day 109 (week 15) update on t

so lad-passing that i'm more comfortable using the men's room bc i'll legit get weird looks if i use the lady's. even though honestly i'd rather use the latter bc they're a lot cleaner 😭 that being said i still try to use single self-contained facilities whenever possible

facial hair is growing in a little where i already had some (light) hair before! so upper lip, sides of my face. not hugely noticeable unless you're up close but it's still like woag.. also i can see baby hairs forming just under my lip, and my chin.. think it might be time to invest in a razor

every time i get into a call with someone even after a week they're like "woahhhh your voice 🥰" hehe

significantly less tired and hungry than i was when i first started t. like i'm still relatively more tired and hungry than i was before i started, but i feel like i can actually function now without needing to sleep for 12 hrs & eat every 2hrs. it's a lot easier for me to take naps now too

also i FINALLY sorted out the bloods with my gp so i can stop worrying bc it was stressing me the hell out. trying to get them to take over the hrt prescriptions is still ongoing but i think we might be getting somewhere ahhh

so i now have to live off £25 a week, and heres a summary of what i have to spend with that when i go back to college:

3x £4.80 for travel, if i ONLY go to college or go out on college days

3x £2.99 - £6.99 for food on college days

as much as £10 for food to have at home & drinks to take to college

on an average week, i'd be spending between £23.37 (if i dont buy drinks or anything for the rest of the week. unrealistic) and £45.37 if i bought everything i need (but noninclusive of other days out).

now, i'm not good at math, but £45.37 is more than £25.

and even going on bare minimum, i still have to pay monthly costs totalling at least £12.02. i have a debit card so i CANNOT be overdrawn.

this means i need at absolute least £105 a month (1 month = 4wks).

i get £100 a month from the £25 a week. sure. you might think "the difference is only £5!" but like... thats the ABSOLUTE minimum, as in based off of the £23.37 a week total. i cannot afford to lose that £5.

it's going very well, thank you for asking!! it's been nearly 3 months on a low dose now & my body has taken to it well. hungry, sleepy, growing 🥹

the administration part of this whole process & communication with my gp has been a nightmare, but everything else has been going well & i'm happy! 🪴

T 3 months 1 week

I know I’m worrying for nothing and it’s probably just the dysphoria speaking but my voice has dropped A LOT already (apps read 90hz) and I still feel like I have the “trans voice” and the worst part is that I automatically make my voice go higher at work since I’m not completely out yet and I feel like this is ruining everything. I am so worried. I already do resonance training. The pitch is quite low already but I still sound trans. I am not sure if I pass.

so, my etsy listings expired but i never had any sales, and i refuse to relist the items on there.

- 5 handmade "popsocket" type phone grips

- unfinished chokers/bracelets

- some small charms

- the supplies i used to make the above

and im willing to sell it all just to get some money.

The popsockets have to be sent in a bubblemailer, but the charms & chokers can be sent in an envelope.
