What the future holds (N.O. Saints)

What happens now? The season is over, we have some upcoming free agency signings to get done and pieces need to be moved to even think of having a successful season next year. Do the Saints even have the ability to right the ship this off season? All of the sports talking heads are telling us they're in cap hell, there words not mine. Next season they'll return with a defense that is mostly intact and Chris Olave as positives to move forward with. Their is an outstanding QB controversy that needs to be dealt with, and if you ask me it should have been sorted last season. Jameis Winston was the starter and had earned that spot but lost it due to injury, which they assured him wouldn't happen. I don't think the team believes in him the way Sean Peyton did and instead of looking for other opportunities in the league he should be coming back to the Saints. I know this isn't likely to happen but a man can dream.

So the question here, is Andy Dalton coming back for another season or are they letting his contract expire? I think they move on from him. Sure he put up decent numbers but nothing spectacular and the organization is honest they know with better QB play they likely would have beaten the incredibly NFC south. My prediction is they do something stupid like try to grab another mediocre QB in the off season to compete for what should be Winston's job. Jamies Winston Will beat them out and get the starting gig only to be stabbed in the back again if he even gets so much as a cold. Another down year is on the horizon for the Saints sad to say, but maybe if we end up being the losers of the league again the guys upstairs might learn how to run a damn team and get us back in the playoffs.
