Today, unfortunately, I am not one of us who likes Stardew Valley. But the others are sort of around and they demanded that I play it for them, and I don't know how they can put 12+ hours into this game every day, the mines are mildly entertaining, I could get hooked on that if I was allowed to JUST do that, but the others would kill me if I let the farm fall apart, and there's chickens that get pissed at us if we stay up late, which is an annoying mechanic that I don't understand. Can we kill the chickens? We have a naming scheme thats just different ways chicken can be cooked, it would be very fitting I think

To me personally malistaire is the funniest and most pathetic villain wizard101 has ever had AND I MEAN THAT SINCERELY!!! Between doomed children who have been manipulated, groomed, and isolated into becoming products of their environments, someone scorned who has been punished unfairly by having your biological heart torn out your chest and turning your children and all of reality against you to satiate their own ego, a nonhuman entity so powerful and so clueless they unintentionally threaten the lives of everyone around them, Malistaire FELL DOWN BRO. Like yeah you're bitchless now. You and me both. Get in line. Everyone in this room is bitchless. We are ALL living that ✨💅🏾💃🕺 Single Life™. You are a middle-aged man. Cope

Gosh we love this piece so much... We commissioned @ VansZero (discord) & worked with them to make this four panel fancomic "That's So Lovely Sibling," focusing on Gauge & Sideswipe, he did such an awesome job with the art in our opinion. We did the writing, spot the references around the piece to who the two's six mentors are! (if you know us it's probably not hard to guess haha)

unless something is actually included within the canon media, whether its outright said or implied, foreshadowed, hinted at, whatever, then I simply don't think its canon
"oh but the creators or official staff said this in some interview-" I dont CARE. unless theyre building on whats already being provided then it does count!! adding entirely new content and trying to claim it as canon in a place that isnt accessible or known to everyone is lazy at best
sure I don't mind whoever going "also [character] likes to knit in their free time" or similar, thats whatever thats cool, I like the little tidbits of information that has no reason or room to be included in the offical media, things you can take or leave and it doesnt matter, but for actual big shit that will impact the character/story and how the veiwer interprets it?? absolutely not.
goes the opposite way too. if something makes its way through the entire editing process and is published, then its part of canon. once again not talking about little things like a character in a comic having six fingers in a panel, but actual writing choices, things about the character or plot. if a character Says something, then they said it. even if the creator goes "oh my bad that was a mistake". especially if to find out it was a mistake you have to actively search it up to realise it was a mistake

hey, sorry this is such a random question, but are there any metal bands you would recommend to someone who's new to that genre of music?
dont feel bad anon!! i love recommending music <3 i'll include a recommended song for the bands that i recommend in case u wanted to check them out!!
not to talk about motionless in white for the Thirteen Thousandth Time, but i do think they're a great metal band for people who are new to the genre. specifically albums like reincarnate and disguise i feel like are easy on newer listeners to metal/metalcore (and in the album titles i've linked to the songs from those albums with the same name <3) (and also since we just ended pride month, they also have a song called voices which is about the lgbtq+ community!)
however besides them (they're my favorite, so they get special privileges to getting talked about first) i think some other strong contenders are bands like spiritbox (rec song: circle with me), bad omens (rec song: like a villain), beartooth (rec song: sunshine!), pierce the veil (rec song: hell above), in this moment (rec song: the in-between), and black veil brides (rec song: wake up). i will also say if you're really into bands that focus on a lot of storytelling in their songs, ice nine kills (song rec: a grave mistake) and sleep token (song rec: take me back to eden) are two more to check out too!! (ice nine kills's whole thing is that they write songs about horror movies too, if that's at all interesting to you :))

anon 1 (f&h hater) here again. i dont have any issues with gross gore depending on the context, and am also into mtl actually, so its not that im just sensitive to that stuff period. i earnestly did not feel fear and hunger 1 had a compelling story or any good justification for its grossness at all, it feels a lot like the A Serbian Film of that genre of games in its shock value. i havent played 2 so maybe that one helps but i still stand by my opinion
i cannot have an opinion on this one as the only person here who has not touched F&H so i shall nods and put this here
