How to Request?

Just send me an ask on this blog detailing what you what like! It's that simple. Include as little or as much info as you would like. The more specific you are, the more likely you are to get exactly what you want. But vague requests aren't necessarily a problem. And anon asks ARE turned on, so don't feel shy!

What Info Should I Include In My Request?

The following are extra pieces info you could include in your request to make it easier on me:

What size to make a wallpaper. This can be exact measurements or if you have an image that is the right size than feel to send that to me as well. (I'm not sure if you can send media through requests, but if not then feel free to dm this blog. If you want to remain anonymous on the request then i won't share your blog)

If the character you are requesting has multiple outfits, specify which ones you do/don't want. If you don't specify, i'll usually just use a mix.

What icon/edit i've done in the past do you want me to base it on? This isn't required, but if you want a guarantee that it will turn out a certain way then feel free to give the link to a specific thing i've done in the past. If nothing is specified i'll do what i usually do: whatever i want. Which i like to think usually doesn't turn out bad but it does mean you get a certain level of unpredictability when it comes to the little details.

What pride flag to use if there are multiple version.(ex. The sunset aroace flag vs both the aro and ace flags)

What Happens If I Don't Like How My Request Turns Out?

Simply let me know! Send another ask politely letting me know what I did wrong and i'll fix it!

When Do Requests Close?

Requests will close whenever i am busy/overwhelmed with my life. I will also probably close requests once i reach a certain amount so that i can catch up before getting new ones. Remember that i am a real person and have others things to do than just run this blog.

How Long Will My Request Take?

Depends on how interested i am in it. I will try to get to every request when i can, and the amount of requests i currently have affects that. If it is something I find very fun to work on it will probably get done faster. ;3 Of course after I finish the request It will be thrown in the queue. I sometimes have a backlog of posts but i try to queue requests to pop up within a couple days of me finishing them.

Can I Request More Than Once?

Yep! There is no limit whatsoever on how many requests you can submit. So go wild :)

Do I Have To Credit You?

You never have to directly credit me if you use something i've made, but rebloging it IS appreciated! It's how my work gets spread around to other people. But if you do want to credit me in your bio or whatever because you're using one of my icons i will always appreciate it :) THE EXCEPTION IS MY ICONS/EDITS USING ANOTHER PERSON'S ARTWORK! It is imperative that if another artist has been gracious enough to let me use their work that you properly credit them if using something i've made with it!!! Wtf even are my dreams at this point???

Dream of a broom that’s handle was black and white striped and possessed with the souls of both Captain Knuckles and Flapjack. Fittingly Captain Knuckles was the ‘captain’ of steering the thing and the main consciousness present, though he didn’t really talk. For some reason he gave off a Cheshire cat and Cousin It vibe to dream me?? I think it had a bucket over the bristled part of the broom which I mean isn’t really important but like.. more context. Antman told me he’d give me a quarter if i went and asked him out. I got the quarter.

HEADCANON: annona's two biggest projects !!

ANNONA & JOE (2004-2009).

A quirky kids show about a precocious ballerina (Annona) after she moves into a new house inhabited by a lonely ghost, Joe (originally played by a boy Annona’s age named Danny Joe Bradley), who starts to follow Annona around when he finds out she’s the only person on Earth who can see him.

The show started as an innocent, offbeat but light-hearted little sitcom, with one or two gallows humor jokes (usually related to existentialism) thrown into the season for the parents who are watching with their 6-year-olds. (Think EERIE, INDIANA if anyone has ever heard of that.) They originally never touched on the logistics of how Joe died or why Annona had the ability to see him.

Annona gained a lot of attention for doing her own dancing for her character. She was classically trained in ballet from 2002 until 2010.

It was a success with children, but it gained massive attention when someone popularized an internet fan theory that the character of Annona was schizophrenic. Suddenly everybody was watching the show through the lens of it being about a deeply disturbed girl who’s too mature to connect to anyone her own age, and the writers of the show decided to embrace that in the following seasons.

The show’s dark humor became less subtle in season 2, with more hints of Annona’s mental illnesses and existential crises. It was still marketed as a show for children and popular among the alleged target audience, but it was clear that it was being written for adults. By season 3, the show had become one huge allegory for SOLIPSISM. The controversy around the show only helped it become more popular. It was too big to cancel.

But while filming season 3, Danny Joe Bradley died while they were filming their Hannukah episode in a ski lodge in December 2008. (I’ll make a headcanon post about how he died if anyone is interested but I’m trying to keep this bio condensed!)

Because the show was too successful, the studio decided they needed to milk a full 4 seasons out of it, and so the role of Joe was recast.

The show ended on a high note. The boy they cast as Joe looked close enough that the child audience didn’t notice. But headlines and buzz about the dead actor who played a ghost turned the show into a cultural staple, and the recasting was the last piece of controversy it needed to go down in history.

7 years after it’s ended, people talk about about as much as they talk about shows like The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack, but everyone who lived through the tabloid stories and urban legends surrounding the show will remember it whenever it’s mentioned to them. It has a tremendous cult following on the internet and at geek conventions, but it may be more of a distant memory to the average teenager, since it aired when these kids were about 5-10 years old.

But it’s still very popular among stoners who watch shows like Adventure Time and Courage the Cowardly Dog. It was and still is HUGE in Japan.

A sundance darling psychological thriller that became an instant classic in the horror genre, akin to the likes of The VVitch, It Follows, The Babadook, Hereditary, and so on. Super atmospheric mystery movie about human cloning; big themes and ethical questions involving duality, replacement, artificiality, identity.

Annona played the main character’s daughter, Dolly (maybe the clone of his dead wife? idk I’ll figure out the plot to this movie as we go), and there’s a big base of people who say she was snubbed for an Oscar nomination for her performance.

There’s a line in the movie that’s probably really well-acted and powerful in context, but it’s so dramatic and over the top that it became a meme for Youtube Poops and shitposts all over the internet. (Think Leonardo DiCaprio’s “MAL!!!!!! JESUS CHRIST!!!!!” wailing from Inception.) The iconic line is probably something like “HE’S DEAD, DOLL, DON’T DO IT!!!!!!!” and maybe the youths thought it was funny because of the alliteration. If you shout this quote at her she’s very likely to try to smack you. It’s been three years. She’s tired of hearing it.

She’s been in a lot of horror movies (both artsy and trashy) and made cameos in some tv shows but these are the two she’s most known for. She’s done a lot of quirky-weird-dark indie movies and a Hocus Pocus-esc halloween kids movie back in 2012. Her career slowed down after 2015 when she started to really spiral into depression. 

She’s not in the public eye too much anymore, and doesn’t frequently get noticed in public. But she’s become a kind of idol in Japan and has cult princess status in the horror movie fanbase.

UNCLE: Grant McKean. Critically acclaimed director specializing in thriller movies. (think: Christopher Nolan logic/storylines meets David Lynch atmosphere!) He’s slowly turning into the next stereotypical film bro’s favorite director. Not quite Tarantino/Fincher level, but he’s getting there. MOTHER: Linda McKean Bright. vapid indie/arthouse director whose career never really took off. FATHER: Sam Bright. middle-aged actor who hasn’t been in anything widely successful since he was 22.

Deftones- “Genesis”

The newest single off the uppcoming and anticipated “Ohms” (September 25th), it’s not only a return to the band’s singularly swooning roots, but another evolutionary stepping stone in a group that continues to amaze with every rebirth.

A literal sonic depiction of an oceanic vortex, vocalist Chino Moreno's trademark screams and silky croons accentuate the intensity, radiating from the brilliant chemistry of the band as a whole, with MVP focus given to Stephan Carpenter's crunching guitars building off Abe Cunningham's drums in such a perfect way, it’s reaffirmed truth. Adult Programming- “Sugar Crashing”

The quickly up and coming Miami based artist’s latest is a much needed stroke of sweetness that stay true to the name.

Take Jack Stauber and add just a dash of Cold Cave's love draped darkness, the song could fit perfectly as a beach track to your lover, as much as it could a narration to the nefarious dentist character of “The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack”.

Puscifer- “The Underwhelming”

Under the radar, the rock supergroup headed by Maynard Keenan of Tool have released new material from their latest album in 5 years, “Existential Reckoning” , coming out at the end of October.

“The Underwhelming” finds the group at an interesting arc: providing the haunting lyrics and ethos they are so versed at providing, amidst a Nine Inch Nails meets an almost unsettling lightness that is as intriguing as it is toe tapping.

SALEM- “Starfall”

Perhaps the most surprising release of this week comes from the secretive witch-house group known as SALEM. Making their mark with their release of “King Night” in 2010, the album was met with acclaim for the inventive and haunting composition before the Michigan based band just as suddenly disappeared from the map.

Aside from the occasional release of remixes (most notably, their cover of Alice Deejays's iconic “Better Off Alone”, made into a dark and brooding storm), the band remained unfortunately silent. Until now.

After nearly a decade of inactivity, SALEM have released a surprise mixtape titled “STAY DOWN”. Perhaps fueled by the chaos of the outside world, the opening track consists of a rap atop a classical music staple in a strange frenzy that could fit in a modernized version of “A Clockwork Orange”.

The latest single off the mixtape, “Starfall” is a serene fall into the Upside Down; made up of 80’s synths and their special brew of haunting bliss.
