End of January Comic Dump

Happy Sunday, everyone!! Hope your day is going well, here is a comic dump!!

Context: None. I just want to be silly with the gfs.

Context: Longan and Pitaya always fight, despite being family. Royal Margarine keeps earplugs for Buttercream whenever this happens. Rambutan is thankful her new step-dad is helping with their new sibling.

Context: Unlikely mates, I love them. Longan is so done with their kids disappointing them (Except Lychee)

Context: New member to the ancient's bodyguards! Silverbell is extremely nervous since he's hasnt been around other non-faerie cookies.

Yes, I know that Financier guards Consul Clotted Cream (who is a Super Epic), but she's earned her place in the club since she was part of the story.

Holy moly a rendered drawing!? And it's Flatland!? AND it's sort of gijinka-fied?!?!?!? Crazy.

Drip or drown fellas? Be honest lol.

Okay, so some design choices I wanted to point out and "explain":

A. Square does not look any different because he is peak performance. The whole thing of 2D creatures who live "water" and look like amoebas was too good to tarnish. I kept it simple, gave him some boots to help with gravitational pain n stuff on his feet, and he has glasses cuz I saw some character in the movie with them and I thought it would vibe well. He looks a little older because of them, but whatever. The nerd needs to look like a nerd.

A. Sphere I took so many liberties with. At first, I went with the most basic CEO fit I could come up with, found it boring, gave him a vest and bowtie, cut the bowtie for a normal tie and gave him rainbow suspenders, then gave him the bracelets for funsies. The most consistent thing through all the versions was the analog watch (that he probably can't read lol).

He doesn't really feel like a CEO anymore, but c'mon, in canon he's a gold sphere and the only metallic solid. He's gonna look flashy and extra. It's a given.

Are you reeeally a Flatland fan if you haven't drawn or edited an image of A. Square being yeeted like a frisbee?

I feel like this is a staple, and I found this really amusing stock image that just fit so well.

I made the whole Flatland species friend-shaped. As an OSC person (yes I'm working on stuff related to it give me a sec), I could not see the Flatlanders as anything more than the silly stick limbed creatures of that community.

Spacelanders are different, but that's more so because of how the book refers to them. "Spacelanders" in the book, although the context is probably just different 3D shapes, are addressed as people who have people systems who do people things. So, I designed accordingly. (Also, I did NOT want A. Sphere to look like that one Pacman TV show. I think I would have combusted before finishing if he did.)

These were some doodles I worked with for just looks purposes. The tendrils(?) on their corners are the longest ones on their bodies. Circles have them all mostly uniform cuz they're boring.

home again now. depending on which version of me is fronting, how regularly i engage with my online activity will be a touch more sporadic and avoidant until further notice because i have shit to do, what little i can that is within my power to do at least. do not stop talking or let yourselves get distracted too long too often, alright. make it a balance. dedicate time, talk, look for updates, don't just wait for them to come to you on your dash, and boost what does but always still fact check sources first so you don't harm your own cause spreading misinformation, and put the effort to do some reading and listening and then making phone calls and sending letters n all that

#i know you Need fun to be healthy #but you need to be willing to self-sacrifice a bit for the people who don't have a choice and never will until you suffer with them #there is no valor or honor in suffering. but sometimes you must be willing to accept a QoL hit bc that QoL hit is the bargaining chip #being too tired and burnt out to do what's right is a Feature not a Bug of this awful exploitative system we live under #look at me rambling in the tags again but you get it #just do more than Just get it. do something about it. whatever you can.

Context: Red Velvet forgot to tell the boys he had a son, Strawberry Cream Cookie, who went looking for his father. Crunchy argues with him about kidnapping as Red Velvet, while Lilac looks on in shock while Strawberry Cream stands there looking confused.

HE JUST CAME OUT JUST CAME OUT AND I LOVE HIM. CANT WAIT UNTIL STRAWBERRY CREAM IS PLAYABLE

Headcanon time: Red Velvet was lonely in the Cake Tower, so he created Strawberry Cream using cake wolf, sugar fox, and cookie parts and mixing them together, Frankenstein style. Few knew about his existence bc Red Velvet didnt want SC to be found by Dark Enchantress. Dark Choco, but RV told him to say nothing about them. Red velvet sent the boy to the Holiday School in secret, telling his son to not bring up where he comes from.

Red Velvet adores his pup, and wants nothing bad to happen to him.
