You ever see the video of the racoon with a piece of cotton candy and it tries to wash it off in some water only for it to dissolve, and its little racoon hands are patting the water trying to find the cotton candy? I need a tiny racoon-like Machete losing his cotton candy in the water while Vasco sits by him and comforts him. I need tiny teary-eyed racoon Machete. Please.

🧸 to all the critters! I wanna know!
Bubba - Books, Bubba's ultimate comfort object is books. There's nothing he loves more than snuggling down into a comfy place, like a beanbag in his library or under the shade of the tree. he can just open his book and slip into another world for awhile, his favorite books are books about space
Kickin - He has a little teddy bear from when he was a kid. In the cartoon I could see him taking it on overnight trips and camping episodes, in true kids cartoon fashion I imagine that the teddy talks to him but only he can hear it, only the teddy bear flops when someone comes in (like in Doc mcstuffins).
Catnap - Almost everything in his room can count as his comfort objects. but i think anything on his bed fits the bill more, his blanket, his pillows, the fact that his bed is shaped like a crescent moon (yes this is an actual thing and they're baby cradles but they're cute and they fit Catnap so-) second would be his mobile or his stuffed lion
Hoppy - Her soccer ball, nothing detresses her more than a good old game of soccer. She used to try and play soccer with her little siblings but they were never interested.
Bobby - Bobby's entire house is filled with heart motives and positive messages but if I were to pick a comfort object for her, I'd say a heart pillow that she sleeps on every on every night.
Dogday - Despite the implications that comes with it I feel like Dogday likes wearing dog collars. Maybe it gives him a sense of belonging or safety
Craftycorn - she seems like the type that collects rare art supplies and never uses them cause she likes admiring them, that being said I could see her taking comfort in old crayola colors like "Dandelion" or "Bluetiful"
Picky - I'm actually stumped on what her comfort item would be so my basic answer is her baby blanket or a bib that looks just like one she had as a baby

Any tips possibly, for drawing Barnaby’s ears and making them floppy? I find that with how fluffy I like to draw them (similarly to you) it’s hard to show gravity laying them down on his shoulders and such. (Also if you see this I REALLY REALLY LOVE YOUR ART, YOUR HUMOR AND YOUR WAY OF TEXTING AND SUCH AND YOU ARE SUCH A BIG INSPIRATION TO ME IN MANY WAYS!! 💙💚)
i can sure as hell try!!! my scribbling process is very much a Subconscious thing so let me know if all of this is too vague / doesn't make Any sense, cause trying to translate it is Tough
okay so
the first Important thing is to visualize Barnaby's ears as physical objects. they have weight, volume. im just now realizing i could have used Clown's ~official site~ art to help clarify, oops. we'll have to do with my own scribbles. they'll mold to whatever manipulates them - not to the extent of water, but they're plushy.
personally, i view them as beanbags, or half-stuffed pillows - or water balloons. thick, and having a specific Shape but not solid. i always start with the basic shape before adding the fluff, as shown below. the "meat" of the ear, the heaviest part and the most affected by gravity, will distort the most when manipulated, and the volume will distribute
Tumblr media Tumblr media
then when adding the fluff, keep in mind that the fur/plush folds with the grain. like if you have a pet, and you press your hand to their side, their fur will kinda bend and be "pinned" under your hand.
also! it helps to test this out yourself. if you have a beanbag, or a water balloon, a pillow with depleted stuffing - mess around with em. study how the shape changes and how the volume distributes. if you have something fluffy (a pet, a funky pillowcase, etc) mess around with the fur/fluff! a strong visual inventory helps So So much with art
speaking of weight and distribution!
Tumblr media
i split Barnaby's ears up into two (technically three) parts - the anchor, where the ear attaches to his head, and the ear's weights. the first weight is attached to the anchor, so that one doesn't move much. it's mostly just affected by the ear's main weight, which is So Much Fun to play with.
honestly, the second weight is a beanbag all to itself. it really molds to fit the form of whatever presses against it. like shoulders! idk if the white lines are showing it well, but the ears' distribution usually flows off of the first weight and hits the second, where it kinda "bounces" on or falls around the solid surface blocking it
& the space between the weights (blue circles) is just connective. like, it still has stuff in it, but Less, yk? i think this thin space is good for portraying gravity/weight through how much there is - more = stretch, less + squish.
here's some additional visuals for weight, volume (shown with mesh), and gravity
Tumblr media
so just.... yk... keep in mind that his ears have Volume and will fold over itself, bunch up, the basic shape is just Very malleable! his ears are beanbags attached to a fixed point on his head - other than that point, they can swing and squish however!

Leo and Donnie are streaming. Their models are in onesies, Leo a Unicorn, and Donnie a Dinosaur, with matching slippers, their models are sitting in beanbags. A low table between their models has a tea cup, mug, and Shelldon on it. They're attempting a live podcast, though not sure how it's going. There is a chat asking questions, but only a handful are answered.
Leo: So we don't really mention Pops much do we, so let's talk about him.
Donnie: Papa was once a celebrity, at the very least in the martial arts world, and because he came over from Japan he often went by a stagename, so not many may know his real name. He does pop up on random YouTube videos of 'Where are they now?' Kind of stuff.
Leo: What we knew about him growing up was mostly believing he had some odd obsessions with some actors, only to learn he looks very different after being out of the spotlight for, what, 20 years?
Donnie: Give or take. Papa was very popular amongst a wide variety of people, he went to and left many events with different people if you get what I mean, It wouldn't surprise me if we had some long unknown Half-Siblings out there.
Leo: Yeah, though you'd think they would go to the media, or someone to try getting child support back pay, or something. But really I wish Dad had told us more about his time in the industry.
Donnie: Even if some of his media related advice wouldn't work in the age of social media, and the internet. He mostly told us about the on set stuff, like actor drama, the stunt coordinator not explaining things well.
Leo: A stunt guy that almost cost the production alot of money for a bad move. Typical movie/TV film set gossip stuff. Do you think Pops would ever get back into the movie industry?
Donnie: While it would be amazing thing to happen, Papa would need to get back into shape, badly. While he may still be able to pull of his old moves, he has thrown out his back trying to show off before.
They segued into talking out some of Splinters ex's, and but avoiding mention off who their mothers were, they said it's to complicated to cover, and wouldn't make sense trying to put together the timeline of events.
----------------
Masterpost
I just wanted them to toss out the canon of Splinter pretty vaguely, if only to cause chaos in the chat, and because I couldn't think of a more fitting podcast topic that I could write for a good amount without lots of research.

Care to join me in thinking about Dewther comfort sex in these trying times?
When Dew found out he was going to be touring without Aether, even for a little while this time around he got even clinger. Spooning? Not enough. Being rocked to sleep, cradled by Aethers strong arms? It's a nice feeling but not the right one. Sleeping ontop Aether like a ghoul shaped, quitessence radiating beanbag? Close...but still, it's not enough. If Dew can't climb inside Aethers chest and live there the way he feels like he needs to to feel safe sometimes, the next best thing to him is falling asleep still *ahem* connected with his mate one way or another.
Ok so, I planned, HONESTLY, for this to just be a ficlet. But turns out I have a lot of Dewther feelings. Soooo.
Never Enough
Fandom: Ghost (the band) Rating: Explicit Pairing: Aether/Dewdrop Featuring: Comfort Sex. Angst. Missing each other before they're apart. Clingy Dew. Clingy Aether. Anal Fingering. Anal Sex. Biting. Marking. They love each other, your honor. More Angst than I meant there to be. They're just going to miss each other so much. Word Count: 2k Dew's leaving in the morning. Aether isn't going with him.
Read it on AO3.

How about the alliance members walking in on (Y/n) training and they witness something similar to this training scene from Attack on Titan (Idk if you have watched it so spoiler warning maybe?)
This honestly would be routine, since the Veteran would constantly need to make sure that the human is kept in shape and to make them stronger while they're out on missions. The stronger they are, the less likely they are to get killed. If the alliance members walk in, they would be able to observe the human going through extensive training while being overseen by the Veteran. If Camron walked in, he would have his metaphorical breath taken away. The human is all sweaty and breathing hard which makes his vents let out a puff of VERY hot steam. He can only tug on his collar in earnest as the human continues their work out after nodding at him. He was just here to deliver the papers in his hands to the Veteran, as it was the human's routine physical, and he can't help but stare and tremble slightly. He had to get pulled back to earth with a loud stomp from the veteran up on the upper levels, which shook him from his mental stupor. He then gets back to work...but for the rest of the day, the visuals of the human's body plague his mind like a virus. If DJ walked in, he would also become stunned by watching the human work out on the field. Their shirt drenched in sweat and shiny from the remains of said sweat. DJ has nowhere to be and nothing to do...but BOY did he find something interesting. He can see the Veteran overseeing the human's training as they punch a large beanbag with a poorly drawn skibidi head on it, in which the human punches with all of their might and makes the training dummy shake with every impact. DJ finds himself enraptured and enthralled by the human's strength and dedication to their training. It...it definitely had nothing to do with how their training clothes were sticking to their body and leaving very little to the imagination...ha ha...oh who's he kidding? This was the hottest thing he has ever witnessed in his LIFE. If Vee walked in, he would be greeted with the sight of the human swinging on a large training structure. Their legs wrapped around the bars as they follow the unspoken orders of the Veteran observing them. With snaps and stomps, the human changed positions and held themselves up by their arms in a bar-handstand. Even from here, Vee can see the muscles of the human twitching from underneath their skin from the strain that holding themselves up in the air like that was doing to them. Vee was fixated and speechless from his position nearby. His gaze focused on every detail that he can absorb from the scene...the shimmering layer of sweat on the human, the flowing movements of their clothes and hair, the heavy breathing of their nose and mouth, and the focused look of determination in their eyes. Vee is rooted to the ground and can barely make sense of his own thoughts as the image of the human training in the sun is burned into his screen. That...that...is...distracting him, he needs to focus on his task...his...task? What was it again? When did he drop his clipboard??

It took me a minute to finally get my notes straight so I could answer this— I hope it was worth the wait! I’ll give some bullet points of tips I use to help boost my production speed in addition to the strategies I use to try to keep characters consistent. Let’s get into it!
Tumblr media
First up: How I draw faster!
Note that these mostly apply to digital art, as that’s my preferred medium.
If your art program has them, experiment with brush stabilization levels. My hands shake really bad, especially while I’m drawing, so I put a lot of effort into finding a stabilizer level that works with my need to control lines while also smoothing out the tremors in my hands. It’s made it so much easier to draw lines like I want to, and therefore lets me move on instead of redrawing the same line over and over again.
Creating templates for your art helps so much— setting up things like canvas size, color profile, DPI, background colors and images like the paper texture PNGs that I love to use ahead of time helps me get drawing faster, while I’m excited and inspired! Similarly, having a naming system for your art files is useful for speed as well as finding and organizing old pieces easier.
Having premade color palettes of local colors for characters is also super helpful for speed, as well as keeping characters on model :>
Personally, I use a single brush for lineart and rely on the selection tool and bucket fill for coloring when I actually bother to color things in. My lines are pretty loose nowadays, and the same goes for when I color things— I don't abide exactly by the lineart I draw, and get pretty messy with the selection tool and bucket fill!
I simplify character designs as much as possible— the standard design of a sigilyph, for example, is pretty complex. But I made Sen a lot simpler (and also forgot the spikes on her torso in this panel. Oops)
Tumblr media
As for keeping characters on-model…
I’m very flattered that you feel otherwise, but I actually don't keep characters very on-model between different drawings— just look at the different ways I've drawn Ark below— however, I'm improving over time as I become more familiar with how I want to draw the characters! A big part of my process of keeping characters on model is drawing characters over and over to familiarize myself with how they should look through trial and error.
Tumblr media
Learning common angles and poses I will draw characters in is very helpful for making sure they look consistent. As a bit of a downside, though, it makes wonkier angles stick out like a sore thumb! Drawing Ark with his head slightly angled downward was really hard, and I don't think I communicated it that well here:
Tumblr media
I try to have the characters broken down into as many simple shapes that fit into each other as I possibly can, like Twig’s head (circle + rectangle snout + angled rectangle horn) Ark's hair (that weird bangs shape) and Dusknoir's upper body (beanbag shape / slightly elongated circle torso, arms coming out of his frill that comes in a very particular arcing line). This makes it way easier to draw characters quickly and consistently, because I can learn those lines and shapes and get the motion of drawing them into muscle memory.
Tumblr media
Also, knowing the ways characters emote is like knowing cheat codes. Giving characters things like a signature comedic expression of shock or grin that they make when they're happy are very helpful!
Tumblr media
The biggest tip I can give on the topic of keeping characters on-model (at least without model sheets— model sheets are THE way to go. Don’t be like Sofie and neglect those pieces of gold) is really just to practice. Build up familiarity with the shapes and proportions of characters, get a feel for how your hand and wrist moves to get the lines right.

hi! my partner follows you, and showed me your first Pet Surprise post a while back. somehow i'd never heard about these toys before, and i've been enamored with them since seeing yours, lmao.
found this girlie in the thrift shop yesterday! she was in rough shape, & missing her puppies, but she was also like $2, so i took her home and am slowly cleaning her up. i'm considering getting her some replacement pups, but i'm conflicted about whether to go vintage, bc i prefer the head sculpts, or modern so they'll match her better.
anyhow i was wondering, would you mind terribly if i took inspiration from your project, and gave her a little pastel clowncore makeover? 🤡✨
Tumblr media
ohhhh that's so incredibly charming, thank you for sharing her with me!! Look how nice and tidy her fur looks thanks to your care 😭 And I absolutely don't mind at all if you take some inspiration from mine! I'd love to see the finished makeover if you feel like sharing :)
I totally get the dilemma on the puppies too lol honestly if you want my opinion at all, I'd recommend going for the vintage puppies especially if you already like the heads better. They're just made of much higher quality materials and constructed better overall. Depending on how crafty you want to get, you could possibly even make new bodies out of pink material and transplant the heads and beanbags to them so they match her better? 🤔 But this is your project lmao

Steve's nerves were through the roof as he stood in front of your apartment door. His left hand has been in a knocking position for over five minutes now, and the right held on tightly to a bouquet of roses. He didn't want to ask you what your favorite color of roses would be because he didn't want to ruin the suprise, so he asked the man who worked at the small florist shop what color would work best for impressing a girl. The man silently threw together a few different batches and after a few moments handed steve a beautiful bouquet consisting of white and diffrent shades of pink, prettily wrapped in pink cellophane paper.
He took a moment to look down at his outfit; a light blue polo tucked neatly into his jeans and a pair of Reebocks. He took his hand, nervously straightening out the nonexistent wrinkles on the material of his shirt before scraping together all his courage and knocking on your door softly. After a few moments you opened the door, and when he saw you his jaw nearly fell to the floor.
You looked so pretty, he thought, with a sage green sundress and a pair of white kitten heel sandals. Your hair was clipped to the back of your head, with a few loose pieces framing your face.
"Hi," you said smiling at him, "you look cute."
And you look absolutely breathtaking he wanted to say, but the nerves caused the words to get stuck in his throat. He swallowed thickly before stuttering out, "Thank you. You look- you look...wow." You couldn't help but giggle at his nervous demeanor, your eyes falling to the beautiful bouquet in his hands. "Oh, uh these are for you," he said handing it to you with shaky hands.
"They're so pretty, thank you so much Steve," you said taking the flowers from him and almost immediately bringing them up to your nose. Steve could swear you were an angel with the way you said his name.
"Do you mind coming in for a minute?" you asked opening the door wider and stepping aside from the entrance to make room for Steve. "I know you said four but I just need to finish dressing Sunny, she was a bit cranky this afternoon so I let her nap a little longer than usual. It'll only be five minutes I promise," you rambled, looking through the kitchen cupboards for a vase. "It's no problem, we have the whole night," he said. You turned around to face him, a big glass vase in one hand and your flowers in the other.
"Thank you," you said, "do you mind quickly filling this up with water? I just wanna go finish with Sunny." "Oh yeah sure, give it to me," Steve said taking the vase and flowers from you. You gave him a appreciative nod before scurrying off to the bedroom to finish dressing your daughter.
As Steve stood by the sink he got the chance to look around a little. The apartment was small but cozy. You had managed to make it feel very homey and comfortable. The apartment had one bedroom and a bathroom, and the kitchen and living area sort of merged together. In the living area there was small couch, next to it a big pink beanbag chair, and a TV that stood on the carpeted floor. In the middle stood a small coffee table with a stick of insence burning, giving the apartment a calming vanilla scent.
When the vase was filled with water, he carefully removed the paper from the flowers and placed them inside. The fridge in the kitchen caught his attention. There were various drawings from Sunny stuck to the door of the fridge with fruit-shaped magnets. They were a bit difficult to make out, most of them just looking like inconsistent crayon scrabbles. The biggest picture on the fridge he could make out; two smiling pink stick figures drawn messily surrounded by deeply pressed-in circles of various colours. On the bottom of the page stood "family" written neatly by you.
Just when he was contemplating asking how far you were, you emerged from the bedroom, with Sunny soon following after. Steve couldn't help but smile when he saw how cute she looked, wearing a baby blue dress with pink stockings underneath. Her hair was done much more neater than the last time he saw her; two braided ponytails with ribbons tied onto the end of each braid. Sunny smiled when she recognized Steve, who was awkwardly standing in the middle of the kitchen.
"Say hi to Steve, sweetheart," you urged your daughter on, while you quickly put out the insence and searched for your purse. "Hi Steve," she said shyly, clinging to her mother as she put her purse over her shoulder and Sunny's jacket over her arm. "Hi Sunny," he greated back the little girl, who was no longer interested in him, but in the vase of flowers that stood on the kitchen table.
"Okay, I've got everything, we can go now," you said smiling at Steve.
°☆○□°◇
Steve took you and Sunny out to a nice restaurant where he had urged both of you to buy whatever you wanted. You got a headache just looking at the prices of everything on the menu, but as soon as you opened your mouth to object he interrupted you. "I wanted to take you out," he said, "so it's only right I treat you nice. Please don't worry about the prices or anything, just enjoy yourself."
And that's exactly what you did. After a thoroughly enjoyed dinner he took you out to get ice-cream, just like he had promised Sunny. You kindly refused, too stuffed from the heavy dinner, but Sunny fully indulged, buying a three scoop ice-cream with a sugar cone and finished off with sprinkles. You were a bit scared that all that sugar was going to keep her up all night, but you decided to let it slide when you saw how happy she was.
And now the three of you were taking a walk in the park. Your were holding the heels you had worn in your one hand, the other holding on to your daughter's much smaller hand. After wearing sneakers or flats for so long, your feet still had to get used to even kitten heels, plus the small straps of the sandal were starting to hurt your feet.
The park was wonderful this time of day, when most people had already gone home, so it felt like you had it all to yourself. You and Steve talked the whole way through, about anything and everything.
He learned a lot of things about you. He finally learned your name, for once. He learned that you're not from Hawkins, and that you moved here after graduating high school. He learned that you worked as a household worker and as a waitress at a dive bar some nights too. He also learned that you loved baking and that you know how to say the alphabet backwards and that you couldn't stand it when people burped without saying "excuse me."
He could listen to you talk for hours, he was totally and utterly entranced by you. After all the crazy shit he'd seen and been through, it felt so good to have a bit of calm in the shape of you.
When you passed the playground, Sunny, who was too preoccupied with her giant ice cream, tugged on your dress to try and get your attention. "Mommy can I go play on the playground, please?" she asked looking up at you with big puppy eyes; the ones she knew you could never say no to. "You don't mind do you?" you asked looking to Steve, who scoffed. "Of course not," he said. Soon Sunny was dragging you towards the swingset.
She handed you here half melted ice-cream and sauntered over towards the swings, that were definitely meant for children a bit older than her. Steve decided to help her out a bit, lifting her up on the swing seat and pushing her, laughing at the way she would giggle and her little legs would swing back and forth frantically whenever he pushed her a bit higher.
She did this with every other object in the playground, asking Steve to either push her of something or lift her up to somewhere. You couldn't help but laugh when she had somehow convinced him to run around the roundabout a few times to get it turning. She played like this to her little heart's content, and until she was practically worn out.
□◇☆°▪︎●
When Steve's car stopped in front of the Motel, you turned around in your seat, to find Sunny buckled up tightly and fast assleep. When you turned back to Steve, you found him already looking at you with admiration-filled eyes and a dopey smile. The light from the Motel's cheap sign shined directly on him, covering him in a bright purple hue.
"We had so much fun tonight, Steve. Thank you so much," you said smiling at him. There you go again he thought, saying his name like that. Like he was the only guy in the world. "I'm glad you had fun," he said before once scraping together the courage to ask, "so uh, you think we could, you know, do this again some time again?"
You pretended to think it over before quietly saying, "Id really like that."
○■•▪︎☆°◇
Steve helped you by carrying a still-sleeping Sunny up the steel stairs to your apartment. You unlocked the door and led him to your bedroom. When you opened the door, the first thing he noticed were the strings that hung from the ceiling, multiple colored stars hanging from each one.
You took Sunny from his arms and carefully placed her on the bed, taking off her shoes. As you were busy, Steve's attention fell to the small wooden vanity on the other side of the room. On the table stood three small ceramic figurines. Two of them were small fairies, one sitting upright on a mushroom and the other hanging lazily off a tree branch. The third figurine was of a mermaid posing on a rock, her hair cascading off her back.
The table was also littered with a bunch of framed photos of you and your daughter. One was of you in hospital, smiling tiredly at the camers with a newborn Sunny in your arms, wrapped in a thick blanket. Another one was of a still pregnant you, showing off your very prominent baby bump. You were at the beach, sitting on a big towel in a sundress with a floppy sun hat and a pair of sunglasses resting on the bridge of your nose.
Another photo looked as if it were taken quite recently. He picked it up to give it a better look. It was of you and Sunny wearing matching Christmas hats, Sunny in a green and red onesie with her arms wrapped tightly around your neck. He smiled at your content expression.
By now you had quietly joined him standing by the vanity, also smiling at the memory of last Christmas, when you and Sunny had visited your mother.
"I tried to make this room more hers than I did mine," you said quietly, "hence all the decorations and figurines and stuff."
"Thats very nice of you," Steve said turning to you and smiling. "You're a really good mom to her," he added after a few moments. "Sometimes I feel like I'm not doing a good job," you said looking back at Sunny sleeping soundly. You refused to make eye contact again, rather looking down at your feet. This caused Steve to frown. "I don't think that's true at all," he said quietly, "Sunny's such a sweet girl, much nicer than any other three year old I've met I'll tellya that." This made you laugh a little. "She's as kind and as sweet as she is because you raise her well. You take good care of her and you give her as much as you possibly can under the circumstances. She's going to grow up one day and thank you for that because you're a good mom."
When you finally decided up at him again, he was staring at you like you were God's greatest gift to man. You couldn't help but feel as such too, your stomach churning nervously and your cheeks feeling hot from all the attention. "Would you like to stay for some tea? I made gingerbread," you said trying to break the silence after realizing you had just been staring at him.
"Yeah, I'd love to."
●○°☆◇▪︎○
As you and Steve sat on the couch facing each other, each with a cup of semi-cold tea, he couldn't help but admire you for the millionth time that night. You were talking about something embarrassing that had happened to you in high school, and Steve was trying to listen, but he was too focused on how you moved your hands when you got excited about something, or how you furrowed your brows and bit your lip when trying to remember something, or how beautiful your smile is. Oh how incredibly beautiful he found your smile. He felt like the best man in the world every time he managed to make you smille.
"Shit, after that, I absolutely despised gym class," you said laughing quietly, as to not wake up Sunny. Steve smiled at how pretty you looked when you laughed. It's unfair that anyone could look that pretty just existing he thought.
After a few moments of comfortable silence and the sound of the TV softly playing some old movie in the background, you spoke up again. "You know," you started, "Sunny's real name is actually Selene, like in mythology." "Yeah?" Steve said, "that's a beautiful name."
"Thank you. It's ironic actually because Selene is like the god of moonlight, now we end up calling her Sunny all the time," you said laughing, "My mom was the one who started calling her Sunshine, because she was always such a happy baby. Even now she doesn't even cry unless she's really upset you know? She's the best thing that's ever happened to me." You smiled, placing your empty tea cup on the coffee table.
"I was serious about what I said y'know? I really do believe you're a great mom to her," Steve said. "Thanks," you smiled, unshed tears lining your eyes. "Its getting late big guy, I think it's time to get going before it gets too dark," you said, trying to stop yourself from crying, giving his knee a playful slap as you stood up from the couch.
☆•°□▪︎
As Steve stood in front of your door once again that night, you couldn't help the sinking feeling forming in your stomach. You didn't want the night to end; you still wanted to talk to Steve and get to know him and laugh at his stupid jokes. But the possibility of a second date caused butterflies to flutter in your stomach, thinking about getting to see him again.
"So, I'll see you soon, yeah?," you said smiling up at him. You couldn't even remember the last time you smiled this much. "Yeah, real soon," he said.
For a few seconds you two just stood in silence, neither wanting to be the first to give the parting word. You moved a little closer to him, testing the water, and when you saw him moving closer as well you decided to give in, and leaned in, gently placing your lips over his. A few seconds into the kiss Steve's mind finally caught up with him, and he kissed you back, placing his one hand on your cheek and the other on your lower back.
After you pulled away, Steve's eyes were still closed tightly. You laughed at his theatrics, lighty slapping his shoulder. When he reopened his eyes, he instantly wished he had kept them closed, because the look you were giving him was making his knees feel like jello.
"Goodnight Steve," you said walking to your door, turning around one last time before opening it, "I'll call you tomorrow at work, alright?"
"I'll be waiting," Steve said, "Goodnight, and be safe alright? Both of you." "Of course," you smiled, opening your door, giving him a small wave before closing it. When you closed your door, you couldn't help but jump around frantically, placing your hands over your rapidly beating heart. You couldn't wait to talk to him tomorrow.
Steve himself had to take a moment to calm himself down as he sat in his car, the window rolled all the way down just so that he could get some fresh air. He looked up at where your apartment was, and a huge grin broke out on his face, his stomach doing somersaults. Tomorrow couldn't come any sooner.

see the thing is, the way my mind works i tend to develop these headcanons for madcom and the only way i can rly describe them is that they "exist in a vacuum", meaning they dont align with the worldbuilding ive developed for Nevada in my head but they're still there and they're still important to me.
like, nevadeans aren't mammals + don't have mammary glands + don't have a concept of a gender binary but at the same time i still draw sanford w top surgery scars and he is still ostensibly transmasc to me. it's stuff like that, like, nationality n orientation n things that r generally a little more staked in our reality-- hell i even have headcanons that solely have to do with the characters in a more humanoid, less beanbag shaped form, such as crackpots Actual bird legs (the ones i only draw hymn with when i give hymn a Person Body, bc they dont fit/look right on a nevadean!)
or the idea in my mind that phobos and hofnarr both speak german, hofnarr in fact as his first language- germany doesn't EXIST in nevada!! but it's still there, like it's correct to me, it just exists in a vacuum!
idk, i don't think there's anything wrong w this and it's never actually given me any trouble, its just interesting to me. i do this w pretty much every thing i get into, madcom is just my special interest so ofc it comes to mind as an example

will u share more ab the decor around the jigsquad house w amanda, adam and lawrence?
oh happily!!!
they live in some like, victorian style home painted a shade of green that could be mistaken for an office space in a neighbourhood full of them. this is the best visual reference i could find for how i picture it in my minds eye:
Tumblr media
amanda built a ramp that they placed over the stairs so it's easier for lawrence on a daily basis
lawrence gets primary say over the interior decor because he technically pays the most in terms of mortgage/bills. which isn't to say adam and amanda don't contribute, because they do, but lawrence IS a surgeon who comes from a wealthy family. so it's only fair that he pays the most, and therefore it's only fair that he fills the place with weird statues and nice pieces of art and intricately carved wooden furniture and silk pillows. and also his clock that we see in the first movie.
however. adam and amanda DO also live there so they DO get somewhat of a say. which is why the house's overall decor has the vibe of "trust fund baby going through an emo phase."
adam and amanda kept sticking posters of bands and movies that lawrence has never heard of to the walls and he decided that it was ruining the aesthetic so he had them framed and now adam's crumbled old nine inch nails poster is hanging in an expensive frame next to some painting that lawrence paid an obscene amount of money for.
the kitchen is...surprisingly very domestic and homey. whether or not the weed and shrooms that adam and amanda are growing on the windowsill adds to that or detracts from it is a matter of personal opinion. but yeah! the fridge is covered in photos of the family and drawings by diana and bills and a grocery list that has everything from gourmet cheeses written in lawrence's unreadable doctor's handwriting, kerosene in amanda's chicken scratch, and pop tarts (FROSTED!!!!) in adam's surprisingly beautiful cursive. they have one of those bread/flour/sugar/rice/coffee/etc ceramic container sets and they are ALWAYS filled with the appropriate things. erratic collection of mugs including: one that 4 year old diana painted for lawrence for father's day, the one adam had made that just has a photo of his cat (bastard) on it, the world's worst serial killer mug that amanda got mark for christmas (he tried to bring it into work one time ""ironically"" and strahm nearly had an aneurysm). shelf absolutely stuffed with cookbooks and a homemade spice rack on the wall and a coat hanger with a bunch of embarrassing aprons (they intentionally bought pink ones with heart shaped pockets or cringe ones like KISS THE COOK because mark does a lot of the cooking and they love to see mark "built like a brick shithouse" hoffman in the most ridiculous aprons they could find). sometimes they work on smaller traps on the kitchen table but for the most part that is done in the basement.
murder basement is dark and gloomy and adam hates being in there because well. it's where they make murder traps. so he tried to liven things up in the most intentionally annoying way possible by putting like, fairy lights and lava lamps and beanbags everywhere. it's tacky and they all hate it but if lounging around on a beanbag is the only way for adam to spend more than five minutes there then so be it. the lock on the basement door is all rusted and they tell everyone that "oh we can't get it open haha we just don't use the basement" which is a horrible cover story but it works so. who am i to judge. the basement is also where they store their holiday decorations so there's stuff like a christmas tree and a dancing skeleton figure amongst their tools designed to maim and/or kill. they're kind of weird.
i think amanda isn't used to being allowed to have and keep things so she's a bit of a hoarder. i said this in my mandy hcs post but she's a big reader and doesn't ever throw out any of her books, which range from big hardcovers to tacky romance paperbacks that are falling apart. the bookshelf is full so there's random piles of them all over the house and she WILL somehow know if one is missing and there WILL be bloodshed.
erratic shared vinyl collection? erratic shared vinyl collection. erratic shared cd collection? erratic shared cd collection. erratic shared dvd collection? erratic shared dvd collection.
lawrence got full control over decorating his and adam's bedroom, which adam didn't really care about because they just use it to sleep and have sex. his only request was that he could hang up a bunch of photos of them (many with diana) and lawrence happily agreed. anyway. it's all a nice wooden bedframe and matching drawers and bedside tables and like, silk sheets and an incredibly expensive mattress. they have a little ensuite and the light is ALWAYS on in there because adam can't handle full darkness anymore, let alone in bathrooms. it's kind of boring but like. whatever. let the murder gays be boring in their love nest.
amanda's room is more all over the place, there's barely an inch of free wall space because again, a little bit of hoarder tendencies. she's got postcards and photos and ripped pages from books and magazines stuck up everywhere. lots of reds and purples with the upholstery and the curtains and whatnot. she's got a little desk that's absolutely covered in sketches and trap plans and poems and letters because she's always working on something. adam is forbidden from smoking in his and lawrence's room (tbh lawrence keeps trying to get them to stop smoking in the house but they don't listen) so he usually smokes with mandy in her room.
adam's cat bastard as her own room. bastard does not usually sleep in her room in her fancy pet bed, because cats are like that. bastard is banned from sleeping in adam and lawrence's room after she ate a bird (that was still alive during) on their nice silk sheets. there are dead things in bastard's room and more toys than any cat could ever have. nobody is allowed in there except bastard or adam unless they want to lose an arm.
the other spare room is for diana, and it is constantly changing because she is a growing girl and her interests are constantly shifting. it is on the top floor of the house and has a giant window that looks out into the backyard.
ik the backyard isn't really decor but they do have a very nice large one and adam has a vegetable patch that he tends to religiously. adam's green thumb is a shock to everyone given that he once tried to serve them pasta boiled in gatorade. but. he loves his vegetables and his fruits and his flowers so love is love. they also have a hammock and a back porch with rocking chairs on it.

A stream is starting, the scene is empty, and faint sounds can be heard from where the mic is setup. The scene shifts a few times.
Donnie: Which set do you want?... Yes, it's important, you're model is going to be sitting in the scene for the stream... Also did you pick a model? Oh good!
The scene stops on a room with cute stuffed animals of different shapes, sizes, and type.
Donnie: This one? Okay, now to get the game set up.
River swims in and 'moves' the gameplay box around. And places the chat box just under it. They hover above where the model will appear.
Donnie: Okay everyone, we finally got the model fully rigged properly, and Red needs to stay off his ankle for a while, he's not used to this, River!
River: Haters with be knocked out, and maybe sent to the great beyond if they don't stay nice!
A model of Raph in his mask, with a sleeveless hoodie sitting on a beanbag slides into frame, his tail is flopped to the side. River lands on his shoulder, and lets out a happy chirp. Many amazed reactions in chat because the model is visibly bigger than the others compared to River, and because Aligator Snapping Turtle.
Raph: Oh, uh, Hi everyone, oh River you're so cute! Red hasn't seen you before. His little brothers wanted you to be a surprise.
River chirps as Raphs model gives her some pets and scratches. His model has a very happy expression and his tail's wagging fast. Chat is of course going nuts again for multiple reasons.
Raph: Oh yeah, let's start the game! What's Red playing again?
River: Pokémon Scarlet!
Raph: Yes, Red's been meaning to play that, but work, training, and events keep my schedule pretty full.
He plays for a while, taking a hot minute to customize the character, choose his starter (he chose Fuecoco, but was very close to going with one of the others). He starts to talk about his job, the other wrestlers, some of the 'story lines' they did, and events.
River: Someone wants to know if there's a women's league where you work!
Raph: Yeah, and they're all amazing! I know I shouldn't have favorites, but Star Warrior is a favorite face fighter in their league. She's so on a different level, and her moves are so cool! She's gotta whole space theme to her, and it reminds me of that one Jupiter Jim movie!
He rambles for a hot minute. Many in chat are deeply invested in him talking, others are trying to find which league he's apart of, but are not finding any known leagues with all of these stage names in the same place.
Raph: She is also an amazing person outside of the persona!
River: You sound like you have a crush!
Raph and his model get even more red, and goes quiet. River cutely and innocently tilts her head.
River: Red?
Raph squeaks, lets out a set of embarrassed chirp sounds. Chat is going nuts.
Raph: Hey, let's go to the first Gym! The bug one right?!
He avoids the question and the gets distracted by many Pokémon he hasn't seen before. He eventually goes back to talking about his job purposely avoiding directly mentioning 'Star Warrior' unless it was to mention an event or match. Chat is not very convinced, and believe he has a crush, but respect him enough to not get knocked out.

Mmmmmmm a room of your blog
I don't have a very clear image but I'll try
The room is monochrome, painted in white (floor), black (ceiling) and various shades of grey (walls, each wall has a different shade of the color) but it's not cold it's warm
Glowing stars are on the ceiling making up constellations that do not exist but could
There's a very comfy sofa in a corner with a lot of cushions on it, all have cat ears
Along one of the walls you can a glass display of lots of very delicate ball-joints dolls. They're all set up in various situations and can be easily move from one to another.
Another wall welcome a library with books, they are arranged by colors
There are a few beanbags scattered everywhere.
Another wall has plants on it, mainly climbing plants and some glowing mushrooms hanging around. A system is set up to water those. It somehow very much looks like a river but it gets the work done.
A music player sat midair stuck in yarn. It plays waterfall background music but every so often it changes to a random obscure music. It's surprising each time but very nice.
There are splatters of colors shaped like cat paws at random places.
And the door is always half open
OH MY STARRRRRSSSS-----
That's so cool!!! Everything sounds so cozy and you went into such amazing detail!!! A black ceiling with made up constellations??? That sounds so neat, totally SMT I'd want to have! *^*
You even thought of a plant watering system! Wow Blue, you really didn't spare imagination, I'd totally want to be in there-
Sounds very peaceful... Waterfall as if in, UT Waterfall soundtrack? If so, impressive you guessed, that's my go-to relaxation song! X'D
The idea of a mostly black and white room with splashes of colour from the cat paw stains, beanbags and the books?? Its really the sort of environment I'd like to have in my blog! X'D

Final 3D - Plushie Bears
Soon after creating the 2D, I was thinking of how view things from an outside perspective. We may have perceptions of something at first glance, but things are not always what they seem and looks can be deceiving. For the 3D I decided to play with people's perceptions with stuffed bears.
When looking at a stuffed bear, one may first assume they're soft and cuddly. The plush is a bear since it is the classic stuffed animal. White is used to represent innocence and the splash of colour are child-like wonder.
But there is a twist. While they may appear soft and cuddly, once felt, the user will be met with an unexpected feeling of something pointy, heavy or oddly-shaped. Something uncomfortable, messing people people's expectations.
This follows an abditive theme from an outside perspective, where things may not be as they seem. What appearance one might look from the outside may be entirely different on the inside. When looking at it from the inside perspective, one may change their outer persona to blend in with others, not standing out, and hiding what they think will drive people away.
When looking at different shapes for the bears, with help deciding I went with the classic Beanie Babies bear shape. Back in the 90s people thought these would collectables worth a good amount of money. In reality they ended up becoming so common and worthless they can be commonly found in thrift stores for a few dollars. What people viewed as valuable was in truth common plushies that had just as much worth as any other beanbag plush.
The tag also has an abditive element to it. At first glance the tag looks like a jumbled mess of text, but when making use of the red filter attached, one may see a hidden message.

SO. I got the Puppy Surprise from 2018, and managed to find a Kitty Surprise from 1992 still in really good shape with all her kittens. I still can't really explain what it is about them that enchants me so much but it's even stronger in person 😭
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I'm so in love with the face sculpts and all the little details on the older set. Even for a set of ostensibly all white cats, there's variation in all the paint patterns, eye shapes and colors, and all three of the kittens have distinct head sculpts. I also just think they have a very pleasing body shape with the back legs sort of tucked up under them.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
On the other hand, I love the sheer audacity of the newer one... glitter nose, glitter eyeshadow, glitter fur, glitter babies... not to mention she's purple which is always a winner for me. The babies on the other hand..... a little janky LOL the heads aren't attached to the beanbag bodies with quite the same care as the kittens, and although they all also have different head sculpts, the differences are more subtle and they all have the exact same eyes which is a shame. But they're janky in a way I find amusing, especially the "runt" with its ludicrously small head, so it's all in good fun.
Anyway.... interracial lesbian couple and their six children from previous marriages
