For what it’s worth, it took a lot to upset Luka Couffaine. He prided himself in that. He was never one to make a big deal out of things, unless absolutely necessary. Mild inconveniences like being flipped off for accidentally bumping someone in the metro, someone cutting him in a waiting line, entitled moms berating him at his job, being made fun of, not getting his way with something; these were all easily brushed off.

It’s not that he didn’t care, he just knew there were bigger things to worry about than an asshole being an asshole. He lived in Paris, after all. A city that big was bound to be ridden with them.

However, he had learned something about himself recently: His weak spot was Marinette. His skin positively crawled whenever anyone tried to harm, belittle, mock, or otherwise wrong her. There was a second element to this pet peeve of his; he had also discovered that he hated when someone interrupted them. It wasn’t jealousy or anything. It was more the fact that Marinette being the sheer tornado of creative power that she was, was always up to something. Finding a way to squeeze himself into her schedule was already a feat in itself, so he prized every minute he got to spend with her.

Needless to say, this was the precise reason why Luka was so excited for the weekend. He and Marinette were going to spend the entire Saturday afternoon together and the first order of business was going to the park and get ice cream.

The first offense happened at the hands of someone he otherwise respected.

Marinette and Luka had set up a blanket on a spot under a big, hefty tree. The ice cream was already gone, and Luka was playing a few new songs for Marinette. He had, rather evidently, sat a bit closer to her in the hopes that she might lean against him. Which she did, inadvertently causing for Luka’s heart to skip a beat or two. Now that’s an irony, a musician missing a beat.

Sensing Marinette resting her head against his arm, Luka put down the guitar and tentatively shifted to try and bring Marinette into his arms.

Then it happened.

Out of nowhere, a blur of a person crashed down through the foliage of the tree, falling right in the middle of the pair, and effectively dissolving the calm of the moment.

“Meowch! Heh, sorry!”

“Chat Noir?” Marinette exclaimed, uncharacteristically annoyed as Luka and her crawled from the pile of cat on top of them.

Chat Noir scrambled to his feet and gave them a sheepish smile. “Apologies er, fellow Parisians! Got stuck in the tree for a second there, hah.”

As Marinette grumbled, Luka simply shrugged, smiled coolly at him, and joked, “It happens. Maybe next time we’ll call the fire department to get the cat unstuck?”

Chat Noir blushed with a bit of embarrassment, largely due to the fact that Marinette actually laughed at the joke. Luka had no way of knowing this, of course, but Chat Noir had caught glimpse of him and Marinette as he vaulted through the city and had decided it would be a good idea to spy on them by perching on the tree they sat under, which only added to his shame.

“Yeah. So uh, yep. Sorry!” he babbled again, before scurrying out of the picture.

The second offense was at the hands of Paris’ resident terrorist. And Chat Noir. Again.

After getting their ice cream, Luka and Marinette walked around the city a bit and ended up at the steps of the Trocadero, where as luck would have it, an Akuma appeared.

As Luka and Marinette scrambled to get to safety, Chat Noir cut in to push them out of the way from one of the Akuma’s attacks.

It did not escape Luka that Chat Noir scooped Marinette up and vaulted away with her. He was glad Chat Noir was fulfilling his duties and that Marinette was now at least out of harm’s way, but really, was it so hard to escort them to the nearest shop to take shelter as he had done with literally every other person at the site of the attack?

A couple of minutes after he had disappeared with Marinette in tow, he came back for him.

“Your turn,” Chat Noir said with a wink, and took Luka away to an indistinct street away from the Akuma.

Luka gave Chat Noir a perplexed look. “Where is Marinette?”

Chat Noir scratched the back of his head. “I– she must have already hidden away,” he offered lamely.

Feeling a bit irked and suspicious that Chat Noir might have a crush on Marinette, he said, “I’ll look for her, then. Thanks for keeping my date safe, Chat Noir.”

As he calculated, he saw the discomfort in Chat’s face. “Yeah, no problem at all!”

Additionally, Luka quickly discovered he was right about something else: Chat Noir had very likely put Marinette somewhere else. Not only was he not able to find her anywhere, but she was not even picking up her phone anymore.

Luka worried that something might have happened to her, his contempt for the catboy growing by the second.

“That… that… that furry!” He grumbled to himself as he tried to figure out a way to contact Marinette, hoping to the heavens that she was okay.

After the Akuma was neutralized, Marinette called him. Yes, she ended up several districts away and apologized profusely about something she had absolutely no control of which both endeared and saddened Luka.

He had noticed Marinette tended to blame herself when things didn’t work out around her, even when she had no way of controlling them.

“Hey, hey, no stress,” Luka said chuckling, as he interrupted Marinette’s mortified rambling. “We can meet back in the movie theater.”

He let a sigh of relief as he spotted Marinette waiting for him by the ticket booth. He ran to her and threw his arms around her without thought, only realizing what he did when Marinette hugged him back.

He blushed and hugged her tighter.

“I’m got hit by the Akuma after Chat Noir took me away,” Marinette explained. “Sorry.”

“It’s alright. I’m just happy you’re okay,” he said, finally pulling away and smiling at her. “So, which movie should we watch?”

Luka pointedly noticed the fact that Marinette suggested to watch a scary movie. The first time he had gone to the movies with her, Alya, Nino, and Juleka had tagged along and he remembered her adamantly informing everyone that she wouldn’t join if they picked anything scary.

He wondered why.

“Really? You sure?” Luka said.

“Yeah, you like scary movies, right?”

“Yeah, but you don’t,” Luka said. “I’m happy to watch anything you wanna watch.”

A light blush crept onto Marinette’s face again. “I wanna watch a scary movie.”

Luka tried not to entertain the thought that the reason why Marinette wanted to watch a scary movie with him was probably a plot with the end goal of having an excuse for them to hug throughout the movie. He didn’t want to get his expectations too high; he was already writing songs about her as it was.

As they took their seats, Marinette seemed to pick up where they left off at the park before Chat Noir interrupted them. She sat decidedly close to him–as close as one could to justify any casual brush of the hand as an accident— while Luka, in a sudden bout of confidence, put his arm around her.

He tensed up, waiting for Marinette’s reaction, and was pleasantly rewarded when she relaxed into his grasp and leaned her head against his chest.

“Oh, I just remembered,” she said, while waiting for the movie to start, “I have something for you.”

She reached into her purse and produced a small box.

Luka beamed at her as he picked the little gift from her palm. “You didn’t have to give me anything, Marinette.”

“I just wanted to do something nice for you,” she said, shrugging and giving him a warm smile.

He opened the box and found a guitar pick that Marinette had hand painted with little blue-and-black motifs. His heart swelled for her and found himself wishing he could kiss her.

“I love it,” he said, smiling from ear to ear. “Thank you.”

“I… I have something else for you,” she said, turning herself so that she was squarely facing him.

His pulse hitched up, realizing he wasn’t the only one wishing for a kiss, as Marinette trained her eyes on his.

He couldn’t look away. He felt as if a sort of magnet pulled him towards her, a sort of force that he was unable to escape from even if he wanted to.

A short gasp escaped him as the distance between them shrunk slowly, almost painfully. He was so close he could feel Marinette’s warmth on his skin. So, close their lips almost brushed. So close that–

“Hey guys!” an all-too-familiar voice chirpily greeted them from behind Luka, effectively and immediately interrupting them and causing Marinette to flail and throw the bucket of popcorn she had on her lap.

Luka sighed, this time at the end of his wits. Third interruption, of course it had to be at the hands of whom Luka considered to be the densest human alive. He turned around to find none other than Adrien Agreste, accompanied by Nino. Luka could do little to help himself from giving him the meanest look he could possibly conjure.

“Hey, Adrien. Nino,” he said, clenching his teeth. “What. A nice. Surprise.”

Adrien, oblivious as always, seemed not to grasp what had just transpired. Luckily, as Adrien went on about what a coincidence it was to end up in the same movie theater, at the same showing, and how cool it would be to watch it with them, it was apparent Nino knew better.

“Um, dude, actually, I think I’ll have to sit at the front this time if you don’t mind,” Nino said, interrupting Adrien’s question of whether they could sit with them. “Yeah, my glasses have been giving me trouble…”

Adrien could do little to hide his disappointment but in the end went with Nino. Luka, on the other hand, would have kept grumbling to himself even after they had left if it weren’t for Marinette’s quick kiss on his cheek, which interrupted his train of thought.

“Thanks for being so patient,” Marinette said.

Luka, unable to stay irritated so long as Marinette looked at him like that–with those bright blue eyes and cute little smile, chuckled. “It’s no problem.”

There would be other opportunities, he thought to himself as Marinette snuggled back next to him. For now, he was happy with just watching the movie and enjoy having Marinette in his arms. At one point he was even brave enough to peck her on the head, in one particular scene where Marinette hid her face against his chest with the excuse that she was too scared to watch.

Encouraged by the quick kiss, Marinette looked up to him and again, he found himself drawn to her lips. So, close he could brush his nose against her, so close he smelled her perfume. So close that–

“AN AKUMA!” someone screamed out in the movie theater hall, unchaining a mass hysteria that propelled the audience to rush to the exit.

“Of course,” he muttered under his breath as Marinette sprung up and he followed after her.

Dammit! What does a guy have to do to kiss his crush? Was moment with Marinette too much to ask?

Judging from the smug little smile Chat Noir couldn’t help but sport as he herded him and the rest of the civilians to safety, yes. Yes, it was. It took a lot to annoy Luka, but he now kept a list: Anyone wanting to hurt Marinette, being interrupted when he was with her, and the idea of cats in general. Especially black cats.

“I’m just saying, dude’s a bit weird,” Luka said, hanging out with Marinette and some of her friends a couple of days after Chat Noir’s repeated attempts at sabotaging his date, plus then some more. The story had been quite the laugh for everybody and the group now heatedly discussed whether they knew of other couples Chat Noir liked to sabotage, much to Marinette and Adrien’s mortification.

Adrien, Nino noticed, was quite uncomfortable with the topic. He squirmed in his seat and went to great lengths to not cross glances with Luka.

“Yo, you okay?” whispered Nino.

“Huh?”

“You seem a little… uncomfortable.”

“I’m fine!” Adrien hurried to assure him, but then resumed being consumed in his thoughts. Great. Marinette’s boyfriend now had it out for him for accidentally having interrupted them a time or two.

Okay, maybe it had been around ten times so far, but in his defense half of those were due to Akumas and the rest… Well, the rest were just... you know, “accidents.”

Nino did not comment so as to not add fuel to the fire, but he suspected that Adrien was not only lying, but had finally realized his feelings for Marinette. Nino chuckled to himself, feeling a little sorry for Adrien. Poor dude had the timing of drying cement.

I couldn’t include the part where LB kisses Luka because that sent me into outlining a multi-chapter angst fic and we are NOT doing that cause these babies deserve happiness :)) but alas, here you go

Thoughts & Reaction to EPHEMERAL

Well, my throat hurts from all the screaming. It's another long one, probably the longest I've ever written, with pictures, just a heads up! But you probably already expected as much lol. Opening scenes, so Gabriel can actually hear a person's negative emotions, like their crying or their words of anger? Wow. How can you hear your son cry in Glaciator 2 and still do what you do?! Gabriel messes with his ring as he's giving orders to Adrien, yes, but there's also another constant in such cases: Emilie. He's getting desperate to akumatize Bob Roth and while he's thinking of doing that, he messes with his ring because it's this much closer he's coming to bringing her back to him. "Honor my work and the memory of your mother." Instant guilt. Do you think Adrien would hesitate to do what he's told after that? Because I sure don't! That reporter is horrible, I can't believe she'd talk about his mom like that, what is wrong with her?! "All my father has done, he did it for her." *cuts to akuma attack* Oh Adrien, you don't know the half of it. Good lord. The poor boy has to have someone watching him, talking into his ear, when he does these kinds of events. Ugh that makes me feel so gross.

Okay, who's driving the fire truck? Answer: Purple Tigress! In Ladybug's vision, she's looking around for what to do. All the highlighted people have a role we see (Viperion and Carapace on the truck, Polymouse the distraction, Vesperia and her Venom. But no Purple Tigress who was also highlighted, so she's the driver! In case anyone wanted to know c: Viperion having to keep doing the codes over and over omg that'd be awful. At least it was only 100 tries (poor Adrien and his 25,319 times 🥲) Of all the people Ladybug was with when Su Han showed up, it's great it was Luka! (now he also has to see what she puts up with) "What if he's doing whatever he wants with it, acting like Shadowmoth?" I mean... he did use it to destroy billboards, does transform to get out of the house and see the people and all that stuff, but like... nothing bad? Su Han: You have to know his identity! Me: So I see you don't know about Chat Blanc yet. But seriously, I actually agree with him. She does need to know him. This episode showed as much, and things could always get worse than that. But that's all, he does not need to know about her. Not until Shadowmoth is no longer Shadow/Hawk Moth/any Miraculous. Luka: As long as (Shadowmoth) doesn't know who you are, you're not of interest to him! Marinette: Exactly... but if we need to, a superhero can know the identity of Chat Noir...or mine, but not both! Luka who knows both: 😬Well that's not good... At this point in time, Luka already knows. And Luka even said himself, why doesn't he just go himself? She said Chat Noir would only tell her, but I bet that's not true. Luka could go to him and just tell him he knows already, but Ladybug can't know that and that she sent him to ask about it and why. It'd be perfectly fine that way. Obviously, if we had that, we wouldn't have an episode. So we need to take from what we do see this episode, and learn what the problems are in this situation. "But not both" ding ding ding, oh, if only you stuck to this later on this episode! Ladybug and Viperon are so cute, I love them as friends. x3 Kind of awkward though when Luka's kind of spying on Marinette talking with Adrien and he knows it the entire time. 😂 Chat Noir: Oh no, she wants to talk to me. She's probably going to be so mad that I didn't show up! Ladybug: I need to talk to Chat Noir to find out his identity, something he's always wanted. He sure didn't see that coming! Meanwhile, during their conversation, Luka's like HURRY UP, TIME'S RUNNING OUT! Chat Noir: I am... Adrien Agreste. Ladybug:

"Yeah, and I'm Audrey Bourgeois! You couldn't be more different!" You totally nailed it, Ladybug! lol "....Plagg, claws in." That beat of silence kills me. 🤣 Ladybug: I can't know who Chat Noir is, we have to erase me knowing. Also Ladybug, finds out he's Adrien: Nope, nevermind, I'm not forgetting this! Luka: I hope she knows what she's doing. Well, she did. Until she revealed herself. "I'm Ma-Ma-Ma-" nice shout-out to her "I'm ma-ma-madly clumsy!" scene in S1! Also her eye twitching when she says it. XD I love how Adrien is like oh don't worry, just tell me when you're comfortable! Like BOY I LOVE YOU, YOU PRECIOUS CINNAMON ROLL! So sweet and understanding to his Lady awwww x3 "So... you know who I am, and where I live..." "Uhh, I have to go and think. See you later!" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Adrien, you were not just about to suggest that she comes visits you now. Oh my gosh! This. This is her face when she's leaving.

"As long as he doesn't know who I am, it's okay! I'll do everything I can to keep it that way." This was true. Things were fine. And then she did what she knew she shouldn't and exposed herself! Do I blame her? Nope, not at all. Do I blame him? No, he was in his own room thinking that he could say what he wanted to his girlfriend. I mean, he's been able to avoid being caught as being Chat Noir so far, right? But what if the reason Gabriel went in Adrien's room is because he can sense he's super happy now? Is what keeps Gabriel away from him his sadness? x.x "You can openly show your love for Adrien!" "It's not that simple, Tikki. I'm in love with Adrien, but I don't love Chat Noir." Okay Marinette, so all the looks you've given him when you think he's not looking over the seasons, the flirting back, the anger you feel when you think he loves someone else and not you anymore, the jealousy you've felt since season 1 of Chat Noir gets close to some other girl... what's all that? Friends don't react that way about friends. It's amusing Marinette having to come to terms with the idea that the boy she loves is the boy she has been saying she doesn't love, and doesn't know what to do. But she's like, I don't even know what to think at this point. Meanwhile he's literally climbing and bouncing around the walls all over his room with excitement lol "She's going to get to know the real me!" She already knows Adrien fairly well. xD Ms. Bustier: Can you tell me who wrote 'I am a cat' ADRIEN YOU CAN'T BE OUTING YOURSELF NOW THAT LADYBUG KNOWS YOU DORK! "Meow meow!" Seriously, I'd like to think this is just Marinette's mind thinking these things, but it actually looks like it's really Adrien. And the look on her face in that moment is priceless, like "What have I done."

Honestly I feel like it must be such a shock. In her mind, she saw them as completely different people. Struggled so much to tell Adrien her feelings who behaved one way (who Adrien says himself is the real him. I think he's just a mix of both, like is the same with Ladybug and Marinette). Then when she's Ladybug she's dealt with all sorts of issues and things with Chat Noir that are entirely different from Adrien. Now suddenly, she has to get used to the idea that these two very different boys are actually the same. *runs into Adrien* "Sorry, I'm so uncomfortable... uh, I mean clumsy! Very clumsy." awww it's like Origins again! Love the throwback. But poor Marinette's seeing him acting like Chat in her mind (I love the filter to emphasize this) and after that she just can't deal and runs away. XD The way he gets up and throws his hands out to his side like "what did I do?!" cracks me up! Poor boy doesn't understand but dang lololol

I'm so glad Luka knows. Obviously, him knowing saved everything, but she also has things she can talk about with him that she can't with Alya. Tikki suggested talking to her about Adrien being Chat Noir, and Marinette knew she couldn't. So the next day, it's Luka that comes to her seeing her distraught and knows exactly what's wrong. "I'm under the impression that you don't hear the same song anymore when you look at Adrien." "Luka, have you ever thought you knew a person, and discovered that they had an unimaginable secret?" "Yes." "And has it not completely changed the way you see them? Because they are not the person that you knew anymore." "No, quite the opposite! After the surprise, it allowed me to get to know them better! And to love them even more..." I like this. He's pretty much helping her see the situation from a different perspective, one that she's still too stuck in that "surprise" stage to see. Now she gets to get over that stage and help her really see, thanks to Luka. Also the fact that based on this, you get the sense of she knows he knows, but they won't speak about it. Which I honestly really like, it kind of shows their deep level of understanding between them. I feel bad for Luka but there's nothing that can be done and he knows that.

Do you have to hurt me like this, writers of Miraculous? Ladynoir has been my favorite side of the ship of for the past 4 years. Chat Blanc had adorable Adrienette and a Marichat scene which I loved, but not really any solid Ladynoir. Then we get this! But what happens? It gets taken away because she had to reveal herself too even though she said she shouldn't. Dx To think we could've had episodes with these soft Ladybug-looking-at-Chat-Noir looks for awhile 😭It's like here, she's kind of able to blend Chat Noir and Adrien together and realize that she loves both. (I still think she's going to have to know by season's end anyway, based on the finale synopsis. By then, maybe something will change so she sees Chat differently due to Chat's efforts. So I just need to be patient a bit longer.) Ahem. Welp, I'm Adrien Agreste. Famous model. Images are all over Paris with my face on it, and I even just had a press conference where everyone was watching me. I'm supposed to be in my room right now, but my dad doesn't know that I'm not, as I sneaked out of my room to be Chat Noir. It's also nighttime, when I'm really not supposed to be outside and am likely to be seen with photos taken of me. But I'mma detransform and walk home, that sounds like a good idea! 👍 Seriously what in the world is that boy thinking in this moment?! When Adrien called Ladybug "m'lady" she knew she had to say something and was ready. Awwww but darn it Ladybug you know better than this! You might be ready, but the situation isn't ready yet! Blushing Adrien kills me oh my gosh! He didn't even blush at all in Chat Blanc! Now he's a blushing mess and I've been waiting for this for so long since it's always Marinette that blushes like crazy and I wanted it to be reciprocated! Why would you give this to us and then take it away?! Why?! AND THE ACTUAL HEARTBEAT! He's in such shock! He doesn't even know what to say, just freezes in place with his jaw dropped and his face as red as Nathaniel's hair! "Well... say something!" *silence and he looks like a deer in the headlights* Awww poor boy, at least Marinette's had a few days to process. He's like what is even happening right now it's her. But now she's shy because she's worried the silence means disappointment. :c "I just discovered that one of my best friends is the one that I love and admire more than anything in the world!" Awwww one of his best friends, that's so sweet x3 And it's so weird how this feels like one of Marinette's fantasies (like the one in Glaciator 2) only it's actually real. I don't know about you, but I'm really glad they went for a hug here instead of a kiss. It feels more slow that way, more realistic. In Chat Blanc, we were supposed to feel like some time had passed from them getting together, to Chat Blanc's akumatization. This time, this covered more of how Ladybug views and thinks of Chat Noir and Adrien being the same person, and what would cause her knowing him first to end badly. And in this case, it's not her knowing him that's bad, but her deciding to go against revealing herself because she knows who he is. Obviously, them dating would have to wait until Gabriel's not Shadow Moth anymore, but her knowing is super important for attacks and other situations. One of their problems is, when they both know, it clouds their judgement for some things, because they're too happy to think straight. xD

The way these two act is actually pretty telling. While the situation itself with them feels right (or right enough) based on how it's handled, especially in comparison to Chat Blanc, it still feels off. Like something's missing here. And then the way their Kwamis are, you just know this still isn't the right time.

Adrien: I'm so HAPPY and in love. Hearing this novel is so wonderful! Marinette: I'm so tired I just want to sleep right now when will this class end. Lol But awww the note passing is so adorable x3 The one disappointment I have is Alya and Nino not looking over like WHAT THE HECK HAPPENED but I mean, maybe we'll get that when we really have this moment. 🥲 Their. Phone. Conversation. Felt. So. Natural. And. CUTE! Oh gosh please please please, give us this for real soon. 😭 I think 5 years is long enough to wait. But I have to keep reminding myself that with each one of these what-ifs, you notice the situation gets better for them. And I think we're almost there. (I'll have a separate post about this in just a bit!) Also he's still blushing. He blushes like crazy every time he's around Marinette now. There was never a situation where he blushed like that around Ladybug or Marinette, and now here we are. Every scene he's blushing! x3 Okay what if: Marinette was the one to hang up instead of Adrien. Except, Gabriel still would know that somethings up with them and we'd probably get a close repeat Chat Blanc situation where he'd force her to break up with him. But maybe that time would be different since they both know about each other and would hopefully be more likely to communicate. Maybe. But this was probably the best scenario from the second Gabriel walked in that door and overheard. :/ Has he ever heard of knocking? Makes you wonder why he went in there originally though, doesn't it? If he sensed Adrien's feelings and wanted to know why he was so happy, that sucks. The animation in this episode is amazing and I'm loving the details. Like how Adrien just woke up so he's moving kind of sluggish and not fully aware yet. Adrien found out his mom's just lying there in an unknown state one second, then the next he finds out his dad is Shadow Moth. And no Ladybug there to be any kind of comfort this time. Thank goodness he akumatized him as Adrien and not Chat Noir. Here we are, seeing that zoom-in of Shadow Moth playing with his ring (that's not actually there, but just shows a force of habit). He does that whenever he thinks of Emilie, and a lot of the time that's when he's akumatizing someone or is about to akumatize someone. Like in his subconscious, it's his way of thinking "I almost have you back." In Mega Leech, he does that when Adrien ruined his plans. We all know Gabriel doesn't do anything, especially anything major, without it being a huge Shadow Moth scheme to try to get their Miraculous. And Mega Leech was not part of that plan. Adrien blew it for him, so he's thinking "I could've had you back had it succeeded." There's also something really significant with the rings we still don't know. As Amelie said, "Those jewels have always been in the Graham de Vanily family, not the Agrestes." Not to mention, he did have his ring stolen off his hand, I imagine something special like that, and having the last one, would cause a person to me more conscious of it to make sure it's still there. WOO PLAGG! He tried to Cataclysm Shadowmoth I'm so proud lol I LOVE THAT LUKA JUST KNOWS EVERYTHING OKAY 😭 I adore Luka. I love their friendship, it's just so sweet, caring, and it saved the world. What more could you want from a friendship? The animation when she's screaming "no" and wiggling around trying to break free O.o who animated this episode? I really want to know, it looks so good! Chat Blanc: Yeets Chat Noir across Paris into the Eiffel Tower. Ephemeral: Yeets Marinette across the room. Can this man stop yeeting these kids like that? Dude. I don't care if you think you're getting your new reality or whatever, the fact you think that's makes it okay.... x.x Luka bursting into the bakery is one of the best scenes this show has ever had. Joan of Arc? Interesting! I wonder if she went back to her own time after that and thought about this weird other Bug holder lol Chat Noir, why are you so shocked Viperion detransformed into Luka. You were the one to suggest him in the first place. 😂I guess it's the shock

of seeing someone detransform in front of him like that? It's amazing what Adrien would do for Plagg. When he has to eat that cheese, he acts like he's holding back throwing up omg poor boy "Chat, chat, CHAT CHAT !" This...this is beautiful. 👏👏👏 "It's very pretty! What was that?" I- This scene is one of my favorites of all-time. Not even joking. "What did you want to talk about, back on the Eiffel Tower?" "Ah! Nothing important. Let's keep falling." ":(" So um. That felt weird. Not sure if it's in a "foreshadowing that it's actually very important that that conversation takes place again, only later on" way or if it's a "I'm not even important enough for her to talk to me about something that seems urgent...:c" way. Ugh. The Ladybug and Su Han pound it is adorable and I love their bond being better, especially after losing Master Fu. But I really don't think he was wrong in this case. At least, she really does need to know. The situation they saw that day proves as much. Imagine something worse than that coming up? Like she said, she just couldn't let him know about her until Shadow Moth or any variants of him are no more. Overall I absolutely loved this episode, no question. Obviously very sad the reveal(s) and all didn't stick but now I feel like seeing awkward Marinette around Adrien and Adrien acting all casual with her just doesn't feel right anymore (I watched Felix and a part of Mega Leech to touch on parts of this post.) It felt super weird to see them not acting like they were here to me. Which I think goes to show how well done and natural they felt in Ephemeral! Gabriel Agreste is next week, and I'm looking forward to it! Honestly ngl I kind of like Felix's character in terms of how interesting he is. I'm looking forward to seeing how the interaction is between he and Adrien, and how Marinette/Ladybug will react to having to see him again. As well as of course hopefully some more info about Emilie and seeing what brought Felix and Amelie back to Paris!

Thoughts and Reaction to GLACIATOR 2

Watched it earlier but didn't have time to rewatch for a second time while I write a post up like usual, so it's a little late. Also a heads up, this is a really long post. Like insanely long. I'm so sorry, but this episode was PACKED. Wow, so right off the bat, if it wasn't for Chat Noir being distracting with his flirting in Oblivio.... Chat Noir wouldn't have been so hurt this episode. 😬 Actions have consequences, who knew it would be such a big one...

The flirting in Oblivio led to distracted Kitty who Ladybug was distracted by causing them both to get hit and lose their memories, which led to the kiss, which Alya took a picture of, which ended up all over the internet that was then used to push Ladynoir as Couple of the Year with said picture everywhere, which led Chat Noir thinking he could try his usual flirting distracting ways to sway her, which this time she wasn't going to let Oblivio happen again, so she threw him in the trash can (that she called his basket, kitty in a basket omg) to keep him from distracting her and putting himself in danger to take care of the villain herself. Which... does make him feel he's not as needed, but at the same time I don't blame her for needing to get him out of the fight. He should know better by now that it's really dangerous. Also super curious as to what got Glaciator akumatized at the beginning of this episode.... "What the heart has forgotten, ice cream remembers." Wait. If they got blasted, they wouldn't have remembered what happened in Oblivio... would they? Hmmm. Interesting concept. o.o "Wait, if we kiss, maybe we'll get our memories back?" Yeah okay, I totally see why she'd want to throw him in the trash bin. Not only because he's super distracted, but he knows where she stands on a relationship with him and to keep talking about kissing like that isn't cool. I don't blame him for wanting to keep trying - especially since in these forgotten memories they know they have that they were together to know it's very possible and was being talked about at that moment - but everything about that scene from the situation to the timing of it and what's going on just calls for him to be taken out of the fight at that point. Ladybug's anger at Glaciator because he keeps pushing Ladynoir 😂

*He sees her start to walk towards him, grimaces, then hides. 🤣 I absolute lost it when he was crying out jostling in that bin while she pulled him up onto the roof and threw him out. XD This Ladynoir scene gives me angry girlfriend vibes. Which... is exactly what she says she doesn't want, but come on. And here we go, a total 180. I went from laughing away to going OUCH POOR KITTY Marinette's sure getting super angry and defensive about everyone talking about Ladynoir as a couple or assuming that they had been one. I get it can be irritating, but this is even worse than when she got all upset when she thought Chat Noir moved on so easily from Ladybug to Marinette. Adrien: Nobody can help me Kagami. Uh huh, we'll see about that. :D But really, he started to cry and had to contain his pain long enough to get out of the car so he could deal with it before going home. x.x Adrien's breaking my heart this episode. As soon as Adrien sat down, I said "This is where the akuma usually comes" expecting it to just cut to another kind of scene, and then it cut to Shadow Moth's lair. Which I wasn't actually expecting to happen! And because I was watching with my sister and said that, I missed Adrien's sobbing the first time. Rewatching it again, I get to hear it, headphones and all. That absolutely BROKE ME. To think I'll be hearing the English dub of it later... ugh. "Immense disappointment doubled in guilt." Which are really awful, but notice he doesn't mention heartbreak? At least our boy's heart wasn't broken and he still had hope deep down! Marinette: I want to pay to remove the billboards of Ladynoir! I love how Marinette walks by whistling and he's just so curious about what she's doing that it took him away from his thoughts. xD Also, I guess it makes sense with everything going on with Adrien at that time, but not once did he stop to consider that the boy she was talking about was him, when she literally just saw him, acted all nervous and jumbled, and gave him a gift she just so "happen" to have to cheer him up. I thought the gift scene was real until the pink bubbles. Then I was like "DANG IT, NOT AGAIN!!" She's like "NO WRONG GIFT! *yeets potter's wheel into trash like she yeeted Chat Noir into the trash earlier* It's not the ideal gift!" "It's a shame, a really beautiful potter's wheel..." BOY THEN TAKE IT, IT'S FROM MARINETTE :D "It's place is in the trash with the other things that are better to forget." Wow it's a good thing he doesn't know Marinette is Ladybug because that would hurt way more than that comment already did. "Ending up in the trash, I see..." well he was feeling a bit better temporarily, anyway. Gabriel? Being a good father for once without selfish motives and asks how he is, also wanting him to know that if he needs to talk, he can come to him? Whoa, what's going on :O Usually French Plagg gets on my nerves but he was adorable in this episode. x3 "I don't want to live like my father! A prisoner of a memory that is no longer! Wow. This really hits deep on a personal level. I love that Kagami pulled up seeing that Marinette's talk with Adrien didn't go well and had to step in. I was wondering where Kagami's sudden interesting choice of words was coming from when usually that kind of talk is more Marinette's thing. Never ever would've guessed the reason we got such awesome Marichat today was because of Kagami. "Find someone you don't have feelings for. You can practice your seduction technique on that person without your emotions bothering you!" "...Isn't that a little bit weird?" "At least it's less weird than what you normally do!" I...I can't 🤣🤣🤣 "This method is a proven method; there are even books about it!" Me, thinking she means actual books with studies backing it up, because she's Kagami: 🤡 "Okay, but what if the person who I'm telling it to falls in love with me?!" 👀 Oh. I smell the foreshadowing from this part of their conversation. Also I totally love their friendship. It's sad that when she's with Adrien, she just completely irks me but when she's with

Marinette, it's like she's a different, more likeable person. When it's the three of them together I think it's cute too. Remember Marinette wanting to pay to remove the billboards? Chat Noir: We won't stop until we have deleted all traces of my love for Ladybug! (You know the reason he's doing it is because his guilt about how Ladybug's feeling seeing the pictures, rather than him not wanting to see the picture himself. Even though it makes him sad.) Also poor Plagg, there were 11 billboards just in that one shot alone. :/ "Chat Noir! He's the ideal candidate! There is no way for him to fall in love with me! Well, the other me, yes! But not the real me!" Again with the foreshadowing! How many times are they going to hint at Chat Noir falling in love with Marinette in this episode? Tikki observing how weird it is that he's out there without an akuma and she's just like OH WELL seems normal enough to me! CHAT NOIR! MINOUMINOUMINOUMINOU 🤣🤣🤣 "Is there a problem?" "No, but I do need something from you... I just need a lover." Chat Noir: A lover?! O.O *Weredad flashbacks* NOPE I'M OUT Listening to her explain and him saying he doesn't love anyone, I could hear a faint siren in the background. What interesting detail :O "Dear Chat Noir..." "Marinette, sorry I feel honored, but like I told you I'm in love with no one at all." Lies but you're trying, poor boy. "Yes, of course, but I'm not talking to you, but to my lover who isn't my lover yet!" Right. She's not talking to you, but to her lover, who happens to be you. But neither of you know that yet, so it's not to you. 🥴 "Ah, I understand! But since you said Chat Noir, I thought you were talking about me." Oh but Chat, the first thing she said was it was supposed to be directed at the guy she likes, which she's said isn't you. You mistake that she likes you here, but in other situations you deny it? Aw boy. "What's the name of your lover?" "That's private!" "Well that's not really helpful." omg were you hoping to help her if you knew the guy, Kitty? "Okay then. Buttercup." "*laughs* Wait, his name is Buttercup?" "Of course not! It's not his real name, it's a code name! *pushes him to sit down*" oh dear she's already getting frustrated lol LOL he can't get over the codename Buttercup. 🤣 Also now I can't help but wonder if he's going to find out that Buttercup = Adrien and then he'll know what that means and freak out. Back in school, I had a codename for the guy I liked who unfortunately popped up at times silently without me knowing he was there. Somehow he found out what his codename was, either he figured it out or someone told him. His method of letting me know he knew was absolutely brilliant and entertaining but I was so beyond embarrassed and I never spoke of it again. For entertainments sake, it'd be hilarious if Adrien found out. But for Marinette's sake I sure hope he doesn't think or learn about it until after they're together. *music cuts off, Mariette's eyes go wide...*

It doesn't matter how many times I see this face, I burst into laughter. What the actual heck, Adrien! "What's going on, are you hurt somewhere?" 🤣 "Oh no! It's only my serious face." WHAT KIND OF A SERIOUS FACE IS THAT, YOU LOOK HORRIBLE. Seriously, you're either bursting into laughter giggling at "Buttercup" or you're looking like you can't stand the person that's speaking to you. Is there no in between, Adrien? *interrupts for the forth time* Sorry Marinette, but what face do you want me to make? IDK MAYBE ONE THAT ISN'T DISTRACTING AND INTERRUPTING HER EVERY TWO SECONDS. "But you said-" "Oh yes! I know, but what you feel isn't important! Because I'm the one who's training! Act like you are interested a bit in me! It never hurts to be interested in others from time to time!" Okay so like... in this context, her saying "act like" implies in a romantic way, right? Then her saying it never hurts to be interested in others from time to time... so is that yet another hint he's going to take from her to be interested in someone else? 🤔 "Dear BUTTERCUP!" oh the frustration. *Chat Noir interrupts yet again* I mean. I can see why Ladybug loses her patience with him, I'm so sorry. 😂 "You didn't let me finish." "I know, but the way you open your mouth is so moving. *launches into descriptive in-love language*" "Ugh, it's too much now. 😑" It's always been too much, Marinette. It took Chat Noir saying it to you to realize? xD *Marinette starts again, Chat Noir starts to interrupt yet again* "WHAT NOW?!" "Well, this time I'm under the impression that you are madder at me, than in love with me!" Gee, I wonder why. 😂 I've actually lost count at how many times you've interrupted her! 5? 6? Well, Chat Noir delivering those lines sure showed her up. And showered her how bad they sound. XD "Let's take a break. *simultaneously suggests going to the cinema*" Are you... are you two serious right now? The movies? You know, that in this show has been used almost exclusively as the place couples (or unrequited lovers end up hoping for something more) go to? And you both just thought that'd be a good idea for some reason? Oh you adorable dorks. The way Marinette looks at him when she knows he doesn't know it's Ladybug/when he's out of sight is just... girl why. Why do you have to do this to yourself. FRIENDS DON'T LOOK AT FRIENDS THAT WAY. No romance, no superheroes. Let's watch this sci-fi/fantasy type film! *has romance anyway* It always be like that, huh.

Chat looks genuinely sad. Marinette just looks done with everything. xD The facial expressions and body language in this episode are absolute GOLD. I've never stopped to look and laugh at so many in a single episode before. Marinette talks about how saving the world is easier (or ahem, must be easier) than telling someone you love them, you just use the Miraculous Ladybug and what's broken is fixed. Because once you do tell someone you love them, and it doesn't work out and they don't love you back, "The cataclysm is in your heart and Miraculous Ladybug can't fix it." Wow, that's deep. I love how she's opening up to him and explaining how she gets around guys when she likes them. That's good info for him to know later. Chat Noir: "I also like hamsters-" Random theater guy: "And I like to watch movies in silence!" EXCUSE ME DUDE. I'D LIKE TO HEAR THAT CONVERSATION. I'VE WAITED SINCE SEASON 2 FOR HER TO FIND OUT THAT CN OR ADRIEN LIKE HAMSTERS AND YOU INTERRUPTED THAT, HOW DARE YOU! THAT'S THE HERO(es) OF PARIS YOU'RE YELLING AT. That could've been the conversation where we could've found out the name of what she wants her hamster to be! 😤 His baton had an umbrella built in. Who knew! But look how much effort they put in to giving us an umbrella scene with these two. When they get to her house it stopped raining. Very purposeful, very meaningful! "It's funny, because I'm the opposite of you." Ahh yes, that Yin and Yang at play. "I wish I could love someone else, but it's impossible." Nothing's impossible! Especially when the girl you love is right next to you and you don't even know it. Not sure how things will go with this, but this episode sure hinted at him potentially falling for Marinette an awful lot. "And now because of that, she hates me!" "She doesn't hate you, Chat Noir!" "Today she threw me in a rubbish bin!" It was purely to keep him under control, he was being a distraction during an attack and a distraction is dangerous. "You're a good Kitty, I know that you will find a solution." As she takes his arm ahhhh. And ooh, see now this makes me curious as to what this means. What's he going to do? Andre, it's okay! You're not wrong, Ladybug and Chat Noir really are meant for each other. She isn't even being romantic with him and they're talking about Ladybug. This is why it's bad to assume! "Thank you for traveling Air Chat Noir. We're hoping to see you again very soon!" Oh? 👀 You're hoping to see Marinette soon huh? Ngl was a bit disappointed that it was a goodbye kiss, but that was the most natural goodbye kiss these two have had so that's really nice. Also interesting how the main akumatization (not when the episode starts, or an almost akumatization) in the episode happens with 5 minutes left in the episode. That's an unusual turn of events. OOPS Ladybug was so peeved at Chat Noir's antics that she didn't give Andre the lucky charm. See, those distractions are dangerous!! "Glad to see you again! Uh, my dear friend that I respect! And for whom I don't feel anything except an honest and uninterested friendship!" "Are you making fun of me?" LOL these lines! But actually, the "glad to see you again!" caught my attention in the way that, well, it sounds like he wasn't expecting to see her again at least for awhile? An akuma just showed up so that's really interesting, she doesn't flake on akumas. Then when you know Hack-San takes place after this and that's a whole other thing and makes so much sense for his behavior in that. x.x Lucky Charm! *actual car crashes down* But wow, she came up with her plan based on memory of something somewhere else in the city. That's amazing :o *screams out the sports car window that he's driving at 14 years old* STOP IT WE'RE JUST FRIENDS"

Excuse me. But I'm pretty sure this is not a "Oh yes, we're just friends!" look. Ladybug sees his efforts already. But what's he going to think if he catches you look at him like that one day, hm? When these two go to get their licenses, watch them both get it with ease. That's so impressive. Chat Noir threw himself out a speeding sports car. O.O I get he has the suit but NO FEAR. "Good riddiance (aw :c)! I am ready m'lady! Uh, it doesn't bother you if I call you m'lady?" "No, no problem! You know, if I tell you something is bad then stop and that's it, it's simple!" I mean she's right, it really is that simple. A lot of people could keep this in mind about a lot of things 😛 Everyone over here wondering how she's going to throw an entire car in the air. Ladybug: Duh, I'm just going to throw the car keys, that's all I need to do! We probably should've realized from episodes where she's only thrown part of a lucky charm into the air lol. xD Chat Noir: welp bye Ladybug, I still need to help Marinette! Who would've thought we'd have an episode where Chat leaves Ladybug to go see Marinette instead. 😂 Ladybug: yeah well, I need to get home before you get there so I better go too. "What's wrong is that doesn't sound like me." Yeah no, these attempts have never sounded like you! But this one: "The day we first met... I judged you badly. I found you pretentious and superficial. And I got to know you better, I saw who you truly were inside. Someone gentle, honest, and generous! And ever since then, I've been trying to tell you something! (Except every time I try, it's like my brain is breaking!) 🤦But this time, I think I'm ready! I love you." 100% authentic Marinette, super meaningful and deep, it made Chat Noir go from smiling to an expression that was touched, even though it wasn't meant for him. And them telling each other that anyone would be lucky to love them hahaha come on guys, wake up! "MARINETTE?!" "AH, that's my dad!" Chat Noir: Lol NOPE not again! Adrien's in a much better mood now, which is wonderful! And I see you over there adorable DJWifi. Marinette getting kidnapped by Kagami Part 2. "Did you do what I told you?" "Partially, I didn't get to the end but-" omg what was the end? o.O You already said "I love you", what else was there to cover? Using his name? Darn it Tom, why'd you have to interrupt and scare Chat off! "Perfect, I was worried because it's a risky technique!" well girl why'd you suggest it then? 😂"While training with a guy, you might fall in love with him..." I mean... is this the foreshadowing of her really starting to fall for Chat Noir? Did this episode really give us numerous examples of possible Ladynoir/Adrienette/Marichat verbally announcing to the audience reciprocating feelings for each other in the future? Kagami: Proven methods that work to seduce a boy. Also Kagami: I didn't finish volume 3 of the manga I got the idea from to know if it was a good idea, but I just learned it's risky because you could fall in love with the boy you practiced confessing to. Well. I mean, because of all that, Chat Noir's in a better place, which means Adrien's in a better place and will be changing how he expresses his feelings. And Marinette realized that her method of expressing her feelings is wrong, too. All from a manga. Who knew? 😂 "I thought you gave up on Ladybug." "Marinette opened my eyes! In fact, with her I always play my role of being Chat Noir!" OHHHHHHHHH. That's big right there! He's saying he's really comfortable with and feels like he can be himself with her, and he now knows and acknowledges it! {✔️} Marinette's super important to him and he'll do anything to make her happy. {✔️} He'll always be there to protect Marinette, having shown he'd even sacrifice himself for her. {✔️} He feels the most comfortable when he's around Marinette. Hmmmm. What does that sound like? I wonder.... 🙃 "Maybe if I show Ladybug who I truly am, she'll fall in love with me." She already knows you as Adrien and loves you, so yeah, that'll do it! I wonder if at that point she'd figure it out

who they are by piecing it together. If she's not going to have to find out who Chat is first, that is. Also Plagg is so done with this. I don't blame him, that's got to be beyond frustrating knowing.

Probably my favorite ending card to date. Very simple, but a lot of meaning in this! Ladrien looking at each other, Marichat being back to back (and super close that it looks almost cuddly lol you dorks) while Ladynoir faces each other and Adrienette faces each other, but not really looking into each others eyes. Very interesting! This was an insane episode, so much to observe and take in from it. I also really hurt in this episode because of Adrien's pain, but laughed a crazy amount from it too. It felt very rounded and great, I absolutely loved it! Maybe it was for the best we got this episode right before Ephemeral. To soften the blow that sounds like is coming. Woo, I'm not ready! :D

Thoughts and Reaction to DEAREST FAMILY

I've been looking forward to this for a long time! Then Glaciator 2 was announced with a trailer and I sadly didn't look forward to it as much. (I mean can you blame me? It's Glaciator 2.) But! My jaw dropped and I shrieked in surprise more than once in this episode, so it definitely was worth waiting for. Also a couple of scenes really left me squealing lol First off, skipping the Portuguese dub theme... imo S4's theme in any language is bad, but I admittedly cringe with Brazil's. I'm sorry, I just can't. I really hope it changes for S5 in all languages. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" it was great before so why. x.x Okay so assuming he got the charm from... Mr. Pigeon? In one of the episodes we haven't seen yet, likely Gabriel Agreste? Literally the only reason Hawk Moth got more powerful and became Shadowmoth and got as far as he has is because of Nathalie. She won't let him give up and presses him to think of solutions he wouldn't otherwise, or offers the solutions herself. Miraculous Ladybug never fails to make me wish my French family passed down all the food recipes and traditions. I never knew of galette before and now I really want some! Croissants, macarons, crepes, galette... I'm missing out. Tom and Rolland hugging was so sweet awww. Tikki's Plagg mode: activated! We thought Plagg was bad when it came to his Camembert, but who knew Tikki could be worse? ALSO is this why Plagg gets so desperate for his cheese all the time? Because if he doesn't, he knows he'll go around destroying everything to get his food? o.O You know it's bad when Tikki's asking Marinette to break the rules and possibly get in trouble for her. And the fact that all the Kwami know Tikki ate the food that was supposed to be for them. Reminds me of a certain Kwami who ate all the cheese that was meant for the others, and another certain Kwami got annoyed at him for it...:P Tikki: HOW DARE YOU ACCUSE ME OF EATING THE GALETTE! (even though I know I did) BECAUSE THAT'S SO RUDE! Sass: You don't know Tikki as well as you think you do. Okay but now I'm just wondering what all secrets Plagg and Tikki are keeping from their holders. Not just the typical ones about their identities, but who knows what all they're hiding.... Also, did anyone else ever picture a situation where Tikki made all the Kwami cower and huddle together in fear? Because I sure didn't. o.o Mind blown. Panicking Kwami's... Sass being the Kwami in charge is one of my favorite things. He fits perfectly with Luka's character. Also really appreciate how the other responsible Kwami that take things seriously and keep calm are Wayzz and Barkk. LOL Rolland hitting Mayor Bourgeois with a baguette to keep him from taking the last galette 😂 The man's got nerve. I'm super curious about what's going on in the background behind Gina. Did Chloe secretly want the galette? 👀 I thought she was against everything at their bakery? She seems mad Andre's empty handed. Gina: HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARINETTE, I GOT YOU A MOTORBIKE. What a cool grandma. Okay but does this mean her birthday's coming up soon again? So does that mean Adrien's is too? 😮Because it sounds like it's upcoming and she's just giving it to her a bit early...for some reason. 0 to 300 Km/h in 5 seconds? I get 14 year olds can drive scooters and motorbikes in France, but holy...I think that's a bit much. o.o Also are we foreshadowing to future Ladybug with this motorbike driving around Paris like Robin with this? I was super nervous the whole time that Marinette was going to get busted for something happening to the galette. So glad that didn't happen, phew. The fact that Marinette is scrambling around trying to catch Tikki to stop her from revealing herself and getting her into major trouble. Wow it just feels so wrong! Tsk, tsk Tikki. Also the animation of her getting dragged into the Miraculous, away from food, such a Plagg mood. Ravenous Ladybug scares me. Seriously, the image of her creepy wide smile will haunt my dreams. I hate it. XD Okay, if one of those akuma had to win to raise Marinette, 100% should

be Qilin. The others have their more selfish reasoning, Qilin just wants what's best for and what Marinette thinks is best for herself. Tikki made Marinette steal. She committed a crime. What the....o.O Also Mayor Bourgeois is like, yes, finally, the galettes! Now Chloe won't be angry! And then whoosh. Literally being dragged away from the food omg what a meme. But really, he's about to take her Miraculous and she's just like FOOD. MUST EAT. Thank goodness for Chat. Also thank goodness he knew something was going on. Would like to know how he knew, but probably someone reported an akuma running around since there are 4 of them. xD That app sure is handy. Dude. Even akumatized you can't take her motherly feelings and instincts away. Weird to know so many Parisians have now seen Tikki.... My one disappointment with this episode: I wanted to see human form Tikki so much. But that's okay, maybe someday! Plagg and Tikki switched roles this ep for sure. He's all oh it's happened before, but don't worry, we'll fix this! Who are you and what have you done with Plagg. But his Sugarcube was in trouble... Chat Noir's ring flashed when he used his Cataclysm. What does that mean? :o Tikki: PLAGG DARES DESTROY MY GALETTE? I'LL JUST MAKE ANOTHER, THIS TIME WAY BIGGER!! Tikki was afraid Marinette would like her less if she knew that this happens to her? 😭Of course Marinette would never, but that's sad. I love how this is an episode where Marinette needs to help Tikki this time. Ladybug: We have to find the object the akuma is in that akumatized all four of Marinette's family members. *lucky charm tells her the answer* Ah of course, the akuma is in the galette, at home! GIRL YOU LITERALLY JUST EXPOSED YOURSELF ROFL. 🤣 Just casually said it like it was no big deal. "At home?" Seriously her excuse is way too weak. Good thing he didn't stop to take the time to question it because wow, that was bad. Is she really even trying to keep it from him anymore? lol Chat: Since I'm the king, want to be my queen, Ladybug? Ladybug: *giggles* With pleasure, Kitty. Traditions are traditions! Chat: *puts the crown on her head* Yeah, no. You were loving that Ladybug, don't make up an excuse. 👀You want to be his queen. 😇 So wait. Chat Noir = King Ladybug = Queen Adrien = Prince Marinette = Princess These dorks. I love it. Tikki really be like, I'll be fine but you better give me galette throughout the year to make it to Galiete's Day. So is galette to Tikki what Camembert is to Plagg now? MOVE OVER CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES, GALETTE'S COMING AND IT AIN'T LEAVING. Aw they asked her what she thought at the end. And she got a scooter instead! A lot more age appropriate imo so good move. What a nice episode, it was funny with its cute moments. But was also quite shocking too, so cool to see more things with the Kwami's and their history! Next episode: Glaciator 2! Followed by Ephemeral. Omg am I even ready for these?

Thoughts and Reaction to ROCKETEAR!

It's a long post, but when are these ever really short? xD Seeing Carapace first made me so excited. I've been sad we haven't had much of him in the show. And then I saw that it seemed like Ladynoir was doing pretty good as they only had Carapace helping them this time. More S2 & S3 like. So I was like cool, cool, this is great. But what the heck scientist WHY ARE YOU BRINGING TYRANNOSAURUS REX'S BACK! Obviously she's going to be something big later on, she's too nicely animated not to be back. Not to mention Bob Roth's plans. Anyone else both intrigued but also scared at what that could do later? Big upcoming plot point, I think.

I screamed awwww because this is everything. I've wanted a LB/Carapace and Marinette/Nino friendship bond in this show since season 1. This scene made me incredibly happy! I'm a huge Nino fan, for those that don't know, so you can imagine how much I love this episode. Even though sad Nino.

"Alya, everyone has to believe that you will never use the Miraculous again!" End of episode: So anyway... So what I'm seeing here is, Alya's not fond of the idea of being just a spy, not being in on the action. Even though it's Ladybug's plan. Chat Noir isn't fond of what's going on right now either, where he thinks what's going on is all Ladybug's plans. Alya makes the decision to not do what Ladybug wants and tells Nino she's still Rena Rouge. So what's Chat Noir going to do to go against her? Because that's coming up on the horizon. Despite everything being easier for Marinette since everything's not just on her shoulders now, she's still been unable to play video games with her dad, and we know how much she loves doing that. :c That's really sad she doesn't even have time for her family anymore. DJWifi over here being all adorable. "You don't love me anymore!" Me: *Chat Blanc flashbacks* Alya suggests her new content could be Chat Noir edits and Marinette's like YES DO THOSE. Then those edits helped push Nino into thinking she was into Chat. Big oops. Not gonna lie, the rewind freaked me out for a moment. Last time I saw that was Chat Blanc so I thought something big was up. But nope, it's just like that scene in Puppeteer 2. Ugh poor Nino! He knows something's bothering Alya, but she won't say what it is and her behavior's too off from how she normally is. Poor guy. x.x Grumpy Nino that Carapace doesn't get attention and then they wrote his girlfriend with Chat Noir. I remember when Alya was grumpy for a bit about Rena Rouge not getting a party to celebrate her. Movie Ladybug telling Movie Chat Noir that he's better with Movie Rena Rouge. Is this a reference to the episode in Avatar, The Ember Island Players? Getting strong vibes when Play Aang and Play Katara were like, we're just friends nothing more and it's great! Play Katara was extremely into Play Zuko. I can see why Ladybug dismissed the movie (or was it the previous one since it's been awhile? Maybe?) because Rena Rouge and Chat Noir???? The writers (of the movie) just wanted to be different because everyone can see Ladynoir, unless they're blind. Alya and Nino are Andre's favorite couple. YES THANK YOU. I mean they're not my favorite because Love Square. BUT they're my second favorite next to them. Those kids are super adorable but definitely that kid playing Chat wasn't doing Nino any favors. First picture Alya shows. Chat with a heart tail. Yeah that's not doing her any favors lol. Nino: UGH CHAT NOIR'S COMING IN BETWEEN ME AND MY GIRLFRIEND. I KNOW, I'LL CALL MY BEST FRIEND TO VENT TO ABOUT IT. Best Friend Chat Noir: Best Friend Chat Noir: Welp maybe I should see what's up. Maybe I went a little to hard on the cat charm and she's fallen in love with me. Me: Oh oof here we go. Also can I ask, if anyone knows, who animated this episode? The fluidity is great and it looks really pretty. But it doesn't quite look like SAMG's work either. Whoever did it, I love it. S2 Chat Noir: You're not replacing me with a turtle, are you? :c S4 Nino: Who would want a reckless turtle as a partner? BOYS STOP. But yeah this whole scene had me laughing so hard XD Very dramatic and I love it. Nino's hilarious even when he's worried and sad! I would've absolutely loved to have heard this in English with the old English voice of Nino, but the new one worries me on whether or not he'll do a good job sounding like Nino and less high-pitched and whiny. :/ New York Nino was great but S4 Nino....x.x THE TRANSITION BETWEEN HIS INNER MONOLOGUE AND SPEAKING REGULARLY AGAIN ��😂😂😂 Brilliant! It doesn't really feel like Miraculous Ladybug this episode, and I love it. Not that I don't love the show as usual but wow this is great. Okay, I want to point out that Chat Noir

probably was more worried about it than he would've been otherwise because of what happened with Marinette in Weredad. It probably made him more cautious about this sort of thing.

LOL Chat's sulking because Alya's laughing at the idea of being interested in him. 😂😂 I know that's a blow to one's ego and all, and he's dealt with this kind of thing a lot so I do feel bad for him, but that is his best friend's girlfriend and he definitely doesn't want her to like him. Alya: With him it's not just ❤️it's *makes massive hand gesture indicating she loves him deeply* SO SO SO CUTE OKAY ALL THIS DJWIFI 😭 Alya: And I don't even know your secret identity! I would never fall in love with someone I don't know. Chat Noir, literally fell in love with Ladybug, whose identity he doesn't know. Well Alya, I wonder if you saying that matters for later somehow.... o.O Nino running away crying is honestly one of the things that hurts me most in the entire show. Ugh. Adrien over here being all, I'm having a good day. I'm happy and smiling and it's great. And then it wasn't. Adrien, if Nino let him and didn't interrupt, would've told him about how Alya really doesn't love Chat Noir, and that would've seriously led up to his identity being exposed since Nino was watching and filmed them. o.o Did you notice how he was going to tell him about it? S4, the basement is where it's at. Adrien: Uhh, when did you arrange all this? Nino: *pounds fist on desk* I ASK THE QUESTIONS! 😂 So like. Why is Nino interrogating Adrien when he's after Chat Noir? He doesn't know they're the same person. XD He's looking at him like Adrien has info he's keeping or something omg.

Also again this animation is so nice. Adrien, feeling uncomfortable and so turns the music off. Nino, wanting his dramatic music on while he interrogates Adrien, turns it back on. Adrien, feeling even more irritated and uncomfortable, wants the music OFF and turns it off. Nino, turns the music back on. This may be a reference to something, I don't know, but lolol it's so funny. This episode is both super hilarious and super angsty! Honestly they've done such a good job in my opinion. Nino: I'm talking about something that I shouldn't tell you! ...but I'm going to tell you anyway! Alya's Rena Rouge and I'm Carapace! Okay but the way Adrien went from shock to utter anger, knocked his chair back and grabbed Nino's shoulders like "Tell me the truth. You two know about each other?" Aw man, my poor sunshine boy. A lot of the stuff bothering Adrien is all circumstantial, none of it is to purposefully keep him in the dark. And yet from his perspective, that's how it looks. "I thought secret identities must be protected at all times! If that was the truth, you would never tell me this!" Alright so three things. If he's referring to him saying that Nino and Alya know about each other, that was situational and important info for him to know now that this is out. It wasn't important to know before this. The time it happened was dire and was really no time to get around it. If he's talking about Nino telling him the secrets, well yeah that's not supposed to happen and Nino broke that trust. But also, I get the feeling pretty strongly at this point Adrien's going to be breaking some rules too and one of which is he's going to tell Nino who he is. Adrien's being too emotional in this scene to not be involved in it all, I'm wondering if that's going to be questioned later by Nino. He's acting like he knows too much to be a random viewer of the heroes like the rest of Paris. Also Adrien's best friend just totally dissed Chat Noir and went off about how he throws himself at Ladybug whenever he sees her with roses and love confessions. 😂😂😂 This is just too funny! "But he's always rejected because Ladybug finds him annoying! And she's completely right!" Omg Nino, that's not the reason anymore, shush! "And then Rena Rouge appears and he goes *tickles under Adrien's chin* hey pretty lady! You look elegant and you have great perfume." OMG does Chat Noir actually say and do stuff like that to Rena Rouge or is he just exaggerating here XD "If I could I would shut his mouth forever!" Yeah Nino, say what you really think about your best friend in the entire world. Yikes poor Adrien though. I never imagined he'd hear all these bad things about himself from his best friend directly like that. :/ That's a major misunderstanding of him. Which kind of pushes me more towards the "he's going to tell Nino" theory. Sad Adrien transformation DDDX Alya: *explained everything about why Chat Noir went over to her house in the middle of the night* Marinette *facepalm* Ugh that Chat Noir... Well at least there will be no misunderstandings there! xD "Chat Noir, you stole Alya from me! I will steal your life from you." Good lord man calm down. You can't just kill a man! Fanon: Chat Noir gets attacked by a guy over Marinette. Canon: Chat Noir gets attacked by a guy over Alya. Time to go back to the basement! lol Nino's music's still playing xD And the video is left with it paused on Chat Noir hugging Alya. Marinette looked a bit sad, but it was probably more about the situation being a mess rather than being sad he'd hug her. Meanwhile, Chat Noir's fighting Nino and would rather get beaten up by him than fight. x.x "I can't believe that I doubted you." "I can't believe I chose to do anything but be with you!" She wiped away akumatized Nino's tear just like how Ladybug wiped away akumatized Chat Noir's. ALL THE PARALLELS 😭😭😭 But that hug is so sweet!! Nino broke off the akumatization just like Alya did :o Dang, I wonder if that means something later too. "Love and secrets do not go well together, Ladybug. And I'm sure you have a lot of

them!" Secrets = from Chat Noir. Love = for Chat Noir. Yeah even Shadow Moth knows at this point. xP Thanks for that foreshadowing. Nino's charm is my favorite charm so far! It's my favorite shade of blue. Chat Noir: Everybody has doubts sometimes...even me." Ladybug: Is everything okay, Chat Noir? Chat: Oh yes...pound it!

So um. The placemet of Adrien's poster in between Chat Noir, Ladybug, and just with this entire situation feels very strange. Very intentional. But no clue exactly what that could mean..... Nino and Alya are happy over there watching those two, like they're waiting for them to figure things out or something. But really, Adrien should've talked to Ladybug when he could still do so calmly and be reasonable. I doubt that's going to be the case later on. And honestly Ladybug doesn't even know what's going on. Every episode we've seen really either has them working together or she's unable to be Ladybug when he's unable to be Chat Noir most of the time. I've said it before but these two really need to communicate. Nino and Alya are like a less adorably romantic version of what they'd be. "But they're a couple and they know their secret identities, so why does that rule exist for us but they can know?" Very simple. Because they were temporary holders and the Miraculous they had, Hawk Moth hasn't made it his life's mission to obtain, unlike them, who are permanent holders and Hawk Moth's been after them fiercely to make a Wish that could destroy everything. But. The fact he's asking this, and Marinette's Chat Blanc nightmare, really points in the direction that he's going to eventually find out that while she's thought about telling him all along, Chat Blanc's kept her from doing so.

Okay, so while it looks like he's staring up at the moon, if you notice, it really is just one of the pink bubbles.

Now, they could be making it seem like it's the moon though to give it a double meaning. But poor Kitty, he's feeling so awful right now over in that dark corner Dx Nino felt bad for only two episodes? and it got resolved, so hopefully this all won't last too much longer for him! Marinette had a few shaky episodes so hopefully he'll have a few before it gets resolved. But somehow I think that may be wishful thinking. This episode was so amazing, honestly. Wonderful writing, made me laugh a lot, aw a lot, and hurt a lot. It focused on the core 4 characters which I've wanted more of for a long time. The animation was beautiful. And it just felt so different in such a good way. Chat Noir's having a hard time right now, and I know there's a lot of anger and hate about it going around. But please, think of this as him hitting a rough spot in the road to a much better and brighter future. He's going to end up okay, he'll understand it all someday. And that day's honestly not that far for him if you think about it.

Thoughts and Reaction to Crocoduel

It's super late and I'm exhausted so I may not be as usually detailed lol Nino's expression when Rose lied to Luka about why Marinette wasn't there. xD I love how he's so involved. And yeah, trying to get Marinette to go to the party like she wouldn't know what Alya's trying to do lol She's Ladybug, that kind of thing's not getting past her!

Yes Alya, that's why she's Ladybug!

Honestly, it's such a bad situation for her to be in. Luka's been akumatized twice because of his feelings for her. The thought of her being around him makes her believe he'd be akumatized from the reminder of seeing her. And she cares about him to not want to have to be the reason that happens to him and having to fight him. Not wanting to cause him pain so she avoids, I get that. But at the same time, things like this need to be talked over first and decided on rather than assumed. "A talking trashcan? Cool!" Why is this something Adrien would say lolol Poor Juleka needs to learn to speak up if she's not happy or comfortable with something. :c She feels so isolated and ignored a lot, but a lot of that is she's too quiet and doesn't speak much so it's easy to not hear her when she does say something. The way Luka was so happy that Marinette would be going to their birthday party. 😭 Jagged throwing himself out the window and hits a wall, and Luka being like "Uh... yeah he's a bit odd..." but Anarka wasn't even phased XD Guess he's always been this eccentric. "I'm so happy everybody's coming!" Me: 💔 Not everyone comes of course, *cough* Adrien *cough*, but we all know it's because Marinette's coming. xDD Yeah Marinette's flight-or-fight response kicked in real quick! Gave me That's So Raven vibes too. "*crazily crashes into something* I'm okay!" Just the fact Gabriel Agreste knows so much about Marinette's relationship that Adrien doesn't even know about is so messed up honestly.... Like he legit knows about their relationship history. So when she's with Adrien one day, that's something he can judge her for. 🤦 Luka, almost gets akumatized but all his friends remind him how Marinette reacts when things are awkward and they all love him, with a hug. Juleka, almost gets akumatized feeling guilty and bad she can't just speak up and caused problems (that aren't even her problems), but Marinette lets her know she never should've asked her to keep Luka away from his own birthday party and gives her a hug. Jagged & Anarka, okay guess someone's gotta get akumatized today. I forgot only Chat Noir and Ladybug are supposed to know Jagged's their dad lol I couldn't imagine being at a friends party and suddenly walks in like the most famous rockstar and he says he's my friend's dad. But not even Rose knew! Juleka never told her :O "Oh...I should have known better..." LOL Shadow Moth in this episode is a bit different, but funny. xD "You need to talk to your father, that's how you fix things." Ahem Marinette, is this some foreshadowing of what you need to be doing with Chat, hmm? "*pops up out of seemingly nowhere* JAGGED!" Everybody's scaring this man. Shadow Moth you should be taking notes from Jagged on being a father. He's a better father than you and he wasn't even around, now it sounds like that wasn't fully what he wanted to have happen. Sounds like Anarka broke Jagged's heart. :c Lol it's going to be interesting to see all the excuses Alya comes up with now XD Marinette definitely needs help in that department. "Chat Noir, where are you?!" as she's being chased by 2 akumas. I'm sorry, Chat Noir can't come to the phone right now, he's busy getting his makeup done. I was wondering why he wasn't at the party, so this makes sense. Sucks he can't attend his two friend's birthday party. If you think about it, Adrien probably asked but was denied. So Gabriel knew something would happen there and got the akuma ready for it. 🤦 Poor Adrien doesn't realize important info he's giving to Hawk Moth by talking about things normal kids should be able to tell their parents about. xP Wow Ladybug got hit by a cannonball and smacked into and went through a wall. Wow that's gotta hurt. 😬 "Bugaboo, do you promise we won't be like them when we get old together?" "For that to happen, we'd need to be a couple first, Kitty!" Hmm. Chat Noir hasn't been like this for quite awhile now. And her response seems a bit different to it than usual. Shadow Moth: So uh...now what? Guess I'll have to wait this one out. Hm. "Evidently

their love has died." "Yes, but that's not a reason to stop talking to each other." "*gasp*" Okay, I know what you're thinking from this scene, but this was just him realizing that this situation applies to him and her words are what he needs to do. Probably. "Luka, don't stay here. We'll talk later! I mean, it isn't safe!" So that went right over Chat Noir's head (no questioning at all why she'd need to talk to Luka later?) but I think Luka might've noticed. He just stared after them and didn't even acknowledge Chat at all. He may or may not start sussing things at this point, we'll see. Okay so I totally love Roarr xDD These Kwami are so adorable and interesting! x333 And Purple Tigress is SO FREAKING COOL!! I think appearance-wise she's my absolute favorite. o.o Chat Noir: You're a tigress? Meow! That means we're almost family! As he's almost cuddling up on her. And it's a wonder why Ladybug for the longest time didn't believe he actually loves her. And it's no wonder Nino says all those things about Chat Noir in Rocketear I mean ooof Adrien.

Yeah, that was my reaction to her power too. Except poor Chat looks like he feels his power is weak in comparison to hers. :c But then told it was his turn, he was super thrilled to Cataclysm it. xD Poor bb. They emphasized Chat's ring beeping. But Ladybug hasn't had that problem even once.... I wonder if it's because she's the Guardian now? Yay Juleka's starting to speak up and speak louder! I can't wait to see this episode in English! Juleka talked more and louder back in the early days of the show, but she gradually became more quiet. I'm glad this experience and Ladybug's advice is going to help her overcome that. Ooh Juleka and Jagged's father daughter moment at the end 😭😭😭So sweet! Luka: "When are you telling Adrien how you feel?" Marinette: "Oh uh..." This is what I was trying to avoid! Luka: "It hurt way more not talking to you than talking to you, Marinette" Oof I know how that feels. Sometimes you'd rather deal with the pain with them around as your friend than have them out of your life altogether adding even more pain onto it. Yay Marinette and Luka can now be friends without her worrying about him. Or at least, so it seems. So that's great! It looks like this episode was animated by SAMG, it looked really pretty with some nice fluid movements! It definitely looked different to me than previous episodes this season that also looked nicely animated, so I'm really not certain, but this one looks more their style. This episode was really nice, felt more like a classic episode! Chat Noir had a lot of importance in this episode and we even got a classic flirt scene from Chat. It did have that "to be continued" feel to it, like it's just a piece to a puzzle. And Purple Tigress and Roarr are so cool I hope we see them more soon. Now to get prepared for Wishmaker on Saturday.

Thoughts and Reaction to WISHMAKER

Oh I'm so excited about this one! Marinette's little soft looks she gives Adrien in recent episodes before snapping herself out of it is adorable. Not overwhelming, just nice. Poor Adrien doesn't know what he wants to do. But the thing that hurts me most (probably because I was always in the same position he is in, so understand more than hurt from it) is the fact he thinks that with Ladybug adding more people to the team, he won't be needed and thus won't be Chat Noir anymore. OOOF it hurts! Poor Adrien doesn't realize that if Ladybug didn't give these Miraculous out, Shadow Moth would've gotten their Miraculous from them a long time ago. I rewatched all episodes out now in chronological order, and it's so obvious she cares about him and could not be able to do what she does without him. What needs to happen is for her to not only tell him that, but express it somehow for him to believe it.

"Come on, Plagg. It's time to start thinking about our future." OUR future. He's including Plagg in that future. Good! I definitely understand what this episode is trying to get across about jobs and careers, but a majority of people can't and never end up doing a job or career they love and gives meaning. Some struggle just to find something they can do with their circumstances, much less something that'd make them happy. A very good message though to encourage young kids to look into many interests and try to find what you enjoy to life to end up doing that makes an impact on the world to spread the positivity and happiness. Hey hey hey Alec, how dare you go after Andre the Ice Cream Maker?! But good on him for not letting it affect him at all, he's doing what he loves so the criticism doesn't matter. "Pistachio and pecan for the clear-sighted young man!" "Who? What young man?" "Hello Marinette." I love Luka so much and Andrew's voice is so smooth. x3 I've wanted to learn the violin for years, I have one, but have never been able to do much with it. Luka having and playing his violin makes me incredibly happy (and adore him even more). "Whoa. You definitely have a gift for finding the right words at the right time." "Adrien." "Ah, well, most of the time." LOL But this entire scene. Luka saying you haven't told him about your feelings have you, her noticing he's sad, and Luka being like let's go talk to him and help him then! Just. AWWW! Poor Adrien has so much pressure to find something he wants to do or his dad will make him do what he wants instead. That's going to make it even harder for him to find something... I remember a spoiler from a long time ago, of Adrien baking with Marinette. What if he finds he loves it when that happens, and it's what he wants to do? :o Ahahahaha when Luka goes and sits next to Adrien, Adrien looks up at Marinette expectantly to sit down too. Probably thought by him. but she went the safe route and went next to Luka. xD Adrien, thinking he knew what Luka and Marinette want to do. Luka knows what he wants but it isn't what Adrien or the rest of us thought. Marinette thought she knew but now she's not sure at all. So all three are kind of confused and it's complicated. Life's complicated. Have you noticed, this is the most honest Marinette and Adrien have ever been about something so deep and personal to them? And they're able to do it around each other. Because Luka's there. He's like their emotional guide to help bring them closer and I love it. "Nothing, my mind is empty!" "I'm completely lost!" - Marinette and Adrien say together. Dang. When Luka explains Marinette and Adrien's "inner music" that felt like the most deep and personal scene this show has ever had. "You two will eventually find what's already in front of you," he says before he knew. As they look at each other. Oh lovely foreshadowing moment here. "But you can't hear it clearly, just let the melody flow." In other words, let things happen as they should. Don't force anything. If it feels right to do something, do it. If it doesn't, don't. sync, the surprise at the tune, the contentedness, and wordlessly looking at each other before getting up and sitting closer. Such a beautiful scene, this has me in awe honestly. "I've wasted my life!" oh I'm sure that hit hard with some of us older viewers. :c I have trouble sometimes not thinking this way, but there's always still time to change how things are. Hey, hi there, son! I absolutely lost it LOL this was brilliant! And the way he runs away on his hind legs it's too much XD "Hey Adrien, go hide behind that tree!" and then he drags Marinette along to hide her. So funny he's the one taking control in this situation. He's really shown his superhero potential in this and Optigami, even when not suited up. oooh Marinette wasn't where he brought her. That was sus. "HEEEELP I DON'T KNOW HOW TO SWIM!" "If we get hit, we'll reveal our secret identities!" "What do you mean, m'lady?" "When I was six I wanted to be the Knitting Fairy, and the Knitting Fairy didn't wear a mask!" The fact she's distracted and Chat Noir had to be paying attention to pull her to safety was such a Ladybug move. What do you mean you're not needed, Chat?! Obviously you are! Also she's giving you information about herself! LISTEN. She never used to and doesn't have to tell you these things, she's choosing to! And she even asked about you and your childhood! "You must have just forgotten!" or didn't have one. I honestly didn't have a dream as a kid, either. I don't know, I never wanted to grow up and be anything in particular that I thought I could do. I didn't have wishes of things I wanted to do for fun much either. I don't know why exactly, but I had a dad that's enough like Gabriel so maybe that's why. (My sister proceeded to tease me about being a sentimonster, since there's that "Adrien's a sentimonster" theory going around). "But Dad, crocodiles know how to swim..." "I didn't when I was a kid!" THIS SCENE XDD I love it! "If Chat Noir and I get hit, you must come back to this exact moment." Yeah it was at that point my suspicions of Luka finding out about them both seemed to be very likely to happen. "Nobody can know about our secret identities." At this point I was going omg omg omg omg the entire time lol The fact that Adrien would decide to have his identity revealed so he could learn more about himself to help him in the future. o.o This poor boy! And here's Luka finding out about Marinette being Ladybug! The dramatic zoom in! Viperion goes "Marinette?!" literally with Chat less than a foot away and he doesn't even budge. He's really that sad he's not even paying attention to what's going on Dx Okay, Ladybug calling on her Lucky Charm just to have the plushie squeak in her hand got me lol "My childhood dream is being what my parents wanted me to be!" Adrien seems happy. And he's himself, it looks like, so I don't know if we just got it cut off short or if he is exactly what his parents wanted him to be, so he's happy knowing that information?

This back and forth between a serious moment and a hilarious one! Shadow Moth's horrified Adrien's Chat Noir lolol not even the same kind of reaction that was in Chat Blanc when he found out . Okay but back to Luka. I think he was much too far away to hear what Adrien was actually saying, but he can see that it's Adrien standing where Chat Noir was.

The realization that Chat Noir is Adrien.

Understanding exactly what it means for Marinette to be Ladybug and Adrien to be Chat Noir. It's interesting how the people of Paris were able to still have jobs that was as close to their childhood dreams as possible. The man that wanted to be Santa makes toys. Mr. Banana wanted to be a cucumber and while he's not one, he wears a Banana suit every day. Jagged wanted to be a crocodile so the closest he could get was to have one as a pet. Marinette wanted to be the Knitting Fairy and look at all she can knit and sew! Alec: "When I was a kid, I just wanted people to be happy!" so sad that his bullying made him want to make others miserable instead. But it's nice that he wants to start now trying to make others smile and be happy c: "Sorry Alec, but when you're a superhero, even your dreams have to remain a secret." But she told Chat Noir hers. If that's not her going in the direction of outright telling him who she is....! Please let Luka be the one to help Ladybug with Chat Noir and Adrien with Marinette. Please. They need it. They have to have Ladybug realize her feelings for Chat and be willing to tell him everything. And they need Adrien to open his eyes and realize his feelings for Marinette. Once those things happen, they'll be okay. Except Adrien still doesn't know what his dream is because that was taken away by Second Chance. Personally, I think his dream of wanting what his parents wanted him to be, is what he already is. He just doesn't know it. As for his future, that can be up to him to start finding! "Thanks to you, our secret identities were persevered and nobody discovered who Chat Noir and I really are..... uh, not even you, right?" "Not even me. Luckily Wishmaker never hit you or Chat Noir." LIES Funny that he was "Truth" before, but now he's spitting lies. HOWEVER don't worry, I understand very much why he's lying and with the way Marinette is, this would be something she'd worry about and obsess over and Luka doesn't want that for her. He knows he can handle it, and she'll find out about it later when she's meant to. I just think it's ironic and funny lol And ooooof the way Luka's face fell after she left. Poor bb. "It was nothing, Marinette. You know you can always count on me." Luka's going to be Marinette and Adrien's best friend in a way that Nino and Alya just can't be. I can feel it. "We're all okay. Thanks to Ladybug and Chat Noir."

Oh. Oh you dorks! It's like they somehow know deep down they're Ladybug and Chat Noir with that look at that line. They're looking at each other like they know to some extent... I'm sure nothing happened in an episode we have yet to see but, it feels a bit weird, don't you think? "I may not remember my childhood dreams, but that's okay! It's time to focus on the future and find my inner music, like Luka said!" AWWW good for you my precious sunshine boy! Keep being you. Also Adrien's disturbed look at Plagg killed me again.

Marinette: "I'll do it all! .... I'll be Luka's best friend and I'll love Adrien!" Yeah see, that's it! You guys are best as best friends, and Luka will one day find someone else and he'll be happy to have you as his best friend when that time comes too. As far as all the other stuff, that sounds very busy and exhausting, but if it makes her happy! "How can you love other people if you don't love yourself?" Oh dang, that's such a good line to have put in this show honestly! Nicely done. So this is definitely one of if not my favorite episode. Chat Blanc's been my favorite but this is at least up there with it! There's so much to take from this episode, and so much that can come from this episode's events that I'm both extremely excited and scared to find out what happens next.

Thoughts and Reaction to SENTIBUBBLER

For the past month, every day my sister greeted me with "Sentibubbler!" Sometimes multiple times a day. So this episode was a very anticipated one. The trailer spoiled that the opening scene was a dream, so I wasn't expecting to be surprised or anything like that. HAHA BOY WAS I WRONG But first, this dream points out several things she's worried about and she's going to have to address because they're seriously stressing her out. Likely in the order of occurrence in the episode is how we'll see it addressed. (In chronological order because let's be real, broadcasting companies don't seem to care much about what episodes we get when, so we'll likely see them happen out of this order) - Alya and Trixx being able to keep the secret and be trustworthy. (Which seems to be taken care of in this episode) - Nino finding out she's Ladybug. Nino's close with Alya, so tbh it's probably just a matter of time before he finds out on his own, or they break down and decide to tell him. - Chloe's issue with the Miraculous and Ladybug's rule that has only applied to Chloe so far. - And Chat Blanc. It seems Chat Blanc becoming akumatized again is a bigger fear to her than all the rest, based on her reaction, being horrified and backing up to the point she knocks stuff off the table. It also shows that she's thinking about how her and Chat Noir in this other timeline were in fact together and thinking about what the reason for it is. She believed that it was them being together knowing their secret identities, and their love did it. So here in this dream, well everyone knows right, so what's keeping them from being together now? Interesting thought to have for someone who claims she doesn't love him. ;) Tikki squeaks when bounced. Good to know lol But poor thing was asleep. LOL the Lochness Monster is Trixx's doing, huh? It's like every major event in history happened because of a Kwami. What else are we going to learn xD Marinette being freaked out by the tarantula. The biggest spider I've ever seen in my house is a Giant Crab Spider. Freaked me out so much too. Poor thing was terrified though so I let it go outside. xD Are Alya's parents going to be like Marinette's parents and just shrug when their daughter says things they don't understand and let it go. Because in their situation, those are the best parents to have. Except Adrien's, who isn't around....oof moving on. And here is the start of Nino feeling left out... DX Anyone that knows me knows I adore him, so this is going to begin to get really painful for me. ;-; TRIXX IS JUST SO STINKING CUTE And then suddenly with the phone ringing and empty room with a villain on the other line threatening the lives of her friends and family, did I feel like I entered one of my Taiwanese dramas instead of Miraculous Ladybug. And I love it! I had no idea how Alya was going to deal with Shadow Moth's call, instructions, and Sentibubbler in the room, I was at the edge of my seat. Older seasons it was so much easier to have a good general idea anyway of what was going to happen, but now you get caught by surprise much more. Alya is so brilliant, there's honestly nobody better for Marinette to have told first. I love Chat Noir so much and for emotional reasons, I wanted him to know first. But it's so easy for one or both to be unable to transform or do their job, they need at least one other on the outside they can trust. Alya is certainly that someone. I do think Nino knowing and Adrien finding out will make them the strongest though. But of course, not without its consequences. There is no perfect solution. I also want to point out too. When Marinette was trying to decide what to do, she thought of ways that would cause significant trouble, or worse. Transforming in front of everyone and going back in time to erase that. Nothing she thought of to get herself out of the situation was a good idea. Chat Noir didn't want to listen to Rena Rouge and was going to blow her plan up. Her wording wasn't great, and she should've said it differently so he'd be more likely to listen. But

both Ladybug and Chat Noir were going to do things that would cause serious damage and consequences. Rena Rouge was the one that helped make things go smoothly. But also yikes the fact that Chat Noir got so angry and hurt about being left out (it didn't even have anything to do with Ladybug, so that's going to be a misunderstanding that adds up and comes back later ooof) that he destroyed a chimney with his baton. o.o But his "Oh well Miraculous Ladybug will fix it anyway so I can't feel too bad" xD Everything lately about these episodes just screams "Chat Noir and Nino are going to have to know, at least some details, and soon." either that or both of them walk away because they can't put up with it anymore. And I'm pretty sure we're not getting the latter! Chat Noir being told by Marinette to stay where he is. Chat: BUT WHYYYY x.x Marinette: Rena Rouge created a Ladybug illusion to trick Sentibubbler, who is a Sentimonster. If you go there, you might ruin her entire plan! Chat: ... and you know this how? That's really sus, Marinette... Marinette just goes all casual Chat-like as she explains and he just doesn't even question anything anymore lololol Alya being super smart and getting Shadow Moth away from her while she still keeps the Miraculous. Hahahaha what if all the rest do that too, that'll be so great. x3 Chat, explains what's going on and what he has to do. Marinette: Good idea! :D Chat: Relax. The real Ladybug will save her and together we will save you. Marinette: We're already saving them, Kitty. We already are... Me: AHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA MY HEART ;-; The only real physical damage done to Paris that day was when the Agreste's decided to vent their anger out on innocent buildings. Marinette being as Ladybug to Chat Noir as she can be while Marinette's the one with him trapped in a bubble. x33 I love how he uses Cataclysm, gets trapped in the bubble again, and Marinette just blinks at him like "Oh Kitty...:c" In S1, Marinette would've rolled her eyes and shook her head lol Ladybug transforming in a bubble right next to Chat Noir and he knows absolutely nothing :D I'd be so nervous even with that illusion if it were me. Chat Noir: NOBODY CAN MUTE ME Shadow Moth: Wanna bet? THAT ACTION SHOT OF PEGABUG TAKING THE COFFEE CUP FROM HAWK MOTHS IS ONE OF MY ALL-TIME FAVORITES Her hair is so pretty and her smug look is just so perfect!! Chat Noir saving Nino <3 Ladybug and Rena Rouge's hug <3 Seriously loving these friend moments. But they make me nervous about what's to come. "Hey, I thought today would be the end of Chat Noir." Oh dear. Please don't have him thinking like this still. What's it going to take for this poor boy to understand he's irreplaceable and she cares so much about him? At this point I think him knowing her feelings for him and some of the truth, but not all of it, would be what it'd take. Okay, the scenes after the end card now are tripping me up. Such creepy, dramatic music with a getting angrier all the time Gabriel. Scary. Thanks to spoilers from TFOU, this scene here, hints at the finale episode for sure. And that was the episode! I really enjoyed this one, I love how it's really getting the ball rolling on some problems that later on will need to be fixed, to then have them come back happier and stronger than before. We just need to live through it first lol.

THOUGHTS AND REACTION TO RISK!

I didn't do one for Psychomedian and I'm sorry. Dx I had things come up so I just didn't get around to it. But hopefully I make it up to you with this one! Woo all the heroes, love them! BUT YES HERE IT IS MY LADYNOIR MOMENT "Can I come with you?" sounding all sweet and vulnerable oh no 😭 "I know, I know. Only the guardian knows the identities of the Miraculous holders. And Cat Noir, despite being the first and most amazing team member of all, is now just a holder like any other." "Yep, but you'll always be my favorite. 😘 BYEEE!" I LOVE IT 😭 Like usual people are probably mad. But she's not wrong really, is she? She's the Guardian, everyone else is just kind of... below that. Including him. They can't just be partners anymore, not with her new role and the need for so many more. And we know the reason he doesn't get let in on everything. Everyone gets mad, but whenever he's found out about her and gets involved more, terrible things happen. She knows that. So she keeps him at a distance. So if you want to get mad, get mad at Gabriel for doing this to them. Also I SEE YOU RUNNING AWAY GIRLY AFTER YOUR CUTE "BYEEE". AS IF YOU DON'T HAVE FEELINGS FOR HIM, PFFFFFT.

Ladybug goes to Kim first to collect the Miraculous because he's the least to be trusted for long with free time. Change my mind. But really I adore him xDD "I AM NOT. WORTHY. OF OUR LOVE!" dang Gabriel, don't make me feel for you please. But Keith Silverstein did such a good job there ahhhh! Sadness & crying to anger to laughing maniacally in a short span... you ok? You're getting even more unhinged. Okay the ANIMATION is so PRETTY "Hide your froggy toy well" welp. "I'm gonna hide it where she'll never find it." Wow... that's really not good. 😅 Yeah Shadow Moth's getting scary... ADRIEN IN PAJAMAS AGAIN WOO!! Seriously he needs better regular clothes. We shouldn't be this excited for PJs. DO BETTER GABRIEL, YOU'RE A FASHION DESIGNER. "But first and foremost the breakfast for two my father's been promising for months!" "Umm, about that..." Just crush his hopes. He hasn't had a meal with his dad for MONTHS and he still couldn't. He burst in there mad xD But then it washed away the moment his father told him not now. "A girl...a boy... they search for each other all over the world before finally meeting in Paris, on top of the Eiffel Tower." In this context with Lila and Gabriel being the one to say it....GAG. Also why do I get the feeling that this could be Marinette and Adrien's future someday? 😥I don't know why I thought about it, but now I can't get it out of my head. When the reason your father's sending you on a trip around the world is so that he can totally destroy Paris without you being in any danger. SMH. "Using CG they will meld together to become the perfume bottle. 2 souls, one mind, one heart. First Love the Fragrance" again GAG.

Friends, see the news report: Oh yay Adrien gets to go travel around the world with Lila, it's going to be so great, I'm happy for him! His father never lets him leave the house so I'm sure he loves this! WHILE TOTALLY IGNORING NOW SAD HE LOOKS Hahaha Lila representing true love hahahah well that's a joke "I think above all that it was my sincerity that touched his heart."

Same girl, same. It's been my reaction since Lila appeared on the screen, really. "Adrien doesn't look happy, and I feel like I'm the only one who sees it!" "You can see it because you love him, Marinette." That is very true. I honestly can't believe nobody else (in his class, at his school) sees it. How does Lila function with all those lies? How does she actually get away with it? For real, it's insane. Marinette needs to talk to Adrien, but because of this he gets distracted (tbh he probably would be distracted with his thoughts anyway) and Nino pummels him with a ball. Alya's reaction to him flying backwards and falling on the ground 😂 TO THE DUNGEON, ADRIEN!! Oh hey, someone send Marinette there too so she can- Oh. Oh Alya was on the same page as me. Sweet! "Are you really leaving for several months?" "It's what my father's decided :c" AND RISK INCOMING "If only you knew how sick I am of all of it. The photos, the film shoots, all these people fawning over me who don't even know me! These ads that don't make any sense...And now I'm expected to just leave my friends and travel to the end of the world for I don't know how long, with LILA?!" YES you finally said it! I know it's because of Risk but I'm still so proud of you 😭😭😭 Also she knows all of it now! She knew he wasn't happy at all, but now she knows why! She knows he hates what he has to do, hates how his father makes him, really does not like Lila at all! "Why don't you tell them all that you don't want to do this?" "No one would understand my complaining. They all think it's amazing what's happening to me :(" "I understand you." "Well, you're the only one...c: *holds her hand* ADRIEN. THAT TONE. THAT SMILE. THAT HAND HOLDING. THIS ISN'T WHAT FRIENDS DO I know you know that that is not what friends do so I'm seriously looking forward with what he's going to do in the future. 👀 LILA SIT BACK DOWN!! Adrien smiled for all of 8 seconds before it got washed away again. :/ "Has there ever been something you've wanted to tell someone, but just couldn't do it? As if some kind of invisible force was holding you back?" Yes. Like her feelings for you and the fact that she as Ladybug can't tell you as Chat Noir who she is because the world always ends up ending when she does. I love how Adrien turns to face her like, "Go on Marinette, I want to hear about what you want to say that you're never able to." AHHHHH such a sweetie. x3 LILA. I HATED YOU BEFORE BUT I HATE YOU A THOUSAND TIMES MORE NOW, HOW DARE YOU?! I'VE WAITED 5 AND A HALF YEARS FOR THAT LEVEL OF COMFORT AND COMMUNICATION BETWEEN THEM SHHHHH "You so richly deserve to finally see the beauty of this world!" OKAY I had no idea Mr. D'Argencourt was so caring and sweet towards Adrien but I'm loving this so much 😭😭😭 He knows how bad Adrien's life is that he feels he deserves the world. I'm crying. "I'm going to miss you all so much! *looks at Marinette with a grin*" BOOOOOOY I see Adrienette serious progress on the horizon and I am HERE FOR IT. Marinette was seriously about to tell him again and Chloe just has to come and ruin things again! But here's the thing, it's like the Bubbler when she pushed her out of the way. Only last time, he just walked off while she was on the ground. This time he's like, gasp you pushed her?? Then was like sure Chloe, now out of the way, I need to see what's up with Marinette. and he actually ASKS if everything's okay and his bodyguard won't even let him do that like DUDE please give the boy a minute, would you?? He kept his eyes on her whenever he could too awww Nino, Alya, Rose, and Kim need to chill. I'm sorry, I love them, but good grief. Nino being all, how dare you want to keep Adrien from an opportunity to leave his house, Marinette. He told you himself? You must be wrong, because I'm his best friend and he'd tell me. Alya and her, you're doing this because of Lila aren't you? GIRL you're talking to Ladybug here, Ladybug who caught her lies first thing. Ladybug that Lila hates with a passion. And that Adrien can't stand either for that matter. You'd

think that'd say something, but no. And then Rose's "If you love someone you have to let them go." okay but what if that person doesn't want to go? Should they still be forced to go, should the person that loves them just sit back and go "Oh well, everyone else thinks you should go, and I know you don't want to, but I'll just sit back and watch." ? This is Marinette we're talking about, she helps everyone. She's going to help him too. TBH this right here that she's going to help him with is probably the biggest thing she's ever had to get involved with to help someone. The outcome will be serious and affect his entire future. Then we have Kim over here like, oh what are you talking about, everyone wants to be a model! Not everyone thinks like you, Kim. I love how whenever we get serious scenes, they throw in things like Kim taking a risk to swim the Seine (ew okay don't do that that's gross) and Max being like, hey I can't swim but I wanna join you. SO I BROUGHT MY DUCKIE! XDDD So random but you can't not laugh. All this time, all these months waiting for this episode, I knew Felix would be in it. And yet I forgot going into the episode and was taken by surprise when I saw him lol Hahaha Felix has some sass lol "Why are you here this time? To mock me or ruin my reputation with my friends? "Neither, I'm here to save you." "I'm doing just fine, thank you." Oooh Adrien's not taking anything or forgetting what happened and is showing how irritated he is. I like the sass Adrien, keep it up! "I don't know what I want." "I know, and that's why the second I saw your face on TV this morning, I left London to get you out of this mess. Freedom is something you make, Adrien. For starters, you've gotta stop doing everything your father tells you to." I mean he's not wrong. 👀But what's his purpose for doing this? What does he gain going around the world? But then that would actually set it up so Felix and Lila would get to know each other, and there goes that ship that I'd love and hate because of how scary and fitting they'd be together. xDD They're getting the Peacock and Moth Miraculouses, I just know it. "Or maybe your fear keeps you from seeing a hidden side of him." Wait. This is important for later***** Wow, Felix sure has Adrien's "Yes father" down, the sadness and disappointment in both his expression and his voice is on point. "I know you've got a secret, uncle." yep he has two. Have fun! 😬You'll need therapy now, I hope it's worth it!

Gotta love that foreshadowing! Hawk Moth wins this time? Okay, thanks for the heads up :O I'm scared o.o ALSO WTH FELIX, ARE YOU A SPY?! WHO ARE YOU?! I'm so confused! 14 year old children don't just get spy tech like that! Was your dad one, is that how you got it? We all know, Felix has seemed really cold and cruel the couple of episodes we've seen him. But as soon as he saw his aunt down there, the horror and disgust and torment, how he wanted out of there as soon as he could and stayed as far away as he could....that shows he's not too far gone. I like him a lot more now, but I'm afraid that this could drive him further down a bad road. *****it's later. Here's the moment where we see a different side of him. Adrien (Felix) told him no, determined and angry. Suddenly after looking him right in the eyes, the firm Gabriel seemed...subdued? Almost like he was drugged or something and didn't want to continue. I'm sorry what? Sentimonster, sentimonster, no. This has nothing to do with that. If it was that, he wouldn't have reacted like that looking into Adrien (Felix's) eyes. And we know that he's unaware that that's Felix, he showed no signs of it whatsoever. It has to do with the anger and speaking back. I've thought before that he does that motion with his ring whenever he thinks of Emilie, and I'm wondering if that moment with Felix, that look in his eyes and his anger, reminded him so much of Emilie that he was speechless and all his anger and fight went out of him. "To save a prince from a dragon, you need a KNIIIIGHT!" "And that knight is you?" "Course not, Tikki! That knight is Ladybug! No one listens to Marinette, but everyone listens to Ladybug!" Well ouch, that's not true Marinette! Obviously people listen to Ladybug more, but there are things Marinette can do that Ladybug can't. And I'm pretty sure this is going to be one of those times. ALSO SHE DID HER LITTLE LADYBUG MOVE WHEN SHE TRANSFORMS AHHHHHH! "You've been taking too many risks today, something's wrong!" Yeah it is, but it helped Adrienette progress much better because of it :D Kagami calling Adrien just to scream at him to get himself together and stick up for himself and stop being a puppet, like dang. See, they make great friends but terrible for a relationship. He needed that. First there was Marinette that started to tell him he needs to tell his father, and everyone else, how he feels about being a model and being forced to do all these things he doesn't want to do, because she can see he was miserable. Then there's Felix, though of course for his selfish reasons, could see he's miserable and doesn't want to go, and tells him that freedom is something you make, you have to work for it. He's not going to have it if he sits there and does nothing. Then now Kagami that is like the final blow that screams at him and tells him he's a puppet to everyone in his life, he lets everyone control him by pulling his strings, and that these strings need to be cut. And as we all know, the thing that's kept him from being able to actually find out about Marinette being Ladybug and being happy has been his father. The only person that isn't bought and easily tricked by things is Marinette. The only person that lets him be himself where he actually feels truly happy and special, is with Marinette. This is the point where all of that will change, the obstacle will be out of the way so they can finally have everything in the open and he can be free and they can be happy together. Oh please let this be the beginning of the end of Adrien's sad life. Please. Also I'm believing after seeing this episode, that this will be the start of her really seeing the Adrien side of Chat Noir and loving and appreciating him truly, so unlike Ephemeral where she was freaking out and didn't know what to do about Chat Noir being Adrien, and not seeing him the same, I bet after more development happens and then she finds out, her response will be like "Of course it's you, you couldn't be anyone else" AND I WILL CRY SO MUCH IN THAT MOMENT But getting back to the

episode. "Felix shouldn't be doing this for me. I need to take my own rightful place and tell my father what I have to tell him myself!" GOOD ON YOU. But oops Felix really wants to pretend to be Adrien and go around the world. Why?? "He tricked me again! It's time to end this game, I've got to talk with my father!" Sorry, your father can't come to the phone right now. Why? Because he's Shadow Moth. 🙃 HAAAAA the fact it's Felix and not Adrien being like, uhhh Ladybug what's going on? Legit he's doing a good job here, I would've expected to see a passing annoyed look or something. The only thing is he doesn't sound quite like Adrien, and she's too upset and worried for him to notice. Plus for all she knows, it could just be his sadness. "I don't have the courage. Unlike you, I'm not a superhero." Ironic when Adrien actually is one, but who she thinks is Adrien here actually isn't one so he's telling the truth. xD Okay hold up. Now I'm getting in spoiler territory for those of you who didn't see a previous trailer that showed clips from the second part of this, one that was from a few months ago. Where we saw Ladybug detransform and collapse in what looked to be Adrien's bathroom. If that was Strike Back, and it really was his bathroom, that means she still needs to go there. Why would she? I don't know, but I'm holding out hope that she'll actually speak with Adrien and they'll figure this all out. WITHOUT Felix finding out who she is. These scenes are honestly scaring me that he'll find out. She's going to use the horse miraculous to bring Felix back. PLEASE have her somehow see Adrien in the street and talk to him. PLEASE. Or at home. I don't care, just do not let Felix find out. Oooh Adrien found the spy monocle thing and then there's the sentimonster outside...then fades to credits. Well. :O My goodness this was insane, and even more so when this was not a planned episode but was just dropped on us out of the blue lol A lot of this doesn't feel as much like Miraculous Ladybug but like something else, and I honestly really love it. xD Now to wait the long wait (or maybe if we're lucky we'll get part two next week. I'm wishful thinking here) so we can see how this goes. But from the sounds of what we've been told, it's going to probably end in chaos so I'm just all around scared at this point lol

Thoughts and Reaction to SIMPLEMAN

A day late but that's what happens when good subs aren't out until the next day, and you're busy that day. This episode is so sweet and wholesome that it was worth it, for sure. I'm still not sure which one is Ella and which one is Etta. They're always addressed together so I just don't know, but I'd like to. ;-; (Note: Looked it up on Wikia, the one in pink with seafoam earrings is Etta, the one in seafoam and pink earrings is Ella) See Nino knows. Nino's concerned about Marinette babysitting three kids already. He lives with one all the time, times that by 4 and WOO that's crazy. Sweet of her to want to ensure her best friend has some time to relax with her boyfriend. Oh. OH those poor Kwami! Especially Fluff and her ears being pulled like a game of tug-of-war! I can see it now, Fluff now traumatized by young kids. So if Alix ever has any in the future, they better grow up knowing about Fluff right away or she's in for a horror show. PV TRAILER AND MUSIC! I'm such a fan of the music and the PV that when my sister told me about it, it made me even more excited for this episode than I already was. And I was very excited already! Manon: So? Aren't you going to answer it? She knows what's up. So Adrien's calling asking Marinette to help sew on a wing? Because nobody else there can do it? I dunno, sounds kind of sus to me, Adrien. Are you sure you're not using that as an excuse just to see your "friend"?

Marinette's biggest problem is thinking so far ahead in her brain that when she goes to speak, she's either way far ahead of herself or gets everything mixed up as it comes out of her mouth. If she just lived in the moment and didn't plan (which being Ladybug that's probably very hard not to do outside the costume), she'd be able to do this and overcome that fear of rejection as well. She seems to have that part fairly taken care though. When Gina said she was in China to learn Kung Fu and met a girl that reminded her of Marinette, instantly thought about Fei. How could it not be her? Rolland gets asked to babysit, immediately is like "Let's do something fun and dangerous!" Tom must have had an interesting childhood with Rolland and Gina. o.o Clearly Rolland doesn't realize who the heroes are based on. Or just completely forgot he met them when Bakerix. xD Adrien's so sweet with Marinette, even if he can't understand a single thing she says. That's adorable. But a really good way to thank her could've been "Would you stay and watch the photoshoot, and then maybe we could go do something fun/get something to eat after?" BOOM. Problems solved. But I have a feeling this may come back later, and maybe that would turn out better. Marinette's grandparents tend to give Hawk Moth/Shadowmoth the most sass and trouble in comparison to other Parisians. XD Rolland is so sweet to these kids, and they are so caring towards him. It's so wholesome! Just think: if that helicopter wasn't crashing behind her, she would've screamed she loved Adrien. So close. Simpleman is the chillest akuma. Being all "Hey kids, even though I'm akumatized, let's go out into the city!" and the kids are like "Yeah, okay. Hey let's get ice cream!"

Him protecting them from all the flying pizza boxes that guy was throwing around everywhere was super sweet too. LB and CN: Things are complicated. So we should find Shadow Moth directly. Let's run around the city screaming for him to come find us so we can fight him! I seriously think if Chat Noir or Ladybug brought up the fact that their identities made things complicated, they would've revealed themselves right then and there. LOL at the old school fighting and them behaving like young children xD "NO!" "I'm NaNa, ClaCla is no longer with NaNa! Paris is really messy! BuggyBug, KittyKity, help us!" Oh this is going to be so hilarious in the English dub with the voice actress who also voices Nathalie. XDDD A bouncy ball is very complicated for Ladybug. That a literal 5 year old can figure out. Wow this villain's power sure did a number on her. xD I find it all the more stressful actually, that Chat Noir and Ladybug can remember what they were doing the whole time they were affected by the akuma. That means if Marinette said she loved him, or they revealed their identities, there would be no going back or being able to make an excuse for it. Can we just talk about how those kids could understand that the reason he wants things to be simple and is upset that the world is so different, is because it scares him and he doesn't think he's capable of learning and changing with the world? A majority of adults these days can't even take two seconds to try to understand someone else's situation(s) before judging and being outright nasty people towards them. Yet these kids were able to do so. And a lot of kids actually are like they are in real life. Some may see this as an episode just for kids to appreciate, but there's a lot in here that's aimed at adults, too. Adults need reminders and these lessons just as much, if not more so than young kids. It's adults that lose their way and needed to be reminded of it, as they have a greater immediate impact on the world. I've seen so many people judge Rolland, make assumptions about him which is almost always the very worst things they could think of. But this episode shows how caring and willing to learn and understand he really is, he was just hiding behind his fear of change and not being able to keep up with it. Some lessons in this episode for the adult viewers are: -You're never too old to learn, get over your fears, try new things, become a better person, and see things through new eyes. -Don't over-complicate or overthink, but don't be lazy and think keeping everything simple will actually in reality be the answer, sometimes it can make things worse! -Kids tend to see the world as things are, not what they think it should be, or believing they're the center of the universe like adults tend to do. -Being wise means knowing that regardless of your field, educational background, age, or lived experiences, you don't know everything, there is always more for you to learn about everything out there. The kids in this show are quite wise, as they know that there is so much they don't know and how they treat learning new things. They also know how adults tend to understand, or act like they understand everything, so we as adults aren't used to it when we don't and react negatively to that because it scares us when we don't know. In that way, this episode was very brilliant! Also that hug at the end, oh you can bet these kids are going to want to go visit Grandpa Rolland, and honestly I'd love to see bits of them here and there, their bonds are adorable and they've changed his life in such a positive way. Also the pure Ladynoir without another hero or Alya or any kind of upsetting situation was honestly such a breath of fresh air! Maybe not the kind of Ladynoir people wanted, but it made me happy. Marinette acknowledged her problem is she's scared of Adrien rejecting her. First step is admitting it! Can't blame her for not being able to do what she wanted, she only just realized the issue after all. It's going to take a little time now to work on it! Is it just me, or

does it seem Adrien's almost trying not to laugh when she was messing up and then asked if he liked fishing? XD Maybe it was the actors tone with the facial expression but it seemed that way! But the way he just watches her run away and does that adorable little chuckle... Oh Adrien, we really need you to start realizing why you keep doing that. "She (Ladybug) reminds me of your grandmother and you know what? You look exactly like her (Ladybug)." Well. Oop. He's onto you! Apparently Rolland isn't blind, as not a single character suspected her from her personality or appearance to be Ladybug so far. Even Adrien only began piecing it together due to circumstances (and his own personal wish that Marinette is LB, you can't convince me otherwise this isn't true). This is going to come back later, possibly Dearest Family? Overall such a good episode with a lot of things in it, if you decide to watch without high expectations or biases. After all the angst lately, it was certainly needed as a nice change of pace.
