A loveless marriage. that's what this was supposed to be. A loveless and fruitless marriage between you and dion agriche.

Now why couldn't you do that, you may ask so kindly? Because this damnable husband of yours is a clingy puppy over you. Well, perhaps that's an overstatement but still. He was extremely against the rules of your supposed 'loveless marriage' as to him this was no marriage or just mere inconvenience, but rather a marriage where he finally has someone to talk with and do whatever he likes with (as long as you're comfortable, of course.).

Dion was known to be cold, calculating, ruthless, a complete psychopath but to you? He acts like a gentleman, if not that then perhaps just a clingy male who wanted every bit of affection he could get from you. Maybe it was because of his past experiences where he never got affection, but one thing was for sure the man would never leave you alone. No.

This morning was no different, you woke up and the first thing you feel is a heavy weight on half of your body, mostly the lower half. But a slightly lighter feeling was at your chest. You knew who it was of course thus you kept still. It would be a great disappointment to Dion if you dare move and tell him you do not wish to sleep in as you two normally do when he returns from a long hard work during one of his many missions.

After an hour, you finally make your movement to shift around. This was a sign to tell him to get up and start getting ready for the day. On a normal basis it would've worked but you knew better when it came to his return days.

The male absolutely refused to move out of your body. Especially not when he was feeling so much warmth against you. It'd be unforgivable to do such a terrible deed, that's what he thinks at the very least.

"Dion." Your tone was tired but it held firmness. It made Dion groan before he turned, finally letting you breathe smoothly once more.

His red eyes stare at you blankly at first, but then filling with utmost respect minutes later. "Good morning." His voice was sleepy and low. His eyes show dark circles under them, an unhealthy sign.

"Good morning." You answer, your hand reaching to stroke his hair. A move that deliberately gets Dion on his knees trying to reach your fingers.

He leans up and instead kissed you. His blanket gives way and makes the sight of his chest and undeniably tone and fit body in display for your eyes to see. Such a sight brought heat to your cheeks, a blush creeping forth bringing your thoughts deliberately known.

Dion simply grins as he pins you down. "Let's sleep some more." He spoke so kindly and smoothly, you wouldn't dare say no now, would you?

bruce has always been a supportive and protective relative to you. he wants you to be a happy person under his watch. he's been through countless suitors for you, testing them and letting them get to know you. he dislikes arranged marriages so he's been secretly making arranging meetings and tea times for you and your potential suitors. once you found your own lover, he would send his family to go investigate them.

dick grayson, the charming gossip magnet

many people know dick as the center of gossip, he has many connections and I'd the golden boy of society. he would help bruce with your suitors background and gossip to make sure he's not a bad person. he's probably the most open minded about you finding a suitor.

jason todd, the spy who forgot his mission

jason is the one who's most protective of you. he's practically your guard dog. he hates the idea of you finding a suitor, he tends to forget that bruce tasked him with spying because he spends so much time glaring at your suitor and nitpicking on their behavior.

tim drake, the historian

tim is tasked to make sure your suitor is the person of your dreams. he makes sure your suitors lineage has any bad things like curses or dark magic relations. also to make sure your suitors family history is good as well. tim is definitely supportive of your love, he's probably the first bat brother to figure out. I would like to thinm he helped bruce pick out suitors for you.

damian wayne, the test

damian probably figured out last you have a suitor. damian isn't aware that bruce made him the final test for your suitor. considering damian is as protective of you as jason is. except he's protective on a different level. a few potential suitors have lost the final test... making damian like you. damian has a keen sense for finding out horrible things about potential suitors. somehow he finds out one of them has horrible relations with the king, or the suitor doesn't wash his hands after using the restroom. damian is all of the bat brothers combined. which is why he's the last test.

cassandra cain & stephine brown

your best friends whom first found out about your little suitor. they were supportive of your love and using their detective skills made sure he's the right lover for you. they are your first test. if they don't like them, you don't like them!

Gabriel stared at the girl dumbfounded, she’d been sent with him to the valentine household, Her sister silently hoping she’d get killed while living there. “Oh I was going to enter the church” the mumbled, “I can enter with you then!” The girl smiled and held his hand.

Ah, the other difference between the two of you is that, What ever you do or say, makes the atmosphere uncanny in some way, creepy even. While Veronica held the opposite effect.

Gabriel once again stared at the girls gold eyes and let her, he let her drag him wherever she wanted, he didn’t want to protest.Yet to him this was absolute torture.

“Y/n let go” he frowned making it obvious this Time, “Hm, okay” yet she smiled brighter this time, was it to ease this awkward situation?. Why were you smiling.

He disregarded his thoughts and shoved past the girl in hurry, “what did I do?” She muttered under her breath, her eyes trained on him as she watched him leave.

“All I’ve done is act nice to him yet he still treats me like shit!” She whispered, even more, louder this time, her eyes down casting to the floor as she continued walking. “I’ll have to be stuck with him for a few years or so... I don’t even want to be here anymore” she sighed. It was clear that she was sulking.

Y/n returned to her room instead of following the boy, if she did she would’ve probably made it even more awkward and she couldn’t risk it at the moment, “Nothings going as planned, I’m doomed! I’m gonna end up dead!” She cried, She already knew that her own sister didn’t want her, nor did the church want her so that’s why they sent her.

For some reason the two siblings have always had this unspoken rivalry between each other, “I wanna go home” she sulked staring at the wall.

The next few weeks had passed at this point, It was the same routine everyday, it’d be her trying to make conversation with Gabriel then him refusing and then she’d be left alone to do whatever.

“This is so boring!” She sighed, yes it was true that she’d been sulking every day for the past weeks but she had nothing to do, the stuff she had to do was so easy that’d she’d finish it in no time.

The blonde stared out the window, After giving it some thought she decided to go walk in the garden out of boredom.

In a few minutes outside her good eyes sparkled with excitement, she was hiding behind a tree why? , Because she’d just ran into a fairy.

or that’s how she’d like to think, her pink hair was so pretty, it was like she could disappear at any moment.

She never spoke to her though she’d observe her threw the background it was something she’d do to fill her time.

One day she’d brought some food with her to continue this weird task she’d put her self up to, She opened the bag a little too loud when she felt someone staring at her.

She’d been found out. She would run away but then she’d get screamed at by Gabriel which she couldn’t have, she also wasn’t allowed outside when she wasn’t doing anything but here she was.

The blonde looked at her food instead, she didn’t look at the girl when she heard twigs break, nor did she stare when she saw two pair of shoes in front of her, simply she was too afraid.

The pink head knelt down and gave her a piece of paper, she didn’t move after she gave her the paper she stayed still waiting for an answer.

‘Why are you sitting here alone?’

That’s what was written on the paper, the girl looked up and met the fairy’s pink eyes, she smiled at her before standing up to her full height and extended her hand to help her up she gladly accepted.

“Miss.. what’s your name?” Y/n spoke her gold eyes staring at the fairy, she quickly scribbled out her name on a piece of paper before lifting it up.

‘Aria’

Her name is really pretty, The girl thought, she thanked Aria and continued following her not knowing what to do.

Aria led y/n to a more quieter place instead of seating on the floor there was a cloth covering it so that you clothes don’t get dirty.

“We’re here.” Rodrik calmly stated as he gently poked his wife’s shoulder. “Hm…?” Y/n voiced out as she groaned and stretched. Stayed sitting for a bit before yawning and finally standing up. Her husband left the carriage before her, that way he can help her get down.

Aciel watched his parents, an unamused expression on his face. “Gentle now.” Rodrik said as he helped his wife get out of the carriage. Y/n gently hopped out, dusting out her dress as she started walking towards the orphanage, slightly excited.

Aciel decided to just stay outside while his parents went in, the romantic gestures they showed made him sick. “I hope we pick a girl, it’s tough being the only woman in this family.” Said gently as she hugged her husband’s arm.

He gently patted her arms as assurance.

Sienna prayed that the grand duke won’t choose her, she simply didn’t want to go with him, not with how she was treated in her past life.

As the duke walked by, she held her breath in, staring down at the floor. She watched as the duke’s shadow loomed over her, she prayed that it was just a coincidence. But to her shock (and horror) the duke got on one knee infront of her. Everyone in the orphanage gasped in surprise.

“Won’t you come to Nacht with me?” He asked gently, waiting for her answer. “Ah…” That was the girl said, she didn’t want to respond, until someone gently tapped her on her shoulder. “Ah…my name is sienna, pleasure to meet you…” She said gently as she bowed.

From the corner of sienna’s eyes, she saw another figure near the grand duke. As the duke asked the question again, he felt a light hit on his head. The man rubbed his head, his wife frowning slightly. “You’re scaring the girl.” Y/n said gently, her fist clenched. She then also squatted down and gently smiled at the girl.

“Sienna is a beautiful name, my name is Y/n! Would you like to come with us?” She asked as gently as she could as to not scare the girl. Sienna stared in shock, she didn’t remember a grand duchess, nor someone like y/n. It deeply confused Sienna as she stared at the lady.

“…Is there something on my face, dear?” Y/n called out gently to Sienna, worried about the child. Sienna realised something had changed, it made her head hurt a lot, before she could process it, she fell to her knees. The worried duchess called out to Sienna, so did the grand duke, trying to hold onto her incase she fell.

“No! I-” Sienna tried to distance herself away from the couple before collapsing. The kids yelled out in shock and horror. Screaming that she fell. Y/n immediately held the girl her arms, worried she may have gotten hurt. Sienna felt the warmness and she didn’t want to let go. ‘I don’t want to leave.’ She thought as she felt calm before fainting.

Y/n got worried as she cradled the child in her arms. The teacher immediately went to the grand duchess’ side. “Does..does this happen often?” She asked worriedly, Rodrik watched his wife from the sidelines as she calmly and gently rocked back and forth as she patted Sienna’s back. The teacher answered her as well as she could, mentioning anything she remembered about the kid. Y/n looked at the child in her arms and felt pity, she felt sad for Sienna.

Rodrik felt rage as he started telling his guards to takeaway the orphanage headmaster, he saw how the kids were clearly mistreated her, seeing how small all the kids were. Especially sienna, she was too small for her age.

Sienna opened her eyes gently to see the scene before her, she then heard the worried voice of Y/n. “Sienna! Are you alright dear?” She asked gently, brushing the girl’s hair gently. Sienna looked at the woman stunned but she didn’t want to leave her arms. It felt warm..and loving.

Rodrik then worriedly looked at the girl in his wife’s arm. Sienna thought that it was a good time for her to act like she didn’t want to leave. She started fake crying into the duchess’ arm, yelling she was scared as she fake sobbed.

“Can I not come?” She asked the duchess, who worriedly looked at her, patting the girl’s head. She then looked at her teacher and asked, telling Lisa (teacher) that she will be a good child. Rodrik watched, stunned as his wife tried to calm the kid down. The teacher explained to the couple that she must be scared to leave a place she was attached to, but she regardless said that Sienna was a good child.

Y/n felt sadness as she watched the kid, she knew what it felt like. She used gentle words and tried to calm the girl down. Sienna then started crying again, but for real this time. She sobbed saying she didn’t want to leave.

“Fine, sienna please don’t cry, we won’t take you, okay?” Y/n said gently before handing the girl over to her teacher. Sienna clinged to her teacher as she sniffled. Rodrik helped his wife up gently, affirming that he’ll come another day. Y/n dusted her dress, and bowed slightly, as they started heading away.

As they got outside, Y/n sighed gently, she gripped her dress as she thought about Sienna. She was worried to say the least. “Y/n, calm down.” She heard her husband gently say, holding her hands from further creasing her dress.

Aciel walked over to his parents in confusion and asked what happened. Y/n calmly explained everything, the best she could. Aciel listened quietly. Both the duke and Aciel felt as though as something bad was happening. So they both decided to head back in, telling y/n to wait in the carriage.

Y/n nodded, confused. She got back into the carriage with the help of Rodrik. He kissed the back of her hand and gently told her to wait. Y/n smiled while blushing gently, nodding. She quietly waited in the car for her husband and son to come back. Eventually falling asleep again as she waiting for them.

After a while, she heard a tap on the carriage window, which woke her up, her husband and Aciel was back, but this time with Sienna. She saw the teacher and sienna talked after she help put the child into the carriage.

She gently greeted the kid who only shyly nodded in response. She patted Sienna’s head, gently talking to her and asking if she’s fine. Sienna only nodded in response, even though she shouldn’t trust them, she couldn’t help but break her walls down when it came to the duchess.

Sienna eventually ended up falling asleep, leaning against the duchess as they rode to the Nacht dukedom. Rodrik watched his wife and sienna sleeping with a gentle smile whereas Aciel opted to look outside the carriage window, thinking about a certain someone who was probably waiting for him back home.

As they finally reached the mansion, the duke again woke his wife up gently, letting her know they had reached their home. Y/n yawned quietly and she woke up. Aciel was already outside, so was Rodrik. He gently picked up Sienna and held her in his arms as he waited for wife to get out of the carriage.

Y/n gently hopped out of the carriage, dusting off her dress. They all headed into the mansion. Y/n stretched as quietly as she could so she didn’t wake up the kid.

The servants tried to greet the three but Y/n gently asked them to quiet down as Sienna was sleeping. The servants nodded quietly. Rodrik again felt a small smile move onto his face. Their youngest Micheal called out to his parents.

He hurriedly ran down the stairs, Y/N told him to be careful and to not run. He then stopped near his parents and asked who sienna was. Y/n moved closer to her youngest son and explained she’ll him after they put sienna to bed. Micheal nodded as his mother gently kissed his forehead, patting his head and giving him a gentle smile.

“Ah right, Aciel, M/n should be waiting for you.” She whispered into his ears, Aciel slightly blushed as he nodded, letting his father know he’s going to his room. Rodrik simply nodded as he and wife headed towards the moon cradle.

Rodrik gently put Sienna into the bed, making sure she was comfortable, y/n helped as well, whereas Micheal watched his parents. “I’ll stay here, you guys get out, the baby’s sleeping.” She said gently as she shooed her husband and her child. Micheal nodded as he gave his mother a quick hug and walked away.

“I’ll have to leave soon again, dear.” Rodrik said as he kissed his wife’s palm before placing it on his cheek. Y/n smiled softly as she kissed her husband’s other cheek. “Alright, I love you Rodrik.” She said calmly with a smile. He smiled back, gently bumping heads with Y/n before leaving the room and closing the door.

Y/n watched as the door finally closed shut fully, she fell into the seat next to the bed as she watched the sleeping sienna. She gently held the unconscious child’s hand in hers. “This time, I promise sienna, I’ll definitely protect you.”

Here is my take on why the author makes jeremy and Nora mirror each other’s behavior throughout the story, from a side it makes jeremy look like a more suitable ml/love intrest. Maybe it also gives a bit of rivalry between the two to make the audience think jeremy has any chance. Which he doesn’t have at all.

The only behavior that made Jeremy look suitable was the fact he had blocked any other potential person from becoming his partner/companion.

He stayed focused on shuli for many years and probably in some of them he never pictured Shuli as his step mother.

However Jeremy’s character is only there to strengthen Nora’s role as the ml, since later Jeremy finds his most suitable partner.

Which brings the conclusion that nora was the best option for Shuli and she was never/or would never be a great companion (romantically) to Jeremy, he only loved her because she was there and gave him the attention and validation he needed after feeling neglected.

Also being the eldest child played a role in Jeremy’s character.

This might not sound so accurate due to the fact I’m manhwa only and haven’t checked the novel yet.

So forgive me for my mistakes.

Everything starts with MC trying to run away from rebels and arriving at promised place with a broker who will help her to get to safe place or... will he?! First smut is good and although MC's IQ decreases sometimes, it still has decent art and enjoyable moments. It has this creepy vibe at first but it gets better.

3. Marriage of Convenience

This one is timetravel/historical manhwa. There is both R15 and R19 ver out. There is alot of historical elements in it like child marriage and ect. Characters are living in a dark age if you ask me. eventhough MC's second life is much brighter, it doesn't change the real facts. I enjoy how ML grows closer to MC and is such a fanboy for her.

2. A Kind Goblin's Bird

This manhwa is pure fluff. MC being abused all her life learns how to love and embrace her deep scars from ML. I love how also ML had a tragic past but it didn't make him a tr*sh. They are a perfect and healthy couple for smut genre. (Completed)

1. The Broken Ring

Aka "This Marriage Will Fail Anyway". This one got R19 version recently and manhwa's art is so pretty you all gonna enjoy it. Aside from R19, I have to mention this story is deep and tragic. It will touch you heart and makes you cry and laugh with it. Do not judge ML in first chapters. Trust me.
