favorite thing about them

genuinely thought creating zombie no jutsu was fine and normal. he was like "yeah i'll create some zombies" and just did it. i love a good insane and unhinged scientist and simply cannot resist! but even more than that i LOVE the implications of it. how does someone justify creating that? what was his thought process? unpopular opinion

he was not kagami and danzo and torifu's sensei!!! they were on his escort unit when he was hokage, but they were NOT his students. also as mentioned earlier, i definitely think he is biased against the uchiha because he just refuses to acknowledge the fact that the war messed him up in any way, and as a result he both 1) has prejudices and 2) is insanely self defensive about it (realized i didnt finish typing this sentence at first x_x adhd strikes again)

Trying (and failing miserably,) to decode Patton's playlist.

1. Campfire Song Song from SpongeBob Squarepants: cute little jam and a reference to earlier episode. Nice.

2. Turnaround from The Little Prince: Patton definitely singing about the other sides and questioning their personalities, like asking Logan to cheer up, or for Virgil to stop being so shy (or vice versa.) Prove me wrong.

3. I Got a Name by Jim Croce: Patton trying to stay positive with the other group, and stay true to himself. That doesn't end well.

4. Oranges by Lawrence: How Patton is often excluded from majority of serious conversations, or the divide between Light sides and Dark sides (cough cough they're all just sides.) Possibly it could be Patton's inner turmoil when it comes to his other emotions.

5. I Don't Wanna Pray by Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros: The difference between spiritual and religious. Or, in this case, Patton wanting to be taken more seriously within the group.

6. New Soul by Yael Naim: Maybe how Patton doesn't see why Roman and Logan were previously so against befriending Virgil, but also not knowing what is going to happen next.

7. Better Together by Jack Johnson: Patton saying they should all just try to get along, saying that their bond isn't relevant to who they are.

8. Vienna by Billy Joel: Patton trying to explain that one day they all will be okay in a happy place. But he doesn't include himself fuCK-

9. It's You I Like by Ellie Schmidly: For me, it can be interpreted with any Patton ship or just platonic, but I'm guessing Virgil. Patton reminding Virgil that he cares for him as he slowly starts coming out of his shell.

10. Little Shadow by Yeah Yeah Yeahs: I think by the title you can interpret who this is about. Patton trying to guide them into the Light. Literally.

11. Sad by Alexander 23: Oh boy. When Patton starts to get depression- I mean when Patton is still trying to cheer up a side (I'm saying Virgil because it links back to 9,) but sees how struggling they are and starts wishing that he could be better, aka viewing himself as worthless.

12. Oh Heart by Tank and the Bangas: Literally 3 minutes and 54 seconds of Patton hating himself. Patton is tying to stop being viewed as a joke while simultaneously only showing that aspect of himself.

13. The Flame by Andrew Huang: Patton trying to comfort himself in silence using his own words. Ouch.

14. Landslide by Fleetwood Mac: Patton dealing with his own emotions that he hid away as he realizes everyone is improving faster than him. Possibly finally confessing that everything is not fine.

15. Float On by Ben Lee: What's that? Improvement? Patton slowly learning that it's okay to be not okay while growing with the other sides, but possibly not completely because character development is not 100% fluid? Heck yeah. (Also, cute little detail that these past three songs' pictures are all black and white, or that's just me.)

16. With a Little Help from My Friends by The Beatles: When in doubt, he has the other sides to help him get better as well as help eachother at the same time. (Another note, after the ventish other three songs, this one, when they're all together, is the first band.)

17. What Makes The World by The New Aspects: Maybe facing Dark Sides? Or Patton learning all of him? Not sure.

18. Over the Rainbow by Israel Kamakawiwoʻole: Patton dreaming of being a better person, perhaps

19. Golden Slumbers by Ben Folds: Patton comforting one side, saying it’s going to okay, and that they all accept him (cough cough VirgIL-)

20. So Long by M. Ward and Zooey Deschanel: I am scared about how sad this is. Is this foreshadowing, or just the end of a playlist. Or it could be Patton looking back and reflecting on how much all of them have bonded.

That's my rushed analysis. Probably will go deeper soon.

we know he’s a music buff and loves all music he just never got the urge to listen to broadway songs

 its date night 

and usually he’s the one who likes to plan them and surprise you since he doesnt get to see you that often but this time the tables have turned
