The Pale King (Hollow Knight) vs Dimentio (Super Paper Mario)

Pale king

Founded a kingdom, booting out the old god (the radiance), and had pretty much everyone worshipping him by the time things went to shit. Things going to shit, of course, was the radiance coming back for revenge by infecting the minds of his people. Instead of. Idk. Using his prophetic powers to find a good future. He killed thousands, if not millions, of his children to find one that was truly "hollow" (spoiler: it wasn't, it somehow loved him) to contain her. In the end he hid his palace away in the dream world and died on his throne (this is a theory, but he might have been killed by void, the substance he used to try to make his children hollow) Anyway he's an asshole and I want answers for WHY he thought that would work but the knight (player character, also one of his kids) gets to beat up his corpse so at least that's something;

Dimentio

Man had an entire found family that loved and trusted him and when he found out that the leader of their group was lying to them (he told them he was going to end the multiverse and create a new one just for all of them to be happy but actually his plan was to destroy the entire multiverse and leave it in ruin because he was. REALLY sad. Whoop!) instead of telling them he decided to betray ALL of them and end the world and create his own perfect world for himself. Flaw in his plan was the fact that the prophecy he used to achieve this CLEARLY stated that the fate of the worlds was actually up to LUIGI and thus when he (and I am NOT over exaggerating here) POSSESSED HIM AND FUSED THEM BOTH INTO AN ELDRICH HORROR he was able to be weakened by the power of love and was killed whoops ❤, He didn't even betray everyone for a noble reason it was because he was selfish as hell. He caused so much pain and suffering just to die anyways. I cannot stress enough that his betrayal was his downfall. He also had SO many chances to not do what he did.

Squeak Squad:

they are rat thieves who are a found family and nothing can convince my otherwise (not even canon)

Not much is known about them, but they’re 4 little dudes just being in a gang together. Here’s a list of their names from the image: the one with the hat is Daroach, Storo is the big blue one with the eyepatch, Spinni is the yellow one, and Doc is the one in the flying saucer. The pink guy carrying the chest is Kirby(he’s not a member of the Squeak Squad). The little mouse things at the bottom and in the background are the Squeaker. Squeakers arent really part of the family, they are more like Henchmen

Team Bleck:

VILLAIN FOUND FAMILY I LOVE THEM SO MUCH THEYRE SO GOOD MAN C'MON... Dimentio is a bitch and Mr. L was kinda brain washed into it but overall they all genuinely have such fun dynamics even Mr L and Dimentio involved, Tragic Wants the world to die Count, the devious little shit that is the insane Fool, the secretary who is in love with a man who loves another, the big lug who just wants to chunk up the place but cares for blecky boy, the beautifully mildly terrifying shapeshifter who can be a giant spider abomination, and the brave brainwashed mechanical genius! You can even add in tippi as an honorary member because shes bleck's fiance :]

Oh man where do I start. Evil team with the power of friendship. Dimentio reading everyone’s diaries. Nassy and Mimi and O’Chunks forming their own mini found family after Dimentio and Bleck are gone.

ROUND 2-A: Dimentio VS Team Red

About Dimentio: He repeatably went behind Count Bleck's back with the goal of using the Chaos Heart himself, getting Mario, Peach, and Bowser to where they need strength-wise to defeat Count Bleck. He often insults and confuses the heroes but also fakes respect for them and tries to "join" their side. He's complete fine with recreating the universe in his own image and was going to destroy everything beyond repair out of spite if he couldn't rule over it. At the end of the game he mind controls Luigi and merges with him and the Chaos Heart to defeat Mario (which is a plan that fails).

About Team Red: A group of five consisting of Sarge, Grif, Simmons, Donut, and Lopez. A list of their exploits includes: Sarge giving Grif Simmons' limbs and then making Simmons a cyborg because he didn't want Grif to be one, Repeatably blowing up their jeep which plays polka music everytime it's driven, Lopez being stuck in Spanish mode and using the fact that none of the team knows Spanish to insult them, Donut taking a grenade to the face and returning with "Light Red-ish" that he refuses to admit is pink, Sarge getting deemed Super-Colonal just to outrank Grif, Simmons burring Sarge alive to become leader with Sarge actually thinking he's dead because command said so and Red Command is never wrong, Grif's colorblind sister trying to join them but accidentally joining Team Blue instead, and Sarge legally changing his name to Sarge to "Dress for the job he wanted".
