The family from the new Family Fortune Scenario, the Landry family before and after a little makeover. Ididn't change face features, sizes, eyes and skin color; just added a few cc to make them more detailed. Ava is my favourite, she looks so badass even without my retouch (all thanks to @sammi-xox Pluto skin default). You may also notice a couple of @laeska hair! Also, I don't know why, but Lila came without almost any shoes in any of her outifits! Meet granny Nyssa Landry and her three disappointing grandchildren: Ava Landry, Eddie Landry and Lila Landry. Which of them will get her inheritance?

stuck in their shadow! scenario ~ the ‘date?’ [ prologue || 02 ]

Nova’s days after Lewis spent the night were boring and stressful. Too much work, and even playing videogames didn’t soothe her as much as usual. She needed fresh air.

On Love Day, when the man himself invited her to a date at the Von Haunt Estate, Nova put on her favourite skirt and denim jacket and caught the subway right away. Seems he decided to own up to his feelings after all. Nova knew his flaws from their shared past, but she also knew the goodness in him. Late night texts, the observatory, and comfortable silences when no one else was around to compare them to each other seemed to override her memories of pettiness, a childish tendency to make embarrassing ‘jokes’ – she knew he was never fully joking – and unhealthy competition, and she hoped they could maybe start a new phase.

The architecture of the estate, its rich history and breathtaking botanical gardens surrounding it were famous for a good reason. It was beautiful.

Nova would have enjoyed her time a lot more, however, if he hadn’t greeted her and dipped. Another one of his stupid jokes, probably. Or maybe he’d just decided to let cowardice get the best of him.

The ride home was bitter.

WELP, I DIDDILY-DONE IT AGAIN

I freaking lost my main savefile of the Chowders while erasing the one where I was testing a scenario... I have no idea, it appears I double ckicked on two savefiles instead of one and now I lost the happy playthrough I was doing in Sulani. Goddammit, I feel so stupid. And all because I just had to try that new scenario that just came with the new drop today. UGH!

And of course I didn’t save the household, or the house itself. I can’t even start a new game with the same sims!

I’m so sad, I can’t even...

The next updates you’ll see from the Chowders were planned ahead and they’ll probably end with teen Molly meeting Rory. I had this story in mind where she would eventually become a werewolf and live with her best friend spellcaster Giulia Charm, and perhaps Giulia would have helped Greg to turn human again. Ah, I’m so sad...
