Menyerah
Semua, biidznillah.
Baru lewat satu kejadian Allah menunjukkan kuasaNya. Ketika Ibunda Hajar dan bayi nya (Ismail alaihissalam) ditinggalkan nabi Ibrahim ditengah padang pasir tandus tak ada tanda kehidupan. Biidznillah, barangkali Ibunda Hajar kala itu bersedih, berputus asa, ingin menyerah. Apalagi tatkala bayinya menangis kehausan.
Berdo'a, bergerak
Semoga kelak kita akan dikumpulkan bersama Ibunda Hajar. Ditaman surga yang mengalir dibawahnya sungai-sungai.

Sunnah’s to Follow on the First Ten Days of Dhul-Hijjah
The first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah are the most virtuous days of the year, in which Allah (swt) has blessed his Ummah with opportunities to multiply their rewards through His infinite mercy. These days are so sacred that Allah swears an oath by them:‘By the dawn; by the ten nights’ [The Noble Qur’an, 89:1-2].
And Allah also reminds us: ‘Remember Allah during the appointed days’. [The Noble Qur’an, 2:203]
Therefore, we should increase our acts of worship during this sacred time. The Prophet (saw) said, ‘There are no days in which righteous deeds are more beloved to Allah than in these (ten) days’. [Abu Dawud]
Here are nine Sunnah actions you should follow to seek Allah’s forgiveness and maximise your reward during the best ten days of the year:
Dhikr
Let’s begin with a simple yet effective action - increasing your dhikr. In Makkah, the Talbiyah will be on every pilgrim’s tongue throughout the day and night; those at home have also been commanded to praise Allah constantly in these ten days.
The Eid takbeer is an example of dhikr that ticks all three of these boxes - tahleel, takbeer and tahmeed.
You can also make dhikr after your five daily prayers - SubhanAllah 33 times, Alhamdulillah 33 times, and Allahu Akbar 34 times.
Reciting SubhanAllahi wa bihamdihi (Glory be to Allah and praise Him) one hundred times a day will wipe away sins - no matter how burdensome they are.
These simple measures will ensure you are remembering Allah throughout the day and benefitting from the blessings of Dhul-Hijjah.
Fast the first nine days
It is Sunnah to fast on the first nine days of Dhul-Hijjah, because fasting is one of the best of deeds. In a hadith Qudsi, Allah says, ‘All the deeds of the son of Adam are for him, except fasting, which is for Me and I shall reward for it’. [Bukhari]
If you are unable to fast for the whole nine days, try to fast on just the Day of ’Arafah, the 9th of Dhul-Hijjah. Just as Laylat al-Qadr is the most blessed night of the year, ’Arafah is the most blessed day of the year. The Prophet (saw) said, ’There is no day on which Allah frees more people from the Fire than on the day of ‘Arafah’. (Muslim)
Like Laylat al-Qadr, we should spend this day seeking forgiveness and availing ourselves of Allah’s incredible mercy. On this day, non-pilgrims have the opportunity to extinguish the sins of two years by fasting! The Prophet (saw) said, ′It (fasting on the Day of ‘Arafah) expiates the sins of the past year and the coming year’. [Muslim]

Give Sadaqah
Many of us maximise our Sadaqah during the last ten nights of Ramadan, but the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah are just as valuable and present the perfect opportunity to earn extra rewards for simple good deeds!
Hasan al-Basri (rh) said, ‘Going to fulfil the need of your brother is better for you than performing Hajj after Hajj’.
Helping our brothers and sisters in need is one of the acts most beloved to Allah and we have the perfect tool to help you maximise your rewards over the blessed days of Dhul-Hijjah. The Best 10 Days allows you to automate your donations to five emergency locations, including Yemen and Syria, providing food, clean water and medical supplies to suffering families.
Repent
Hajj is the ultimate act of worship we can perform as Muslims to seek forgiveness from Allah and expiate our sins, but most of us are lucky if we can go even once in our lifetime. That is why Dhul-Hijjah is the perfect gift from Allah, allowing us to repent and seek forgiveness for our sins even if we are not on pilgrimage.
Repentance brings us closer to Allah and cleanses our souls. Allah says:
‘Seek forgiveness of your Lord and repent to Him, [and] He will let you enjoy a good provision for a specified term and give every doer of favour his favour’. [The Noble Qur’an, 11:3]
Pray Eid Salah
Eid Salah is one of the ways we show our Islamic identity as a community and is therefore a very important act of worship for all Muslims to partake in. The Prophet (saw) always attended Eid Salah, as did his companions after he had passed away. He encouraged everyone to attend, even menstruating women - who are unable to perform the prayer itself but can still share in the blessings of this gathering.
Give a Prophetic Qurbani
Abu Talhah (ra) reported, ‘The Prophet (saw) sacrificed for the one who could not sacrifice from his Ummah, one who bore witness to the Oneness of Allah and [his] Prophethood’. [Tabarani and Ahmad]
During Eid, the Prophet (saw) would offer an additional sacrifice on behalf of someone in his Ummah that could not afford to. Allah says, ‘There has come to you a Messenger of Allah from among yourselves, who is distressed by the losses you sustain, who is ardently desirous of your welfare and is tender and merciful to those that believe’. [The Noble Qur’an, 9:128]
SubhanAllah, this generous act of our beloved Messenger of Allah is an incredible example of His mercy to His Ummah that Allah refers to in the above ayah, to sacrifice for his Ummah and cover them till the Day of Judgement.
You too can follow this beautiful Sunnah and give an extra Qurbani to maximise your reward during Dhul-Hijjah. Not only will you be reviving a forgotten Sunnah, but you will be also doubling your impact by feeding even more families a rare meal with meat during the days of Eid-al-Adha.

“I learned the Talbiyah from the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) who said: Labbaika Allahumma labbaik, labbaika la sharika laka labbaik. Innal-hamda wan- ni’mata laka, wal-mulk. La sharika laka (Here I am, O Allah, here I am. Here I am, You have no partner, here I am. Verily all praise and blessings are Yours, and all sovereignty, You have no partner).” He said: “And Ibn ‘Umar used to add: Labbaika labbaika labbaika wa sa’daika wal-khairu fi yadaika, labbaika war-raghba’u ilaika wal-‘amal (Here I am, here I am, here I am, and at Your service; all good is in Your Hands, here I am, seeking Your pleasure and striving for Your sake).”

Tafsir Ibn Kathir: Surah Al-Ra’d Ayah 16
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
13:16 Say: "Who is the Lord of the heavens and the earth!'' Say: "(It is) Allah.''
Say: "Have you then taken (for worship) Awliya' (protectors) other than Him, such as have no power either for benefit or for harm to themselves!''
Say: "Is the blind equal to the one who sees Or darkness equal to light Or do they assign to Allah partners who created the like of His creation, so that the creation seemed alike to them!''
Say: "Allah is the Creator of all things; and He is the One, the Irresistible.''
Affirming Tawhid
Allah says:
Say: "Who is the Lord of the heavens and the earth!''
Say: "(It is) Allah.''
Say: "Have you then taken (for worship) Awliya' (protectors) other than Him, such as have no power either for benefit or for harm to themselves!''
Allah affirms here that there is no deity worthy of worship except Him, since they admit that He alone created the heavens and the earth and that He is their Lord and the Disposer of all affairs. Yet, they take as lords others besides Allah and worship them, even though these false gods do not have the power to benefit or harm themselves, or those who worship them.
Therefore, the polytheists will not benefit or have harm removed from them by these false deities.
Are those who worship the false deities instead of Allah equal to those who worship Him alone, without partners, and thus have a light from their Lord.
This is why Allah said here,
Say:
"Is the blind equal to the one who sees! Or darkness equal to light!
Or do they assign to Allah partners who created the like of His creation, so that the creations seemed alike to them!''
Allah asks, `Do these polytheists worship gods besides Him that rival Him in what He created!
Have their false deities created similar creations to those Allah created and, thus, they are confused between the two types of creations, not knowing which was created by others besides Allah!'
Rather, the Ayah proves that the truth is nothing like this. There is none similar to Allah, nor does He have an equal, a rival, anyone like Him, a minister, a son, or a wife. Allah is glorified in that He is far away from all that is ascribed to Him.
These idolators worship gods that they themselves admit were created by Allah and are subservient to Him. They used to say during their Talbiyah: "Here we rush to Your obedience. There is no partner for You, except Your partner, You own him and he owns not.''
Allah also mentioned their polytheistic statements in other Ayat,
We worship them only that they may bring us near to Allah. (39:3)
Allah admonished them for this false creed, stating that only those whom He chooses are allowed to intercede with Him,
Intercession with Him profits not except for him whom He permits. (34:23)
And there are many angels in the heavens.....(53:26)
and,
There is none in the heavens and the earth but comes unto the Most Gracious (Allah) as a servant. Verily, He knows each one of them, and has counted them a full counting. And everyone of them will come to Him alone on the Day of Resurrection. )19:93-95(
If all are Allah's servants, then why do any of them worships each other without proof or evidence that allows them to do so Rather, they rely on sheer opinion and innovation in the religion, even though Allah has sent all of His Prophets and Messengers, from beginning to end, prohibiting this practice (polytheism) and ordering them to refrain from worshipping others besides Allah. They defied their Messengers and rebelled against them, and this is why the word of punishment struck them as a worthy recompense,
And your Lord treats no one with injustice. )18:49(
Allah's statement,
Say: "Allah is the Creator of all things; and He is the One, the Irresistible.''

The Life of The Prophet Muhammad(pbuh): The Battle of Tabuk and Afterwards
Hajj is Rendered Fard
Hajj, which is one of the five pillars of Islam, was rendered fard in the 9th year of the Migration.
“The first House (of worship) appointed for men was that at Bakka: full of blessing and of guidance for all kinds of beings:
In it are signs manifest; (for example), the Station of Abraham; whoever enters it attains security; pilgrimage thereto is a duty men owe to God―those who can afford the journey; but if any deny faith; God stands not in need of any of His creatures.” The Messenger of God recited a sermon to the Muslims when the verses above were sent down in the 9th year of the Migration and informed them about this fard as follows:
“O people! Hajj was rendered fard for you; perform hajj.”
When the Companions heard this sermon, they asked, “O Messenger of God! Is it fard every year?”
The Prophet kept silent; he did not answer.
When the same question was repeated for the third time, the Prophet said, “No, not every year. If I had answered your question as ‘Yes’, it would have been fard for you every year and you would not have been able to do it.”
The Prophet also taught the Companions the following regarding asking the same questions repeatedly.
“When I leave you as you are without proposing you anything, you leave me as I am. The nations before you were destroyed because of asking too many questions and opposing their prophets. Therefore, when I order you to do something, do it as much as you can; when I prohibit you from doing something, abandon it.”
The Prophet stated the following in another hadith:
“Islam has been built upon five things – testifying that there is no god save God, and that Muhammad is His Messenger; performing salah; giving zakah; performing hajj and fasting during Ramadan.”
The Prophet Postpones the Hajj He has Intended
When Hajj was rendered fard, the Prophet wanted to perform hajj. However, he later postponed it by saying, “The polytheists will be in the Kaaba and circumambulate it naked. I do not want to perform hajj unless this situation is eliminated.”
Indeed, the polytheists used to circumambulate the Kaaba naked at night, men and women together; they regarded it as respect to the Kaaba.
Hazrat Abu Bakr is Appointed as the Leader for Hajj
When the Messenger of God decided not to go to hajj, he appointed Hazrat Abu Bakr as the leader for hajj in the 9th year of the Migration so that he would lead hajj and show the Muslims how to perform hajj.
Hazrat Abu Bakr set off for hajj with three hundred Muslims from Madinah; when he arrived in Dhul-Hulayfa, the place of ihram for Madinans, he entered ihram and uttered talbiyah: “Labbayk! “Labbayk! Allahumma Labbayk! Labbayka la sharika Laka Labbayk! Innal hamda wan’nimata laka wa’l-mulka la sharika laka.” (Here I am, O God, here I am. Here I am, You have no partner, here I am. Verily all praise and blessings are Yours, and all sovereignty, You have no partner.)
Hazrat Ali is Sent After them
A short while after the first hajj caravan of Islam left Madinah, the chapter of Baraa (at-Tawba) was sent down. The Companions said, “O Messenger of God! Will you send this chapter to Abu Bakr so that he will inform people about it.”
The Prophet said, “This declaration has to be made by me or someone from my household.”
According to the customs and traditions of Arabs, a treaty could be signed or annulled only by the leader of the tribe or one of his relatives.
Hazrat Ali was closer to the Prophet in terms of kinship. Therefore, the Messenger of God summoned Hazrat Ali and said, “Take this beginning part of the chapter Baraa.” Then, he said,
“When people gather in Mina on the day of sacrificing animals, call out loudly: No unbeliever can enter Paradise. After this year, no polytheist can perform hajj. Nobody will circumambulate the Kaaba naked. If anyone has a treaty with the Messenger of God, it will be valid until it ends; the treaties that have no periods of time will be valid for four months only from now on.”
Hazrat Ali wanted to find out why the Prophet wanted to send him.  He said,
“O Messenger of God! I am not old and I am not an orator.”
The Prophet said, “Either I or you will go. However, you will go. God will definitely strengthen your tongue and heart.”
Thereupon, Hazrat Ali set off from Madinah immediately. He went together with Abu Hurayra. They caught up with Hazrat  Abu Bakr.
Hazrat Abu Bakr asked him, “Are you the leader or an official”
Hazrat Ali said, “I am an official.” He explained the reason why he came as follows: “The Messenger of God (pbuh) sent me so that I will recite the people the chapter of Baraa and tell the people of the treaty that the treaties will be valid.”
Arriving in Makkah
The first hajj caravan led by Hazrat Abu Bakr arrived in  Makkah safely. Hazrat Abu Bakr recited a sermon. He told people how to perform hajj.
When Hazrat Abu Bakr finished his sermon, Hazrat Ali stood up and said,  “O people! I am the envoy of the Messenger of God.” Then, he recited the first thirty or forty verses of the chapter of Baraa (at-Tawba).
The first six verses of this chapter is as follows:
“A (declaration) of immunity from God and His Messenger to those of the pagans with whom ye have contracted mutual alliances.―
Go ye, then for four months, backwards and forwards, (as ye will), throughout the land, but know ye that ye cannot frustrate God (by your falsehood) but that God will cover with shame those who reject Him.
And an announcement from God and His Messenger, to the people (assembled) on the day of the Great Pilgrimage― that God and His Messenger dissolve (treaty) obligations with the pagans. If, then ye repent, it were best for you; but if ye turn away know ye that ye cannot frustrate God. And proclaim a grievous penalty to those who reject Faith.
(But the treaties are) not dissolved with those pagans with whom Ye have entered into alliance and who have not subsequently failed you in aught, nor aided anyone against you. So fulfill your engagements with them to the end of their term: for God loveth the righteous.
But when the forbidden months are past, then fight and slay the pagans wherever ye find them, and seize them, beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them in every stratagem (of war); but if they repent, and establish regular prayers and practice regular charity, then open the way for them: for God is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. If one amongst the pagans ask thee for asylum, grant it to him, so that he may hear the word of God; and then escort him to where he can be secure: That is because they are men without knowledge.”
Then, Hazrat Ali said, “I am ordered to tell you four things.” Then, he informed the people about what he was ordered: “No unbeliever can enter Paradise. After this year, no polytheist can perform hajj. Nobody will circumambulate the Kaaba naked. If anyone has a treaty with the Messenger of God, it will be valid until it ends; the treaties that have no periods of time will be valid for four months only from now on. After that, there is no treaty or protection for any polytheists.”
Along with Hazrat Ali, Abu Hurayra sometimes declared the issues mentioned above loudly to the people.
After completing hajj, Hazrat Abu Bakr, Hazrat Ali and the Companions who were together with them returned to Madinah.

Umrah Duas – A Guide to Umrah {Package} Duas
Many pilgrims carry little booklets and chant specific du'as for every circle of the tawaf and sa’ee when they go for Umrah via All Inclusive Umrah Packages. Unlike popular perception, every round of these ceremonies does not have a specific du'a attached to it.
"In tawaf, there is no particular dhikr that was told from the Prophet (PBUH), that he ⷺ either enjoined, said, or taught," claims Shaikh ul Islam Ibn Taymiyyah. Instead, the believer may offer any du'a from the Qur'an and Sunnah while performing tawaf. There is no evidence for the precise du'a that many individuals mention saying should be recited beneath mizabs (downspouts) and similar objects. (Al-Fatawa, Majmu' 26/122)
Notwithstanding, the Prophet (PBUH) made prayers several times throughout Umrah, giving us examples to follow. Here is not an entire list of du'as from the Qur'an and Sunnah; you are free to make any kind of du'a during Umrah, including private ones for loved ones. Furthermore, you are not obliged to repeat your prayers only in Arabic. It is important to comprehend the significance of the du'as you recite rather than just reciting them.
Hopefully, the following list will act as a useful guide and enhance the significance of your Umrah experience. However, the following list of duas that the Prophet Muhammad PBUH prayed at different times and that one can recite during umrah
Tumblr media
When you set out on your journey, say a dua?
To enter the holy areas of Makkah, one must first prepare spiritually. It is advised to recite the Du'a al-Safar before departing the house to ask Allah for protection, direction, and support on your journey.
Prayer for the initial glimpse of Kabba
According to reports, the Prophet (SAW) offered some prayers when he first saw the Kaaba:
Saying the dua before entering Haram
Reciting the Tasbeeh, Tahleel, and Takbeer prayers is advised. It is advised to chant Tasbeeh, or Subhan Allah, before entering ihram (glory be to Allah). Takbeer, or Allahu Akbar (Allah is Most Great), and Tahleel, or La ilaha ill Allah (there is no creator except Allah). Bring the right foot first as you reach Masjid Al-Haram to conduct Umrah and say the following dua:
Du'a for Declaring Your Intent to Perform Umrah
After entering the Ihram state, recite two Sunnat-ul Ihram rakahs. Next, state some Arabic or translation words that you intend to conduct Umrah:
Recite the Talbiyah after Ihram
Start reciting the Talbiyah as soon as entering Ihram for the Hajj or Umrah. You should recite the Talbiyah as often as you can while traveling. It is advised to read it in every situation, whether you are standing, sitting, walking, driving, lying down, experiencing small or severe impurities, or going through menstruation. Umrah travelers should stop right before the start of the Umrah Tawaf. Three or more Talbiyahs should be performed, according to advice.
Given how frequently it is recited, you must comprehend its deep significance to deepen our relationship with Allah SWT. Insha'Allah, this will add a lovely richness to our dialogue with Him. As you approach Masjid Al Haram, say the du'a. Recite du'a and put the right foot first as you visit Masjid Al Haram to undertake Umrah.
Saying the Tawaaf dua
The term "tawaf" describes the act of walking counterclockwise in rounds around the Kaaba. One tawaf consists of seven complete rounds, each starting and finishing at the Hajar al Aswad (The Black Stone). Read dua when you face the black stone to make the purpose of the tawaf.
The Prophet PBUH would recite the dua when He (SAW) passed in front of the black stone and the Yemeni corner.
The sunnah is to proceed to Maqam-e-Ibrahim after performing the tawaf, pray two quick rak'ahs behind it, and then stand up right away after reciting the tasleem to make place for others, especially for those who wish to offer the two rak'ahs after tawaf. You need to say Dua while sipping Zamzam.
Praying for Sa'ii
Sa'ii is traversing the two hills, Safa and Marwah, seven times back and forth. When you ascend the Safa Mountain for the first time, you can say the following phrase from the Holy Qur'an:
Saying the Dua as you exit the Masjid-al-Haram
As you exit Masjid Al Haram after this lovely trip, you may read du'a.
Halaq
Pilgrims must shave or clip their hair after the Saeeh (Halaq or Qasar) within the Haram.
If not shaven, the hair should be clipped to a minimum of one inch or more.
For shorter hair than one inch, it must be shaved.
However, this isn't the preferable solution.
Women may create a ponytail and trim up to an inch from the bottom. They are not permitted to shave their head.
Conclusion
When you repeat du'as, keep in mind the purpose of your journey: to seek Allah SWT's blessings and mercy for all of humanity as well as the fulfillment of our own particular prayers. Hopefully, your Umrah journey reflects the principles of Islam and brings you spiritual growth, harmony, and tranquility. Get ready to embark on the sacred journey by selecting the finest December Umrah packages from New York available to you.

Madinah, kota yang kuimpikan.
Tumblr media
Subuh itu kami mendarat di Madinah.
Deras airmata ini memandangi Matahari mulai terbit dilangit Madinah. Indah bukan main. Tauhid.
Bumi Madinah menjadi berkah. Bumi Madinah menjadi tonggak peradaban kemanusiaan dimulai. Negera islam dibangun. Para sahabat di didik. Perempuan dimuliakan.
Assalamualaika ya Rasulullah, Assalamualaika Nabiyallah, Assalamualaika ya Habiballah.
Lirih luruh runtuh seketika rasanya.

Safar Story bulan Syawal 2023

TALBIYAH ☝️🏻
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:
"There is no muslim who says the talbiyah except that - on his right and left, until the end of the land, from here to there - the rocks, or trees, or mud say the talbiyah."
📚: Tirmidhi 828 | Hasan
« لَبَّيْكَ اللَّهُمَّ لَبَّيْكَ، لَبَّيْكَ لاَ شَرِيكَ لَكَ لَبَّيْكَ، إِنَّ الْحَمْدَ وَالنِّعْمَةَ لَكَ وَالْمُلْكَ، لاَ شَرِيكَ لَكَ‏ »
"Here I am, Oh Allah, here I am. Here I am, You have no partner, here I am. Verily all praise and blessings are Yours, and all dominion belongs to You, You have no partner."

Hajj Rules & Rituals that Highlight the Significance of the Muslim Pilgrimage to Mecca
The annual Pilgrimage to Makkah that all eligible Muslims must complete at least once in their lifetime is known as Hajj. Every year around 2 million Muslims undertake this five-day event of Hajj.
Significance of Hajj
Hajj falls in the last month of the Islamic calendar. Being one of the Five Pillars of Islam and it is a sacred event. It is a devoir that should be performed by all able Muslims once in their lives. This holy journey also gives an opportunity to Muslims to wipe away any sins and wipe the slate clean in front of Allah (SWT).
Muslims follow the path as established by the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and prophets Ibrahim (AS). The path of running to and fro as done by the wife of Ibrahim (AS), who ran seven times between two hills to seek water for her dying son is still followed by the Muslims. Also, the spring created by Allah continues to run to this very day. The holy journey is also a way for Muslims to deepen their devotion to Allah (SWT).
Hajj Rituals
Hajj is performed by Muslims during the last month of the Islamic calendar, Dhul Hijjah.  The month begins two days before Eid ul-Adha and through the three-day festival of the sacrifice. Hence, the duration of the Hajj lasts five days.
Day 1- It is on the 8th day of Dhul Hijjah the holy pilgrim of Hajj begins. Firstly, the pilgrim is required to enter the state of Ihram or perform the ritual of purity. After walking to Mina pilgrims spend the day making Salah, listening to lectures, and reciting Talbiyah.
Day2- Pilgrims head towards Mount Arafah, marking the Day of Arafat. This is a significant ritual as it is believed that Prophet Muhammad gave his final sermon on Mount Arafah.
Day3- This day is called the Yawm al-Nahr, or the Day of Sacrifice. Pilgrims on this day participate in the rituals of pelting pebbles at one of the Jamarat, as well as sacrificing animals. However, the rest of the Muslims across the globe observe it as the first day of Eid.
Day4 and Day 5- These days are known as “Ayyam al-tashreeq”, or drying meat. According to Islamic traditions, during the time of the Prophet (SAW), pilgrims would preserve the meat of sacrifice by drying them under the sun and seasoning it to prevent it from rotting. Pilgrims are required to repeat two more rami rituals before returning to Mina.
Day6- On completion of the above rituals, before departing Makkah the pilgrims are required to perform obligatory rituals of tawaf al-ifadh (the farewell tawaf) and sa’i. Then followed by two rakats and drinking the zam zam water.
 Hajj Rules
There are many rules and regulations laid by the Saudi government for aspiring pilgrims. Some of these are:
1)It is mandatory to carry vaccination certificates.
2)No food items are allowed in the country.
3)Last day of entry to the King Abdulaziz Airport in Jeddah for Hajj is permitted on 4 Dhu'l-Hijjah of each year.
4)In case of loss of passport the pilgrims should immediately report the loss to the office appointed.
5)As per the rules and regulations of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia all pilgrims should leave the country by the 10th of Muharram each year. Rules forbid staying in the country post it.
Hence, Hajj is an Islamic duty that all able Muslims are required to perform. According to Holy Quran, Allah (SWT) commands its followers to visit Makkah and complete it. The rituals of Hajj date back to 2000BCE and were all associated with significant events. The main objective of performing the holy journey is to strengthen faith in Allah and seek his forgiveness.

It's a trip journey. (pt.3)
Never in my life, I bravely imagine this kind of journey happened.
I am that poor sinner; not rich; not even a well-performed prayer.
Tak berselang lama, kami kemudian menuju Masjidil Haram.
Mamah memang membawa handphone setiap bepergian.
Disitu perasaan semakin campur aduk, semakin panik, semakin bingung.
"Ini banyak banget orang asing wey, kalau Mamah dijahatin gimana yahhh?? Kalau beliau nggak bisa komunikasi sama orang asing gimana yaaa?!?!!" dannnnn semua pikiran-pikiran lain terlintas di kepala.
Sampe beberapa menit kemudian, saat gue masih duduk dan kepikiran akan nasib Ibunda Ratu, ada yang nyolek pinggang dari belakang.
Yes, there was my mom sitting right behind my shaf.
MashaAllah.
Sampe sekarang merindingnya tuh yaaa, masih adaaaaa...

Dhikr
Tumblr media

What Is Unrah?
— Mariam Amini | Islamic Cannel Tv | Friday 26, 2024
Tumblr media
Umrah - one of the holiest experiences a Muslim can undertake, but what exactly does the pilgrimage look like? Here’s everything you need to know about the process, the benefits and the time of year most believers choose to go.
What is Umrah?
Umrah is an Islamic pilgrimage taking place in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. Every year, millions of Muslims travel to the holy city, home to the holy Kaaba or House of God.
The trip is more a spiritual journey than it is a physical one, with devotees expressing love and gratitude, whilst hoping to strengthen their connection to Allah SWT.
When Does Umrah Take Place?
One should note that there are technically two types of Umrah. The first is Umrah al Tammatu, which is an obligatory ritual performed just before Hajj.
The second, Umrah al Mufradah, can take place at any point throughout the year. It is also more affordable and takes less time to complete.
The rest of this article will focus on this form of Umrah, which unlike the Hajj pilgrimage is entirely voluntary. There is also no limit to the number of times one can partake.
Most Muslims choose to perform Umrah in Ramadan, believing there is higher mercy and acceptance of prayers. In fact, there’s even a Hadith comparing the benefits of Umrah al Mufradah in the holy month to those of the Hajj pilgrimage.

The History of Umrah
Historically, the very first Umrah was the pilgrimage made by the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) when he led the migration of Muslims from Madinah.
Since then, believers of the faith have followed in his footsteps. Nowadays, you see men and women of all backgrounds come together, regardless of ethnicity, culture or social class.
As for the word itself, it means “to visit a populated place” in Arabic. So what exactly does the pilgrimage consist of? And what are its associated benefits and rewards?
Umrah Rituals: Ihram
Umrah rituals are divided into three pillars. The first is Ihram, a sacred state in which Muslims must enter before reaching miqat, the principal boundary for the pilgrimage.
This is achieved through cleansing rituals upon reaching the miqat, alongside dressing in the prescribed attire, declaring their Ihram intention and reciting the Talbiyah prayer.
This is typically repeated until reaching the holy Kaaba. Upon arrival to the House of God, one should approach the Black Stone with the utterance of Takbir (Allahu Akbar).

Umrah Rituals: Tawaf
The Tawaf stage involves circling around the Kaaba seven times. Upon passing the Black Stone each time, one should honour it through kissing or pointing to it if from afar.
During each rotation, there is also a supplication dua that should be recited. Once complete, pilgrims pray two rakats, ending the seventh round exactly where they began.
Umrah Rituals: Sa’i
Next comes Sa’i, a practice that involves walking between the summits of the Safa and Marwa hills. This, too, is performed seven times.
The distance between the two is approximately 450 metres. During each ascent and descent, worshippers should recite duas or supplication.
In order to complete this stage of Umrah, male pilgrims must either shave or shorten their hair. Women must cut their hair by at least half.
Umrah Rewards
The Umrah pilgrimage grants spiritual, physical and psychological rewards.
Alongside repentance from sins and essentially a moral reset, it is believed to remove poverty from one's life.
“Aim to go for Umrah as much as possible,” says Sheikh Dr Yasir Qadhi during one of his khutbahs. “Spend for the sake of Allah (SWT) and Allah (SWT) will give back.”
Alongside renewed faith and connection with The Almighty, a sense of inner fulfilment is achieved. It’s “the way the soul feels, and the peace and accomplishment it demonstrates.”
Qadhi also touches on the bodily benefits of Umrah: “We all feel that boost, that energy recharge when we go to Makkah. We thank Allah that he has given us blessed times and blessed places to charge our batteries.”
One final underrated benefit is the power of unity. Indeed, our sense of community is heightened when surrounded by the Ummah. Only during Hajj or Umrah can one appreciate the true diversity of our Muslim collective.

Umrah-Related Trends
It’s becoming increasingly common for worshippers to make the most of their time in the Kingdom, by spending additional time in other Saudi cities post-pilgrimage.
Madinah and Jeddah are two of the most popular destinations, but Abha and Al Ula also get their fair share of footfall.
This aligns with Saudi Arabia’s economic intentions. Indeed, expanding the tourism sector is a key objective. If recent stats are anything to go by, they definitely seem on track.
Allowing pilgrims to partake in Umrah on any visa has certainly helped, but some take their explorations even further, by rerouting to Jordan, Oman or Qatar before the journey home.
In recent years, innovations in pilgrimage services have greatly enhanced the Umrah experience.
A prime example is Mohammed Bin Mahfouz's venture, Umrahme, which is pioneering the future of pilgrimage.
As highlighted in Destination KSA, Umrahme leverages technology to streamline the process, making it more accessible and enriching for pilgrims.
Tumblr media
This digital transformation not only simplifies the logistical aspects of Umrah but also aligns with Saudi Arabia’s vision of expanding its tourism sector, encouraging pilgrims to explore the country's rich history and culture beyond Makkah.
As pilgrims embrace these advancements, Umrah continues to evolve, offering a blend of timeless spiritual fulfilment and modern convenience.
“We ensure that while technological advancements streamline processes, the spiritual and traditional aspects of the pilgrimage remain revered and respected,” assures Bin Mahfouz.
Overall, the holy process of Umrah takes just a few hours, but its effects have the potential to last a lifetime.
It’s considered to be one of the best deeds a Muslim can perform. When combined with pure intention, it can lead to life-changing lessons and compoundingly profound rewards.

Tafsir Ibn Kathir: Surah Al-Nahl Ayah 71
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
16:71 And Allah honored some of you over others with wealth and properties. Then, those who are so honored will by no means hand over their wealth and properties to those (captives of war) whom their right hands possess, so that they may be equal with them in that. Do they then deny the favor of Allah!
There is a Sign and a Blessing in Matters of People's Livelihood
Allah says,
And Allah honored some of you over others with wealth and properties. Then, those who are so honored will by no means hand over their wealth and properties to those (captives of war) whom their right hands possess, so that they may be equal with them in that.
Allah explains to the idolators the ignorance and disbelief involved in their claim that Allah has partners while also admitting that these partners are His servants. In their Talbiyah for Hajj, they used to say, "Here I am, there are no partners for You except Your own partner, You own him and everything he owns.''
Allah says, denouncing them: `You would not accept for your servant to have an equal share in your wealth, so how is it that Allah would accept His servant to be His equal in divinity and glory As Allah says elsewhere:
He sets forth a parable for you from yourselves: Do you have partners among those whom your right hands possess (i.e. your servant) to share as equals in the wealth We have granted you, those whom you fear as you fear each other! )30:28(
Al-Awfi reported that Ibn Abbas mentioned this Ayah, saying,
"Allah is saying - `If they did not want their servant to have a share with them in their wealth and wives, how can My servant have a share with Me in My power!'
Thus Allah says:
Do they then deny the favor of Allah! According to another report, Ibn Abbas said:
"How can they accept for Me that which they do not accept for themselves!''
Do they then deny the favor of Allah!
meaning, they assign to Allah a share of the tilth and cattle which He has created. They denied His blessings and associated others in worship with Him.
Al-Hasan Al-Basri said:
"Umar bin Al-Khattab wrote this letter to Abu Musa Al-Ash`ari:
`Be content with your provision in this world, for the Most Merciful has honored some of His servants over others in terms of provision as a test of both. The one who has been given plenty is being tested to see if he will give thanks to Allah and fulfill the duties which are his by virtue of his wealth...'''
It was reported by Ibn Abi Hatim.

The Life of The Prophet Muhammad(pbuh): Farewell Hajj and the Death of the Prophet (pbuh)
Farewell Hajj
(10th Year of the Migration, the month of Dhul-Hijjah  / AD 632, March)
It was the 10th year of the Migration, the month of Dhul-Qada.
The Messenger of God made preparations for hajj. He also ordered the Muslims in Madinah to make preparations for hajj. In addition, he sent Madinah.
Upon this news, thousands of Muslims who wanted go to hajj started to flood into Madinah. Soon, Madinah was full of the light of Islam and luminous faces. Tents were set up around Madinah.
Muslims were experiencing a unique atmosphere of a festival and the Messenger of God was praising and thanking God Almighty in the peace and happiness of seeing the magnificent result of the great cause that he conveyed to people.
Leaving Madinah
There were five days left for the end of the month of Dhul-Qada. It was Saturday.
The Messenger of God appointed Abu Dujana as-Saidi as his deputy in  Madinah. He had a bath in his house. He wore some nice perfume and put on new clothes. He left his house toward noon and went to the mosque. He led the noon prayer.
The Prophet set off from Madinah with more than one hundred thousand Muslims who surrounded him like luminous circles and reached Dhul-Hulayfa. He spent the night there with his great congregation.
The next day, he performed the noon prayer and entered ihram there. Then, he headed toward Makkah with his Companions, each of whom is a star of the humanity.
The Messenger of God was on his camel, Qasva. More than one hundred thousand Companions were like planets that did not lose their orbits around the spiritual sun. They uttered talbiyah: “Labbayk! “Labbayk! Allahumma labbayk! Labbayka la sharika laka Llabbayk! Innal hamda wan’nimata laka wa’l-mulka la sharika laka.” (Here I am, O God, here I am. Here I am, You have no partner, here I am. Verily all praise and blessings are Yours, and all sovereignty, You have no partner.)
It was as if the earth was like a single mouth and repeating the same “talbiyah” with hundreds of thousands of tongues. The earth and the sky were virtually sharing the joy and the excitement of the Messenger of God and his Companions.
Arriving in Makkah
It was Monday, the fourth of the month of Dhul-Hijjah, early in the morning.
The Messenger of God entered Makkah from the upper part of the city called Thaniyyatu’u-Kada with more than one hundred thousand Muslims. When he saw the magnificent Kaaba, the Prophet prayed as follows: “O my Lord! Increase the magnificence, honor and grandeur of this magnificent Kaaba.
Then, the Prophet reached Baytullah. He made istilam toHajaru’l-Aswad and started to circumambulate the Kaaba from that corner. During the first three laps of the circumambulation, he took short steps and jerked his shoulders, walking fast and pompously; he walked slowly during the remaining four laps of the circumambulation.
After completing the circumambulation by walking around the Kaaba seven times, he went to the Station of Ibrahim. He performed a prayer of two rak’ahs there. Then, he made istilam to Hajaru’l-Aswad again. Meanwhile, he said to Hazrat Umar, “O Umar! You are strong. Do not shoulder others in order to touch Hajaru’l-Aswad. Do not disturb people especially weak ones. If there are not many people around, touch it. If it is very crowded, greet and kiss it from a distance with your hands; utter, ‘La ilaha illalah and Allahu akbar’.”
The Prophet Performs Sa’y
The Messenger of God went up to Safa Hill after that. He praised and thanked God Almighty there. Then, he came down and performed sa’y between Safa and Marwa seven times.
Going to Mina
After staying in Makkah on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, the Messenger of God went to Mina on Thursday. He performed the noon, afternoon, evening and night prayers there in congregation. He spent the night there. On Friday, the ninth of Dhul-Hijjah, he set off from Minah after performing the morning prayer and headed toward Arafat.
The earth and the sky were resounding with the talbiyahs uttered by the Companions.
