not always & not in a timely manner, but i read & reread them all <3

i don't think any of my fics qualify... addicted to happy endings...

literally all of them lmao! but i think after you/because of you might be the most well-earned of the happy endings. i put them Through It

no, and i hope i'm right in saying there's not any fic hate on mashblr - i've certainly never seen any!

i have dabbled here & there but wouldn't say i've made a habit of it

i mean... mashtrek hawkeye mpreg, so..........

no but there was a brief rewriting scandal. woof

i live in hope this will happen someday!

i've co-brainstormed and co-planned a bit but it's never come to fruition - at least not yet...

i mean, johnlock has the longevity, but beejhawk has completely taken over my brain for the last four years

well i WILL finish body parts so that doesn't count.

16. What are your writing strengths?

one time jones told me that the characters seem to be holding a lot in, and that continues to be one of the best compliments i've ever received. and i like to think it's true!

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

umm physical actions & like, a sense of space. i think i rely on the same set of actions over & over again :/

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?

my language skills are not at the level where i'd feel comfortable doing this without a beta - unless of course it was supposed to be broken

I have a ton of art wips rn I keep poking at, so here's a couple!

I showed a bit of this previously, but I am still working on this sheo!andy piece, I promise, it's just kicking my ass a bit LOL

also, here's a little piece from the next batch of chapters for THIKL i'm working on (ft. drals having a bad trip and empathising with inanimate objects, so TW for drugs)

He lowered his gaze. He watched the floorboards breath and deflate, hoping that they would just hurry up and swallow him. Would they, though? They seemed so gentle and friendly. He felt as if he knew their story. 

“Do you miss the forest?” he whispered, reverent.

Of course they did. He didn’t need them to reply.

“I miss my forest, too,” he said, nodding. “Sometimes. Not all the time. It was a nice place. But the other trees were pricks, I don’t miss them.”

The floorboards sighed. He considered his hometown, the old shrine and old bones. Did trees have a religion? Did they have stuffy tree priests and tree temples? Tree ordinators? Living tree gods?

The mug tilted absently in his hands as his mind wandered, and hot liquid spilled out onto the floor. He gasped, righting the mug, his eyes wide with guilt. He slid off the chair to kneel on the floor, placing the mug beside him. 

“I'm so sorry,” he muttered. “Did I burn you? Oh, no. Oh, dear.”

“Drals?” the floorboards said. “What's the matter?”

“I burnt you,” he sobbed, the guilt and sorrow becoming too much. “I made a mess. I always make a bloody mess, don't I?”

“Here, we can clean it up. It's alright,” they said. Hands joined him on the floor with a cloth, dabbing at the spilled tea. “Did you hurt yourself?”

“No,” he sniffled, raising his gaze. 

Drals stared at him. Colours danced in his eyes, greens and blacks and browns and golds. The creases around them were like crystalline insect wings, glittering and iridescent. He was so beautiful that Drals thought he might drown. He wanted to reach out and touch him, but worried that if he did, he might forever tarnish his beauty with unclean hands and ink-stained fingers.

“Do you want to stay on the floor?” Azandar asked, a tired smile on his handsome lips.

“Yeah,” Drals said pitifully.

hockey, esp seeing jd do cool stuff on the ice! if nosey were there, i'd be watching him too but i also really like seeing freddie and lauko! like obv i love everyone and i love their little quirks (seeing how fast jd is, how marchy is so tricky, how pasta puts all his control into moving so he falls pretty often at the end of it when he's not focusing as hard) but jd's my guy

mortal kombat 1, especially the ost and a lot of the characters! i'm not big on the plot (in terms of knowledge and preference, in general and the feature of alternate universes in this one) but i adore so many of the characters and their interactions! feeling v inspired rn to write bc of it

friendly advice from vetmed: I know that when your animal has an infection that is generating a lot of discharge, you want to describe that to the veterinarian, because it’s a concerning sign. that is true. I also know that the most common word for this type of discharge is “pus,” so it’s logical that that’s the word that you’ll use when describing what’s going on. and in English, we often add a “-y” when we’re using a word as a descriptor.
