When Alya comes home from being Scarabella, she's met with the twins fighting:
on one hand, there's Ella, who's jumping around and almost knocking every single piece of furniture in the apartment pretending to be a superhero;
on the other hand, there's Etta sulking in a corner, looking very jealously at her twin, occasionally throwing pillows at her and telling her to quit it
Upon further investigation, Alya figures out that it's the name scarabella that caused the whole rift. She starts brainstorming names of other heroes with etta in them, just in case Marinette gives her another Miraculous.

Do you have any references on how Ninos armor in knighted looks like? It's probably not realistic medieval armor, I have a bit of trouble coming up with a proper design for fanart. Also the royal crest gives me trouble with how it is attached to the armor and also what it looks like 😅
Okay please forgive me some of these doodles are SO old, like 2017 old. When Pilot really couldn't draw too well.
Tumblr media
This was how i originally pictured the insignia, fixed over the top of the pauldron. In this doodle its over the left shoulder, but mostly it should be on whatever side the sheath for the sword is. It would be fitted over it, you can imagine it a little like a pillow case with any loose part being off the bottom. If you want to change it to make it look better you totally could, or pin it so its a little less visible.
Tumblr media
This is the Royal Family insignia that I envisioned being on the purple cloth, embossed in gold and black for the panther head. You could make it as complicated or as simplified as fit your style!
What I more or less use as the official reference is the art done by @clmeeni
Tumblr media
Whenever I draw it I simplify it down a bit when it comes to individual pieces, but always keep that gathering of blue cloth at the throat and underneath the armor.
What he's wearing underneath looks like this (art by @tides-miraculous ) So there are occasions where he would be wearing just the under garb and not the full armor set. Usually very internal in the castle
Tumblr media
Thank you for having an interest in my fic and its associated designs!
Everything is up for interpretation! If you draw something please tag me!!!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!! I GOT IT DONE ON TIME HUZZAHHHH Only 1.5-2 hours to spare! :D
And I kept track of how it took to get done! Well.. excluding the extra sketches. In total it took about 5.5 hours give or take. Only including the time I spent on this, not the days and breaks in between.
Anyway, I knowwww France doesn’t have Halloween as a tradition BUT, 1) I looked it up SOME people celebrate it, 2) Alya in my au was born in France but lived in NYC for a little bit so I think she’d want to try introducing it to her friends were she can and 3) idc I’m gonna draw them trick or treating no one can stop me
I have yet to rewatch and see if there is any enjoyment I can get out of the little kids but currently, I’m changing them in my au. Not too drastically, but so that they are more annoying in the loveable way. This way, I can enjoy writing them lol.
Under the read more, that I just figured out how to use, there will be more sketches and bonus stuff that I hurried tonight to make. Unfortunately, I couldn’t get to other halloween related sketches (ccrt, solar lunacy, and fandoms other than fnaf but mainly fnaf shhhhh) but I will hopefully have those done tomorrow or this week.
You can find the timelapse for this on my instagram post of this if you were curious! :)
AND JUST TO BE CLEAR, I think Adrien would be a fan of Harry Potter! Not of JK Rowling. Good? Good.

Doodle’s Anthology: Winter Things {1/3}
Back again, this time with another series. Hello everyone, it’s Doodle here back from my long posting back. It was nice but I’m glad to be back. As stated I came back with another series. I had originally planned to do another “Doodle Short Stories” entry but during development I realized it would be too long for the format. So, this is one of short stories’ longer and more complex cousins. Same idea but longer and different format. It will also play but AU ideas and canon like short stories.
Due to all the entries length I had broken up into three sections and will place links below to make everything easier here:
Section 1. Section 2. Section 3.
Each section is its own story, so section 2 will not pick up where section one left off. But they will share the theme: Winter Things. Probably seems strange considering the month we’re in. But technically the last day of spring is March 20th. So we’re technically still in the season.
I hope you enjoy what I have been working on. So let’s start with the first story: Winter Blues.
Winter Blues
Theme: Winter Things
A distinct wintry chill filled the afternoon air while Paris was being held underneath blankets of falling snow. Every area of the outside world: streets, sidewalks, buildings and branches were completely covered. Wails of freezing winds echoed through the streets almost as a warning for what to come. The few vehicles that still dared to be on the road glided across with a surgeon’s caution avoiding one of winter’s well known traits: ice. Sidewalks became practically abandoned by people who traded the outside’s cold for the warmth of indoors. Although there were a few individuals still outside in the middle of transit.
Alya Cèsaire heard the snow crunching underneath her boots while walking down the snowy sidewalk. She guided both of her little sisters forward holding one of their hands in each with hers. Despite the chill the reporter pushed forward towards the destination, thinking their undesirable situation could have been worse. The three of them could not be dressed for the winter. Instead of their usual outfits the three sisters had donned winter wear before leaving their home. Alya wore an orange cable knit sweater, black denim jeans, black ankle boots and black gloves.
Over her sweater was a bright orange parka with a faux gray fur lined hood covering her head. On her shoulder was a black quilted purse with various superhero pins attached. Meanwhile Ella and Etta, who was still in their matching phase, wore similar white sweaters with stripes of their own signature colors. Ella’s sweater stripes were a soft light pink that was paired with dark blue jeans, a light pink puffer jacket with a gold star pattern, a matching light pink beanie, black mittens and black snow boots. Etta’s sweater stripes were a bright sea green that was paired with faded blue jeans, a sea green puffer jacket with a silver star pattern, black mittens and black snow boots.
The reporter kept moving forward with her sisters only being a few steps closer. After rounding the corner the girls approached the Boulangerie Patisserie, entering the building only mere seconds later. The bell over the door chimed as the sisters entered. Alya released her sisters’ hands letting the bakery’s warmth surround her. She smiled, relieved at the fact the three of them had arrived in one piece while intaking the delicious smell of chocolate that perfumed the air.
“Hello girls,” greeted a familiar voice. “It’s bad out there, isn’t it?”
The reporter looked up as she pulled down her hood to see Mrs. Cheng standing beside the register counter. She had placed down a wicker bakery basket filled with individually wrapped winter themed iced sugar cookies. The cookies were in various winter themed shapes, like snowflakes, mittens and snowmen. Mrs. Cheng was wearing a long sleeved light gray cheongsam blouse with stitched soft pink flowers and green leaves, navy blue pants, pearl dangle earrings and black dress shoes.
“Hi Mrs. Cheng,” Alya greeted. “Yeah, it’s freezing out there.”
“That’s what I figured. You can tell just from looking out of the windows. But that’s nature for you. It’s their world, we just need to embrace what it gives us,” she told her. “However, I’m actually surprised to see you. I knew you had plans to take Ella, Etta and Manon to the Winter Festival that was supposed to be held today to meet up with Nino and Chris. But I thought plans had changed because of the snow.”
“I thought so too. But I checked the city’s events app on my phone and the festival is supposed to be still on. Plus there were still two other little factors nagging me.”
“And those were?”
Alya looked over to Ella and Etta who were staring at the basket of cookies on the counter. The twins must’ve felt their sister’s eyes on them as they turned saying in unison. “What?”
“Those two,” the reporter nudged her head toward their direction. “I was debating whether to come out or not. But it was kinda hard when two people constantly asked when we were going and I promised. The festival wasn’t canceled so why can’t we leave?”
“Hey, the snow looked more like rain when we left,” Etta piped up. “It’s not our fault that it got worse on the bus ride here.”
Alya let out a sigh. “Well you do have a point there.”
“Besides, it’s not that surprising you still took us out,” said Ella.
The reporter raised a brow. “Oh really? Why is that?”
“It’s because you love us,” she replied.
“Well that is true,” Alya admitted. “If I didn’t love you two both of you would be parked in front of TV watching cartoons. Meanwhile, I would be editing the footage I filmed this week for my blog.”
“I’m surprised that the festival is still being held in all this snow,” said Mrs. Cheng.
“The few times Mr. Dupain and I had taken Marinette when she was younger it was so well organized. Once it got pushed back to the following week because of rain due to it being outdoors. Personally, I suggest maybe you five hang back until the snow stops. I know that you were planning on meeting with Nino and Chris. I don’t think it’s safe for anyone to go out right now.”
“That’s something to consider. I don’t even think Nino and Chris are even out,” the reporter contemplated. “They had plans to visit their grandparents before meeting with us. Since their grandfather only lived a few blocks from where the festival is being held. I wouldn’t be surprised if they were convinced to stay in.”
“Depending on how long it takes you girls are welcome to stay here as long as you need. Manon and Marinette are upstairs in the living room.”
“Thanks Mrs. Cheng,” Alya smiled.
“Oh before I forget, do any of you want a cookie?” Mrs. Cheng picked up the basket off the counter.
“Are you sure?” the reporter questioned.
“Of course, it’s better for them to be eaten than to have a chance of going stale,” she told her. “I doubt we are going to have many customers due to the weather. Besides Mr. Dupain finishing up a cake order for tomorrow in the back. There won’t be much going on here.”
Each one of the girls chose a cookie: Ella took a blue and white snowflake cookie. Ella picked a red mitten cookie. Meanwhile Alya grabbed a snowman cookie with small round chocolate candy eyes.
“Thank you Mrs. Cheng,” all three of them said in unison before going upstairs.
The Cèsaire sisters eventually reached the building’s residence hallway seeing the living room’s door wide open. Once entering they saw Manon on the couch eating a snowflake cookie. She was wearing a white long sleeved shirt underneath a deep violet jumpsuit and black snow boots. Alya slid off her jacket while putting her snowman cookie on the table. Concurrently, her sisters ran over to the couch to greet their friend. After putting her jacket on the coat rack near the door. The reporter walked toward the living room patio window where Marinette stood, who was anxiously watching the continuous snowfall.
Similar to the others she was dressed for the frosty weather. The designer wore a fuzzy blush pink sweater with matching pink fabric roses sewed in the slit of the sweater with carnation pink fabric. Her sweater was paired with light washed blue jeans and tan ankle boots.
Once Alya approached, Marinette turned around greeting her. “Hey, there you are. When I didn’t get a text from you I figured that you were still coming. I was trying to look for you. So, how bad is it out there?”
“It’s not the next ice age bad,” Alya told her. “But don’t know how they are going to hold the festival because of the snow.”
“That’s what I figured. I checked the events app a few minutes ago and it’s still said that the festival is still on. However, I feel like going now would be going against my better judgment.”
“Well, I talked to your mom downstairs and she suggested at least waiting until the snow stops.”
“That sounds like a good idea.”
“Wait, does that mean we aren’t going?” Manon called out from the couch. “But you promised.”
“I didn’t exactly say that Manon,” said the designer. “We’re just considering going out later when the snow stops.”
Suddenly two different chime sounds went off causing both of the babysitters to pull out their phones from their pockets.
After reading the screen Alya said. “It looks like it won’t matter either way. There’s a new notification from the city events app. The festival had officially been canceled.”
“WHAT!” Ella, Etta and Manon all screamed in unison.
“Due to inclement winter weather, The Winter Festival is canceled Saturday January 3rd,” Marinette read off the alert on her phone. “The festival will be rescheduled for the following Saturday January 10th if the weather permits. We apologize for any inconveniences.”
“But…but that’s not fair!” Manon shouted. “You promised that we were going to the festival today!”
“So that means we walked through all that snow for nothing?!” Ella cried out.
“Nothing!” added Etta.
Both Alya and Marinette exchanged sympathetic looks with each other as the kids started to pout.
“Hey there’s no need to keep those long faces,” the reporter spoke gently. “Just because the festival got canceled doesn’t mean we can’t have any fun.”
“Right,” the designer piped up. “So how about having some lunch and watching a movie? That sounds like a good idea, right?”
“It sounds like a good idea to me. Ella and Etta, you two haven’t eaten anything since breakfast this morning before Mom and Dad left for work,” Alya reminded her sisters. “Aren’t you two hungry?”
“I guess so,” Ella admitted but still looked somber.
“I can eat,” Etta added, sharing the same disappointed expression as her sister.
“We do have a lot of food since my Dad went grocery shopping yesterday to prepare for the storm,” Marinette told them. “We do have fresh bread from the bakery and lunch meat for sandwiches. There’s also some peanut butter and jelly in the cabinets. Once everyone eats we can start the movie.”
“Okay,” Etta now sounded like she’s completing. “What movie should we watch?”
“Well considering the weather…how about Frozen?” suggested the designer.
At that moment both of the twins’ eyes lit up as they squealed with glee in unison. “Frozen? That’s one of our favorite movies!”
“So, is that a yes?” Marinette grinned.
“Anna and Elsa are two of our favorite characters,” Ella told her. “They’re sisters just like us.”
“They’re not twins though as Elsa is older and I wouldn’t shut you out like Elsa did,” said Etta.
“It’s because you don’t have powers like she does,” Etta reminded her. “She just didn’t want to hurt anyone again.”
“Alright girls, there’s no need to give away the whole plot. Since we are going to stay for a while, hang up your coats,” the reporter instructed. “So we can get started on lunch.”
The twins stood up off the couch to take their jackets to the coat rack.
“Great idea suggesting a movie but did it have to be Frozen?” Alya whispered to Marinette.
“Why?” Marinette whispered back. “What’s wrong with Frozen?”
“Not much but the last time the girls watched it they kept singing Let it Go over and over for a month.”
“Oh I’m sorry I didn’t know. Maybe, I can convince them to watch something else? Another princess movie like Princess and the Frog or Tangled? Maybe we could convince them to watch something like Zootopia or Inside Out?”
“No, it’s fine. You were able to cheer them out just by mentioning the movie. Besides, I got a new pair of headphones for Christmas and a preordered copy of Jagged’s new EP that came out yesterday. I’m going to be okay.”
“That’s good. But speaking of happy kids, there is still one more kid that needs to be taken care of.”
The two friends looked over at Manon who was still sitting on the couch with her arms crossed and face molded into a perpetual pout. Without another word both of them walked over the couch and sat down next to Manon.
“Hey what’s wrong, Manon?” questioned Alya. “Don’t you want to eat and watch the movie?”
“No! It’s not fair that the festival got canceled,” Manon pouted. “You promised that we were going to go today, Marinette.”
“I’m sorry Manon but this is technically something that is out of my control,” said the designer. “If I had it my way there would have been no snow storm today.”
“Yeah, especially you know who is supposed to be coming back today,” Alya smirked.
“Not now,” the designer playfully nudged her. “Manon, we have to look at the bright side. It’s not canceled forever, just rescheduled for next week. It’s just one of those life lessons where things don’t always go as planned and it’s nobody’s fault.”
“But I don’t want a life lesson,” the disappointed child continued with pouting. “I want what I want exactly how I want it.”
“Don’t we all,” the reporter nodded in agreement. “But how about we try to sweeten the pot for you?”
“How?” Manon prompted.
“How about we bring down some of those dolls that you like to play with. They could watch the movie with us,” Alya told her. “How does that sound?”
Manon’s soured expression began to sweeten. “That sounds nice.”
“We can also pop some popcorn and make some hot chocolate to have during the movie,” Marinette added, following Alya’s lead. “Does that sound like a deal?”
“Can I have the Ladybug and Rena Rouge dolls?” asked Manon.
“Of course,” the designer smiled. “But I want you to have some lunch first.”
“Then what are we waiting for?” the now smiling little girl sprung off the couch. “Let’s eat!”
With that the babysitters prepared lunch. Marinette spread one of her pink outdoor blankets on the floor for them all to sit down and eat. Alya sent Nino a quick text about the festival’s cancellation and about calling him later. After washing their hands Marinette and Alya pulled out bread, condiments such as mayo and mustard, cheddar cheese and two types of lunch meat: ham and turkey to prepare a small plate of sandwiches. The designer also pulled out a bag of potato chips to share and applesauce cups from the cabinet. Spoons from the kitchen drawers and a pitcher of lemonade from the fridge.
After everyone had eaten Marinette started to prepare the movie snacks while the reporter went into the corner to call her boyfriend.
“So you and Chris are alright?” Alya asked Nino through her phone.
“Yeah, after the snow got really bad Grandpa Michael and Grandma Grace told us to stay put for our safety,” Nino explained. “It wasn’t until a little later I got the notification on my phone about the festival being canceled.”
“So was Chris upset just like the girls were?”
“The little dude was bummed but he’ll cope. Besides, our grandparents always spoil us when we come over. Grandpa Michael is letting him look over his toy train collection. Plus we’re staying for dinner and my grandma is a great cook.”
Marinette called out from the kitchen’s stove while stirring a small red pot with a metal whisk. “Hey Alya, I’m going upstairs to get Manon’s dolls. Can you stir the hot chocolate and keep it from boiling over?”
“Sure,” the reporter walked over as the designer handed over the whisk she had been holding.
“Tell Nino that I said hi,” she told her before going upstairs.
“Marinette says hi,” Alya told Nino while stirring the pot.
“Tell her I said hi back. So, do you think this is enough snow for us to have off school on Monday?”
“I kinda doubt it since we rarely have snow days. There’s a better chance of it being closed because of an akuma attack. I’m sure that the snow plows will be out tonight.”
“Wishful thinking I guess. I’m looking out the window right now and it seems that the snow stopped.”
“Well that’s good, the girls and I are going to stay since they’re excited about Frozen. But that’s good news for when we plan to leave-“
However, before Alya could finish her sentence things suddenly came to a halt. The lights flickered while the microwave that was in the midst of popping popcorn and the television which was in mid broadcast before all three cut off completely at once. The reporter froze as she heard screams from the girls who were sitting in front of the now blank TV.
Nino sounded concerned. “What’s wrong? I hear screaming.”
“Alya! Marinette!” the girls wailed. “The power is out!”
Marinette ran down the steps with the Ladybug, Rena Rouge and Honeybee dolls in her arms. Both babysitters had the same panic looks almost if at their moment each of them shared the same thought: we’re in trouble.
“Um…we’re fine Nino,” Alya switched off the stove. “The power got cut off. How about I call you tonight? Enjoy spending time with your grandparents. Love you.”
She facepalmed herself while hanging up, questioning why this day seemed to be getting worse and worse.
A repeating beeping sound came from Marinette’s pocket causing her to answer it. “Hello? Hi Papa…yeah the power is out up here. Is it the same for the bakery? Oh…what about the Aubert order? You’re going to see if you can wait it out for a bit until the power comes back up? Alright…I guess Alya and I will think of something to do…bye.”
After hanging up she turned to the group. “The power’s out in the bakery, too. My dad thinks it might be the whole block. He says that everyone is still welcome to stay long as needed. But there won’t be any power.”
“So that means no Frozen, right?” Ella pouted.
“This is officially the worst day ever!” Manon cried out. “First, no festival and now no movie or power!”
“Agree, what are we supposed to do now?” questioned Etta.
“Does that mean we are going to freeze? Ella wondered. “I always liked Anna but I didn’t want to become like her.”
“No one is going to freeze,” Marinette reassured her. “If you’re cold we do have extra blankets in the hallway closet.”
“But what are we supposed to do? If we are not going to die of cold we are definitely going to die of boredom,” Etta stated.
“Etta, just give us a moment,” the reporter told her while putting down the whisk on the kitchen counter. “I’m sure that we can think of something.”
“I’m thinking…” Marinette trailed off, becoming lost of thought.
Alya rested her elbows on the kitchen table trying to think of suggestions too. At that moment she noticed the snowman cookie that Mrs. Cheng had given her. She thought of the words about embracing what nature gives us. Her eyes darted toward the windows remembering what Nino mentioned about the snow stopping.
“Okay I got it,” the reporter stood up. “Everybody start getting your coats on. Just because we had a few bumps in the road does mean we can’t have fun today.”
“Where are we going?” Manon asked while the twins stood up.
Alya walked over to the coat rack. “We’re going to enjoy the gift that nature has given us.”
A few moments later, all the girls stood in the neighborhood park completely with fresh untouched snow. Within seconds, Ella, Etta and Manon raced through the park after Manon suggested making snow angels. All of them had their winter wear back on including Manon who was wearing a purple duffle jacket, lavender earmuffs and white gloves with her other clothes. Ella, Etta and Manon laid backwards on the ground. Before pushing their limbs back and forth to make angels.
Marinette stood beside Alya while watching the three girls. She wore a dark gray pea coat with light gray edges, black gloves and white earmuffs along with her other clothes.
In her hands was a soft pink tote bag she had packed after being informed of the plan. It was filled with buttons, scarves and knitted hats. “Playing in snow. Why didn’t I think of that?”
“Nora and I would always do this when we were kids,” the reporter smiled. “I don’t know how I didn’t consider it until I saw the cookie your mom gave me. But I just consider her words about embracing what nature gives us.”
“It was still great thinking on your part,” the designer told her.
Alya held up her hand for an fist bump. “I learned from the best.”
Marinette smiled, bumping her fist against hers. “It looks like those three are really enjoying themselves.”
“I’m not surprised, Nora and I had to be dragged back inside by our dad because we loved playing in it so much around that age,” the reporter reminisced, while holding her head up high. “That’s what kids do, they’re not mature individuals like us.”
Marinette looked over the snowy landscape, longingly. “Right.”
Alya looked back asked before smiling. “Do you wanna build a snowman?”
Her friend grinned before opening up her tote bag. “I thought you would never ask. Or the bag that I put together before leaving would’ve been pointless.”
The reporter began to run forward. “Well, race ya!”
The two of them started the search to find their spot for their snowman. Finally, feeling that day had shifted into a positive direction. With a change of perspective typical winter blues can easily shift into winter cheer.
The End
Thanks for reading! 😊
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I hope this story was enjoyable for everyone. To be honest I had this story idea for a while but finally got around to it. The original story was supposed to be a rainy day but I changed it to a snow day to fit the theme. But I thought it would be a fun story.
Since this isn’t the final part will keep the closing statement brief and link to the next part, here: Section 2. For anyone who wants continue with the next story. The closing song will be on the last part. Including an author note so I won’t need to repeat it three times.
This story was also available on Wattpad.
If you made it this far thank you again for reading.
Idea: Alya’s seen as a hero at Ella’s and Etta’s school.
For various things, really, like being able to talk to the resident bully who was picking on kids and get her to apologize to the rest of the class and be friends with them (to be fair, the kid was 6, so she wasn’t all that set in her ways).
When the kids favorite teacher is mistreated by the school administration, having her pay stay stagnant when it was promised to go up, Alya exposes the school administration as having lied, forcing them to give the teacher the raise she deserves in order to help with damage control.
Alya also has some awesome connections! She got Ladybug to stop by one week, and Chat Noir at another. Though of course, Rena Rouge and Carapace were the kid’s favorites, with many of them choosing to go as one of those two for Halloween.
Fanfiction Prompt
We know that multiple people can get Akumatized by a single butterfly if they're all holding the same object. What if two people are holding a Miraculous and say the transformation phrase together? Or: a new hero that's actually just Ella and Etta (Alya's little sisters) in a trench coat.
As a Miraculous Ladybug fan who just finished binging Fringe, I find it interesting that both shows have a pair of related girls named Ella and Etta (Alya’s sisters in the former, Olivia’s niece and daughter in the latter).
I know that in real life, the entire Césaire family is named after musicians so it must be just a coincidence, but in-universe I’m picturing Alya’s parents watching Fringe when it airs and then they name their twins after the Dunham girls ‘cause why not?
Miraculous Chapter 9/27: Traitors
(In Marriott’s Grande Vista, Adrien’s group lays asleep. Adrien wakes up.)
ADRIEN: (YAWNS) Morning, guys.
(The group gives scattered “Good morning” greetings.)
ADRIEN: Let’s start putting Operation Bring Marinette Back to Paris underway. Markov?
(Markov scans all of Orlando.)
MARKOV: I have found her. She is now leaving a Panera Bread in Waterford Lakes Town Center with a new group of friends. They plan to visit ICON Park tonight.
ADRIEN: ICON Park. That’s right on this road. Heck, we passed that on the way here. That’s where we go tonight.
(Now, during the last rays of sundown, Marinette and her new friends enter ICON Park. Marinette gawks at the Orlando Eye glowing colorfully against the night sky. Around the park, guests notice Marinette and point her out. The group approaches the entrance to the wheel.)
LUNA-TK: Alright. You head on in and enjoy yourself. We’ll be on lookout for anyone crossing you.
MARINETTE: Okay. Thank you.
(She goes inside. Meanwhile, with Adrien’s group in their room…)
MARKOV: She has arrived at the park.
ADRIEN: Let’s go, people.
(Meanwhile, Marinette arrives at one of the wheel’s cars.)
MARINETTE: Thank you.
(She boards the wheel. Meanwhile, Adrien’s group arrives.)
ADRIEN: Okay. Everyone search high and low.
ADRIEN (O.S.): She could be anywhere in this busy park.
(In the wheel, Marinette arrives at the top and overlooks the area around her.)
MARINETTE: Wow.
TIKKI: I mean, Paris had great views during your time as Ladybug, but this is amazing.
MARINETTE: Right? My choice to stay here gets better with every hour.
(Below, Markov sees her.)
MARKOV: She is now preparing to get off of that wheel.
MAX: Affirmative.
(Meanwhile, Marinette gets out of her car and onto the platform.)
MARINETTE: That was so good.
TIKKI: So now what?
MARINETTE: We’re gonna meet back with the group and work it out.
(Now, Adrien and the group find her outside the Museum of Illusions.)
ADRIEN: There they are!
MARINETTE: Huh?
(As the group approaches, all of Marinette’s new friends block them.)
LUNA-TK: Back up! Back away!
@calxiyn (simultaneously): Get out of here!
ADRIEN: What?
@luminara713: Get back!
ADRIEN: What’s going on? Marinette! We’re here to apologize!
MARINETTE: You think I want to hear what you have to say?
(Marinette moves through her friends and approaches Adrien.)
ADRIEN: You need to know how scared and devastated we were when we knew you were gone. We spent the rest of the day looking for you.
MARINETTE: So? Just the fact that it took me running away for you to come to the realization that you mistreated me speaks volumes. How did any of you ever come to the conclusion that a girl who tells the most unbelievable stories that can be fact-checked by a simple internet search is so spectacular? How did, “Marinette, someone we know always puts other people’s needs before her own, is bullying a disabled girl because of pity jealousy, even though she insists that she’s okay with Kagami dating Adrien,” cross your minds at all? Tell me, Adrien.
MARINETTE (CONT’D, O.S.): Why did I have to tell you to vouch for me? I don’t blame Mr. Damocles for shutting you up!
MARINETTE (CONT’D): You looked like you were only doing it because I asked you to and not because you actually believed me! You all did nothing when I got expelled,…
MARINETTE (CONT’D, O.S.): …not even Alya’s “detective work” turned out useful,…
MARINETTE (CONT’D): …and Lila was the one to get me back in with another lie, and I’m just supposed to forgive you?!
ADRIEN: Marinette, please…
MARINETTE: No! You know, if I can’t ever get it through your heads that I want you to leave me alone, my new friends will make you understand! Let’s get these traitors!
(As Marinette and her new friends charge, Adrien and the others turn around and flee past several onlookers.)
MAN 1: This we’ve got to see!
MAN 2: This is gonna be good.
(The group turns onto the street as the typical harsh rain you’d expect to see in Florida starts to fall. Marinette and her new friends follow. Ahead, Adrien and his group frantically pant as they hustle ahead of their pursuers.)
Tumblr media
(Looking back, Adrien finds fans coming from the streets they pass joining the chase. They run under the bridge connecting the Orange County Convention Center and the Hotel Convention Center.)
ADRIEN: Let’s go this way!
(They turn onto Hawaiian Ct and bump into Terence, who glowers down at them.)
Tumblr media
WOMAN: This way! Get them!
(They change direction, toward the bushes behind Walgreens, which they hop over. Manon falls off of her mother’s shoulders, and Alix catches her and passes her back to Nadja.)
MANON: Thank you!
ALIX: Don’t mention it.
(Back on the street, the group hustles toward the overpass. Kagami’s foot slips on a sewer drain and she falls, clutching her ankle in pain.)
ADRIEN: Kagami!
KAGAMI: My ankle!
(Looking beyond her, Adrien sees their pursuers approaching fast.)
ADRIEN: Anansi, you carry Kagami!
NORA: Don’t need to tell me twice, Cellphone Boy!
(Nora runs back and carries Kagami on her back. Ahead, the group rounds the corner at the three-way intersection leading to Marriott’s Grande Vista. Their pursuers start to close in. The group races into the lobby, their hair and clothes sopping wet, and their equally wet shoes squeaking on the floor. They scramble inside the open elevator.)
TRAVEL GROUP: Get in, get in!…Go, go, go!…Hurry up, get in, come on!…They’re coming, let’s go!
Tumblr media
ADRIEN: Come on, come on, come on, come on!
MYLÈNE: Get in! Get in!
(Their equally wet pursuers arrive. Adrien frantically presses the button to close the elevator.)
ADRIEN: Close, close, close, come on!
(The doors slide closed just before Marinette and her new friends can reach them.)
MARINETTE: Ah! Come on!
LUNA-TK: Darn! (SIGHS) Well, hey, hope you enjoyed the day with us before they showed up. See you tomorrow?
MARINETTE: Sure.
(Her new friends leave.)
LORI: They better not come near her again, or I will literally turn them into human pretzels.
(On the fourth floor, the group gets off the elevator.)
ALIX: I can’t believe this! We came all this way for nothing!
NATHANIEL: And Marinette has hardcore protectors now!
IVAN: Traitors! She called us traitors!
MYLÈNE: (SOBBING) How could she?
ADRIEN: This doesn’t make any sense.
ALYA: We’re so stupid! We should have seen this coming!
SABINE (O.S.): We really should have been keeping a more watchful eye!
CHLOÉ (O.S.): Yeah, and Lila deserves a pounding once we get back!
ADRIEN: Wait a minute, wait, hold on! Now is not the time to be hysterical!
NATHANIEL: Now is the perfect time to be hysterical!
ROSE: Should we be hysterical?
ALIX: No!
CHLOÉ: Yes!
ADRIEN: Maybe! But not right now! (SIGHS) Let’s call it a day now and figure it out in the morning.
(Later, the group lays asleep throughout the room. Plagg goes up to Adrien.)
PLAGG: (WHISPERING) You are concocting something right now, are you?
ADRIEN: No one concocts plans while they sleep, Plagg. Quiet before someone hears you.
(Fade to black.)
Chloe's Rotten Week #2: A Stammering Adrien AU Moment
Mole Mess
Based on this AU.
The Bourgeois family and the Cesaire family are having dinner at the house of Audrey's adopted sister, Alejandra, and her husband, Juan. However, things get messy as the girls try to help out in the kitchen.
Juan: Girls, please, you don't have to help. You're our guests.
Zoe: *carrying the pot of Mole* It's okay, Tio Juan. We don't mind. We're family.
Chloé: Si. Viva mi familia.
Alejandra: Ah, Chloé. En español. Muy bien.
Alya: *helping set the table* So Tia Alejandra, what's for dinner?
Alejandra: A personal favorite of mine. Mole. It's a delicious, savory, and sweet sauce. You can put it in or on a number of things. Tonight, I thought we'd serve it with chicken.
Chloé: *carrying the pot of Mole* It smells amazing.
Alejandra: Careful, Chloé. That mole is very hot.
Chloé: Don't worry, I've got it. *sets it down*
Marlena: Girls! Dinner!
Ella: I'm gonna get there before you!
Etta: You will not!
*the twins start running*
Otis: Girls! No!
Chloé: *fixing her plate*
Ella: *running in* Can't catch me! *bumps into Chloé* Oof!
Chloé: Augh! *hand slips and splashes mole on her face* AUGH! MY EYES!
Zoe: Chloé! Look out!
Chloé: *fumbles backward* I can't see! *bang into the table* AUGH! MY FOOT! *slips and falls* AUGH! MY BUTT! *the whole pot of mole falls on her* Ow...
Andre and Audrey: Chloé! *rush over to her*
Audrey: Are you alright, honey bee?
Andre: Oh, my poor little princess.
*Chloé wipes the mole off her eyes and glares at the twins*
*Ella and Etta stand there with guilty looks*
Later
Juan: *getting off the phone* Pizza's on its way
Alejandra: *cleaning up* Ay, what a mess.
Marlena: *helping* Alejandra, Juan, I am so sorry. The twins are just so...
Juan: Oh, it's alright.
Alejandra: Yeah. No use crying over spilled milk, or in this case, sauce.
*Chloé comes out of the bathroom in a white bathrobe, all clean*
Alya: *pushing the girls towards her* And what do you two have to say to Chloé?
Ella and Etta: We're sorry...
Chloé: *deep breath* It's okay, girls. *sits on the couch*
Zoe: *sits with her* So much for the mole.
Juan: *sits between his nieces* Don't you worry, mis sobrinitas. I still have plenty of ingredients. We can make mole next week.
Chloé: Fabuloso. It'll be nice to have it in me instead of on me.
Miraculous AU - Chapter 37 - Change of Plans
Beginning || Previous || Next
            A man sat at his desk as he stared at his sleeping kwami. His mind swirled with ideas and plans. Everything went smoothly so far. He had sponsored the newest mayoral candidate and she proved he wasn’t mistaken. The fashion show with Gabriel Agreste would happen as planned with everything ready to launch. Half the city was primed to be transformed at his call with successful transformations already. He had even had a few interested parties step forward for deals and exchanges for power when the time was right. Everything was going according to plan, except for the heroes.
            While the city didn’t embrace them immediately, he’d be a fool to deny the fame and respect they’ve garnered already. He would only assist them in gaining more with his creations. He needed to do something to show they weren’t as pure and dependable that the city saw them as. However, he needed to be cautious.
            He was aware of a call to all kwamis from the creation kwami thanks to his Nooroo. More kwamis would arrive and he hoped that he could sway certain ones to his side. He had the spider of betrayal on his side, but he would need more. However, that was a waiting game, and he would need to consider other methods of undermining the heroes.
            With his connections, he had a fair amount of information on the group. Perhaps he could use this to turn them or loved ones, preferably the heroes themselves. The loved ones could only be used as bartering chips, mere pawns. However, if he could transform the holders themselves, he could show Paris that their defenders were just as susceptible as anyone else.
            He pulled out a tablet and examined the information he had about them. There was nothing new on the greatest of them, except for a budding romance between the two. He could attempt to draw on any negative feelings or thoughts about their new relationship, but he feared he wouldn’t have the time needed with the wolf of intuition around.
            He looked through the information on Louve Grise, Alya Cesaire. Daughter of Otis and Marlena Cesaire. Otis was a zookeeper and Marlena was the head chef at Mayor Bourgeois’ hotel. Alya had sisters, an older sister named Nora and a pair of younger twin sisters, Ella and Etta. The twins could be of use, but not quite like the eldest, Nora. She had made a deal with him so long as he assisted with getting Alya to renounce being a hero. No easy task, but he’d need to remove Louve if he would get anywhere with the other heroes. However, he had a plan to use Nora to tarnish Louve’s image.
            He moved onto Souris Blanche, Juleka Couffaine, the mouse of perception. Daughter of Anarka Couffaine and rock legend, Jagged Stone. He had her twin, Luka, under his influence, until recently. He did his part as a villain, though he lamented the loss of a creation like him. She had saved him, like any good sister would. He didn’t believe he could directly affect her anymore, unless he could affect the brother again. The mother has reportedly been supportive of her kids, and neither are aware of their father’s identity. He hummed as he considered an idea. Perhaps he could use that information against them.
            As he considered a new plan, he moved to Alix Kubdel. A runaway rebel that is wanted, but always on the run. His butterflies were with her, but he halted their progress. As magnificent of a creation that she’d be with all her trauma, anger, and fear, there was an issue. At the heart of it was a deep seeded hatred for him. He could work around it, but there was no guarantee that she wouldn’t turn on him. No, he would use her friend Ondine. The young lady struck a deal with him. If she persuaded Alix to stop aiding the other heroes, he’d keep his creations from Alix. Not that he could completely guarantee that. Besides, he didn’t expect Ondine to succeed. Ondine would fail and she’d become a monster to scare Alix and the city further.
            Next was Queen Bee, Chloe. He had plans in motion for Chloe’s father, the mayor. Aside from the candidate he was backing, there were arrangements for the mayor’s ex-wife to stay in his hotel. He hoped this would cause a larger stir of emotions that his butterflies could properly exploit. As it stands, the mayor has been resistant and stubborn. That just left her best friends, Adrien and Sabrina. Unfortunately, he had made deals that kept him from touching them. Gabriel demanded his son be left alone and kept safe. That may change in time. The police chief promised him information so long as his daughter, Sabrina, was kept safe. As much as he wanted to use her, the information was far more valuable than a throwaway pawn.
            Last of the main group was Lapine, Rose Lavillant. A young girl that was a romantic at heart and stupidly naïve for her age. She lived with her stepfather since her mother abandoned her while she was young, and her blood father had passed on. He knew that he had his butterflies affecting the stepfather, but he had been hesitant. What the stepfather wanted was her. If he gave the stepfather what he wanted, he’d surely scar her for life. But that could be what he needs, isn’t it? With the wolf of intuition and the snake of health, he wouldn’t have the time to let things fester and grow. What he needed was quick, fast trauma, just like with Stoneheart. It made him sick to consider it, but he told himself he’d pay any price. And what was this one girl compared to his greatest wish?
            That left the last three: Mayura, Carapace, and the snake. Carapace he didn’t have much on aside from what the police chief had shared. According to reports, Carapace had been playing vigilante as he pursued mundane criminals. He was fine to leave Carapace alone so long as he didn’t side with the heroes. Carapace had been seen in the company of the snake and Chat Noir, but he had to hope Carapace wasn’t aligned with Chat Noir.
            The snake had nothing aside from his appearance. The boy had been vigilant with his identity and made himself sparse. He was only ever seen in the company of Chat Noir and Carapace once. He hoped that more information would come to light about the snake, but he would have to wait and see.
            Lastly, there was the mysterious Mayura. This woman had been overly cautious and aware. She always seemed to be aware that she was being watched. Careful not to fully reveal her face as she hid behind her fan. She hadn’t openly sided with the heroes aside from being reported to be training Chat Noir and Queen Bee along with Ladybug recently. Beyond that, there was nothing on her. A part of him hoped he could convince her to join him, but he would need to confront her, reveal himself. Maybe once other potential holder allies arrived, he’d emerge from the shadow, but not yet.
            A knock interrupted his thoughts. He put the tablet away and turned to the door.
            “Come in.”
            His assistant walked into the room. “Sir, it’s time for dinner with your son.”
            “Thank you. Before you leave, inform my son that I will be right down.”
            “Of course. See you in the morning, sir.”
            His assistant bowed his head and left.
            The man turned to his kwami. “Nooroo, get up. It’s time.”
            Nooroo shook, then stirred. “Master, I’m not ready yet. I need a little more time.”
            “You can sleep it off later, Nooroo. We need to work, now.”
            “But!”
            The man pulled out a brooch and placed it on his shirt. “Nooroo, wings rise.”
            Nooroo vanished into the brooch and transformed the man into Papillon.
            Papillon took a deep breath and held out his hand. “Akuma.”
            Dark energy materialized and formed into a purple butterfly. On its wings was a bleeding-heart pattern. The butterfly rested on Papillon’s fingertips. He stared at it, then looked at the pictures on his own son on his desk. Regret sliced through him as he looked at his son. He wouldn’t want this happening to his son, but he didn’t want him dead either. That didn’t stop him from creating monsters to kill and terrify, but this gave him pause.
            Papillon shook his head and looked at the akuma. He needed to do this. He needed to show Paris that their defenders were just ordinary people. People that could be just as easily twisted into monsters. He swallowed hard and threw the butterfly up.
            “Give that man whatever his heart and body desires.”
            Papillon watched the akuma fly off and vanish.
            “Nooroo, wings fall.”
            Nooroo popped out of the brooch and fell to the floor. The man put the brooch away and exited the room. Nooroo lay on the floor for a few minutes before he crawled towards the desk. He managed a few inches, then collapsed. He sighed and curled up on the floor.
            A peacock materialized and approached Nooroo. He looked up and smiled. It nuzzled him before it picked him up and placed him up on the desk.
            “Thank you, Duusu.”
            The peacock bowed its head, then vanished. Nooroo curled up and fell asleep.
