I call this one "Double Kill"

[ID. First panel, Nino sits at his and Adrien's table in school, he's angled to face Adrien, his right arm resting on the back of their bench and his left hand on the table. He's saying "I still can't believe I got Rose with "Ligma"..." with his eyes closed. There's a small amount of text next to his head that reads: "It was funny, but I still feel bad..." indicating he's saying it under his breath. Him saying this gets Adrien's attention.

Second panel, Adrien is facing forward at Nino. His face is set in a worried smile as he asks, "What's "Ligma"? Is it serious?".

Third panel, Wide shot of them at their desk, showing Marinette and Alya at their table as well, looking down at them. Adrien keeps an expression of now confused worry as Nino looks at him with an open mouth. Marinette is looking down at Adrien with both hands over her mouth as her shoulders shake with contained laughter. Alya is also covering her mouth, but her joy is less contained as she smiles. The word "SPEECHLESS" is written above them to help get the surprise the three of them feel across.

Fourth panel, a shot of Adrien alone, facing forward and covering his face in embarrassment as the statement, "Just found out what Ligma is" is pointed to him in a looping arrow.

Fifth panel, a wide shot of Ladybug and Chat Noir sitting on the edge of a building together. Chat Noir is sitting criss cross with his hands resting on his thighs, sitting forward a bit to show that he's listening to Ladybug. Ladybug is much more relaxed, leaning back on her right hand and holding her left hand up casually. She's smiling as she recalls: "And then he fell for Ligma! I feel bad, but I kinda wanna see if he'll also fall for "Candace"..."

Sixth panel, Chat Noir is now crossing his arms, raising an eyebrow, squinting his eyes, and tilting his head. His right cat ear tilts as well, while his left one stays straight. The words: "Skeptical but curious" are pointed at him with a straight arrow. He's saying, "And who's "Candace"?"

Seventh panel, Ladybug is looking at Chat Noir with a shocked expression, her eyebrows raised and her jaw dropped. She's sitting straighter, her hand is still resting on the ledge, but it's no longer supporting her. The same "SPEECHLESS" is floating above her as it was seen in the third panel, to show just how shocked she truly is.

Eighth panel, Chat Noir is sitting with his knees up to his chest as he covers his face with his hands in embarrassment. His ears are flattened and his tail is curled around his ankles. The words "Just found out who Candace is" is pointed at him with a straight arrow. End ID]

My one problem with the finale is we KNOW that plagg’s first choice for a backup chat noir is nino. He said it Out Loud earlier this season. And i think the writers were Cowards for not having Plagg zoom Directly over to nino. I know they couldn’t have done that because nino would have slayed so hard as chat noir and immediately rallied all the citizens of paris together to fight the nightmares and kissed alya on the lips for good luck and to make him immune to akumas and then he wouldve probably just defeated hawkmoth in two seconds to get it out of the way so he could go do important things such as Giving His Besties Hugs and using superpowers to bridal carry alya up to tall buildings to film the battle better (because she misses being rena and being able to get those cool shots) and like making hot cocoa for every single person in paris and using his temporary status as A Big Hero to organize free therapy for everyone. And then there would have been no plot left for the remaining seasons and it would maybe be anticlimatic or whatever. But it was still the coward’s way out and i’m right

Update: Some of y'all are taking this so seriously lmfao; yes I know that this show is geared towards kids, yes I know that duh she's the love of his 14-year-old life. I love this show and its ridiculously complicated ships. It was a dumb joke, don't take things so seriously lol. I just like making fun of middle schoolers and their relationships.

As much as I have opinions on how Miraculous goes about its writing, damn are the ideas it brings up so juicy

Like I feel like there’s something to be sad about how everyone deals with their problems or their trauma. Like, so many of the characters have issues, and it’s so fascinating to think about the way they respond to them

Marinette has the entire safety of Paris on her shoulders and basically in a constant state of trying to fix things even when it shouldn’t be her problem in the first place

Adrien was raised to be as obedient as possible and doesn’t know jack about how to be a kid, literally has no ambitions at the moment, he’s constantly apologizing for things that feasibly wouldn’t be his fault and trying to fit whatever mold he thinks someone wants of him

Chloe’s mom left her and is verbally abusive and calling her daughter a failure for the entirety of Paris to see, so she lashes out at everyone around her and constantly uses her dad’s power. Also the fact that two fully grown adults manipulate her before she’s sent away, just awful

Nino’s best friend has the worst dad imaginable and he felt powerless about the situation wanting to help Adrien (seriously I hope they bring up Guilttrip sometime in the future it reveals a lot of really concerning things about the characters), so he tries to be the best bro to him and give him every experience he can

No idea what happened to Lila as her backstory is uhhhhhh, but that lying, the disguises (she literally came to school in one), and the fake identities had to have come from somewhere. I remember, before the whole 3-moms-thing, theories about her lying for attention because her mom is never home and she’s genuinely lonely, using a scene where she’s talking with Nino and looks actually upset as evidence, so that’s something to consider

Luka’s dad left, and he basically became everyone’s therapist, which he really really really shouldn’t be. We’re told he’s this chill, go with the flow dude, but when your response when hearing your current girlfriend (or at least the in between friend and gf) still likes someone else and saying “I already know that”, that’s just concerning. Dude’s everyone’s therapist, but is anyone checking on him?

Juleka has anxiety and still has unresolved issues with her dad leaving and coming back and (my memory is fuzzy here) not really interacting with her? She’s quiet and keeps a lot of emotions just bottled up cause she doesn’t express them verbally

This is stuff off the top of my head, but damn. As much flack I like to give to this show, thinking about stuff like this is what keeps that little part of me who loved the show years ago alive. Like, I genuinely don’t care what some of the characters have done, I think all of them need a hug and as much therapy as possible

"This is all your fault!"

He felt panic seize him. This wasn't how he wanted her to find out, thinking he'd done something he hadn't. Nino wouldn't really out him. He'd been so understanding when he revealed himself, and he'd promised not to tell. Did you really think you could trust him? Him that thinks you're a stupid, obnoxious flirt? his mind mocked.

He felt everyone looking at him in confusion, expecting him to do something.

"Chat, what's he talking about?" He heard Ladybug ask gently, but he couldn't focus on her right now.

He shook his head at Nino slowly before widening his eyes, warning him that he'll regret it when he was back to himself.

But his best friend simply narrowed his eyes in determination.

"You took my parents didn't you?"

"Of cour-"

"Did your terrorising, psycho of a father twist his ring and make you take them? Bet he told you to lock them up in a coffin like your mom!" He felt his mind buzz. Stop. Stop. Stop. Stop. STOP IT.

"I bet he can't stand perfect families. You know, now that I think about it, maybe he didn't need to use his powers to make you do it. Maybe you did it willingly! Couldn't stand my mom not being in a coma because of me and my dad not being insane, yeah?"

He was walking forward now, jabbing his finger at his chest as he stumbled backwards.

"Nino don't," he breathed, but he wasn't listening. He felt his back meet a wall somewhere and he pushed himself against it as Nino got up in his personal space.

"Or maybe he just threatened to tell everyone that you're a senti-MONSTER. Or just snap his fingers and make you dissapear. Whatever it is, I DON'T CARE!" He screamed, spitting in his face.

The crowd was muttering now, whispering to each other. Some were yelling questions out loud as he cowered against the wall.

Nino stepped away and he straightened up again as he took in the faces of the crowd. They looked furious. Some were screaming things too fast or loud for his mind to process. His ears flattened against his blonde locks, every inch of his being aching to get out of there.

He could understand single words though. And 'boo' just happened to be one of those. The crowd started screaming and jeering at him as he shrank into himself, his breath quickening as the blood rushed out of his face.

Make it stop make it stop make it stop make it stop.

Ok...so im obv very new to this fanfic thing-and this part was super angsty...soo its pretty bad...but I'd love to know what u guys think!
