As Walter looks down on you, watching you be this horny needy little blood doll of his, he can't help but chuckle. Watching you whimper and moan as you grind yourself against the tip of his shoe as you wrap your arms around his leg. Wet, fuckin soaking wet and needy for him you look up at him and bite your lip.
"I'm so wet… so needy…" You whimper. "I need you, Master." You whimper.
"Do you now, Blood Doll?" He asks with a slight arch of his brow.
"Oh, yes Master, I really… really need you. I need you to fill me. I need you to feed on me." You whimpered as you graze your bud against his shoe.
With a soft chuckle, he takes your chin and forces you to look at him. "Beg for it." He states.
Biting your lip you look over his face, your hands sliding up his hips, over the front of his pants pawing at him.
"Please, Master… Please. I need you, so badly, I need you to fuck me, I need you to feed on me. I need your guidance. Please… Please Master." you beg.
"Aww, look at you. Stand up." He demands.
Standing up you look over his face, biting your lip you let out a soft whimper as you press yourself against him. He reaches his hand between your legs and feels how soaking wet you are.
"Now what do we have here my sweet little Blood Doll? Are we soaked?" He asked.
"Yes, Master, that's how badly I need you." You state nodding.
"Well now… I'm sure that can be arranged." He chuckles with that charming smile of his.
Turning you around he makes you face the outside yard as he places your hands on the railing of the gazebo. As he feels himself stiffen from your arousal he groans and slips his hardened member between your folds and groans.
"You're such a needy girl." He groans softly.
"I'm always needy for you master." You moan softly as you grip the railing and let out another soft moan.
As he kisses your bare shoulder he moves the crook of your neck and sinks his fangs right in. You let out a slightly louder moan and grip the railing tightly. Looking down you see the blood from the bite drip down your chest, you bring a hand up and wipe it across your chest, smearing it into the skin as you let out another moan.
"Oh Master… you're too good to me." You whimper.

Honeymoon (Walter DeVille | The Invitation)
Summary — It’s your first night as Walt’s new wife.
Warnings & Other Tags ➳ Potential spoilers for The Invitation; literally just pure fucking smut because I’m a slut for this man; mentions of vampirism (including smoking hot Thomas Doherty fangs, biting, blood, etc.); themes of ‘Predator vs Prey’; cursing; far too much usage of ‘my love’; Evie is stronger than me because I would have agreed to be Walter’s wife in a heartbeat, no questions asked.
Notes ➳ Word Count is 4,333. ➳ Reader uses feminine pronouns (she/her).

Your beloved had always had some... animalistic tendencies.
It was rather obvious to everyone that you were Walt’s favorite bride. Or, now that you were finally married, his favorite wife.
His sharp gaze had been watching you all evening. He was similar to a predator admiring a fresh kill. Despite being surrounded by an endless number of wedding guests, Walt had no intention of taking his attention away from you.
As you thanked Lucy and Viktoria for their compliments and well-wishes, a shiver traveled along your spine as Walt’s clawed fingers slowly ran along your arm. You could sense his satisfied grin when he noticed the effect he had on you.
Walt was getting restless with the desire to take you away from your demanding audience. Bringing your hand to him, he pressed your palm against his cheek before leaning into your touch. You were trying your best to keep up your conversation with your two beautiful friends, ignoring his desperate call for attention.
His lips pressed gently kisses to each of your fingertips before moving on to your palm. Continuing his affection, his kisses trailed along to the back of your hand as well. He dragged his claws up and down your arm as your hand was returned to his cheek, burrowing his nose against your flesh.
His gaze fluttered back to you. He rolled his eyes when you refused to look at him. You were always doing this sort of thing, always letting him know that he couldn’t have everything.
He was fine with your antics. It thrilled him to no end whenever he had to chase after your attention. It gave him time to worship you.
The hand that had been dragging along your arm paused on your wrist. The other splayed out your palm against his face. If sweet, doting admiration wouldn’t catch your attention, perhaps a little pain would.
You yelped as your husband tore a wound into your wrist. Lucy’s eyes widened while Viktoria could only smirk in sick amusement. Turning your attention to him, you couldn’t help rolling your eyes.
With his fangs buried deep within your flesh, his hooded gaze stared back at you with a certain glimmer of arrogance. You could practically hear his thoughts as he indulged himself on your metallic nectar.
Have I gotten your attention yet, my love?
You scoffed with an amused smile, shaking your head at Walt’s desperation. He closed his eyes as he continued tasting you. He roughly shoved your wrist closer to him with a tight grip.
“I think our husband wishes to leave his own reception,” smirked Viktoria, staring intently as Walt slowly pulled away.
With a wink and a knowing smile, Lucy whispered, “Have fun!”
You bid the two women farewell, watching as they disappeared into the crowd of guests. Once they were gone, your eyes drifted back to your husband.
Walt was solely focused on your wrist. His fangs had finally left your flesh. Now, his tongue ran along your skin, greedily claiming any blood he may have left behind. He glared fiercely when you attempted to pull your hand away. His grip tightened and his claws threatened to pierce your skin.
You slowly began to lean towards him. His eyes darkened and he immediately tugged at your arm to pull you closer. He made an advance towards your neck, groaning loudly when you forced him to pause in his movements.
He had been just shy of his goal. He cursed under his breath, stretching as far as he could, practically leaning over your entire body, in an attempt to reach you. You let out a quiet laugh as his sharp fangs barely grazed against your flesh. He complained once more when you finally gained enough strength to shove him away.
You ran your fingers through his dark hair in an attempt to sooth him. His eyes trailed over your figure with dark intent. He bit his lip harshly as he took you in. You looked ravishing. He met you in the middle for a soft kiss.
Placing his hand on the back of your neck, he muttered against your lips, “My love—”
“Later,” you quietly interrupted.
He groaned, hooded eyes still wandering, “Now.”
“We can’t leave yet—”
“Then perhaps I should just take you here,” he whispered, and then he grinned mischievously as a surprised gasp escaped you. “Oh? Do you like that idea? Do you wish to be fucked in front of everyone like some common whore?”
Your eyes narrowed while his smile only widened. He winked at you and flashed his fangs in an attempt to get your annoyed façade to break. All he received in return, however, was an unamused scoff, “I want a divorce.”
He chuckled, giving you a quick kiss before he muttered, “Not. Happening.”
You smiled when he brought your wrist to his lips once more. He repeatedly pressed kisses against the area where he had bitten you, effortlessly soothing your wounded skin.
“Do you really want to leave?”
He pretended to pout, though his true feelings were given away by his excited eyes, “Please?”
You sighed dramatically, which he knew meant ‘yes’ since you allowed another smile to spread across your lips. He quickly stood, gained the attention of the guests, and announced that the two of you would be retiring for the evening while Lucy and Viktoria took over as hosts.
‘Retiring’, you thought. Yeah, right.
Walt held out his arm for you to take before slowly leading you through the crowd. You smiled at those who offered another round of congratulations, feeling excitement build within you as Walt led you through the manor gardens.
His grip on you tightened. Plucking a rose, his lips pressed against yours before he placed the flower in your free hand.
Inside, the manor was dark, which was normal. Your husband preferred it so, claiming that it ‘improved the hunt’. Everyone, including the staff, were outside, leaving you alone with your eager husband.
The two of you paused in front of the grand, stone staircase. Walt circled you slowly, eyeing you up and down with darkened eyes. His pupils were blown wide. He came to a stop behind you.
His overwhelming presence sent shivers throughout your entire being. You were sure he could hear your heart pounding furiously.
His claws traced along your figure. The feeling began at your shoulders, trailed down your arms, and then finally came to a stop at your hips.
Your eyes closed. You tilted your head, allowing him access to the soft skin of your neck. You couldn’t stop yourself from relishing in the feeling of your husband leaning in to trace his nose along your profile. Occasionally, he’d paused to leave a kiss or two, fangs threatening to pierce you once more.
He sighed against you, digging his sharp claws into your sides, nearly breaking the skin of your hips through your clothing. His teeth ran over your ear before he paused to whisper, “Shall we play a game, my love?”
Your eyebrows furrowed, unsure of where he was going with such a question, “What sort of game?”
He chuckled deeply, “One of predator... and prey.”
You inhaled sharply as one of his hands slowly traveled along the length of your torso. His large palm found its new home upon your throat.
“Do you know what a predator does when it captures its prey?”
“What?”
He kissed your temple gently between each of his words, “Whatever. It. Wants.”
You shuddered at his response. Slowly, his tight hold loosened. The sound of a ticking clock echoed throughout the room. His lips hovered closely over your ear. Your heart felt as though it planned to leap out of your chest.
“Run.”
You bolted, using the stone edge of the staircase to help you along. You could feel his eyes burning into you, carefully watching as you disappeared around a dark corner.
To anyone else, this would probably seem twisted. To you, however, it was exhilarating and left you quietly gasping for air with a wild grin on your face. You wandered further into the manor, deciding to leave your clicking shoes behind in an effort to throw him off.
With every shadow in the corner of your eye or each creak of the floor, you’d feel your heart race. Hand clasped over your chest, you paused at the sound of slow footsteps. You could see the light of a match approaching from the other end of the corridor. Quickly pressing yourself into a dark corner, you held your breath as he began to close in on you...
No.
No. He passed you by.
You shivered at the sight of him. He had stripped himself of his jacket and tie. His left hand was hidden within his pocket while the other held a flickering match between his fingertips. Slow, easy footsteps, almost as though he knew you had no chance.
Peeking around the corner, you watched the muscles of his back shift beneath his white shirt. You grimaced as you tripped over your feet due to the distraction, tumbling clumsily to the floor.
Walt paused. You could almost see the widening grin on his face as he contemplated your mistake. Slowly, he turned, tilted his head, and allowed his eyes to wander over your fallen figure.
He barely had time to flash his fangs at you. In seconds, you had stood and took off in the opposite direction. His sinister chuckles echoed off the walls as he quickly followed.
You rounded yet another corner and reached out for the first doorknob in sight. Closing the door, you pushed your way into the room. His room.
Of course.
His shoes tapped against the floors in the corridor, taking you out of your realization. Just as the doorknob began to rattle, you opened up his wardrobe in the corner and hid away inside.
The door shut once more. The action was then followed by the click of the lock, trapping you within the four dark walls with no one but your husband for company. Perhaps, if he was far away enough, you could make another escape.
He approached his bedside table. Knowing you had little chance of getting away, he took his time removing his watch before sliding off his shoes as well. His back was turned to you.
You tried your best to be quiet as you eased the wardrobe door open. Luck seemed to be on your side when it made little noise. The lock that had trapped you inside, however, gave you away.
The rustling of his movements stopped when he heard the click of his bedroom door. You pulled at the door to no avail. It was shoved closed once more by the force of his splayed hand. His other was tightly wrapped around your chest and shoulders, roughly pulling you against him.
He slowly turned the lock back into place. He then allowed that hand to wrap around your waist, though it felt eager to venture elsewhere.
Fangs tracing over your skin, he ran his lips from your neck to your ear before he whispered, “Caught you.”
Your head fell back against him in surprise. You couldn’t contain the sharp, startled gasp that escaped you. Your eyes widened at the feeling of his fangs sinking into your neck. Your mouth fell open in pleasure as he ravaged your soft skin.
One of his hands traveled along your body until it found itself roughly cupping your jawline. His claws nearly impaled themselves into your flesh due to his tight grip. Walt held you in place against him as he enjoyed the perfect, bittersweet taste of your blood.
You were tugged back into his dark embrace, falling further into the deep shadows of his room. He turned, shoving you onto his bed with a sinister glimmer in his eyes.
You smiled up at him, shaking your head as you balanced on one of your arms. Your free hand reached out for him, but he pushed it away with a wild grin.
His lustful eyes raked over your clothed figure. Leaning forward, he crawled upwards along the length of your body, easily making you lie on your back as he hovered above you.
His thumbs traced slow circles on your cheeks and temples. Though they still contained that same dark intent, his eyes softened slightly when they met your gaze.
He leaned into your touch as you began running your hands through his thick hair. He pressed a soft kiss to your wrist, and then quietly muttered against your skin, “May I have you?”
His eyes closed at the feeling of your thumbs gently tracing over his eyebrows. You then did the same beneath his eyes, examining every feature of him as he waited for your reply.
“Yes.”
His hand was beneath your chin in a matter of seconds. You encased his wrist tightly in one of your palms. He pushed your head back, digging his immortal bite into your neck once more. His weight was pressed against you, which allowed you to feel every crevice of his strong body.
You could feel blood cascading along your skin as he shifted his position. He lifted you just enough to move each of you further onto the bed. You reached back with one hand to tightly grip a soft pillow. The other wrapped itself within Walt’s hair as he traveled downwards.
You were forced to release him when he decided to kneel between your legs. He smirked down at you. Your body trembled as his tall, shadowy figure overwhelmed you.
Walt was thankful that you had chosen a different dress for the reception. The fabric draped perfectly over your body. He could feel you beneath the dark ensemble as his hands traced along your figure.
You watched in anticipation as his head turned to eye your ankle. Slowly, he wrapped his fingers around it. You raised your eyebrows at him, though he paid you no mind as he lifted your leg until your ankle could rest against his shoulder.
Before you could react, your grip on the pillow had tightened exponentially. The other wrapped itself within the sheet. Your back arched at the feeling of his fangs sinking into the flesh of your ankle.
He groaned loudly. Wrapping his free arm around your thigh, completely encasing your limb, he forced you against him as he tightly closed his eyes. He couldn’t get enough of you. Fortunately for him, the night was only beginning.
He allowed your ankle to fall back onto the bed, swallowing deeply and running his tongue over his stained lips. He quickly shoved his hands beneath your dress, pushing the fabric upwards until he could tug it over your head.
His lips met yours in a rough kiss. As you embraced him, he used his clawed fingertips to rip open the bra that covered your breasts. He wasted no time, immediately indulging himself.
As his hand busied itself with your left breast, thumb working against your nipple, his mouth found refuge on the right. He repeatedly kissed your warm flesh. Quickly, he decided to latch onto you with his mouth, tongue swirling.
His dark hair found itself within your grip once more. You bit your lip harshly at the pleasurable feeling, unable to think properly.
But things only felt better when you realized his free hand had slowly wandered downwards. His long fingers shoved their way beneath the lace fabric that shielded your heat. He cupped your warmth, grinning against you.
“Did you wear these for me?” he muttered, not waiting for an answer as he began making his way down your body, kissing every inch of your skin.
“For Viktoria.”
He paused in his affection to glare up at you. Clearly, he didn’t appreciate your fine sense of humor. With an amused grin, you sharply tugged at his hair, causing him to grunt, and then continued, “Get to work, Mr. DeVille.”
He slowly shook his head, quietly scoffing at your antics. Both of his hands drifted to your hips and wrapped around the edge of the black lace. Running his tongue over his sharp teeth, he smirked, “As my mistress commands.”
Your laughter was cut off by a gasp rising in your throat. Walt turned his head from side to side, repeatedly biting along each of your thighs until he finally made his way to your center.
Over the lace fabric, he pressed an open-mouthed kiss against your warmth. You tugged his hair again at the feeling. Heat pooled within you as he slowly pulled away the lace. Grinning, he tossed it aside.
He swallowed deeply before delving into you. You cried out, fingers digging into his scalp. Walt paid your actions no mind. His tongue rushed across your opening, flicking your clit.
His claws dug into your thighs, pulling your legs over his shoulders to keep you still. It wasn’t an easy feat. Your back was arched and your mouth had fallen into a silent scream.
Walt shoved his tongue into you, feasting on your essence as though it were his last meal. His thumb joined his mouth in a perfect duet of pleasure. He roughly slapped your clit and smiled against you when another cry escaped your throat.
His pants felt tight and he moved his hips against the bed in an effort to gain some relief. Trailing kisses along your torso, he pushed his fingers in and out of you at lightning speed. He stroked one of your thighs, finally lowering your legs with your knees bent as they rested on either side of his hips, encasing him against you.
He pressed his forehead to yours, but refused to kiss you despite your pleas. Instead, he watched as your face collapsed into an expression of sinful pleasure.
Your orgasm drenched his hand and he pulled his fingers out of you. You slowly opened your eyes, watching as he held his wet fingers to your lips.
“So soon? You really should clean up your mess, my love.”
He leaned in, returning his attention to your neck, biting a new wound into your flesh. The action made you gasp openly, which, in turn, allowed him to shove his soaked fingers into your mouth.
He pressed his lips against your temple, smearing fresh blood against your soft skin. He rolled his hips into you, biting his lip as he felt your tongue swirl around his fingertips, tasting yourself on him.
He groaned at the sight of you. Your bare skin was aglow beneath him. He could feel himself straining against his clothes. He focused his attention on your shoulder, sinking his teeth into you once more. You knew you’d be absolutely covered in bite marks by the time this was over.
Not that you minded, of course.
As he lost himself in you, he used his hands to bring yours to his shirt, letting you know that he wanted you to rid him of the fabric. You busied yourself with the buttons, turning your head to plant kisses against his profile.
Sensing your desires, he reluctantly pulled his attention away from your shoulder. He soothed your newest wound with his tongue, lapping at any leftover blood. His stained lips met yours just as you began pushing the white fabric off his shoulders. Walt helped with the process and tossed the shirt aside.
He rose to his knees, removing his belt. His pants quickly followed, but not without incident. You grunted when he tumbled on top of you, barely catching himself to keep from knocking the wind out of you.
“Why did you make me wear these?” he grumbled, though his grin gave his amusement away.
You giggled, trying your best to help him, “Because they looked nice.”
He rolled his eyes with a smile when you gently kissed his cheek. He then pushed himself off your body. You shifted onto your elbows, watching as he sat on the edge of the bed. Once the pants reached his ankles, he yanked them off, threw them across the room, and then grinned at you over his shoulder.
You scoffed with a teasing smile, “You’re so dramatic!”
He chuckled, “C’mere.”
You allowed him to tug at your hand. You moved on the bed to kneel behind him. He tightly clasped both of your hands and draped them over his chest, but not before pressing a kiss to each one.
He then reached and tugged at the top of his briefs. You repeatedly kissed the top of his head and temples, watching intently as the fabric disappeared from his body and joined his shirt on the floor.
He turned his head to meet your lips. His hand tightly gripped your wrist and dragged your palm downwards along his chest.
His brows furrowed. He broke your kiss with a groan, breathing heavily against you. He trembled at the feeling of your nimble fingers working the length of his thick cock. He tucked his head into your shoulder, hiding away as moans escaped him.
You pressed your lips against his temple in light kisses. You used your free hand to rake your fingers through his dark hair, gently scratching his scalp as you did so. Through his gasps and grunts of pleasure, Walt placed open-mouthed kisses against your skin.
You traced your thumb over the head of his member. Beads of pre-cum made themselves known. His cock hardened further beneath your touch, if such a thing was even possible. Each stroke sent shivers along his spine and quiet murmurs tumbled from his lips against your skin.
Gently, he wrapped his hand around yours, stopping your movements. He kissed you deeply, nudging you back into your former position of lying on your back. He crawled up the expanse of your body. His hands ran up and down your sides, occasionally giving you a tight squeeze whenever he caressed your hips.
Returning his passionate affection, your arms draped over his shoulders, allowing your fingertips to trace shapes against his bare, muscular back. He sighed peacefully at the sensation.
He only broke the kiss to reach down and grab his length. Your gaze followed, hands weaving into his hair once more. He wasted no time in pressing the head of his cock against your slick folds.
Your grip on him tightened and your head fell backwards. He took the opportunity to lean his slack-jawed face against your neck, breathing against you heavily.
He was so big inside you. And no matter how many times you had taken him in the past, his cock always left you stunned at its size. Tugging at your ear with his teeth, he breathed, “So sweet for me.”
“Walt,” you sighed, “please—! Oh!”
His hips dug into you repeatedly and he grunted loudly with each thrust. You could hardly breathe as he pounded into you.
As you tightened your grip on him, pulling him closer by his hair, he sank his sharp fangs into you once more with a quiet apology, “Sorry, my love. Your taste is impossible to resist.”
“It feels good.”
Your murmured response made him groan against you. As he indulged himself on you, his thrusts sped up. You couldn’t stop yourself from crying out in pleasure with every hard thrust of his cock.
The sound of skin against skin echoed throughout the room. Walt hissed and growled as your blood flowed into his throat. It was almost as though your taste would be his last meal.
He shoved his arms beneath you and pulled you flush against his bare flesh. Hunched over your body, he moved at an inhuman pace, reminding you of what he truly was.
You placed your hand against his throat. With blood on his lips, he bared his fangs with a grimace. You pulled him into a deep kiss as warmth grew within you.
Eventually, he couldn’t keep up with your affection. He pulled away from the kiss and leaned his forehead against yours. He panted as his thrusts became uneven. Moving one hand to your center, he stroked your clit.
You took his bottom lip between your teeth with a pleasured moan. His pace faltered as his climax drew closer. His skin was glowing with sweat as his hips stuttered.
“Cum with me, my love,” he panted. “Let go.”
As his hand continued its ministrations against your clit, the other quickly wrapped around your throat. You followed his movements, placing your own hands atop his, which was sure to leave your neck bruised the next morning.
“Walt...”
He silenced you with a kiss. You could feel his cock inside you, pulsing and writhing with the need for a release. The thought of him gaining pleasure from you struck a chord within you.
Your back arched, pressing your front against his. Walt didn’t seem to mind. Instead, he tightened his hold on you and tugged you impossibly close. Your hands shot around his shoulders. One dug into his strong back while the other yanked at his hair as the two of you rocked back and forth against the bedspread.
A wave of pleasure washed over you. Another orgasm overwhelmed your body. Walt’s thrusts stuttered, trying to bring himself to completion. He continued rubbing your bundle of nerves. Your body writhed with overstimulation until he joined you in ecstasy.
With a final grunt, his hips landed against yours. He shuddered, mouth agape, as he climaxed. His weight all but collapsed on top of you. When he pulled out, you could feel his release venturing out of you.
He collapsed next to you. Both of you struggled for breath. Walt reached out to gently caress your skin. His skin was aglow. Grasping your hand, he kissed each of your fingertips gently.
You could feel tiredness taking over your body. Walt smiled at you with soft eyes. Tugging you close to him, he muttered, “Sleep, my love. I’ll wake you in the morning for more.”
“That wasn’t enough?”
He chuckled deeply, “Never.”

Horror Characters when you randomly lick them
Requested: No
Warnings: Like the tiniest TINIEST mention of spice in Walt’s and mentions of eyeball licking in Asa’s. These characters are done with your shit.
A/N: Author swears they are working on requests but the muse is fickle and ADD is making them hyperfixate a lot right now
Rufus Firefly
C H O M P. Straight up just takes your cute little teasing affection as permission to bite your shoulder hard as hell, breaking skin with his teeth and not letting up until he’s sure it’s deep enough to scar, no matter how much you cry and plead and wiggle in his lap. So yeah, be careful with your licks.
Tumblr media
Asa Emory
I’m pretty sure Asa would straight up just try to lick your eyeball to mess with you. He’s got a weird sense of humor and you licking him, no matter the intention, just raises up the urge to fuck with you mentally. Please do not lick this man unless you’re just as crazy as he is.
Tumblr media
Walt Deville
Another one that goes C H O M P, though usually he does give it a little foreplay, giving little nibbles and long licks to his area of choice (usually around either your thigh or hip) before C H O M P. Will not unleash you til he’s had his fill. But don’t worry, he’s sure to comfort you after the pain by burying his mouth between your legs.
Tumblr media
Amanda Young
At first she just looks at you with this look of utter disgust, will question you as to why the HELL you would just randomly lick her. Will probably be like the first few times you do it before eventually just accepting that this is how you are, even if you make her reconsider letting you live at times like these.
Tumblr media
Vincent Sinclair
???? Why. Just why. Mans is so confused by you and your goblin habits but at this point you’ve worn him down so much that the only real reaction you get is him staring you down before slowly turning back to his wax, occasionally whipping his head back to make sure you’re not gonna do that shit again.

Lovely Night - Walt Deville Imagine (The Invitation)
Tumblr media
Title: Lovely Night
Pairing: Walt Deville X Reader
Word Count: 945 words
Warning(s): none
Summary: (Y/n) spends their first night in the manor. Much to Walt's delight and (Y/n)'s nervousness.
Author's Note: There! I did it! Maybe my TikTok fyp will let me have peace now.
Is Walt out of character in this? Probably, but I wanted to write this so fuck it. (still haven't seen the film, be nice to me.)
Oh, and Happy Halloween!
-----------------------
The first thing being around Walt taught me was that when it came to fight-or-flight, my response was fight.
He had a tendency to walk silently. Unless there were other people reacting to seeing him, I would never know when he would just kind of pop up.
That's why when a pair of arms wrapped around me with no warning while I was looking out one of the windows in Walt's room, I flinched and tried to turn around immediately.
"Shh," I heard Walt chuckle in my ear. "It's just me."
I let out a sigh as I relaxed. I slapped his hand lightly, hearing him chuckle.
"You know that you can't just pop up around me," I muttered.
He chucked again, pressing a kiss to the skin behind my ear. He hummed against my skin. I closed my eyes a bit, trying to calm any remaining nerves.
"You're nervous," Walt noted.
"You just scared me."
"(Y/n)..."
I continued staring out the window. Of course, I was nervous. I hadn't stayed overnight in the manor before. It felt weird the more I thought about it, but it simply never felt necessary before he had offered.
I had been trying to maintain a calm, happy air throughout the whole night. Through dinner, I had done pretty well. But now... I wasn't sure if it was being in his room or the idea of lying next to him for the night that made me so anxious. Probably both.
I felt a kiss touch the curve of my jaw.
"What's going through your mind," he asked quietly.
"It's nothing," I reached one hand up and touched the hair on the back of his head. "It's silly."
"Silly or not, I don't like seeing you worried," he replied. "I just want to help."
"I... I'm just nervous about tonight," I confessed. "I know I have nothing to worry about. I trust you. But I cannot shake the feeling in my stomach."
There was a brief moment where my confession hung in the air. I couldn't tell if it weighed as heavily on him as it did on me. I was embarrassed.
Walt stepped back, his arms falling away from me. I turned around when he did.
I was about to ramble out some apology when he reached out to touch my side, pulling me closer to him. I almost stumbled into him.
"What are you doing, Walt," I asked, forcing a chuckle.
His other hand took mine. "Dancing."
"Right now... here?"
He nodded.
"Why?"
"Well, my love," he moved his hand from my side just long enough to guide my free hand to his shoulder, "you seem very relaxed when we've danced together. I'm hoping the same effect will apply here."
I smiled. "Thank you."
He grinned back to me. "Nothing to thank me for."
There was something funny about dancing around a room with no music. No beat to follow or anything to fill the silence. I found myself just laughing quietly as Walt guided us through the space in the middle of the room.
I felt like every moment with him, I fell for him a little more. I wondered if he experienced the same thing I was. If he was, he hid it well. Always so calm and relaxed. Meanwhile, I almost hyperventilated when he first kissed me.
And he accepted my nerves like they were no burden to him. What I did to deserve feeling like this, I would never know. I was just happy to feel this way.
Walt slowed our dance to a stop. He walked over to the bed, sitting on the edge and smiling at me. I smiled back, walking to join him.
I stopped in front of him, waiting for him to speak.
He didn't.
He reached out and carefully pulled me forward a few steps.
He brought my hand up to his lips, watching me as he kissed the palm to the tip of each finger to the back of my hand. I grinned, my free hand moving to run through his hair. He smiled before moving to kiss my wrist.
"Is there anything else I can do to help make you more comfortable, my love," he asked.
I couldn't form a response as he kissed my wrist again. He hummed to me, an almost cocky grin pulling at his lips.
"Lay with me," he said. Not a question. Just an instruction.
I nodded.
He stood up, suddenly chest to chest with me.
Walt always was this mix of strange and enchanting. I think he liked it that way. Always leave some form of curiosity. Something for outsiders to latch onto. To constantly need to figure out.
He led me around the side of the bed. He pulled the covers back for me, letting me move onto the mattress first. Once my head relaxed onto the pillow, he crawled into bed next to me.
His hand cupped my cheek, smile growing as he ran his thumb along my skin.
"How are you feeling, my love," he asked softly.
"Good," I replied quietly. "Tired, but good."
Walt leaned over and kissed me gently, moving over closer to me under the covers. I reached up to rest my hands over his. I smiled into the kiss. Completely comfortable, completely peaceful.
At the time, I didn't know all of Walt's secrets.
Looking back on it now, I don't think I would've cared. By that point, all I wanted was him, no matter the cost. It was all so simple in my mind. He was the center of my attention. He always had been.
And I think we both adored it that way.

Author's Note: Fun fact, there was a completely different plotline written, but I decided to scrap it because I was having trouble getting it to flow. I may write it if there's enough demand for it. It was a fun one, it was just taking a very long time.
Also, the spelling of this man's last name is gonna be the death of me.

Tulips 🌷Walter Deville x Fem!Reader-The Invitation
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
Summary: You go about your day each week, doing the things in which you enjoy (garden work outside in the garden you own in the cottage house you have) and even taking care of the mini farm in which you have that’s located across your cottage home) when one day, he sees you from a little bit away, he can’t take his eyes off you, that’s when he becomes your new secret admirer. He (aka Walter Deville) starts leaving little gifts for you in your garden that you take note of and one day, the time you and Walter meet brings a few surprises that you certainly didn’t expect in your life.
(A/N: This was originally going to be writen as a Female OC character paired with Walter story, but I changed my mind and thought writing it as y/n reader paired with Walter looked better. Y/N is the main female lead in this.
Also, there's a lot of use of the words "darling" and "my love" included in this. Mini warning as it gets a little intense towards the middle, but nothing spicy or violent happens.
This is similar to @bi-bard 's work on here. After reading her's, I got inspired to write my own version, or something similar. I love the one she wrote!
By no means, is this a remake or copy of her's. The one I wrote is inspired by the one she wrote.
I aplogize if there are any grammar or spelling mistakes in this.
I hope you all enjoy <3)
🌷
It was always bright and sunny. No rain or cloud ever filled the sky, and when it did it was still peaceful to say the least. Each day of every week was pretty much the same. I would go to school, theatre school that is, then to work, and finally back home to my lovely cottage home. With everyday being beautiful outdoors, I took the opportunity to continue my garden work, which I became very passionate about.
My garden was filled with mainly flowers. From sunflowers to roses that perfectly lined up in a delicate row as one all around the garden.
A few steps away from my garden was my mini farm that did in fact have a couple animals living in it. A golden baby chick that was always waddling around, one pretty pink piglet, and a goose with fur white as snow.
Those animals were almost like my children. I adored taking care of them. That is exactly what I did every day when I came home from a busy day out each week.
🌷
It was a new week when I had come back home from being at school and then work. I stepped outside to water the flowers in the garden when I began to feel as though I was being watched.
“I’m feeling someone’s presence, but there’s literally no one around me” I thought to myself, furrowing my eyebrows as I quickly glanced all around and behind me and even straight ahead, outside the wooden gate that separated my home from the other half, that lead to the hills and empty fields that lead to more beautiful emptiness in the cottage atmosphere in which I was in.
Not thinking much of it, I shook it off, shaking my head briefly and then returned to my garden work and then headed over to my farm to greet my lovely animal friends.
Unbeknownst to me, as I was walking to the farm, that’s when the same presence recurred again. A little ways away from the farm and my house, there he was. Kneeling down and hiding behind a tree that was next to the cobblestone filled pathway that anyone could walk on, passing through the neighborhood.
He studied my every move from when I glided out of my garden and over to my farm and then walked into it. I had no clue there was a person there.
The person who hid behind the tree liked what he was seeing and wanted to get to know me, but he didn’t exactly know how to make the move and strike up a conversation with me. A sudden idea came to his mind and quickly disappeared to wherever he lived, knowing just what to do to get my attention, hopefully.
🌷
The next day rolled around and as soon as I got home and into my garden, I noticed something that wasn’t there before. Moving closer to it, I raised my eyebrow from curiosity when I saw a small golden key that looked like it could open a door, with a few tulips attached to it. I gently picked up the key and tulips and examined it for a few minutes in my hands.
“Why is there a key with tulips attached to it? This is difficult to understand" I asked myself.
Shrugging it off again, I walked back inside to my cottage home where I gently unwrapped the tulips from the key and placed them in a vase filled with water, letting them grow and show off their beauty in the inside of my home.
"Wow, that actually is really pretty." I thought to myself as I examined the tulips in the vase that was sitting atop my dining room table.
The day was finished and soon another began. I opened my door and glanced down and saw a small pile of tulips waiting for me to take them in.
I widened my eyes and covered my mouth with my hand as I quickly knelt down to pick up the flowers.
"What is happening here? This is starting to become creepy." I whispered to myself as I glanced down at the flowers quickly before looking around to see if someone nearby would confess that they sent the flowers.
No one was around. Great!
Quickly, I put the new set of flowers in the same vase with the first three and then headed to school and work for the day.
"It could be a quick mistake that the mailman made. Mix Ups in delivery are a common mistake that are easily fixable. Yes! That's gotta be it" I thought to myself while being at school.
This mysterious tulip situation was all that I could think about and focus on.
Nothing else. This was becoming an overwhelming distraction that I needed to stop thinking about.
I had to either find out who's behind this or put an end to it soon.
Hopefully the mysterious person would confess sooner rather than later.
🌷
It was when I got home for the night when I noticed yet another thing that caught my eye right on the steps of my home.
Reaching my front steps, I knelt down and picked up this letter and with it were more tulips. Of course.
Furrowing my eyebrows in slight confusion as I began to read and try to understand the letter in which it read the following, "Greetings Y/N, you are cordially invited to the New Carfax Abbey manor to meet Walter Deville, the lord of the manor. He has taken an interest in meeting you. If you accept, the meeting is scheduled for tomorrow. Transportation will be provided. Best wishes.
P.s. bring the gold key"
I shook my head in slight disbelief. How was all of this happening so fast? I felt a sudden thrill because I knew I would soon find out and meet the one who sent the tulips. Whoever this Walter person is.
I couldn't help but giggle when the letter mentioned bringing the key, "I was wondering what the key was about."
I went inside and then proceeded to do my fun hobbies outdoors and took care of my animal friends.
🌷
The day in which I had been waiting for had arrived. I looked out my window, pacing back and forth, kind of impatiently as I waited for my source of transportation. Whatever vehicle it would be.
Holding the gold key in my hands, a sudden knock on my front door was heard. I gasped softly and quickly scurried to the door and opened it and saw an older man standing a few feet away from my door.
"Are you miss Y/N, L/N?" The older man asked in a neutral, calm tone of voice and emotion.
"Yes, that is me, in the flesh. Are you Walter Deville?" I questioned quickly as the older man shook his head briefly.
"No. I'm the butler of the manor. You can call me Mr. Field. I've worked with Walter for many years." Mr. Field introduced briefly.
I nodded slightly.
"Come along now. Walter is expecting your arrival and wouldn't want to keep him waiting too much longer." Waved Mr.Field as he turned around and walked back to the black old fashioned Cadillac.
I quickly locked up my home and then followed suit to the car, thanking Mr. Field as he held open the car door for me as I got in.
Moments later, the drive to the manor began. My eyes loved and enjoyed the outdoor sights as we got closer to the manor. My heart beamed with excitement as we passed a few flower gardens that stood out in the green grassy open fields.
I got so wrapped up in the excitement of the flowers that I didn't realize we had arrived at the manor. Mr. Field helped escort me out of the car and seconds later, I found myself in awe while looking up at the manor that I stood before.
"Wow. This place is incredible" I whispered to myself, while admiring its beauty and mysteriousness for as much as I could before my thoughts of admiration were interrupted.
"Miss Y/N, I introduce to you the lord of the manor, Walter Deville." Announced Mr. Field as he motioned an arm to the man who walked down the steps and over to me with smooth, delicate, and quick steps who just so happened to be Walter Deville himself.
Walter was definitely not who I expected, but it was a pleasant surprise to say the least. "Thank you, Mr. Field for the introduction. I'll take it from here." Walter kindly said to Mr. Field as he quickly nodded his head and bowed and scurried away, leaving it to just be Walter and I.
"You must be Y/N? It's an honor to finally meet you" Said Walter as he smiled brightly. I smiled back, trying not to blush.
"That's me. It's nice to meet you too, Walter"
"Oh, please you can call me Walt, dear" Walt winked and smiled more. I widened my eyes and nodded. "Oh, why of course. It's nice to meet you, Walt"
Him and I smiled at each other for a few seconds more, the blush and heat growing on my face more and more. Walt then held out his arm and motioned for me to take his arm in mine, "Come along, dear. I think it's appropriate to show you a tour of the manor. I think you'll love it"
I smiled and wrapped my arm into his and followed his lead as we made it into the manor. The manor was even more breathtaking on the inside as well on the outside. Classic works of art or paintings that looked like art were displayed perfectly all throughout the manor.
Followed by this was a large beautiful cobblestone grand staircase that I found myself barely having time to really admire as I found Walt guiding me up the staircase and through a pathway that led to different rooms.
Walt showed me every room possible, from the kitchen to the grand library, which I thought was incredible.
As we were walking through the large open hallways, Walt glanced down at me and smiled softly, "I would be honored if you told me about yourself."
Glancing up at him, I smiled too and then gently shook my head, leaning it forward just a bit, "Oh okay. Uhmm, what would you like to know?"
"Anything. What do you enjoy doing for fun? Hobbies of any sort?" Walt replied, wiggling his eyebrows slightly as he continued to look at me.
I giggled and blushed, looking away from him briefly to relax my face. "Well, I enjoy performing, you know acting in plays, becoming characters that you normally would never be in reality." I firstly mentioned, looking back over at Walt as he remained quiet but was eager for me to continue talking.
"I guess I've always had a strong passion for performing ever since I was younger and being in my first play in school, Really helped set that goal for me. I should also mention that being outdoors, gardening in particular. I've always enjoyed planting flowers ever since I was child. It's another passion of mine if you will" I smiled more as I finished my long answer about myself.
Walt smiled as he nodded his head, showing me that he was listening. "Lovely answers, darling. It's refreshing to see those passions within you. Speaking of gardens, if you look out this window you'll see the manor garden out there. Please feel free to use it any time you wish."
My smile grew and grew as the excitement in me increased. I was becoming more and more speechless.
"I can assure you that there are plenty of tulips in the garden waiting for you, darling" Said Walt, with another charming wink my way.
I widened my eyes and gasped softly after putting the pieces of the days and even weeks before together. With the mysterious gold key to the tulips always showing up at my house.
Walt was the one who sent them.
"H-how did you know? Wait, you were the one who sent them? You sent the tulips, didn't you?" I asked, raising my eyebrow slightly.
Walt chuckled once more and nodded, "You are absolutely right, darling. I did send you those things."
"I honestly never would have guessed. But why did you send them, Walt?" I asked softly as I gently crossed my arms in a neutral way, staring back at Walt.
"I happened to be in your neighborhood and let's just say that you caught my eye but I didn't know how to talk to you before that, so sending the tulips was my way of communicating. I knew you'd like them. Any flower really. You can say that I was your secret admirer" Said Walt, smiling even more brightly than before.
How was any of the things I'm hearing coming out of his mouth possible? My mind couldn't comprehend the fact that I did in fact have a first secret admirer. Growing up, that was something I struggled with not having. I wasn't the type that people crushed on or liked me back if I felt that way towards them.
Learning to accept that fact was indeed a hard pill to swallow, but over time, I got used to it. Knowing that Walt (maybe) had a crush on me, sent shock waves all through my body of adrenaline.
🌷
On the next (last) stop in our tour, I found myself raising my eyebrow in slight confusion as Walt and I stood in front of a door in which I had no clue as to what was behind it.
Walt turned around and glanced at me for a second, taking both my hands into his, "May I have the key please, darling?" He kindly asked while pursing his lips slightly that fell into a smirk.
Getting lost in his beautiful and mysterious expressions and features, I nodded quickly while stumbling out for words. I removed one of my hands from his briefly to retrieve the key that was in my pocket.
After handing it to him, he let go of my hand to turn and face the door as he inserted the key into the door in which it just so happened to unlock the room.
Brilliant.
Walt quickly glanced at me once more while unlocking the door, smirking that instantly caused me to blush. I giggled and my eyes fell to the ground for a moment, then back up when Walt held the door open for me, leading me inside.
The room was pitch black for a few moments, which caused me to furrow my eyebrows and my heart rate to increase slightly because I could'nt see a thing, that's how dark it was, "What is this place, Walt?" I asked out loud, hoping Walt would respond.
"You'll see, darling." Walt replied with a small giggle. A faint whooshing noise was heard and suddenly there was light in the entire room which revealed what the room was.
Seeing the audience chairs and large stage took my breath away. I knew exactly where we were, what this room was as I instantly loved it. I couldn't help but smile.
"Do you like it?" Walt asked softly, smiling at me. I quickly nodded and continued to smile back at him.
"Yes. Yes I do. It's magnificent. You have an auditorium fit for performers like me and fit for hosting performances in your mansion"
Walt chuckled at my reaction, "I had a strong feeling you might be pleased with it. You are always more than welcome to use it anytime, darling"
I smiled at the sound of that. A silence was heard for a few brief moments, until I heard Walt begin to speak again.
"What drew you to performing?"
I looked up at him and smiled, as my mind raced quickly to think of an answer that wouldn't sound boring or repetitive to him. "Oh uhmm, I guess ever since being in grade school and taking the drama classes there and being in the drama club really sparked my interest. Being on that stage alongside my friends as we pretended to be characters that we're usually not was a lot of fun for me." I said softly while smiling, my heart began to race, hoping that I didn't say too much to Walt.
He smiled and nodded his head while still looking at me, "Good answer. I think it brought a lot of happiness to your friends that you feel that way."
I nodded too while chuckling. "You're too kind. I really appreciate that, Walt."
"This auditorium, along with the garden is yours, darling. Everything in the manor here is yours. I hope I'll someday get to see you perform." Stated Walt as he playfully smirked again, causing me to blush uncontrollably.
"Perhaps you could even teach me how to perform." Walt suggested, which made me furrow my eyebrows in a playful way as a giggle escaped my lips.
"You really want acting lessons from me? I mean, I could give it a try,but I'm not an acting coach" I giggled playfully while clasping my hands together while looking at Walt.
"You and I just met, taking lessons from a complete stranger isn't ideal. Besides I don't think I'm very good at performing anyway" I admitted, slowly turning my head away from him for a second.
Walt shook his head in disagreement, "I don't think that's true. Give it time, I'm sure you'll feel like you and I have known each other a lot longer. You shouldn't doubt yourself on something you're passionate about. Please for me?" Walt said with softness in his voice.
I turned back to face him and blushed after hearing everything he just told me. I had no idea what to say. I glanced down at the floor for a moment, then back at Walt.
"I think that can be arranged, Walt. But I am curious though, why do you have this beautifully built performing auditorium if you don't use it?" I asked curiously. Walt pursed his lips playfully again.
"If you can believe this, when I was child, I too was a big fan of the arts. That goes for all art forms like painting, pottery, musical, and theatre. There was one instance where I found myself standing on a stage alone like this one here," Walt motioned over to the stage that was a few steps away from us.
"There was no crowd but seeing the empty chairs and imagining what an actual crowd of people would be like for me made me fascinated in that art form. Unfortunately, I knew I wasn't good at performing, my skills weren't there. I know yours are though, that's why I want you to teach me, darling" Said Walt, as he gently grabbed hold of my hands and led me to the middle of the stage, where he and I leaned against, standing next to one another.
Hearing everything that Walt said made my heart flutter. I think I was starting to fall more for Walt. I hope he will be there to catch me when I make my final leap.
"All of what you said is extremely heartwarming, Walt. I want to teach you, but we still literally met today. Wouldn't you want to get to know me for a bit longer? You know, for a few more days at least?" I asked while fiddling with my fingers as Walt chuckled softly.
"Within these few hours of spending with you has made me already feel like we both know each other. Can't you feel the connection, darling?" He asked in a soft tone while slowly leaning towards me.
I could start to feel my face start to burn from blush when he got closer to me. All I could do was nod my head, my mind was spinning. What was Walt doing? Was what I thought going to happen next?
"Y-yes I think I'm starting to feel it, Walt. I think I've come to the conclusion that you're really great." I smiled as my eyes glanced down at the ground for a second. My eyes picked back up when I felt Walt's hands gently on top of my cheeks, causing me to blush once more.
"I also think you're really great too, darling." Walt softly replied as his hands gently caressed my face, his thumb gently rubbed against one part of my face, causing my heart to beat extremely fast.
Walt kept leaning forward, the tips of our noses touched as his lips were centimeters away from mine. "May I kiss you, darling?" He asked softly. I nodded my head and felt my heart want to leap out of my chest.
"Yes" I quickly whispered. Walt closed his eyes and gently pressed his lips to mine, kissing me which I had never ever experienced before. I wanted this magical feeling to last for as long as possible. This wasn't what I expected to feel as my first kiss, but it was one that I was head over heels for, instantly loving it, trying to hold onto the feeling forever.
As the kiss deepened, Walt had gently rested his hand atop of my arm when I felt what felt like him poking and pinching my arm and the skin around it. I gently pulled away from the kiss and gasped softly after feeling the pinching.
"Hey? What was that for?" I hissed while grabbing hold of my upper arm and then furrowed my eyebrows up at Walt.
"I am so sorry, my love. I didn't mean to do that on purpose. I guess I got too ahead of myself there." He admitted with a slight chuckle. His hands were holding mine briefly.
Taking one of his hands, I lifted it up and examined it as my eyes widened when I saw and studied these bright red monster-like claws that took over his human fingernails. What was going on here?
I furrowed my eyebrows once more up at Walt as I still held his hand, "W-what are these, Walt?"
Walt took a deep breath as he looked straight into my eyes, "Now, my love please believe me when I say it's nothing to worry about. Not even to be afraid of either. I can reassure you that I will never use them to hurt you in any way." His hand is still holding mine.
I tried slowly backing out of his grasp but he didn't budge. Acknowledging my attempt to escape, Walt remained calm as his thumb rubbed against the top of my wrist, hoping that would calm me down.
Of course it did.
🌷
I would have fought more but I had no idea what Walt was capable of and I really didn't want to get on his bad side. Taking a few deep breaths as I relaxed in his touch. My mind began to spin again. I had no idea what to think of it all.
My body was filling up with both fear and adrenaline, like heavy waves of water crashing along the shore rapidly.
"Are you afraid, my love?" Walt asked quietly. I glanced up at him while shaking my head, "I'm not afraid. Of course not."
Walt gently let go of my hand, which allowed me to pull back and hold on it with my other hand, near my chest.
"Y/n" Walt began with a calm but stern tone while walking to the other side of me and the stage.
"I can sense a little bit of fear in you. You don't have anything to fear, I am not going to hurt you. You are going to be just fine with me, under my protection, darling."
There was a slight pause, I was still trying to understand it all. Nothing was ringing any familiar bell in my brain. Walt and I locked eyes with one another, "What are you?" I asked in a soft whisper.
Walt leaned towards me for a moment while smirking, and that's when I could feel the heat grow on my face just a little bit again, the same as before the secrets were revealed.
"Why don't I just show you, darling." Walt quickly replied and smirked a little bit more for a moment, which then turned into him opening his mouth, revealing and showing his two pointed and sharp vampire fangs.
The heat on my face grew when my eyes saw his fangs. I covered my mouth with my hand for a brief moment.
"Y-you're a vampire?" I asked in a soft tone. Walt smirked again while closing his mouth and nodded.
My whole life I've always been fascinated with the concept of vampires. But that was always in stories and films. I was told that vampires don't exist.
Man, was I wrong! But I think it's horrifyingly cool in reality.
🌷
"My love, you're a part of the family now. I strongly believe that one day, very soon, you'll be a vampire like me, too." Asserted Walt as he gently held my hands once more. I widened my eyes and was taken back by the powerful statement he said.
"I'm sorry what? Me, be a vampire like you?" I questioned, furrowing my eyebrows up at Walt as he simply nodded at me once more.
I shook my head in disapproval, "I think this is all amazing and breathtaking, Walt but I don't think I have what it takes to be a vampire. I'm so sorry." I pulled my hands away from him and began to walk towards the auditorium doors. Walt stood where he was, watching me walk away with slight worry in his eyes.
I only made it inches away from fully exiting when I was stopped right in front of Mr. Field. "Oh, hi again Mr. Field. Would it be alright if you took me home now?" I asked, hoping he would follow through.
Mr. Field shook his head, "Apologizes Miss Y/n, but I am unable to do that request."
I closed my eyes and brought my hands to my chest, fighting back and holding back my tears that I felt forming in my eyes. I slowly turned back around to see Walt, but he was gone.
I didn't hear or see him leave. This was confusing. Furrowing my eyebrows at the empty spot in which Walt stood once before, I quickly turned my head and body back towards the door, attempting to leave the auditorium when I gasped loudly.
"My love, please don't leave. This is your home now. I promise you my full protection. You are completely safe with me. I will not hurt you." Walt softly assured me as he magically appeared right in front of me, resting his hands on my arms that were held in front of me, fighting to not get too close to him.
"Please just listen to me. Please, darling" Walt cried out, getting me to stop and stand still, taking deep breaths as I looked into his eyes. He rested his hand atop of my shoulder.
"What about my home? My school and work? I have a family who I care about very much. I need to go back to them sometime soon" I questioned softly. My heart and mind burned while awaiting his response.
"Your family can visit you anytime. You don't have to say goodbye to them, darling. You don't have to say goodbye to that life. Everything will remain the same." Said Walt, reassuring me again. He began rubbing my shoulder with his thumb briefly.
🌷
I closed my eyes once more and felt a few tears start to fall down my cheeks. I was totally overwhelmed by everything I was being told. I wanted to go through it, but I was terrified of the whole transformation process.
"Hey, hey, hey. Y/n, it's okay. You're safe with me." Walt softly spoke against my ear and planted a kiss on my cheek.
His kiss on my cheek began to sooth my scared emotions down. I blushed as his lips remained on my cheek for a few brief moments, "I am being totally truthful and honest with you, my love. Please believe me. I wanted to tell you right away, instead of keeping it a secret and having you find out on your own." Walt admitted as he kissed my cheek once more before gently holding my chin with the tips of his fingers.
I continued to take deep breaths and nodded my head. I guess this is a childhood dream come true for me. Meeting a real vampire, falling in love with him, and becoming a vampire myself has always fascinated me.
What? It's true! Haha
All in all, I don't care about the secrets of what Walt is and what lies within the manor. All I truly care about is Walt and being with him everyday, and being under his wing.
I glanced up and into Walt's eyes as he looked into mine, a small smile began to show upon my face, "Walt. I thought about it and I changed my mind. I think being alongside you and being a vampire is okay to me. It's not so bad anymore. I'll stay, I promise."
Walt smiled brightly after hearing what I told him, "Yes? You will? That's wonderful, love. Thank you!" He pulled me in for a warm hug as I hugged him back, resting my head on his shoulder and blushed when I felt his lips kiss my neck gently.
From this happy and romantic time, Walt politely waved Mr. Field off, allowing him to leave and go about his business. He did just that, bowing before Walt and I and then exiting out of the auditorium.
"You are in complete and safe hands with me, like I previously mentioned. Oh and welcome home, my love." Said Walt as he winked my way, causing me to blush again. He then magically held out a tulip that he held behind his back and handed it to me.
I smiled and giggled softly as I took the tulip from him and thanked him for it by giving him a kiss on his cheek.
I swear I saw a tint of blush appear on his face that made my heart flutter with excitement. Oh what a thrilling time to be alive!
-the end!
I hope you all enjoyed my very first Walter 'Walt' Deville fanfic! It was tons of fun to write. There will be more of Walt to come from me soon, I promise! <3

The Flower and The Serpent : a Walt De Ville x reader FF : one
Tumblr media
You were with your friends when the time came, unbidden, to say goodbye. You had known it was on its way, this day in particular, but it still managed to creep up on you, as did the older man dressed in old fashioned butler clothing. The first notions you had of his presence were the hairs standing up on your arms and nape of your neck, and the sudden silence of your friends, where before there had been nothing but lively chatter.
“Miss Alexander” the man said politely, giving you a brief bow. “I apologise for the interruption.”
You glanced around at the worried faces and tried to smile reassuringly.
“Hello, Mr. Field” you replied, pushing your chair back with a concrete scrape and standing to your feet. “Is that the time already?”
He nodded and gestured to the black Cadillac idling by the curb.
“I’m afraid so, Miss” he answered you. “Best say your goodbyes.”
You turned around and looked down at your oldest friends, wishing you could explain to them where you were going and why, but knew that you never could. They wouldn’t believe you anyway. You had navigated primary school and beyond together, had nursed broken hearts, graduated high school and university together, but if they heard what you might say, they’d pack you off to the nearest asylum.
“I’ve got to go” you announced, and slowly made your way around the cafe table, hugging each of them for as long as you thought you could.
“But where? Why? Who is that man?” one of them asked, eyebrows drawn together in concern.
You kissed her cheek and shook your head.
“Don’t worry” you said. “He’s an old family friend. It’s time for me to go home, that’s all.”
A flurry of questions swept after you, swirling in the air inside the car with you as you slid across the backseat and Mr. Field closed the door after you. You gazed out the window at your friends as you were driven away, trying to memorise each precious face before they were out of sight and you’d never see them again.
“Happy birthday, Miss” Mr. Field said quietly from the front.
You smiled faintly and nodded.
“Thank you” you murmured. “I know the master is looking forward to celebrating with you tonight.”
You raised your eyebrows.
“He is?”
“Oh, yes, Miss. He is quite eager to take your hand. He has planned a ball in your honour. Twenty five is quite an age.”
You scoffed quietly, but you were smiling all the same.
“Not for him” you replied. “Twenty five means nothing to him anymore.”
“But it means something for you, Miss, and he does know that. He appreciates your sacrifice.”
You nodded and rested your head on the window as the town rushed by, blending into green and gold on either side as you were drawn closer and closer to New Carfax Abbey.
When you arrived, the lord of the manor was waiting at the end of the driveway, near the house, his hands clasped behind his back. You couldn’t help staring through the window at him; he was even more handsome than you remembered from your previous birthday. There had been a time when you saw him several times a year, but after you turned eighteen, they dwindled to only on your birthday.
“Are the others here?” you asked Mr. Field, lifting your gaze to the upper windows.
The butler glanced at you in the rear view mirror.
“The ladies Viktoria and Lucy are almost always around the manor, but they will leave you be” he assured you. “Mr. De Ville has given them strict instructions not to touch a hair on your head, Miss. Though Lucy has always been possessed of a kinder disposition than Viktoria.”
You nodded and opened your door, swinging one foot out and then the other. You had only the clothes on your back, but you knew that there would be more provided for you; Walter De Ville had been lavishing you with gifts since you were thirteen years old, and you doubted it would stop now that you were less than a month away from marrying him into the dark.
The lord of the manor started to walk towards you, and when Mr. Field hurried to introduce you officially, he waved him away.
“There’s no need for that, thank you, Mr. Field” he murmured, eyeing you closely. “I know exactly who Miss Alexander is, I do not need an introduction.”
Mr. Field nodded, but he continued to hover, so Walt turned back to him, eyebrows arched slightly.
“I can escort her to her room. Thank you” he said briefly.
“Very good, sir” Mr. Field said, giving him a shallow bow. “More clothes will arrive for you tomorrow, Miss.”
“Thank you.”
“Meanwhile...” Walt said quietly. “There are enough pretty nightclothes to fill up your wardrobe and then some, darling.”
You felt your face flush with warmth.
“Thank you, sir” you said politely.
His dark eyebrows shot up.
“You can call me Walt” he told you. “’Sir’ was my father.”
You nodded and he tipped his head in the direction of his home, reaching around you to press one hand into the small of your back.
“Let me show you to your room” he said. “It’s right at the top, just below the attic. I hope you’re not afraid of heights.”
You shrugged and let him guide you inside the mansion, acutely aware of the press of his fingers as they never left your back.
You hadn’t visited the manor for nearly a decade, and there were new works of art placed carefully around the entry hall and throughout the house as Walt led you upstairs two flights and along another corridor until he reached an open bedroom and ushered you along in front of him. He smiled as your eyes widened and lips parted a little at the sight of the four poster bed, lush with velvet hangings, and the massive gilt mirror that sat above the duchess, makeup and brushes already placed upon it, ready for your use should you want them.
Buttery curtains fluttered in front of the windows and the plush carpet sank under your high tops as you walked across it.
“Wow” you said softly, throwing your head back to gaze up at the lofty ceiling.
“I could say the same thing” Walt murmured, watching you.
He moved past you and swung open the doors of the wardrobe, revealing an impressive row of women’s intimates, all in your size you realised as you ran your fingers along the fabrics, smooth, soft, silky, lacy, plain cotton.
“How did you know -?” you asked, voice dying in your throat as you turned to find Walt suddenly right up behind you, your nose bumping his chest before you righted yourself.
He smiled again, something a little wanting in his light eyes.
“I know everything” he said, his voice soft and low in your ear. “I’ve been around a long time, Miss Alexander. Besides all that, your father gave me your sizes and I made sure these were perfect. Do you like them?”
You turned around again and stroked your fingertips down the delicate edge of a white almost sheer baby-doll nightie, tiny pink flowers stitched all over it. Walt found his gaze being drawn to your fingertips, to the ruby red polish on your nails, almost the colour of blood.
“This one is beautiful” you told him, glancing over your shoulder to see his face.
He nodded, making a mental note of it.
“I’ll have more made for you” he replied.
“Why? You already gave me one” you said, puzzled.
His lips quirked at the corners to form a faint smirk, one that turned your knees to liquid.
“Because you never know how long it’ll last” he murmured, eyes trailing hotly up and down your body.
You shivered and he stepped back, content to leave you like that, already following him with your gaze, your body leaning after him before you could stop it.
Walt stopped at the door and turned back to face you, arms spread to brace against either side of the doorway.
“There is a dress waiting for you on the bed, for the ball tonight” he said. “And happy birthday, darling. It very well might be your last.”
He winked and disappeared. You forced your unsteady legs to work and made it over to the bed to stare down at the masterpiece laid out before you, a dress designed for a princess. You wondered what the wedding gown would be like.
You sat down with a sigh and gingerly touched the dress, running your fingertips over the pearl laden bodice and the pale green skirt that flowed out beneath it. It was the loveliest thing you had ever owned.
Walt De Ville. A man of ancient times and insatiable whim. A man soon to be your husband.

a random headcanon i have about walt de ville is that he would literally be the most needy partner ever. you want him to do something? he’ll do it before you can finish asking. you want to be around him all hours of the day? no worries because he feels the same way. in fact i feel like he would be the type of partner that would literally hate whenever you leave or go out of town because he can’t stop thinking about u.

Ok, so.
I had the pleasure of seeing The Invitation (2022) about a week ago and since then a certain Mr. De Ville has been living in my head rent free. I’ve since seen the movie... two more times? And I’m honestly surprised there isn’t more content on this hellsite about it.
i just gotta talk about this for a moment:
SPOILERS and some ranting below the cut!
To me, the first 1 hour and 7 minutes of the movie was by far the best part of the entire thing. (That’s right before the ‘twist’ is revealed btw.) I’ve always been a sucker for vampire romance novels and knowing that the movie was- y’know, about falling in love with a vampire, was what left my monster-fucker lovin’ ass giddy and smiling in eagerness.
There was SO MUCH potential to be had before the big reveal. Specifically the scene after Evie’s nightmare where Walt arrives and stays with her until she falls asleep. He says this:
"i just...I just want to share all this, i want to enjoy this with. I'm tired of the facade, constantly keeping up appearances. Yes it's a grand life, but... It's isolating.
I want someone to see me for who i truly am. Doesn't try to change me into an idea, or a concept. An itch they need to scratch. Someone that accepts me. "
LIKE??? They drop this seriously sweet moment on us and honestly it makes me go feral. I know Walt ends up (spoiler!) being ‘Dracula’ and vampires = bad in this movie and all but gosh. He honestly deserved better by the end. If all of what he said was true even he deserves a break and someone who will love him for who he is.
Which is where fanfics and reader inserts come in! And my heart goes out to every single person in this tiny fandom who’s written something for it. I’ve thought about writing for Walt x Reader myself but I haven’t gotten that far yet. xD
tl:dr, He may not have found true love in the movie, but he’s found it in all of our hearts.
PS: there’s an alt ending if you didn’t know. (:

Imagine Walt creating a library for you in the mansion
"Walt, where are you even taking me?" You say with a laugh as you carefully followed his lead. With his eyes covering your eyes, you were clueless as to where he was taking you. You knew that you were both still in the De Ville estate because you had not gotten into the car and because you could hear Mr. Field giving some of the other house staff their instructions for the day. But that knowledge only made you feel more curious about the surprise Walt prepared for you. You had been with Walt for hundreds of years and with that much time to explore the De Ville estate, you practically had every nook and cranny of the mansion memorized.
You could hear Walt chuckle from behind you. "It wouldn't be much of a surprise if I told you now, would it?" He continued leading you through the estate, taking a series of twists and turns until he finally came to a stop.
Uncovering your eyes, you were met with the sight of a door. Giving him a confused look, he only gestured for you to open the door. Stepping forward and taking the door's handle into your hand, you pushed it down and pushed the door open. Stepping inside, you were amazed to find a library inside. The once one-floor room had been made into two as floor-to-ceiling bookshelves covered the walls, each shelve filled to the brim with books. A spiral staircase could be found in the corner of the room and a rolling ladder connected the bookshelf to each other. From your place, you could see how each wall on both floors had its own rolling ladder. Nearing the closest bookshelf to you, your fingers brushed the spines of the books and you quietly read the titles. They were all books you had read before and loved that you had talked to Walt about along with some unfamiliar ones that piqued your interest.
"Walt, this is amazing! I love it!" Rushing toward him, you wrapped your arms around him and hugged him which he wasted no time in returning. "How were you able to do this without me finding out?"
"Well, I got lucky that you don't really go into this wing of the estate. Made pulling this whole thing together easier. Now you finally have a place to store and read all your books in." He pressed a kiss to your forehead. "Only the best for my wife."

Eternity (Walter DeVille | The Invitation)
Summary — Walt’s jealousy shines through.
Warnings & Other Tags ➳ There’s something about this man that really makes me want to write smut; mentions of vampirism (including biting, blood, etc.); mentions of jealousy; cursing; Google Translate is a gem (Latin... because, well, vampires).
Notes ➳ Word Count is 2,558. ➳ Reader uses feminine pronouns (she/her). ➳ Translations for Latin words and phrases are at the end of this work. ➳ Special thanks to Yoshino for brainstorming this idea with me. You’re one in a million!

His gaze burned into you, dark and brooding.
Walt’s lips were drawn into a line, sealed closed in an effort to hide his annoyance. He tightly clutched the champagne glass in his hand. Next to him, Viktoria cast amused glances between the two of you with a smirk. Lucy, however, was entertaining guests, far too busy to notice the tension.
“He’s quite handsome,” mocked Viktoria, ignoring the way Walt’s sharp glare snapped to her.
“Must you make me angrier than I already am?”
Viktoria chuckled in response to his question. Other than that, she remained silent, nursing her own drink as she went to join Lucy. If he wanted to wallow in misery, then she would let him.
Walt’s eyes returned to you. The man standing before you was some tall, aristocratic stranger. With blond hair and a perfectly fitted suit, the man had been brought along by the Billingtons. And while Walt hadn’t even spoken to him all evening, he hated him.
He watched as the man brought a smile to your face with what Walt assumed to be foolish jokes. The distance between the two of you was miniscule. Tugging at the thin strap of your dress, you meet Walt’s gaze over your shoulder.
Walt could feel heat rising within himself as a smirk made its way onto your lips. He shook his head at you with narrowed eyes, but that only made your grin widen. You gave your husband a once-over before returning your attention to the stranger.
Walt had never been good at hiding his jealousy. You, meanwhile, had always been the wife who enjoyed testing his patience the most. You knew what you were doing to him.
And as his champagne glass developed a small crack within his tight grip, Walt decided it was time to adjust that arrogant façade of yours.
He put the glass aside, shoved a hand deep into his pocket, and moved in your direction. His other hand corrected his tie before trailing along your back, drawing your focus to him just as his palm came to rest upon your shoulder.
“I need your help with something, my love,” he said, fully ignoring the unknown man. “Come with me?”
He tightly squeezed your shoulder. Although he had a smile on his face, his eyes were dark and his jaw was clenched. You furrowed your eyebrows, trying your best to feign innocence with a tilt of the head. You quickly bid the Billingtons’ guest goodbye and allowed yourself to be led away.
The cool breeze of night wasn’t the only thing that sent shivers along your spine. Rounding a corner, you gasped as Walt shoved you against the manor’s stone wall.
“Foeda meretrix!” he sneered, towering over you with sinister intent. “You think you can fool me with your tricks?”
To a stranger, the situation might have appeared concerning. The lord of the manor pinning his lover against a wall, hidden deep within the shadows, with an angry expression on his face. To you, however, your position was anything but.
“It seems that I already have,” you shrugged. “You’re here, aren’t you? Or should I return to my previous company? He was so entertaining.”
Walt paused. His eyes narrowed at your carefree attitude, irritated by the sly grin that spread across your lips. In a flash, his fangs were bared and his chest was pressed flush against your own.
He breathed deeply, taking in your scent as his nose traced over your skin. You bit your lip and closed your eyes when he released a low groan. His hands were pressed against the wall, leaving your body trapped in his embrace.
“Entertainment? Is that all he provided?” he chuckled.
One of his hands placed itself beneath your jaw and slowly tilted your head to the side. He then began trailing kisses along your exposed neck, allowing you to feel the scrape of his threatening fangs.
“Think of what I have given you.”
His other hand trailed along the wall. You couldn’t stop a quiet gasp from escaping you when it wrapped around your body. Walt grinned through his kisses as he pulled you closer to him. Your hands wrapped themselves around him as well, one of them weaving itself into his dark hair and tugging harshly.
“And what’s that?”
He paused again. The smile on his lips was evident in his tone as he whispered, “Aeternum.”
“You can speak your dead language all you want,” you huffed, nearly rolling your eyes as he continued applying kisses to your skin. “I still have no idea what you’re saying.”
“Eternity,” he cooed, translating so that you could understand. “It will be you and me.”
Your mouth fell open and your grip dug into his clothing. The feeling of blood cascading along your neck took you by surprise. Walt usually wouldn’t bite you so soon in moments like this. You loved to watch him become desperate.
His hips grinded against your own, allowing you to feel the way his pants strained around him. You quickly got to work on freeing him from his layers. Your back arched as he continued indulging himself on your blood, both of his hands pulling you as close as possible.
Walt’s tie was the first thing to disappear, falling to the ground, before you began to unbutton his shirt. Your hands then began exploring the expanse of his torso. He groaned, finally ripping his fangs from your flesh. He tried to soothe the wound with his tongue while he took off his belt and unzipped his pants.
“Tam dulcis,” he muttered. “Tu semper gustas tam dulce mihi...”
Slowly, you kissed down the length of his neck, ignoring his mumbles. Walt’s hands rested upon your shoulders, unsure of where to put them as your affection traveled down his chest and stomach. He watched with hooded eyes as you kneeled before him. You tugged at his clothing and freed him from his constraints.
His head tilted back and his mouth fell open in pleasure. His large hands landed on your temples, searching for a way to help your movements. Walt groaned at the feeling of your tongue swirling around his thick cock.
His fingers grasped at you. With a sharp thrust, his cock hit the back of your throat. Your eyes widened in surprise and your hands quickly gripped his thighs as he took control.
Walt’s thrusts were rough. Not to mention, you were sure that every guest could hear his loud, pleasured moans.
You gagged with every thrust of his hips, barely able to keep up with him. His balls slapped against your chin. Tears welled in your eyes from lack of air.
Walt could feel warmth building within him. His hips stuttered. With a final thrust, he shoved his cock to the back of your throat, pressing your nose against his warm skin.
You slapped at his thighs, gagging and aching to breathe again. Walt’s eyes rolled back as he held you against him until his pleasure finally hit its peak.
“Fuck,” he groaned.
His cum shot down your throat in bursts. You swallowed as best as you could before he let you pull away. His hands remained on your temples as you gasped for air. He panted heavily, staring down at you and stroking your skin with the pads of his thumbs.
Slowly, he ventured to where your hands rested against his thighs. His fingers grasped at your wrists, tugging you to stand once more. He placed your arms around his neck. Your fingers immediately delved into his soft hair.
His lips met yours in a rough kiss. Meanwhile, his hands busied themselves with hiking up your dress. Your grip on him tightened as he came to a pause. He pulled away from the kiss, looking down at the space between you.
With his fangs out and pupils blown wide, he grinned darkly, “No underwear? So you planned this?”
He moved closer, trapping you between his strong body and the stone wall of the manor. His sharp fangs grazed over your neck. You gasped at the feeling of his fingers delving into you.
Walt smirked when he felt how wet you had become. While his fingers pumped in and out of your center, his thumb massaged your clit. He watched as your expression shifted into one of pleasure. His eyes examined the open wound he had created on your neck earlier, smirking to himself in amusement.
You whined as his fingers left your aching center. However, you didn’t have time to complain before Walt lifted one of your legs around his waist. Your eyes quickly followed his downcast gaze.
You bit your lip in anticipation at the sight before you. Walt’s free hand stroked his cock. The tip leaked with precum, swollen and red. A prominent vein made its own appearance along the side.
And with your legs spread, you were his for the taking.
The tip of his cock met your slick. His lips collided with yours in another kiss as he finally breached your entrance. His forehead landed against your shoulder, mouth agape as he panted at the feeling of you clenching around him.
His fingertips ran over your thigh while his free hand came to rest on your back. His sharp claws were almost digging into your skin. He bared his fangs as his jaw clenched.
“Hoc maturum cunnum...” he muttered, groaning as he kissed your neck. “Fuck, you feel wonderful, my love.”
You opened your mouth to respond, only to let out a loud cry, “Oh!”
Walt’s skin met yours with every slow, rough thrust. He couldn’t resist the urge to sink his fangs into your flesh once more. You could feel blood trailing over your skin as he drank your metallic taste with deep moans.
As he took in the taste of you, Walt felt his self control slowly slipping away. His claws finally pierced your skin, creating wounds that would need some attention later. He was aglow with sweat beneath the manor’s outside lighting.
You took pleasure in his animalistic nature. His grunts and moans were music to your ears. Your hands weaved through his hair, tugging sharply. The sound of skin against skin rang through the air. His thrusts left you gasping for air.
“Walt!” you moaned. “Please!”
He ripped his fangs away from your neck. Instead, he glared into your eyes, lips stained red as his pace only grew faster. The manor’s stone wall was harshly scratching against your back each time he shoved himself back into you.
“You know, I wonder if all those people can hear you take my cock,” he chuckled, still panting as he pressed himself closer. “Do you think they can hear you beg for it?”
His strokes were growing sloppy. Heat was pooling within you. His words had only made your folds become more slick. The thought of Walt’s guests overhearing your sensual encounter made everything feel more intense.
“I’m sure that pathetic excuse for ‘entertainment’ wishes that he were in my place right now,” he continued. “How does it feel? Knowing that everyone can hear you, my sweet, precious wife, being nothing but a cocksleeve for me?”
“Walt—!”
“Walt! Oh, please, Walt!” he mocked, laughing at your desperation. “You’re mine, aren’t you? Tell me!”
It was so hard to concentrate with his hips still pounding against you. Yet, you still found the capability to respond, “Yes! Yes, I’m yours! All yours!”
“Fucking perfect for me,” he growled, pressing his forehead to yours. “Cum with me, my love!”
You nodded, panting with a slack-jawed expression. A wave of pleasure washed over you. Shivers made their way along your spine as you came around your husband’s cock.
Walt’s eyes traveled downwards. He grinned as he watched your wetness gush around him. Biting his lip, he shoved his hips firmly against you, holding you in place as he painted your walls white.
His eyebrows furrowed as he pulled out. You could feel his thick release pouring out of you. You quickly gripped at the fabric of his shirt, head tilting back and whimpers escaping into the night air.
Walt had taken his cock into one of his hands with an arrogant smile. He slapped the mushroom-shaped head against your entrance, listening to your quiet pleas. His eyes sparkled with excitement as he came to a realization.
“Oh, sweetheart,” he chuckled, softly kissing your temple. “Adhuc dura sum.”
You whined, “Walt—”
“Turn around.”
His demand was quickly followed by his hand finally releasing your thigh. He grasped your ribcage, twirling you away from him. Your eyes met the manor’s stone wall. Your hands pressed against the rough exterior, searching for some semblance of balance since Walt clearly wasn’t done with you.
The bottom of your skirt was quickly shoved up and out of his way. He then hit your bare skin with a loud SMACK! Upon hearing your surprised yelp, he rubbed his large palm over the area and kissed your shoulder as an apology.
He reached down to grasp his swollen cock. You couldn’t stop yourself from groaning at the feeling of the head repeatedly slapping against your clit. With his lips trailing over your skin, you could feel Walt’s smile growing as he listened to your pleasured sounds.
As soon as he buried himself within you for the second time, he began thrusting at an almost overwhelming pace. He held onto your sides and used his harsh grip to tug you back and forth on his cock. His hips collided with your backside with every thrust. You were that there would be bruises on your flesh by the next morning.
You could barely keep up with him. Sweat trickled along your skin, despite how cool the nighttime air was. Walt panted heavily, hunched over you, seeking another climax.
Although he was still hard, both of you were still sensitive from the previous round. Walt gritted his teeth, eyes focused on where he was pounding into you from behind. He was practically rearranging your insides.
You could feel another orgasm building within you. There was no way his guests couldn’t hear the two of you at this point. Not with the loud cries of pleasure that escaped your throat, despite any efforts to contain them. Not to mention, the sound of skin against skin echoing in the dark.
Cock twitching and aching within you, Walt growled, “Take it, darling! I’m cumming! Take all of me!”
Another climax took over his body. As his release flooded into your tight walls, your own orgasm followed suit. Walt grinned as you came over his thick cock. His thrusts slowed, though he continued to fuck his load into you, desperate to have you dripping with his cum.
He wrapped his arms around you, tugging you away from the wall. Your back was flush against his chest. His lips trailed kisses over the available skin of your neck.
Your eyebrows furrowed when you suddenly felt his thrusts building up once more. Your hands tightly wrapped around his. He was grinning against you as his pace began to slowly increase.
Twitching from overstimulation and laughing quietly, you muttered, “Walt! Wasn’t that enough? How long are we going to keep this up?”
“It’s like I said, my love,” he chuckled, hips grinding heavily into your backside, “eternity will be you and me...”

Freedom - Walt Deville Imagine (The Invitation)
Tumblr media
Title: Freedom
Pairing: Walt Deville X Reader
Word Count: 1,145 words
Warning(s): mention of violence/potential violence
Summary: A hunter meets a vampire. The unstoppable force meets the unbreakable object, allowing for the ultimate battle between logic and desire.
Author's Note: Here's that longer plotline I mentioned on my last imagine.
Part of this was inspired by a gorgeous monologue written by Ross McGregor and performed by Christopher Tester. You can find it here! It was truly the last thing that I needed to help me tie this whole plotline together, so go check it out. It's fucking beautiful work.
PART TWO HERE
PART THREE HERE
--------------------------
"I know what you are."
I froze on the landing of the stairs, looking up at the top of the other staircase.
Walt stood on the top step; one eyebrow slightly raised. He tilted his head at me. Like he expected me to spill every secret to him just because he looked at me.
I knew in my heart what he was referring to. If someone gets a job on your estate with some ulterior motive, you will probably notice at some point.
I was a hunter.
I had been for a long time.
My hunting partner had sent me on this job, insisting that I was the best choice to go undercover and figure out the truth about what was happening in the manor.
I was meant to run under the radar, take care of the vamp, and run for the hills.
I had been there for weeks.
I was convinced I knew who it was. I believed it was Mr. Fields. He was constantly tense and seemed to be always overly cautious. I can admit when I'm wrong, but I didn't think I was at the time.
All I had to do after that was find the time to take care of him.
Which was proving ridiculously difficult.
That's the only reason that I had been there as long as I had.
I never meant for Walt to even notice me.
But once he had, I couldn't just avoid him. It would've given away that there was something about me to focus on.
We talked. A lot.
I had confessed more to him than I ever meant to. I had managed to tell him so much about myself without saying I was a hunter. I shouldn't have said as much as I did, but he seemed so interested and so... kind.
And now he was standing at the top of the stairs, staring down at me like he was daring me to do something. Run, fight, anything at all.
"What do you mean," I finally asked. I needed confirmation.
"A hunter."
There it was.
Nevertheless, I scoffed. "I don't know what you're talking about, Walt."
"You don't?"
"Not at all."
"I don't believe you," he started walking down the steps. "Hunters... they always get just a little too confident."
When he made it down most of the stairs, I took off, going to run down the rest of the staircase. The one night I didn't have a weapon. I had no intention of fighting. He was right behind me, dragging me away from the steps and shoving me to the wall, pinning my wrists with his hands. I flinched a bit, having narrowly avoided hitting the things on and by the wall.
Walt offered a sickeningly sweet smile.
I caught sight of the fangs in the dim light around us. I had been so convinced that it was Mr. Fields. I was such an idiot.
"You hide it well," Walt said quietly. He was so calm that it made me entirely uneasy. "Many hunters have shown up on my doorstep... you've been the most impressive."
I tried to kick him, or just move my leg some way. It didn't work.
"Shh, shh, shh," he chuckled a bit. I felt his claws dig into my skin slightly. "Stop moving."
I calmed down, realizing the risk right now.
"I could kill you now," he muttered, his lips finding my neck. "Hunters were always the most satisfying... but I have no interest in that now."
He pulled away again. I don't know what he was looking for as his eyes scanned every part of my face.
"You are... something very, very different... so clever and so brave and so... tempting..."
He leaned forward and pressed his lips to mine. I froze. His lips were slow, attempting to guide mine to move with them. I almost did. My eyes started to flutter close, longing starting to stop my logical thought.
He pulled away as he moved from holding my wrists to gently holding my hands. Vulnerable. Open for me to take action. Shove, fight, hit.
But I didn't. I couldn't.
He lifted one of my hands to his lips, pressing a kiss to my palm before turning it over to kiss the back. He held it there for a while. It was like he wanted to stop time and hold onto this moment.
"Leave him," Walt said softly. I blinked at him, suddenly snapping back into focus. "Stay here... with me."
I didn't answer. I wanted to quickly decline. To kill him and go home to my normal life. Achieve what my partner wanted of me.
Walt's eyes were closed as another kiss was pressed to my hand.
"He craves your usefulness," he continued. "Your obedience. I... I just want you. You've captured my mind and my heart. I long for you. Stay with me. Please."
"I...," still speechless. How long had it been since I was last speechless? Had that ever happened?
"Imagine it," Walt moved back, guiding me away from the wall.
He stepped behind me when we reached the middle of the landing. His arms wrapped around me, his lips brushing the shell of my ear.
"All of this... ours," he muttered. "You would have your own room for your research and your weapons. Every decision would be yours. At last, your choice. You would be loved, taken care of. Nothing earned, everything offered. And then, when the time is right, you will be joined to me forever. We'll dance through midnights and love for centuries. Unstoppable."
I felt like his words were circling my mind, burrowing into whatever part they could find until they had overwhelmed me. I had never heard something like that before. Not directed at me anyway.
"Let me provide everything that man could never," Walt gently kissed my neck, humming against the skin. "Let me adore you."
I took a deep breath. "My life... my work... all my own?"
"All I ask is your love and commitment."
It wasn't the only factor that I was considering, but I needed to know. Locking myself in this house would have driven me mad. Being able to work... to continue my purpose in this world... that's what I needed. I couldn't prove his love false, but I could do just that with his actions.
I turned around in his arms.
He grinned at me.
I leaned forward and pressed my lips to his. His hold on my sides tightened and he pulled me closer. I touched the sides of his face, grinning into the kiss. I had never had a moment feel more complete. I felt at peace. Free.
I leaned back, resting my forehead against his. "Yes... I'll stay."
His grin grew into a wide smile.
Thus was the beginning of my eternity. And what a brilliant eternity it would be.

Roses - Walt De Ville Imagine [The Invitation]
Tumblr media
Title: Roses
Pairing: Walt De Ville X Reader
Word Count: 3,110 words
Warning(s): kidnapping, brief mention of blood
Summary: (Y/n) begins to find roses sitting on their doorstep. When their given the opportunity to meet the man behind the small gifts, they immediately accept. Maybe they should have offered the idea more thought before making such a quick decision.
Author's Note: I have thought about this idea for weeks. I just wasn't sure how I wanted it to end.
Also, this got so out of hand.
--------------------
When the first rose appeared on my doorstep, I assumed it was some weird kind of accident.
A mistaken delivery or something of that nature.
It was a lovely rose.
I even grabbed it and placed it in a little cup of water before I headed out for the day.
I shrugged, smiled at it, and went about my business.
And then, there was another rose the next day. I was heading to work, and I stepped out to find another flower.
I furrowed my eyebrows and grabbed it.
Once was easy enough to write off. Twice was harder to explain away.
Still, I placed the flower in the cup and went to work.
This pattern kept going. I would find a flower on my doorstep, I would place it in my small cup, and then I would move on with my day. I would usually try to come up with some reason for this all happening, but it was becoming more difficult as time went on.
It all came to a head on my day off a few days later.
I had decided to take most of the day to clean. A nice and normal task.
In all honesty, I found little joy in cleaning. I knew it was necessary for my safety and well-being, but I would give anything to just snap my fingers and have the entire thing done. Even with music blasting in my headphones, I had trouble finding an ounce of the task enjoyable.
I thought that I could find much better ways to spend my time.
But still, it needed to be done, so I was going to do it.
At the time, I was going to take out the trash.
I pulled the door open but didn't get much further.
"Oh, what the fuck is this?"
I froze in my doorway and stared at the huge bouquet of roses. It was even in a vase already. All of this commitment from a person that I had yet to even see, never mind meet.
It felt like an eternity before the shock finally wore off.
"Oh, that is just... obnoxiously dramatic," I muttered.
I picked up the vase and went back inside.
As I placed it on the table, a note caught my eye.
I was stunned. A note. After all this time and secrecy, the mysterious admirer left a note. It felt like a trick.
It wasn't a long note, by any means.
You have been invited to join Walter De Ville for dinner at his estate tomorrow night. If you are to accept, you will have transportation provided to you. They will arrive at five p.m.
"Oh, you have got to be fucking kidding," I mumbled. "This can't... This can't be real. 'At his estate,' who says shit like that anymore?"
The only good thing that came out of it at the time was a name.
Walter De Ville.
It sounded like a name of old money. Dipped in oil, coated in coal from the mines. An old man sneering from behind his cigar that made the entire house stink, but he would be damned if he had to smoke on the patio. That kind of name.
I never thought that I would be one to allow my curiosity to cloud my better judgment. But here I was, getting ready to meet whatever transportation was meant to pick me up and bring me to the De Ville estate.
I stood outside at about four-fifty. I watched cars roll by for a while before one finally stopped in front of my home.
"(Y/n) (Y/l/n)," an older man called from the sidewalk.
My heart froze. That couldn't be Walter. Could it?
"Yeah," I called back, slowly walking forward. The man pulled the door to the backseat open.
"Mr. De Ville is anxiously awaiting your arrival."
I nodded. "Thank you."
I sat in the seat and buckled my seatbelt. The older man sat in the back next to me as the driver took off.
It took me a moment to speak up again, "What's your name?"
"Everyone calls me Mr. Fields," he explained. "I have worked for the De Ville family for many years."
"Oh," I replied. "May I ask what Mr. De Ville wants with me?"
"He has seemingly become intrigued by you," he said. "I would explain his feelings if I could."
I nodded again.
I watched the scenery pass by us. I made some comment about the trees being lovely. Mr. Fields didn't respond to it. I fell into an uneasy silence after that.
It was a beautiful house. A mansion. There were intricate details along the walls. Stone walls that looked like they were attempting to reach into the sky. It was breathtaking.
What would someone from a place like this want with me?
How would they even know about me? This place was in the middle of nowhere.
I only had a few moments to admire the outside of the mansion before I was ushered inside.
"Mr. De Ville is waiting in the dining room," Mr. Fields explained.
I nodded and followed him there.
The walls were a dark red while the table and chairs were a dark wood. I was immediately overwhelmed by the grandiosity of it all.
"(Y/n)."
I looked at the other person in the room. A man, around my age, stood from his seat and stepped over. There was a sickeningly charming smile on his face. He reached out his hand.
"Walter," I greeted.
"Walt," he corrected.
"Right... well, it's a pleasure to meet you," I said, going to shake his hand.
He pulled my hand up and pressed a kiss to the back of it. I took a deep breath as some kind of instinctual response.
"The pleasure is all mine," he replied. He stepped back and walked to the table, pulling out a chair. "Please, sit."
I nodded and walked to the seat, letting him push the chair in for me.
"I feel a need to apologize for how long it took me to invite you here," he continued as someone came in to pour us each a glass of wine.
"I wasn't expecting an invitation in the first place," I explained. "The roses gave the impression of a secret admirer, so I didn't truly expect to know who you were."
"I am sorry for being so secretive. I believed that it would be a way to flatter you."
I nodded.
"I can't quite explain it, but I found you... entrancing. You captured my attention immediately. I have been infatuated with you."
"Oh," I muttered. I had never truly had someone talk about me like that. I was not the one that people got crushes on. I had grown used to that.
"I hope that I haven't made you too nervous."
I shook my head. "No, no. Not at all."
"Not at all," he asked, raising an eyebrow at me with a smirk.
"That wasn't as nice as I wanted it to be," I chuckled, shaking my head. "I meant that you're not making me uncomfortable."
"Good," he nodded.
Just as he said that two more people bustled in with plates. I stared down at the dish set in front of me. It looked like a dish on a cooking show. Too fancy to be eaten. What kind of monster would I be if I ruined the equivalent of a piece of art?
"Please, enjoy, I ensured that the best would be made," Walt pushed.
I slowly nodded, reaching for my utensils.
I wish that I had looked a little closer. If I had, then I would have noticed that Walt didn't partake in the dinner. He made it appear like he did. He carefully pushed his food along the plate. It must have been a convincing enough performance for me to never ask about it.
"Tell me about yourself," Walt said after a moment.
I paused for a moment. "After the flowers that you sent, I assumed you knew everything there was to know."
"Nothing like hearing it from the source," he replied. "Please."
"What do you want to know?"
"What do you spend your time doing?"
"Well, I'm usually working," I shrugged. "Just a boring little job. It's only meant to pay the bills. But I have met very good people there."
Walt's eyes stayed trained on me as I spoke. To be certain that I didn't get overwhelmed by the intensity just below the surface, I had to switch between looking back at him and looking at the plate in front of me.
"When I'm not doing that, I'm usually making art of some form," I continued. "An old love. Very calming."
"You don't wish to pursue it as a career?"
"I would love to," I corrected. "But, as of right now, I will settle for stress relief."
"Well, I like to see myself as having a great appreciation for the arts," he explained. "I hope that one day I'll get to see your work."
"I would like that."
How had one person made me feel so comfortable in such a short amount of time?
The dinner was full of conversation just like that. Small talk about hobbies and interests and small habits. Most of it was about me. Not because I didn't ask, but because he seemed very good at steering the conversation in any direction away from him. He didn't seem interested in telling me much about himself.
Once dinner had come and gone, Walt stood from his seat and held out his hand.
"I understand that it has been a long evening already, but I would like to give you a tour of the estate if you're interested," he offered.
I grinned and placed my hand in his, letting him help me up. "Lead the way."
His hand left mine as we walked out of the dining room.
He told me some of the history and about the artwork. It was the closest that Walt had gotten to talking about himself.
He led me through rooms and hallways, telling me all about how much he adored each room. Like each one held a place in his heart like a family member or loved one would.
He froze outside of a room upstairs.
There was a pair of dark doors with golden doorknobs. He placed his hands over one of them, pausing to look at me with this small, knowing smirk. He knew very well that whatever was behind that door was going to take my breath away.
"You mentioned a love for art," Walt said. I nodded. "You will feel very at home here."
He opened the door and held it open for me. I barely noticed it closing behind me when I saw the room.
"Wow," I mumbled.
It was perfectly messy. Canvases and paints. I could see all mediums of art. It was all so distracting and amazing. The walls themselves were a dark green. They matched the dark wood floors and furniture. The windows along the far wall were tall. There were bars over them, but there was still enough room to allow sunlight to cascade through. At least, that's what I imagined would happen if it were still light outside.
"This is beautiful," I looked over at Walt, who was simply grinning at me.
"I would hope so," he nodded. Like he had been waiting for my reaction. I shook off that thought.
"Is it all yours," I asked. "I know you mentioned an appreciation for the arts, but you didn't mention making any?"
"Oh, if only," he chuckled. "Sadly, I am only an artistic genius when considering stick figures."
That made me furrow my eyebrows as I laughed lightly. Why would he have this room then?
"I did try, but nothing ever clicked."
"Oh," I mumbled.
"Maybe you could teach me," he suggested.
"Trying to tempt me into another visit, Walt," I asked.
A smirk pulled at his lips. "Is that what I'm doing?"
I scoffed.
"Would you?"
"I could be convinced," I replied.
There was a pause in our conversation. Walt took the moment to clear some of the distance between us.
I couldn't help the nervous laugh that escaped me as he stepped closer. I looked down as his hand brushed mine. He wrapped his fingers around my hand. I looked back at him, trying to calm my breathing a bit.
"I do make you nervous," Walt teased me.
"Any person is more intimidating when they get closer to someone else," I explained, ignoring my racing heart.
"Oh, of course," he nodded. "How foolish of me to assume anything more than that."
"You truly should get better at examining things from all angles. It will help you with your art."
His smirk widened for a moment before he let his eyes scan down my body. "How tempting that idea is."
I scoffed at the boldness of his statement.
He chuckled a bit as his eyes met mine again.
He slowly leaned forward. I felt a chill run up my spine as his breath brushed over the surface of my skin.
He froze just before his lips could meet mine. "Can I kiss you?"
I took a deep breath through my nose. "Yes."
When he kissed me, I felt time stop. My skin was covered in goosebumps. My mind was racing at the same speed as my heart. I had never experienced a kiss that felt quite like this one. I had never had a kiss make me feel so desirable. I adored that feeling.
I tried to savor that feeling for as long as possible.
However, my enjoyment came to an abrupt end when I felt something sharp dig into the skin of my wrist.
I hissed as I pulled away and looked down.
I let out something similar to a yelp when I saw that it was Walt's nails, now long and sharp and dark. Claws. That was the best word for them.
"Oh dear," he whispered. "Seems like you made me lose control of myself."
He let go of my arm just as I pulled it away from him.
I held it close to my body, staring at him in shock.
"I am so sorry, my love," he continued. "I will not let such an accident happen again."
"Listen," I said. "I... I don't know what this is, but I have no interest in being any part of it."
I walked away from him, going toward the door. Mr. Fields walked in just as I did. I felt a wave of hope at the sight of his grumpy face.
"Please, take me home-"
My words trailed off as he turned and locked the doors.
"What are you doing?"
He didn't answer me.
"I want to go home-"
I tried to push past him, but I was grabbed and shoved back roughly. I stumbled a bit, finding myself closer to Walt than I desired to be. I moved backward, getting as close to the far wall as I could.
"No need to be scared," Walt said.
"The claw marks on my arm and the locked door beg to differ," I snapped.
He shook his head and chuckled. "As witty as they are gorgeous, aren't they, Mr. Fields?"
Mr. Fields merely nodded in agreement.
"Let me go home," I ignored the comment. "I... I won't tell anyone about this. I promise. Just let me go and you'll never see or hear from me ever again. You can live in peace-"
Walt started to shush me as I rambled. "Why would I never want to see you again?"
My words died on my tongue.
"Do you think that I plan to kill you," he asked. "No, no, no, my love..."
I furrowed my eyebrows.
"I plan to make this your home," he explained. "You are going to stay with me. Forever."
"I just met you."
"And yet, I've known you for so long," he replied. "I have given this considerable thought. I want you here. With me. To love and take care of. Imagine it... a life with none of those things that could weigh so heavily on your mind."
I stepped further back when he tried to step closer to me.
"You'll be very happy here, I promise."
"You don't believe that I would genuinely just stay put because you want me to, do you?"
"I would hate to have to find a way to restrain you, but I will if need be."
I ran my hands over my face.
"This is your home now. With me. I would accept that now and make it easier on everyone."
"What about work," I asked, trying to ignore how much my hands were shaking. "And my family? I have co-workers, I have siblings. Someone will wonder where I am. What will you do then?"
"A letter of resignation has already found its way to your boss's desk," Walt explained. "And you'll get to see your family. I'm not a monster."
"Do you want to re-think that sentence?"
An amused huff escaped him. "Oh, my love, I can be a monster if it's required, but I would rather not entertain that side of myself if I don't need to."
I felt that sickening feeling in my stomach only getting worse.
"All I ask is that you behave yourself," he continued. "After a while, I would be delighted to invite your family. To show them the beautiful life that you live with me."
He walked closer to me. I didn't move away from him this time. I knew that I had no hope of escaping him. I wasn't giving up hope. I was trying to play my cards right.
His hand reached up and cupped the side of my face. That charming smile that enchanted me earlier that evening now made my heart sink.
"Why me," I asked, voice no more than a whisper. It had been on my mind all night, but now, it felt like essential knowledge.
"My love, is it not obvious to you?"
I bit my lip to stop my tears from falling.
"No need to worry," he mumbled, leaning forward to press a kiss to my cheek. I flinched when his lips found my skin. "I will ensure that you eventually see exactly what I do."
I took a shaky breath.
"I think we should retire for the evening," he said. He guided me away from the wall and to the door. A kiss was laid on my shoulder as he did. "You will be so happy here, my love."
I feared for the day that could possibly be true.

Turned: Walter Deville x Fem! Reader
Tumblr media
Summary--The day after you turned / transitioned from human to vampire, Walt takes extra care and watches over you and helps you get comfortable as a new vampire.
(A/N: This is a really random story I wrote in the middle of the night because that is just what I do sometimes and I really enjoy that. I apologize if some parts in this don't make sense, I tried. Please be nice. I also apologize if there are any spelling or grammar mistakes in this.
Warnings: None- just a lot of the use of the words, 'Darling' and 'My love' )
🦇
The day after I turned was a lot calmer than the day before, even when the turning happened. Less chaotic than the day before too. I was laying on my back in the enormously comfortable bed in my room Walt had allowed me to stay in upon my arrival a few weeks ago.
A small knock on the door was heard. Not knowing who it could be, I allowed for the person to come in.
"Come in!" I called out loud as the door squeaked open, then closed quietly a few seconds later.
"Ah Y/n, you're awake." Said Walt as he quickly glided into my room, smiling brightly as soon as his eyes met mine.
I smiled back at him as I shifted my position from laying on my back to resting gently on my elbows.
"Hi, Walt bae." I spoke softly while a giggle escaped my lips.
Walt made his way over to the bed, and sat on the edge of the bed next to me, "How are you feeling, my love?" Asked Walt, he gently rubbed my knee atop of the silk toned blankets that covered the bed.
"Much better today. However, the taste of blood still tastes bitter on my tongue." I replied, giggling again as did Walt too.
"I'm so glad to hear that. And don't worry about the blood, okay? You'll get used to it as it does take a little to adjust to it, darling." Walt smiled softly, looking into my eyes as he showed me that I truly was okay and that I was in good hands with him.
Our eyes locked onto one another for a few long seconds that caused my heart rate to increase as my breathing began to hitch for a moment.
I then nodded my head as I blushed a little after hearing his reassuring words and started to feel it by his presence in the room.
"Thank you for being so kind to me, Walt. It really helps soothe the new vampire nerves and is making the experience so much smoother than I had imagined." I spoke softly as I reached out and held his hand in mine.
With that gesture, Walt smiled and nodded as well, while rubbing the top of my hand with his thumb.
"Of course my love. But no need to thank me. I'm quite sure you would have done a marvelous job turning on your own." Said Walt, sending a wink my way which caused me to blush once more.
"You truly know just what to say to make a girl tickled pink." I smiled more, beaming with delight.
Walt chuckled softly as he nodded his head after hearing my response. "I guess you can say I'm a bit of an expert in that field."
Him and I both giggled in unison for a couple seconds more. "I think we should get on with the day now, don't you think, my love?" Questioned Walt as he then gently patted my knee while hopping off the bed, standing a few feet away from me.
I nodded in agreement as I sat up in bed, smiling up at Walt for the billionth time. "That sounds perfect. Just please let me get dressed, I can't take on the day as a new vampire in my comfy cozy pajamas."
"Take your time. I will be in my study room. The door is always open for you there." Said Walt before quickly booping my nose with his finger.
I scrunch my nose as the heat began to rise on my face while giggling a bit louder as I wasn't expecting Walt to do something cute like that.
It was adorable.
🦇
I began to get out of my bed, slipping out of the covers as I turned my body to the side as my feet were dangling a few feet above the ground.
Once I touched the ground, I took two steps forward as I tried making my way to the closet that had my wardrobe. By the third step, both of my legs buckled from underneath me.
Feeling that happen all at once was a very strange feeling. It was like the floor had collapsed from underneath me and the only way to go was down.
I gasped as I began to fall forward. By some lucky miracle, Walt was still in the room and saw what was about to happen as he quickly lunged forward to where I was at, catching me mid fall.
I landed safely in his lap as he had a strong grip on my arms, even when we both landed on the floor.
"Please tell me that's normal new vampire side effects, Walt?" I questioned as I raised my eyebrow up at him.
Glancing down at me, Walt nodded as his beautiful smile appeared on his face once more.
"Yes, my love. I'm sorry I didn't warn you about that before. I promise this won't happen all the time."
I sighed in relief and smiled softly as I looked up at Walt more. He quickly kissed my cheek before helping me up off the ground.
"Here you are, darling. Hang onto my hands for as long as you need."
My hands remained in his as I thanked him and smiled as he smiled as well.
A few moments later, Walt guided me to the ottoman bench that was placed in front of the bed in my room.
"With you almost falling like that can only mean one or two things, my love. Either you took too much or too little of my blood from the festivities the night before, or something else I can't quite wrap my finger around." Stated Walt, thinking out loud, his index finger pointing and resting atop his chin, leaving me confused a bit as to what he was thinking about.
"Your blood sugar is low and needs to get back up again. Would you fancy a snack, my love?" Walt raised his eyebrow as he smirked my way, as I of course blushed at the sight.
I giggled to myself while quickly nodding in response to his suggestion. Suddenly, a thought puzzled my brain about this.
"Wait a second. Vampires eat snacks? I thought they only ate the flesh of their prey, let alone drink their blood too?"
Walt chuckled to himself. He glanced down at the floor for a moment. He nodded his head and pursed his lips as he glanced back up at me.
"You must have heard that in books. We vampires eat any type of food there is, which includes snacks. Our vampire ablities aren't active during the day, only at night. Hence why we seem more human to others who may visit us from time to time here at New Carfax."
I smirked and nodded after hearing his response. I was a little embarrassed because I knew my basic vampire knowledge but just wasn't sure if those facts were true and accurate in this time frame.
Walt noticed my change in emotions as he gently tickled the tip of my chin with his fingers, causing me to be tickled pink again.
🦇
Walt had taken me into the mannor's kitchen where there he prepared a snack dish he knew I'd enjoy.
I was sitting atop one of the kitchen counters as Walt came over and revealed the dish after removing the silver steel dish cover, which was a delicious and yummy slice of vanilla cake (A/N: Vanilla is one of my favorite flavors and I know that for the story, it should be chocolate instead. Just this once let be vanilla, please and thank you haha) that was so mouthwatering that it caused me so much excitement.
"Oooh! Vanilla flavored cake, my favorite. Thank you, handsome." I grinned and winked at Walt. He smiled and then placed the plate of cake on the counter next to me as he handed me a fork.
"Anything for you, darling. Now please eat, eat." Said Walt, motioning to the cake next to me.
I simply nodded my head quickly and blushed as I felt Walt's gaze on me. As I ate the yummy cake, that helped as the delightful fullness soon filled my stomach.
Walt helped me clean up by taking away the plate and putting it in the kitchen sink, knowing that one of the maids would clean it tomorrow. When Walt waltzed back over to me, his eyes and thumb gently landed on my lips.
Using his thumb, Walt gently removed a itty bit of leftover frosting that was on my lips. My breath hitched as the blush on my face grew rapidly.
"Looks like you missed a spot, darling." Walt softly spoke as he then smirked and licked the frosting off of his finger.
"Oh goodness, sorry about that. You can't take me anywhere I guess." I flushed a little from the slight embarrassment. Walt's soothing chuckle soothed my nerves as it echoed through my ears.
"You're adorable, Y/n." Was the last thing Walt said as he began to look deep into my eyes. One hand gently resting atop of my face as his other hand rested atop my thigh.
At this point, my face was as pink as a flamingo's feather and I'm pretty sure Walt could hear my heartbeat. Getting kissed by him always made my heart feel as if it were about to jump out of my chest.
I absolutely loved it.
🦇
All I could was smile and giggle up at Walt as our strong eye contact with each other continued.
"You're pretty cute too, Walt bae." I whispered quickly as I soon closed my eyes after feeling Walt's lips touch mine.
As the kiss deepened, I gently anchored my hands on top of his arms as his thumb stroked and rubbed my cheek.
Shortly after, Walt slowly pulled away, allowing the both of us to breathe. He smiled at me as he rubbed my thigh and knee with his hand.
"This already feels like one of the best days of my life. I'm having a great time already." I chirped as my face still glowed from blush after Walt's kiss.
Walt smiled and continued to rub my knee / thigh more. "You deserve it, darling. I wanted to take extra special care and watch over you today, since you're a brand new vampire and I think you're already a marvelous one."
I couldn't stop smiling. Each and every single word that Walt said warmed my heart so much. I know he cares and truly cares deep down inside of him and in his heart, regardless of him being a monster that is a vampire. That goes for me too.
I didn't care. I love him for him and nothing else. Deeply too. Being a vampire alongside him was a thrill to me and I loved every second of it.
Walt had helped me off of the kitchen counter and the two of us exited the kitchen and were now in the large dark hallway in the manor, walking hand in hand together.
As we kept walking further into the manor, I gasped loudly, which caused us to stop walking. I then grabbed hold of Walt's hand as he widened his eyes because he wasn't sure what was happening yet.
"Y/n? My love, are you okay?" Walt quickly questioned as he rested his hand on the base of my back, kneeling a little to my height.
I stood completely still while holding onto his hand as my mouth shot open and it was there where I felt two large and sharply pointed fangs slide into form. This caused me to smirk to myself as it was my favorite part about being a vampire.
"Oh my gosh! My fangs are here again. This is so cool." I chirped again as I glanced down at Walt and let him examine my freshly added teeth.
Seeing the sight was a relief to Walt as he nodded his head and smiled brightly at me. "They look fierce and stunning on you, my love." Said Walt as he stood up straight again, sending a wink my way as I instantly blushed and stuck out my tongue.
"Uhmm darling? Are you hungry?" Walt randomly questioned, this time hesitantly as he realized what getting a new set of vampire fangs means for a freshly new vampire.
"Now that you mention it, yes I am. And not for cake this time. When is it feeding time around here for us vampires, Walt bae?" I confidently spoke as I smirked at Walt with my fangs still out. I couldn't control this new feeling and crave of blood.
Walt sighed hesitantly as he knew that it was time for my first feed as a new vampire. He knew he wasn't in harm but who would be my prey? That caused some hesitation in him, which was rare.
Walt gently but quickly grabbed hold of my hand and led me to the grand staircase, "Come along darling, let's go find a maid for you to feed on."
With that, that was exactly what happened. My official feeding as a new vampire happened and with the help and guidance of Walt, it went as expected… in Walt's mind obviously.
Walt was proud of me and I knew it. He knew I was ready to be a full time vampire alongside him and that's just the way he liked it.
-the end!
I hope you enjoyed the read. This was fun to write. I do apologize if it was kind of random or didn't make sense at parts. That's what happens when you start writing a story after midnight. That happens a lot for me haha. Either way, I hope you all liked it.
I should also mention that I got "Walt Bae" from Nathalie in an interview where she said that was her nickname for Thomas. I thought that was too cute and couldn't help myself and include it in this story.

The Perfect Eternity - Walt Deville Imagine (The Invitation)
Tumblr media
Title: The Perfect Eternity
Pairing: Walt Deville X Reader
Word Count: 1,020 words
Warning(s): blood, injuries, blood drinking, mention of murder/hunting
Summary: (Y/n) and Walt have been together for a while now. After a coming home from a particularly rough hunting trip, (Y/n) decides they want to take the most important step for them both.
Author's Note: I feel like this idea has gotten wildly out of hand.
PART ONE HERE
PART TWO HERE
-------------------------
I was tired.
Tired and sore and hurt. And maybe a little grumpy.
The hunt hadn't gone nearly as well as I had hoped.
I got there far later than I wanted. People had gotten killed that would've probably lived if I had just been a little bit faster. Then, some kid followed me and got hurt before I could stop the damn thing. He was left in a rough condition when I left but staying wasn't an option. Not to mention that I had gotten myself hurt.
It wasn't bad. Mostly bruises and small cuts. The worst was a deeper cut on my arm.
I had gotten back to the manor, showered, and dressed myself enough to be comfortable while dealing with my arm. I had found a place on the small couch in the all-too-large bedroom, a first aid kit sitting next to me.
Admittedly, I had been avoiding Walt.
He tended to overreact when I was hurt. He'd fuss over me. Make me lay in bed for days over what was my equivalent of a rolled ankle or a paper cut.
I adored him. I truly did. But I needed to just take care of this without hearing him worry about it.
I knew I had been caught when the door to the room opened.
Walt walked in, quietly closing the door. He had probably been expecting me to be asleep.
He stopped when he saw me on the couch.
"Hello, my love," he said. "I was expecting to meet you by the door."
"Sorry," I mumbled, still looking at my wound. "I needed to take care of this."
I heard his footsteps on the floor. "You know that you don't have to handle that on your own, don't you?"
"I can deal with it," I shrugged. "I did for years before I got here."
He slowly walked over before kneeling on the ground next to the couch.
He didn't start fussing over any of my injuries this time.
That made me slowly look up from my cleaning and attempts at bandaging.
His eyes were trained on my arm. Just watching it. Most of the bleeding had stopped on its own. Just a few drops forming on the wound. But I caught him. I don't think he was aware that I had.
"Come here," I instructed as I put my things down. He furrowed his eyebrows. I motioned him closer.
When he got close enough for me to reach, I cupped the side of his face and guided him toward my arm. He hesitated for a moment. I never expected that. I figured he would simply take what he wanted.
"It's okay, darling," I mumbled to him. "I trust you."
My eyes closed as soon as his tongue touched my arm. My free hand reached out to run through the hair on the nape of his neck.
He was oddly gentle. I never considered that possibility. I had yet to watch him truly feed. I had pictured something fast and animalistic. I was basing that assumption off of what I had seen from other vamps.
But Walt... Walt was so careful. Even as his mouth fully latched onto my arm, it all felt so intimate. This was an act of trust for him. An act of love.
It was for me too.
My chest swelled with affection at the small shock of pain in my skin.
I allowed myself to imagine a try eternity with him. With moments as intimate as these. How perfect a life like that would be. A life with him. He was all I wanted. I just needed to take the step to accept the love that was already there.
Walt pulled away on his own. Slowly. Sucking turned into gentle licks, which then turned to a gentle kiss laid on the wound.
I guided him to turn toward me. I admired him. Studied him.
I leaned in and pressed my lips to his.
Most of us have tasted our blood in small amounts. We've all sucked on a paper cut or bitten our lip a little too hard. But this... This was overwhelming. Almost entrancing.
When Walt pulled away, a smile pulled at his lips. His fangs were on display. Proud display.
I smiled back at him, running my thumb along his cheekbone.
I took a deep breath before speaking, "Walt..."
"Yes, my love," he replied.
"I... I'm ready," I explained. His head tilted a bit. "I want to join you... forever. Properly."
He reached up and touched the hand that I had pressed to the side of his face.
"Are you certain that this is what you want," he asked.
I nodded. "I love you, Walt. More than I've loved anyone before. I... I want to do this."
His smile only grew before he lined forward and pressed his lips to mine again. I chuckled a bit at how sudden the movement was. The kiss was passionate and loving and all that I had wanted from a kiss before.
It was all about the next step.
I had considered everything that went into my decision.
My commitment to Walt, his commitment to me, just how long eternity could be, the risks of becoming one of the very things I hunted... all of it.
The one thing that I didn't consider was the benefits that my new abilities could offer when hunting.
All of the sudden, I was faster and stronger. I had built-in weapons now. I was more of a threat. Most monsters got spooked by a vamp hunter. Other vamps respected me. I respected them. Whether that was because of my turn or simply because of who my husband was, I didn't care.
I was better now. So much better.
But the hunting and the power and the respect... none of it truly mattered.
Because even without all of that, I still had Walt waiting at home for me. I had someone to pull me close, kiss me, hold me... someone that could love me and that I could love in return.
It was the definition of the perfect eternity.
