“I… I…” Emma stutters. “I’m afraid of heights.”

Bowie sighs and nods. “I get it. Me too.”

Emma’s eyes widen. “Really?” She looks at him. “But you’re so… Like, you know…” She shrugs. “Bowie?”

Bowie chuckles. “What is that supposed to mean?”

“Like… you know, you’re so well-prepared and stuff. I would think you’re not afraid of the first ever Total Drama Island challenge.”

“We all have fears, Emma. And I think mine being deadly heights and man-eating sharks is valid.”

Emma looks at him.

“Should we jump together?”

Bowie smiles and offers her his hand.

“If that makes it easier.”
