enjoyed the surface world. She figured he would be the first one of his brothers to jump at the opportunity at least.
"I didn't get to make the call..." He said in a bitter tone and glared down at his feet.
Suddenly there was a crashing noise, and a loud "thud' after it.  "Oww..." Bonnie whined from the inside of her apartment.
Michelangelo jumped at the noise and the girls cry and quickly turned to the window. "Are you okay?" He asked and tried peering inside around Aida.
The sound made the Latina jump in surprise. When he approached, Aida immediately put her hand against his face and tried to push him away. "Bonnie?" She called out, looking around her shoulder to look inside. "You need any help in there?"
"H-Hey!" Mikey whined and shut his eyes when she touched his face.
“Augh… Yeah.” She groaned and rubbed at her ankle. “I just nicked my ankle on the corner of my coffee table is all. Pretty good actually…” She hissed.
"Lemme take a look at it! Me and my brothers rough house all the time, so I could tell you if it's sprained or not!" Mikey forced his way back into the conversation.
"N-No! You stay out there!" Bonnie responded quickly.
"Ugh!" Michelangelo scoffed and rolled his eyes. "What is the big deal?" He asked and grabbed Aida by the arms and moved her out of the windowsill. He poked his head inside and his eyes widened when he saw the piles of valuables and cash spread about the apartment. He gasped a little, and then furrowed his brows in disappointment.
Bonnie huffed and looked away from him. "I told you to stay outside! And too be fair, this stuff was here far long before I met you!"
"Duuuddde!..." He said, sounding irritated and already halfway through the window.
Aida winced when he saw what was inside; but what really surprised her was the pinch of guilt in her gut. She did her best to shake it off and tried her best to pull him back out of the window. "You can't tell your brothers!" She declared, and grabbed ahold of his shell, tugging at it. "They'll throw us in jail!"
"Wait… This is yours too?" He pointed at Aida and raised a brow.
"Psh! No! But like I said before, if I go down, she goes down with me." Bonnie huffed.
"Aww... What a good friend." He said sarcastically.
Bonnie narrowed her eyes at him in a glare, but her face softened soon after. She looked down at her ankle in thought, the back up at him with larger eyes. "Sooo... You gonna tell your brothers?"
Michelangelo sighed and rubbed his head. He was quite for a while before saying anything. "I guess not..." He said hesitantly.
Bonnie's body flinched slightly in shock. "Wait, what? Really?... No convincing with like, boobies and such?" She asked.
Michelangelo scoffed. "No! But you guys can't be stealing anymore after this! Seriously! I'm honestly surprised that Leo's let you get away with it twice now." He crossed his arms. "If he finds out a third time, you're definitely going in!"
This guy is too gullible for his own good... Aida thought to herself. She sighed in relief, thankful they didn't have to do much to keep his mouth quiet. The only downside was if they got caught again; so far the giant turtles had been very forgiving and lenient with the two girls. She could only imagine how they may act if the girls were to betray their trust.
But her family had to eat too. What was she supposed to do in the meantime, apply for job after job only to be turned down? It's not like she wanted to be a thief, but the world gave her no choice. Besides, the people her and Bonnie took from had plenty of money, it's not like they were actually hurting anyone.
"Thank you." She managed to say after a while, slowly lowering her arms. She couldn't promise that they wouldn't go through with their heist, but she could at least show some gratitude.
"You're welcome." Michelangelo said softly and then looked to Bonnie.
Bonnie immediately looked away. She hadn't thanked the turtles for anything yet. The concept just seemed weird to her for some reason. Maybe it was because they were technically animals, and it made them seem below her. It also didn't help that she'd had been on her own for a while now, and wasn't used to getting help from others. Her cheeks burned and her blood boiled. "Thanks," she said curtly.
Mikey huffed at her, but smiled a little. "You're welcome too." He stuck his tongue out at her.
Another loud thud could be heard, but this time from the rooftop. Michelangelo jumped at the noise, and there was fear in his eyes. "Shit! They're early! Grab the thing and let’s go!" He hissed as he hopped out the window and back onto the fire escape.
Aida felt her heart race and jumped inside the apartment, bending down to help Bonnie. "Alright, show me where you put this thing!"
"Yo, Mikey! You down there?" Raphael called in a strained low tone, as if he were still trying to stay quiet.
"Shit!" Aida seethed. "Great time to twist your ankle!"
"I'm good! I'm good!" Bonnie waved her off and then pointed to the kitchen counter. "It's over there! The thingy with the blinking purple light."
Michelangelo chuckled nervously. "Ye-Yeah! I'm coming!" He said, and hopped up the escape.
Leonardo stared down at him skeptically and raised his chin. "Where's the thing?" He nodded at him.
"Oh! Uhm... Just waiting on the girls to bring it up!" He fiddle with his fingers. "It's definitely here! Just- Bonnie had to go to the bathroom, and you know how girls are! They travel in pairs..." He laughed nervously and trailed off.
Aida got up and darted to the kitchen, trying to find anything that was blinking. "C'mon, c'mon...it's blinking! How hard can it--oh, there it is." She huffed and snatched it off the microwave, shoving it in her pocket as she returned to Bonnie. She offered her a hand and motioned towards the window. "Hurry!"
Raphael glared down at his little brother, still a couple of flights above the blue-eyed turtle. He knew something was up, he could feel it in his gut and hear it in Michelangelo's tone. Not to mention he didn't like that both girls were missing. If they had tricked his little brother, then he was going to lose it.
With one swift motion, Raphael jumped down to the platform Michelangelo was on, trying to get around his little brother. "How long have they been gone?"
"Just a couple of minutes!" Mikey answered quickly.  He spread his arms outwards to block his brother, but tried acting as if he was simply stretching.
Raph growled lowly and pointed threateningly at Mikey. "If they're not back in thirty seconds, I'll go in there myself an--"
"Hey! You guys are here early!" Aida chimed in, dipping underneath Michelangelo's arm to stand next to him in an attempt to help block the window. She ignored the red turtle's growl and continued to speak. "Is this the thing you were looking for?" She took the device out of her pocket, the purple light still ebbing from it.
"That's it!" Donatello jumped down to them from the rooftop, and confirmed with a smile on his face.
Bonnie slowly made her way out of the window and pulled the curtains together in front of it, before closing the window.  She limped her way up to Aida and Michelangelo and sighed tiredly.
Leo raised a brow and nodded in their direction. "What happened to you?"
"I nicked my coffee table." She shrugged and scratched behind her ear. "Soo... We good here?"
Raphael clenched his jaw. He was frustrated that he didn't catch them doing anything wrong and even more frustrated that they possibly pulled a fast one on him. Even worse, he was frustrated that whatever they were hiding, the girls got Michelangelo involved. It was one thing to pull a fast one on his brother, anyone could do that; but to get him to participate? They were manipulating him. And if they end up hurting his little brother either physically or emotionally, then Raphael was going to take the gloves off.
Without a word, Raphael flicked Michelangelo's snout--and hard-- before turning his back on them. "Yeah. We're good," He grumbled before he started to climb down the fire escape to the alley below.
Aida let out a sigh of relief. The adrenaline pumping through her veins made her joints shiver but she kept her composure. They were in the clear, for now. At least now the two girls will have a chore to do in the morning:  Hide all merchandise.
Michelangelo flinched and snorted when Raph flicked him. He opened his eyes slowly and turned back to the girls. Smiling lightly he gave them a small wave before following after his red clad brother.
"Well. Hopefully this is the last time we'll be seeing you two." Leo said as he began to descend down the fire escape.
Bonnie was quiet, but a thought struck her and she perked up. "W-Wait!" She called out to them.
Donatello paused when he took the device from Aida's hand, his brown eyes locking on Bonnie.
Raphael, on the other hand, rolled his eyes and began to climb back up. He peered over the railing, clearly not amused by her sudden need for a sentimental 'good-bye'.
Bonnie fingers fidgeted and clenched into fist. She hesitated to speak, and licked her lips nervously. "So... Back at the pawn shop. That guy you knocked out... He was looking for Michelangelo’s nunchuk and he knows that we-" She gestured to herself and Aida. "Know something. Sooo... uh." She avoided eye contact with any of the turtles.  A lump was forming in her throat and her cheeks burned warm. She had to ask for help...again.
Any excitement Aida had been feeling was quickly replaced with dread. She had completely forgotten about the mobster at the pawn shop; in fact, she was surprised she had forgotten him in the first place. There was no way either of them would be safe for long, especially since the man would have a migraine whenever he regains consciousness. However, she saw the girl's hesitation and turned to speak for her, but stopped when she saw the red turtle glaring at them. He looked so frustrated that it actually made her pause.
Donatello, however, did not notice his brother's fury but immediately paid attention the girl's unique situation. "Normally I'd say going to the cops would be a good option for you two. But since we're involved..." He trailed off, rubbing his chin in thought. The only other option was to bring them down to the lair for a period of time. At least until this man lost interest in them. He turned to Leonardo for his judgement. "What do you think Leo?"
Leonardo looked down in thought. He was quiet for a minute or so. He glanced back and forth at each of his brothers and then to the girls. Bonnie stared at him with a concerned look on her face. She could tell that he wasn't fond of her, and for good reasoning; but she hoped he could look pass their previous engagements. She had never been in trouble like this before and it genuinely scared her. The turtles had each other, and Aida had her family, but she was alone in New York. If someone wanted to come after her, it'd be pretty easy since she had no one else to rely on.
Finally, Leonardo let out a deep sigh in response. "I'd pack some boots if you have them. You're gonna be trudging through some dirty water."

Game Commentary: Porto VS Juventus
I’ve not done one of these in WAY too long (because my presence has been required on a track all winter), but I’m so glad I have the time to do it for this match! Why? Because goalkeepers.
- Not sure how I feel about these Juventus jerseys...
‘01: OH HI, GIGI.
‘05: Lol. Yeah, so that’s totally a dive. Ref doesn’t call it, though.
‘07: Neves takes a shot from distance because YOLO. It’s early enough that this amuses me rather than annoys me.
‘09: OH HI, IKER.
‘13: Nice little run by Khedira, but his cross doesn’t quite make it to Higuain. Do it again, Sami!
‘15: I have no idea what the crowd is chanting right now, but it sounds friggin’ badass.
‘16: Quick! Foul everybody! Go!
‘17: Hey, Porto, do you wanna, like, get the ball? Or something?
‘17: Oh, there we go, they got the ball. They’re not able to do much with it, though. Disappointing.
‘19: Iker, I’ve missed hearing you yelling at your teammates...
- Okay, so I’m at my dad’s house, and he does not get soccer. He’s equal parts amused and concerned about me right now, lol..
‘21: OH HI, IKER. Way to deal with stuff. Juve are looking like the vastly more dangerous side right now, though.
‘22: Commentators throwing shade at Iker now. UNCOOL. I WILL FIGHT YOU.
‘25: Telles clatters into Cuadrado. Least shocking yellow card ever.
‘26: Oh, and now it’s two! He’s off. WTF, Telles? I don’t know you and I think you’re ridiculous right now...
‘29: Silva off, Layun on for Porto now.
‘32: OH HI, IKER. Nice save.
‘33: Oooh. Khedira’s header is wide, but it’s a good effort. Juve are still looking dangerous and Porto are... not.
‘35: Noooooooo,Iker, you cannot be injured. Nononononono.... Okay, he seems to be all right.... Phew!
‘38: Iker is NOT impressed with any of you right now.
‘38: My dad just noticed Iker’s “stank face.” Lol.
‘44: My dad also wants to see more pace in this match. So, y’know, if you had any questions about where I get it from...
- I agree with my dad, for the record. More pace would be fun.
‘45: OOOOOH DAMN!!!!! Porto got saved by the post there!!!!! Dybala can’t believe it.
‘45+: That’s a dumb challenge, Maxi Pereira...
- Well! Getting a little bit chippy before that halftime whistle, wasn’t it?
‘46: Missed opportunity for Juve! Dybala gets the ball past iker, but he’s ruled offside. Iker’s gonna yell anyways...
‘46: Gigi might yell, too! That was not a good back pass!
‘48: Herrera fires a shot juuuuust wide! Chances are coming quickly now for both teams...
‘49: Bit of a crash and bash in front of Iker’s goal. Ouch. That’ll leave some bruises on several players.
‘51: Lol, Sami, what are you taking that shot for?
‘52: Stop. Giving. Dybala. Space. To. Shoot.
- If I didn’t have such a soft spot for Iker I’d like this kid. He is a quick and delightful menace.
-I just don’t want Iker to be sad. Lol.
‘55: Short corners are lame. Always. I don’t care.
‘57: Commentator says Porto are “still very much in the game.” My dad says, “And if they score more points, they win!” Attempted Dad Joke. I’m surprised it took this long.
‘59: Damn, Sami, that one almost worked!
‘60: Nees is off and Corona is on. I know nothing about this dude, but he has awesome hair.
- Okay, so I had to go set the table. Back now. Apparently, I didn’t miss anything in the last eight minutes...
‘68: Brahimi tries to make a move with some fancy footwork, but he can’t get around the defender. Try again, dude, you’ve got skills!
‘71: GOAL. Juuuuuuve. Oh, I’m sad for Iker, but that’s AWFUL defending and Pjaca capitalizes.
‘72: Both teams subbed someone, but i missed who came on and off for Juve. Brahimi’s off for Porto, though, so.... dude doesn’t have another chance to make something happen. Not sure about that decision.
‘75: GOAL. Dani Alves with a beauty! Nothing doing about that!
‘80: This crowd is whistling like mad each time a player goes down without a call now.
‘81: Higuain, you should’ve gotten on the end of that pass from Alves...
‘83: Porto get their first corner of the match... and don’t do anything with it.
‘84: Herrera flings himself into two Juve players to stop the attack and gets booked for it. Because duh.
- I don’t think this is going to have an especially thrilling ending. Oh well.
‘86: Oh, but that’s close! Sami Khedira almost finds the far corner! He’s been a friggin’ menace, hasn’t he?
‘88: Sure, let’s rack up some more yellow cards...
- Dad’s girlfriend just came home. She doesn’t soccer anymore than he does, so she just looked at me and walked away.
- Aaaaaand it’s done. OMG, NO, DON’T PULL AWAY. SHOW IKER AND GIGI HUGGING.
- Bah. They didn’t show the hugging. I know it must’ve happened, though. Someone GIF it for me.
