(Echo looks away.)

Echo: Nearly killing Octavia... betraying you at Mount Weather.

Bellamy: Echo – Echo, we've all done bad things, some of them to each other. But we are a team now. A unit. That's the reason we'll get back to the ground. Think you could be loyal to us?

Echo: I'd like that. 

(He smiles.)

Echo: Bellamy, this isn't real. As soon as we get back to the ground, all of this -

(He kisses her. She pulls back, surprised. They look at each other before Echo leans in and they keep kissing. He cups her neck. She places a hand on his arm. Her hand cups his cheek. They rise. His hand is on her hip. She wraps an arm around his neck.)

you know what?? not only did t100 s7 not give me bellarke but it also had octavia finally develop into a good person and admit that beating bellamy was fucked up only for her to only ever say this to echo of all people (lmfao what) and apologize to bellamy in a letter he never receives because he fucking dies????? jroth really took bellarke and the blakes away from me...that's so messed up, man. truly.

Rewatching the 100 and it's like my heart is breaking all over again. All Bellamy asked was for the people he loved and trusted most in the world to believe in him. That's it. Can you imagine standing in front of your family and closest friends, simply asking them to believe in you and no one does? I want to cry all over again because that right there was the greatest injustice of all. He died thinking that the people he loved the most in the world hated him, never trusted him, and because he's Bellamy Blake (always searching for redemption, self-deprecating, all heart and leaps of faith) he probably died believing they had every right to feel that way, to turn their backs on him.

He was right about transcendence and everyone else got to enjoy his HEA but him? Fuck that. Fuck them. Fuck JRoth.

I'm livid. Time to go write fanfic to settle this rage.

i still think that the timing of this is wild. folklore, which includes songs like exile, my tears ricochet and hoax (but ESPECIALLY my tears ricochet) was released in july of 2020. then, that same year only weeks/a month later in september, bellarke's storyline is literally my tears ricochet. absolutely WILD.
