he can barely take care of himself please do not make him responsible for an animal he would take even worse care of himself. i think he would love a bird or a cat persnaps. definitely feeds strays on the streets

oh english/literature for sure. it still is now, he is a big reader. of course bard college of eloquence kind of requires the interest, it's all very natural for him. very very smart in that realm.
wait um. he was kicked out at 13 so he's probably more self taught on all this but it still stands. my little bookworm.
🤔 THINKING FACE — what are some of your oc's quirks/mannerisms?
rubbing the bridge of his nose when speaking while nervous, always clasping hands in front of or behind him, adjusting his sunglasses, pulling at the edge of his sleeves, poking his little fangs with his tongue, pressing his tongue against his little tooth gap, scratching hard things gently
😓 DOWNCAST FACE WITH SWEAT — is your oc open-minded or stubborn? are they inquisitive or do they prefer to keep to their bubble of knowledge?
i would say he's more on the open minded side but i think he can be stubborn at times. he's extremely inquisitive, likes learning about all kinds of things. he's an extreme masker, AUTISM, so he has to keep his excitement down at times when it's things that really intrigue him. if its somehow information about vampires, he has to brush it off like he doesn't think it's real but will entertain it. meanwhile he's like please god tell me more.
🍰 SHORTCAKE — what is/are your oc's favorite sweet(s)/dessert(s)?
oh my lovely boy with a sweet tooth. definitely a fruit guy so if it has fruit in it he probably adores it. loves cake and whatever else shit they had in victorian london. i think he ever so slightly prefers candies or smaller sweets to bigger things though.
💛 YELLOW HEART — how many languages does your oc speak? what language(s) are they learning, if any?
in D&D terms he has abysmal, as well as english. i think he is actively learning french, spanish, and maybe german? sometimes i think he worries about the prospect of living for a long time despite only being 23 years young so he's trying to get ahead of it. he's very anxious about it all.

I think I love Fearne so much because like... every other CR character is basically what it says on the tin.
The cleric following a goddess of light is generally a cute moral compass for the group, the fallen angel is dealing with guilt and complicated religious feelings, the Wizard covered in scars is a Sad Nerd™️, the one who grew up learning from a boat Captain is a natural leader, etc. Like with the exception of major plot twists, even in later campaigns, characters’ appearances are pretty indicative of their personalities.
And then you’ve got Fearne. She looks like a seven foot tall Disney Princess and she has a pet monkey made of fire and all she wants to do is commit crimes. Incredible.

he lives in the marsh baby you KNOW he can swim and he loves it. days where is is fishing that is literally all he is doing that day and he just loves it. likes to just jump in there see what happens.

unfortunately for everyone yes he does. literally anything you can think of in a dnd type world he knows how to use. he has a decent collection of knives and sharp shit, that's his favorite. otherwise he uses his hands.

eeeerm. well we just started this campaign so no attachments yet but. unfortunately. i think nothing. he doesn't really have any family and any friends he did have he doesn't speak to anymore, afraid of hurting them or being pushed away due to his scars. thomas was pretty important to him for you know saving his fucking life but he died.
as for a what he buried the teeth so not those anymore. maybe his glasses since they didn't break or that weird lighter he found. something to cling onto.
💚 GREEN HEART — does your oc prefer being inside or outside?
i think prior to the attack he was 100% an outdoors kinda guy. always out, rarely inside unless he's like sleeping or doing chores or something. i think after he spends a lot more time inside, especially at night. he used to be a bit nocturnal but due to his anxieties and general inability to sleep he spends nighttime inside.
🍝 SPAGHETTI — what is/are your oc's favorite food(s)?
shrimp alfredo babey. likes all kinds of seafood, that's basically like all he eats. fish and nothing else yummers!

what's not to love about johann? he's an oath of devotion turned oathbreaker turned oath of redemption paladin. he's the patron saint of angsty werewolves. he's an extremely uncool youth pastor. he's only 29 but he acts like a grandma. he's wet and pathetic. he's normal about tall women. he believes in the power of friendship (and solved most conflicts with it). he was even transgender.
(also, his werewolf form is like. huge and beefy. if you're into that sort of thing.)
