wait what do you mean when you say “the whole reason Dennis hated Mac for years was because he wasn't taking care of Dennis anymore”? i recently watched the latest seasons of sunny and i swear i didnt pick up on that?

Oh, that was the subplot for The Gang Chokes. Dennis calls Mac out on how he isn't taking charge anymore then says; "Stop trying to prove yourself to me in all the wrong ways," and then at the end of the episode Mac doesn't save Dee with the EpiPen. After that, Dennis is noticeably much, much less vitriolic towards Mac, as it was canonized the reason he was hateful towards Mac was for that reason - not his gayness.
