The famous hero, HotGuy, has been pronounced dead after an explosion that shook half of the town.

We have a word that CuteGuy survived the explosion, but no further information has yet been revealed on his state. What exactly happened is still yet to be determined. The prime suspects at this time are the villain duo: Martyn Littlewood and Ren Dog. If you see these individuals, please contact the authorities immediately. 

 We will all miss HotGuy. The local hero has saved countless lives and will surely live on in our hearts. And we wish CuteGuy a speedy recovery.

Skam AU?

[DISCLAIMER: è più un crossover che un AU perché sennò sarebbe stato un semplice High School AU; mi atterrò esclusivamente alla prima stagione, e alla versione franco-italiana della serie, ché non ho sbatti di vedere quella norvegese o Druck. Also non so come verrà, ci sono tanti personaggi con caratteri diversi e tener conto delle sfumature caratteriali è già un bordello, quindi non terrò conto delle varie relazioni interregionali, sorry.]

– Giorgia è Eva, Edith è Ingrid e Francesca è Sara; si accettano proposte per Jonas e Isak, pensavo a Marco e Alessandro (anche se non sono esattamente due comrades, ma tant’è).

– in short, Edith e Marco erano ziti e lei era la BFF di Giorgia, poi lei ha baciato (è andata a letto con?) Marco e ora loro due sono fidanzati, e la gang di Edith ha giurato loro odio eterno. Giorgia però vuole fare pace con lei, per cui va alla festa d’istituto per parlarle, ma lei la manda a fanculo e Gio rimane sola; qui incontra Eleonora (nei panni di Noora) che la consola, e poi, in bagno, incontra Chiara-Vilde che piange per via di Edith.

– Lei la manda a chiamare la sua amica Maria-Chris Berg per consolarla (argh, la storia dei due Chris qua non regge né ora né mai, al massimo si potrebbe fare una di quelle cose tipo ragazzo-con-secondo-nome-femminile che anzi mi sta convincendo) e cercandola Giorgia trova Gabriele-Christoffer, che si mostra subito interessato a lei, ma lei torna a casa.

– (in seguito si baceranno anche se Gabriele è fidanzato con Rosa-Iben e Giorgia stessa con Marco, scoppierà tutto il drama perché Alessandro farà la spia con Rosa e con tutti, Giorgia e Rosa lasceranno i rispettivi ziti, ci sarà la sciarra fra tutti i gruppi di ragazze ecc. poi tutte faranno pace, Giorgia chiederà scusa a Edith per averle rubato il ragazzo, tutte andranno al girl power party di Rosa e così via, insomma la storia è quella, ma magari Willhell non esiste/è un personaggio secondario che serve solo ad andarci con Chiara, e Giorgia ed Eleonora finiscono insieme come sarebbe dovuto succedere.)

– In tutto questo, la ultra badass Sana Bakkoush chi è se non Lucia? Maria la conosce a un corso di lingue e fanno amicizia, quindi lei la introduce immediatamente alla girl gang e diventa una loro ottima amica, anche se a primo sguardo non sembra; è sempre pronta a difenderle, e addirittura viene coinvolta in una rissa con Edith per difendere il buon nome di Chiara (pure se lei con la sua ingenuità è talvolta poco gentile nei suoi confronti, diciamo), e lega in particolare con Eleonora e in seguito Alessandro, oltre ovviamente Maria e anche Giorgia. Sa dove procurarsi l'alcol anche se non beve, aiuta le ragazze a sembrare più toghe alle feste in virtù della sua presenza, potrebbe ucciderti con una singola battuta sarcastica al pari di Ele e il suo tratto distintivo è il make-up on point e soprattutto il rossetto rosso scuro, decisamente Sana dev'essere Lucia.

It has been two weeks since Cuteguy has returned and almost a year since everyone’s favorite hero, HotGuy, has sadly passed away. Just earlier today a new villain has appeared- and it looks like CuteGuy will have a lot on his plate. The new villain has given CuteGuy quite some trouble, but the hero stood his ground. From the looks of it, this new villain is not going to give up easily. And by the branding- we can tell he’s working with Ren Dog, also known as the Red King.  

We advise all citizens to be on the lookout and be careful for the time being and to not step outside after curfew. 

Hopefully, the authorities and the heroes will take care of this new threat before more damage is done.

au where scar coulnt save Grian and so he became hot guy instead. and he became really popular and stuff and for whatever reason scar attaches to mumbo and protects him so bad because he couldn’t protect Grian so he needs to protect mumbo instead. see okay this was right this way. we can have silly little redscape and we can have angst.

(and also. let’s say, hypothetically, Grian… didn’t die. IF U CATCH MY DRIFY YKYK)

ohhh the guilt and helplessness and self hate. the feeling of not being good enough. of being a failure. the loss and grief.

the determination to never let it happen again.

i feel like that would make the redscape dynamic difficult to navigate (in a good, tasty way, trust me, we like angst here). since grian was mumbo's close friend. if it was scar's failure that resulted in grian's death? then again, the mutual grief could make them seek out more comfort in each other and... myeah.

ANYWAY. yes, as soon as i started reading the ask, my thought was also that grian really didn't die.

this instantly made me think of two things (although i can already see more possibilities shaping up).

one is that au inspired by stiffy's TOGH (i think that was the name?), where hotguy is presumed dead and cuteguy/grian struggles in the aftermath. (look i haven't rambled about this au here, but my version of it lives in my head. it's good.) but with swapped roles, in this case, obviously.

the second immediate thought was the rift. what if grian didn't die, because of the rift. (it's happened before.) but nobody knows. (what if he gets trapped in the rift?) (what if they don't know for months and then mumbo decides, with a sharp misguided nostalgia, to talk to grumbot, and grumbot somehow ends up telling him?) (what if mumbo thinks that maybe he's misunderstanding?) (what if scar thinks that mumbo is grasping at straws, grian is dead, we need to let go or it'll never stop hurting?) (what if-)

ahem. anyway. did you have any other specific idea? i once again kinda ran wild with this one oops.

(going to throw in a little extra bit for watcher grian enthusiasts: what if grian didn't die, but respawned in the void, trapped with the watchers again? the ones he spent years desperately running/hiding from? <3)
