Thinking back to the Loki finding Sylvie at McDonalds for the first time in s2 … I was SO curious how Mobius would react after his jealous fit over Sylvie in s1, and tbh on a first watch I was a bit disappointed, despite a proper double-take over the opposites attract line. I suppose I was primed for disappointment anyway, having assumed that for all the first ep was so much more than I’d hoped for, it would from here on invariably be pure Loki and Sylvie romance.

But now. The season having been That. Oh boy does the scene hit different!! Sure it’s not the blowout that is Mobius’ jealousy in s1; rather it’s transformed by now into a far more tragic resignation. He seems to have decided that if this is what will make Loki happy, he won’t stand in his way, but oh boy did I miss all the tells of how *hard* he is shoving all his emotions away to get there. The way he attaches himself to *Brad* rather than have anything to do with the reunion. The way he keeps yanking himself from his general air of grave heartbreak via strange outbursts at Brad, from going off at him before there’s any shred of evidence of double-dealing, to strangely enthusiastic assertions of how strange and cool life is. The way he tries to muster a grin when they see Sylvie really is there, and he, god of folksy cheer for all—can’t. The way he tries so hard not to watch Loki and Sylvie and to steer the conversation away from them, but his eyes get sort of stuck on them every time he glances their way.

And just. Above all. The way the season drives home over and again and again that the way Mobius deals with discomfort and emotions he doesn’t want to face is a). Comfort food, and b). Distract himself by talking to whoever is handy, even if the only folks available for talking are people he isn’t especially close to or friendly with. And going back to the scene with that in mind, well whaddya know, guess what our boy is up to !!!!!!

As a lover of how pettily obvious Mobius was in S1 with his jealousy I was also looking forward to seeing what his reaction to Loki and Sylvie meeting again would be, and like you had expected something almost equally as brash as the interrogation scene but it turned out what we got was as good if not better in so many ways 👀👀

The way he hangs back as Loki approaches her, trying to look as casually friendly and nonthreatening as possible before IMMEDIATELY bee lining to get some apple pie when we'd only just established the key lime been a major comfort of his at the TVA?? Babe we see you and we're here for you 😭

That alone already had me waiting to see what extremes he was about to go to but I wasn't prepared at all for how the forced cheer from eating his meal fell aside the second Brad brought up not understanding what was going on with Loki and Sylvie outside, then that hint of bitterness we rarely see in "they say opposites attract? No." What a line, and he's so clearly thinking of how easily he and Loki fit together in comparison that as he continues hearing about how weird Loki and Sylvie are you practically see the thoughts racing through his mind range from agreement to a momentary embarrassment he thought that at all, then resignation and finally defeat because if this is what Loki wants he'll support and be there for him just like always.

Cue his default reaction to push his own feelings out of existence in favor of everyone else's (especially Loki's) as he plasters his usual positivity and charm back on, taking Brad's attention away from the window and towards a change of subject he knows is guaranteed to work without coming across as suspicious because there's nothing Brad would enjoy talking about more than himself and of course Mobius is such a great analyst that it worked a bit too perfectly 😅

#so so real about the sheer awe of ep 1 then turning to resignation about what the rest of the season would entail and then - #being hit full force with the nonstop ongoing rush of every quality fanfic trope in existence through five more episodes #all while we were still catching our breath over mobius and loki gently holding and tenderly gazing at each other for like half and hour lo #apologies btw about the delayed reply as i LOVE this ask but had things come up over the weekend before i could reply properly #so thank you for sending it and i hope you're doing well!! lots of love towards an amazing week ahead 🥰💖 #ask

the situation with the RV sounds like a nightmare tbh, but it does open a door for some delulu discussion about, say, Olli and Allu both drawing the short straw and ending up with no bed for the night, so they're forced to sort of sit in some corner and cuddle under a blanket to try and make themselves at least a little more comfortable 🥺

hellooooo 💕💘💖💘 honestly yeah, it's fucked up that they had to tour in those conditions, but at the same knowing those fuckers, they would've said stuff like "remember those years back when we weren't famous? and slept seated in a smaller van? we can do this again, it will be worth it if we became known in the US market" or something like that

so these are the plans for the RV lol don't ask how I found them but trust the diagonal positioning of the sink 💀

I imagine them sitting opposite each other in that place labeled "dinette" (bottom right space next to the copilot's seats) trying to keep the other awake because they don't wanna fall asleep over the table (Allu has quite the Experience Working Until Late and doesn't want Olli to suffer as he does each morning when he wakes up in his studio)

they cannot talk because there are two other people sleeping in the sofa bed next to them, so they find another way of communicating, either by using whatsapp or through the notes app on their phones

then Allu takes quite the time to reply, maybe because he's remembering one meme that reminded him of Olli but now he can't find it, so when he looks back at Olli he's already asleep while sitting, with his head resting on his hand and that's a big no for him

so in a moment of 'fuck everything' Allu steps over the table and towards where Olli is, sitting next to him and pulling him into a "comfortable" position (where Allu is sitting with his back against the wall, and a sleepy Olli is sitting between Allu's legs) kinda like this?

Olli, of course, doesn't remember anything the next morning, and suddenly finds himself cuddling with Allu under a blanket 🥰💘💖 his heart is racing because this is one of the things he has been thinking about for a while, but he's afraid of waking up Allu and chooses to enjoy the moment to make it last longer

once they are waken up by their bandmates they don't speak about it, Allu too embarassed because he thinks he crossed a line, and Olli too busy remembering how Allu's hands felt wonderful resting on his tummy and how much he wants this to happen again and again and again

maybe someone in the band volunteers to do the soundcheck for them, just so that they can have a little nap and feel well rested before playing that night's show

Olli drags Allu back into the van, making a beeline for the bedroom, and once they're laying in bed he thanks Allu for keeping him comfortable last night, and apologizes for falling asleep 🥺🥺 Allu says that he would like to sleep next to Olli this time, cuddling again, and who is Olli to deny him such a simple request?

when they wake up, a few hours later, the first thing they see is each other and oops, maybe they realize that they have some Feelings for each other, so it's only natural for them to finally lean into a sweet kiss 💖

(or maybe Aleksi asks for a massage because his back hurts like hell and Olli gives him that and so much more, who knows 😏)

and well, for both Olli and Allu, it doesn't matter where they will have to sleep the next night, as long as it's next to each other 🥰💖💘

Hello there! I was just reading your gregstophe headcanon post & I love how Christophe is very confidant in the kitchen! I was doing a bit of cooking myself tonight & wondered: would Christophe be into gardening for food?

OOH this is such an interesting thought to explore, as I love both gardener Christophe and chef Christophe 👀💕!!

so, I do hesitate a bit to immediately say yes if only because I feel Christophe doesn’t really eat a ton of veggies 😅 French cooking is a cuisine with a lot of heavy ingredients like meats and dairy and whatnot… there are lots of herbs involved though and I think it’d make sense that Christophe would always use fresh herbs. even if he’s living in a shitty apartment he can grow those in the windowsill.

now as for the Creole side of Christophe’s cooking heritage (per my headcanon), I could definitely see him growing easy stuff like okra and onions. I don’t think it would be til much later in his life that he has a lot of space to grow a lot of stuff. Gregory may want to big house but Christophe is content with just a little space to fully call his own.

I’ll be honest, him growing veggies might be the only way to guarantee he eats them frequently bc otherwise it might not occur to him. so maybe he should grow stuff to eat.

Also thinking about Loki's golden ornate dagger that Kid Loki hands him in s1e5, the same dagger that's deliberately in every close up of Mobius during their hug, that erupts into a flaming dagger after Mobius specifically says “thanks for the spark,” about how he carries the golden dagger with him throughout s1e6 (only when he drops it does sylvie betray him, AND there is intentionally NO DAGGER during the betrayal kiss, deliberately showing the emptiness of the harness) and how Loki's throne is golden and how Mobius has a heart of gold. Thinking about how, for Loki, “love is a dagger” and the tva's symbol is a golden dagger (symbol of Mobius’ and Loki's love for each other) impaling a Mobius strip, aka an infinity symbol (Loki and Mobius’ love being infinite, endless, for all time) with two eyes staring ahead (Loki watching over Mobius on the sacred timeline). LOVE IS A DAGGER. 🗡🔥⏳

Asks like this make me so happy because stopping to pick up on all the details and parallels of their relationship is unbelievable, it's why I sometimes end up summarizing every scene they've shared throughout both seasons in replies because they really didn't waste a second showing how the impact of knowing each other is this giant ripple effect on every aspect of their lives from that moment on?? Never seen a ship portrayed in such a way where both parties somehow manage to gravitate around each other even when they're not physically together, it's just a natural, unspoken fact their presence has essentially become the grounding force of every move and decision they make from that point forward and I can't imagine finding anything more romantic in a piece of media for as long as I live.
