I like absolutely everything here. Perhaps because of a preconceived notion, because I have been waiting for this for many years... but I can not contain this feeling.
The beginning of the chapter, when everything is in warm colors. In the gloomy dining room, the renovations are completed, the Eckhart family sits down together again and makes fun of Reynold. And finally, a short conversation between the Duke and Penelope...
However, this changed with the hasty news that Pennel brought. The warm color fades, and cold fills everything. Excitement and a strange premonition.
And here it is. All the emotions are visible in their eyes.
The fourth season is going to be intense. This is just the beginning.
And in some ways these two dresses are similar to each other-
Sadie: (Choosing Reynold Eckhart over the father of her child, getting married and living happily)
Winter/Vinter: (The man who still loves her and will be unable to get over her) Just gonna stand there and watch me burn? Well, that's alright, because I like the way it hurts....Just gonna stand there and hear me cry? Well, that's alright, because I love the way you lie......I love the way you lie
Lol i remember somewhere in the novel (so spoilers) in the aftermath of penelope's coming of age ceremony the yknow. The eckarts, callisto and vinter has to be there to discuss what really happened. Then the eckarts didnt deny the possibilty that penelope poison herself to gain their ATTENTION lol. Im thinking that vinter sat there thinking "wow these family is so fucked up to think of this about their adoptive daughter"
What are your thoughts on Yvonne x Vinter? (same anon)
I don't have a whole lot of thoughts on them, but I do think one of the things that makes Vinter special for both Leila and possibly regular Yvonne is that he looks and acts like a prince, even if he isn't actually one. He's always the perfect gentleman, and he also found her and brought her back to her family/also would probably make a great pawn considering he's pretty well respected.
If it's normal Yvonne, then there's definitely a Prince Charming angle there. And once she finds out he can do magic, she's completely sold. It also may or may not help that her family probably wouldn't object to her marrying him too much, if at all, considering they are kind of indebted to him for bringing her back.
They're absolutely introvert/extrovert, though Yvonne doesn't mind staying in and helping him with his magic stuff. She'd also help keep the kids in line, considering there's like an absurd amount of them and only one Vinter. They're also absolutely that one aunt and uncle that have like. Twenty million cats.
