last Saturday, I went to a show to see my favorite band The Music Tapes perform for an Orbiting Human Circus show and it was fantastic! Julian was an absolute pleasure to be around and it was a very fun performance. I couldn't get the silly little dance he did with the polar bear when they were performing The Lost Angel out of my head, so I threw a quick little drawing together for it :-)

If you would like to invite him to call you as part of the day, email [email protected] and give us your (1) ticket; (2) name; and (3) phone number; and (4) 2 or 3 1-hour time windows between 1:30PM–11:30PM EST (with time zone or location) when you will be available.

To get your ticket: Sit down in a comfortable place and hold out your hand. Imagine a cutout paper reindeer standing on your palm, then think of a favorite memory of something you love or have loved. As you do, you’ll see that the reindeer will begin to float. Imagine it floating all around the space you’re in. It will land on something, pause, and then fly back to your hand. When it reaches you, close your hand around it and keep it closed for a count of 10. It will become a part of you. Then email us and tell us the object it landed on. (You can describe it in words, pictures, audio, or whatever you like. It could be the most mundane object in the world and likely will be!) This is your ticket.

Oh man, I love Julian Koster! that guy truly found his niche, and his niche is playing vintage Christmas songs, on an instrument called the musical saw, in a carnival tent, while wearing only primary colors, and while telling beautiful stories about clouds or polar bears or something. I just think he slays so hard!
