#the goyim are at it again
Text
ok im less drunk now so i can actually express myself now
so, i just went to the bar with two of my close friends. we were just chatting and i happened to mention casually that canada has higher rates of antisemitism than the united states, and one of them went on a tirade about how jews are weaponising the holocaust and that its our fault that hamas exists (and antisemitism more generally) among other antisemitic shit, and im just...
i cant with this shit anymore. i want to be angry about this, i want to yell and scream and express just how horrible it makes me feel that goyim feel like they can just... Say shit like that? to their jewish friends? what the actual Fuck? i want to be angry, but if i were to fully express my anger, i would be written off and ignored. something something up to the point where youre not human.
i want to be able to trust people, but goyim are making it So Fucking Difficult. when i talk about antisemitism with people (especially white goyim), they are mostly dismissive. like, yall know so little about antisemitism that you cant see that This is what preceeded the fucking Holocaust.
I. Don't. Feel. Safe.
no Jew i have spoken to does.
and when i express that, you feel the need to rant about how 'we deserve it' and 'it's our fault' and 'we're exaggerating how bad the holocaust was'? I'm sorry, but you're antisemitic.
like, that's TEXTBOOK antisemitism, and there is absolutely NOTHING i can do to tell if someone is antisemitic other than telling them I'm Jewish and seeing how they react.
no matter how progressive someone is (or claims to be), they very well might be Violently antisemitic. 'oppression is bad' except for Jews 'killing is bad' except for Jews 'rape is bad' except for Jews, apparently.
I'm done. i will no longer tolerate this. i will no longer be in relation with antisemites, no matter how much i trust them, no matter how well they treat me, if you say shit like that, you don't deserve to be my friend.

If you ever needed to know the extent of how the I/P conflict is fandomized, there is a popular post going around with a Sailor moon sticker saying Free Palestine and all the comments are talking about how it's their aesthetic and they totally need to buy it
Because this doesn't matter to them, it's just the cool hip and trendy thing

i watched the “is the time coming to lay the Holocaust to rest?” episode of big questions and i am appalled.
i couldn’t even believe that this would even be a question?
first of all, jewish voices need to be centered within these conversations. i don’t care what some random guy who claims to be a human rights expert has to say. not when there are jewish people (SOME OF WHICH WHO ARE LITERAL VICTIMS OF THE NAZIS) who are being talked over and disregarded.
second, talking about the holocaust, how it was even possible, and the extent of the violence, DOES NOT somehow put it above other genocides. believe it or not, but jewish people are not always vindictive and greedy for attention.
lastly, there genuinely is no point to this question. the jewish community will not stop talking about this, not any time soon. we can never forget what happened and all of the lives lost, families shattered, and people traumatized during the shoah.

Quote
Critics have found that many of the Yiddish proverbs draw similarities with Kafka’s narratives, including, “What will become of the sheep if the wolf is judge?” and, “The hat is fine but the head is too small” (Furman). Through the Yiddish language, Kafka discovered how he could use words to fill his writings with the irony, paradoxes, and symbolism that characterized Jewish literary culture and the plays that he loved. With the motivation to create, and the influence of what he considered to be authentic Judaism, he wrote, eventually developing a style that was so distinctive the term Kafkaesque was coined to describe it. Despite the abundant evidence to support the influence that Jewish culture had on Kafka, several literary scholars have questioned the role that it takes in his writing due to the “virtual absence of direct allusions” (Scott 7). Unfortunately, such statements arise from a lack of understanding of Jewish culture, and more importantly Jewish literary devices. These critics fail to recognize the multifaceted nature of the literary technique that Kafka employs. It is for this reason that much of Kafka’s work is shrouded in debate and mystery.

Ok, so I’m going to walk y’all through some of the basics of spotting antisemitism as gently as I can muster, considering a lot of y’all have been ignoring Jews trying to teach you this stuff for years:
Jews controlling the world, banks, or media is rooted in antisemitic conspiracy theories. Another version of this is the idea that Jews are a part of some secret organization.
Jews being stereotyped as greedy, rich, and untrustworthy is an antisemitic trope that has existed since well before the Holocaust.
Anything involving Jews drinking blood, killing babies in rituals, or stealing children is rooted in blood libel, which is old antisemitism and VERY antisemitic.
“Noticing patterns” is an antisemitic dog whistle. Also sometimes spelled “noseticing” to mock Jewish people's noses. It’s tied into the conspiracy theory that Jews control everything.
If you see someone’s name surrounded by parentheses like this ((insert name here)) that’s called the “echo” and is used by neo-Nazis to signal to other Nazis that a person is Jewish.
Saying Jews are in league with Satan is an obvious antisemitic thing, but it can sometimes be snuck into media, statements, and posts in more subtle ways. If someone has the Bible verse John 8:44 in their bio or posts, they’re probably a Nazi. Jews are also sometimes portrayed as having horns or other devil like characteristics. This is also old antisemitism.
Media that portrays characters as having very exaggerated, hooked noses while being stereotypically mean, unattractive, or greedy-looking is often intended to be Jewish caricatures. This one’s a bit harder to explain, but if you want a perfect example of this, look up a Nazi-era propaganda poster and compare it to the goblins in the Harry Potter movies and video game. There’s even a Star of David in the goblin run banks in one of the movies. It’s so blatant.
These are just some common, basic examples of antisemitism. I’ve witnessed almost every single one of these multiple times on Tumblr alone. Some other things to keep in mind are that Jews are only .2% of the population, and I’d be suspicious of anyone trying to make that percentage look bigger to suggest we have more influence and control than we do.

I don’t have the words to put it succinctly, but does anyone else feel like the “Jewish education” accounts on Instagram and TikTok are inadvertently making things worse? Not because of the “educators” themselves, but because of the way goyim act when they’ve learned a teensy bit of Judaism? Does this make sense or resonate with anyone else?

Israel is absolutely not a settler colonial state what the fuck. I have no idea where that started, there are like a million different criticisms at the current government you can make but it is not a colony? What the fuck?
Like, if you want to call the current Israeli government far-right, you can do that. If you want to call them a theocratic police state, you can do that. Those are all genuine criticisms that can be responded to, and used to shape a better world for both Israeli's and Palestinians. You don't need to make up some hogwash about Benjamin Netanyahu being a fake Jew or an evil convert to justify criticizing his current government! Fucking Goyim! Just say you don't like the police state! It's fine!

Feeling a bit conflicted on this so as a Jewish person going to share my thoughts
The Star of David is a Jewish symbol.
It is NOT original to Israel. People who use the Star of David aren’t inherently affiliated with Israel in the slightest and for people to harass uninvolved Jews or accuse them of being zionists bc they have the Star of David on their person/on their profile are antisemitic. Plain and simple. The Star of David is not a hate symbol and to equate being Jewish with automatically being a zionist is antisemitic as fuck
That being said, there’s no doubt it’s being used a hate symbol and many Palestinians see it as such. Pro-Palestinian posters and messages are being vandalized with the Star of David, flags with the star are being flown over destroyed Palestinian towns- towns that have been bombed into dust by people wearing the same symbol-, Israeli soldiers even BRAND innocent Palestinians with it- permanently marking it into their skin as a sadistic act of unneeded cruelty and humiliation. Yes, while it’s not intentionally used as a hate symbol zionists are using it as such and consequently we’re not going to blame Palestinians for seeing it as so !!!
“The Star of David is an important Jewish symbol and not indicative of Zionism in the slightest” and “The Star of David is unfortunately seen as a symbol of oppression by many of those suffering from Israel’s brutal ethnic cleansing” are statements that can and need to co-exist.
While yes, it’s antisemitic as hell to point fingers to anyone who has the Star of David on them and call them a zionist, do not fucking harass the Palestinians who had no fucking choice but to associate that symbol with hate and violence and death

You know what, fuck it. I shouldn’t have to leave because y’all decided to turn into antisemites. Here’s a tiny fraction of the shit that I’ve had to see every day:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Y’all fucking used us and pretended to give a fuck about us to make yourselves look better and then turned on us and abandoned as soon as it was no longer earning you cool leftist points. I’ve had to listen to so many goyim leftist claim all Jews are making up antisemitism while I have to live through it. I’ve had to listen to you people say that me and everyone like me should be killed. I tried to give you all the benefit of the doubt when I spoke out about antisemitism and you ignored me. I did the same thing when I saw people trying to argue against other Jews when they pointed out antisemitic stereotypes that where being perpetrated by the left. This was before the I/P conflict was even well known about in a lot of leftist spaces. I should’ve never given you that benefit, you didn’t deserve it. Leftist goyim are now saying the same genocidal Nazi shit I’m used to hearing from the alt right. Now I know that you fucks where just waiting for the opportunity to turn on us, and I won’t forget this. And I know so many of you are doing the same thing to the Palestinians that you did to us. You’re pretending to care about them and using them to look good. If you actually cared about them, you wouldn’t be turning this into a chance to be antisemitic because that just distracts from their movement. I’m gonna unfollow every fucker who’s complicit in this or perpetrating it. I don’t know who to trust anymore, but I know I will never trust any of you again.
