so thanks to some of you guys showing some interest in my project, i was finally motivated to complete the y0 profiles i was meant to make back in the summer of 2021!

if there's anything you wanna know about any of my ocs (or majima) please send them to my ask box!!!! give this out of shape writer some exercise! you can ask anything that you want so long as it's not too sensitive to the plot (don't wanna give too much away). i know this is vague so i'll list some possible topics to show what i mean: character X and Y's relationship, more info about a particular character and/or their backstory, a character's interests, likes/dislikes, inquire about their personalities, birthdays! honestly just about anything you want and if i can't answer it because it will give away too much, i'll tell you what i can and apologize for what i can't. tbh, i wasn't supposed to share the hiroki and shinji profiles because it's very plot relevant but i thought maybe it would make things more interesting if i did. you can even ask for more photos of a character you're interested in

Different from my usual comic strips, this is a long doujinshi and the total page count will be something around 40~50 pages. Besides Kiryu and Majima, we will also have characters like Sagawa, Yuki-chan, Youda and the Sunshine Club girls making an appearance. The plot, script and scenes are all ready and I’m storyboarding and drawing the pages as I progress through the script!

This is also a R-18 adult doujinshi. There’s a lot of fluff, angst and fun interaction with the other characters but a good chunk (mostly half) of the comic will be dedicated to hentai (so rejoice you horny ones fdsjkfhdj). (For those who are curious about the spicy parts, it’s my established 80s Goromi and Y0 Kiryu’s dynamic: Goromi is the top and dominant one and, as a good and obedient boy, Kiryu will obey all of her orders and will do anything to please his queen. 👀 So basically, Goromi will destroy Kiryu dhsfksd) 

I’ll be sharing the first 4 pages and then some random ones to the public, but after those, all new pages will be exclusive to my patrons on Patreon! I’m gradually posting over there WIPs, behind-the-scenes and new pages as I make them. I’ll always let you guys know on my social media when I post a new finished page on my Patreon!

I expect half a year or a year for the whole doujinshi to be finished. But the more support I have on Patreon, the faster I can make this doujinshi!

Once finished, I’ll make the complete doujinshi available for purchase in one of my online shops! Yes, this will be a paid comic. I’m pouring all my love for Kazumaji and 80s Goromi in this doujinshi but it also takes a lot of time and dedication to give life to this project so I hope you guys understand that decision. ❤ Of course, all the patrons who support the comic on Patreon will have the whole doujinshi available to them from the get-go.

It will first be available as a digital PDF but I’m also planning to release it in physical format down the road.

Making long comics has always been my true passion, ever since I was a little kid. And I also have other long adult doujinshi planned. If everything goes smoothly, this comic will be the first one of a series of Kazumaji doujinshis! ^^

I’ve made a post on this already, but after acquiring heaps and reams of knowledge, I’ve decided to go at it again.

I cannot stop anyone from wanting to view Mine as bi, and my intentions don’t lie there. But instead, I wanted to bring up that it hardly seems like the intentions of the devs and especially Yokoyama. Mine is a pretty big deal in being a heavily implied gay character regardless of having been a villain, partly due to how he’s just as masculine as his peers and his love for another man is a core part of his characterization where sympathy comes into play. On top of that, they do not shy away from heavy handed hints in his total lack of interest in women romantically and sexually.

Yokoyama is not only a non stranger to commentary on how much he loves Mine, but he’s also made remarks that imply he finds it funny that women are attracted to him though they can’t have him.

RGGO is particularly revealing about this thanks to how much room it gives to focus on character elements they couldn’t do in the actual games.

—A beach event in Okinawa has Kanda wanting to throw a party and see who between them can invite the most women. Mine is less than uninterested, but still winds up getting a few women interested in him. He can’t seem to outright reject them, but gives them very bland answers.

—This is a big trend in other Mine centric stories. Upon being asked by a woman if he’s by himself, he gives a slightly roundabout answer instead of outright saying anything more direct. He agrees to do something with her despite his ongoing lack of enthusiasm.

—As told, he’s gone on dates with women thanks to being unable to turn them down (he’s interestingly kind enough to women even though there’s some popular jokes about him being a misogynistic gay man). But if he sees a woman once, doesn’t really see them again. All in all, this is incredibly different from many other yakuza men who adore women as they slot into the three important status symbols: power, money, and women. All things that Mine brings up at the end of 3 as stuff that wasn’t really giving him any meaning or purpose in life. His line about having any woman he could want goes largely misunderstood. Especially after he ends that line with saying living life that way was a lie.

Comparing an outright love confession to Mine being thankful to have had Katase around feels almost laughable. On one hand, I’m at least glad the person who wrote this acknowledges the romantic feelings with Daigo, but on the other hand… “heavily implied?” With Katase? No… Not every meaningful statement or even so much as breathing the same air as one another between a man and woman is grounds for love.

Genuinely, it feels like they’ve done nearly everything but outright use any direct wording for his sexuality. He’s the only character they’ve gone this far with. Others get more vagueness or subtlety.

I’ve talked to @04tenno quite a bit about this. And as usual, they’re the reason I know quite a bit, too.

Majima’s section is bizarre to me for immediately throwing out there that he’s a huge ladies’ man. (This was listed elsewhere in his section). Which is just… hilarious. Sure, plenty of irl female fans adore him, but in universe, he’s nothing of the sort and often interacts with women by using a more friendly tone of voice (probably to seem less intimidating) along with other behavioral changes. I also take up issue regarding the way the person who wrote this seems to completely downplay Majima and Kiryu’s relationship to the first game. But that’s a whole other conversation…

Zhao’s section feels incredibly different compared to the other two due to how the person writing it seems to completely lean into the potential signifiers and stereotypes surrounding him and includes other instances beyond that. There’s nothing about him being in a hostess club automatically meaning he’s attracted to women. As such, even a lot of dudebros seem to openly view Zhao as not being bisexual, but instead, straight up gay. This seems to be due to the fact that Zhao is never shown playing into the typical mainstream macho type stuff as opposed to Mine.

I didn’t take a screenshot, but Daigo even gets the assumed-to-be-into-women-because-he-was-next-to-one-treatment. While he went to hostess clubs, he looks so extremely despondent and out of the moment when we see him there. I can’t find it in me to assume he’s attracted to women just because he went to those types of clubs. His sexuality is totally up for debate as several others are as well. And we can all see him however we want. But, overall, immediately assuming things for such and such reasons starts to feel a little off to me. All in all, Mine gets this treatment the worse thanks to his sexuality actually being a big factor in his character.

OMG?? I love your ocs?? Really obsessed with the designs and descriptions for them! Especially that purple on Kenjiro's shirt, it's so shiny! May I ask how did Arika and Majima meet? Also, what did you make the models in?

Thank you so much!!! Fun fact, Kenji's model was meant to wear a teal colored shirt for his profile but I was too lazy to change them and redo the photoshoot! That said, I made all of the models using The Sims 4, alpha CC and heaps and heaps of photoshop! I'm glad you like them! That makes me so happy!!!

How they meet:

One night Arika and a few girls she'd just met in university went into Sotenbori to bar hop. One of those bars happened to be Utahime Karaoke Bar near Ashitaba Park. Even with liquid courage none of them were bold enough to hop on the mic no matter how much she begged. However, Arika was determined to enjoy herself. After all, what was the point of going to a karaoke bar if you weren't going to sing at least once? Feeling a light buzz, Arika took the tiny stage with enough misplaced confidence to light up a few faces. One face in particular belonged to none of than Goro Majima. With her form-fitting dress, big brown curls and wide smile, he thought that she looked great with a mic in her hand- almost reminiscent one of those American pop stars he's found himself learning about at his club. That was.. until she actually began to sing. She could keep a beat but the poor girl couldn't carry a tune to save her life. It was horrendously entertaining. Majima spotted her crowd at the table next to him, cheering her on and he was feeling playful enough to join in.

After her song was over, Majima went over to collect the microphone. He told her that she had inspired him to sing his heart out too. She laughed and promised to cheer him on in that case and she did just that. As he sang, he couldn't stop looking over at her and still to this day he wasn't sure how many other people were paying attention to his performance in that crowded bar because his focus zeroed in on her as if he was intending to sing to her from the start. And he felt something. Of course it wasn't love at first sight or anything but whatever it was it intrigued him and he wanted to figure it out. As he ended his song, she gave him a standing ovation and yelled, "Wooo! Way to go, eyepatch guy!" and one of her friends snatched her back into her seat while she laughed.

Long after that finished, he caught her over at the bar ordering another round for her and her friends where he offered to pay. She refused his offer but he insisted. He told her that if she felt so bad about him treated her to a few drinks, she might as well return the favor by joining him for dinner some time and with a light hearted chuckle, she agreed. The two exchanged names and that was that.

I know that like asexual Kiryu has been talked about before but I’ve been thinking about him more recently and like...

Notice how he goes to telephone clubs and hostess clubs and video stores and all that, and he’ll say about what he likes in a girl, what he’s looking for, and of course that one hostess chat in Kiwami where he talks about wanting to be the one who’s wooed for a change.

Here’s the thing though; every single time someone has shown ANY interest in him, romantic or sexual, he’s not into it. And he’s got PLENTY to pick from, it feels like half the substories are people falling head over heels or wanting to climb him like a tree or both, but he’s not having any of it. He’s more outwardly like “um no thanks” when it’s men but he’s awkward and uncomfortable around women too.

And I’m not judging his or anyone else’s tastes but also like, his preferences for women feel very...basic? Like, almost more like this is what he’s expected to like, people/society in general is like This Is What’s Desirable In A Woman and he’s just like “yep cool sounds good” and just accepts that as What He Also Wants In A Woman. He tells other people that there’s all sorts of people out there, ya can’t judge on just appearances, there’s more to people than that, but it doesn’t ever seem to really apply to himself?

Idk man this isn’t even me projecting and hitting him with the Aro Beam, I’ve done that to other characters based on singular lines of dialogue (Mana I’m looking at you), but I really am just sitting here like ‘mate I think Kiryu might be arospec as well as asexual’.
