Are you named after anyone?  Nope, I’m the og here 

When was the last time you cried?  I don’t really cry. A few years ago, my pet lizard died...I think that was the last time 

Do you have kids?  No, and while I don’t want any right now, I think I could change my mind when I’m older—but through adoption. I’ve seen what pregnancy does and *shudders* 

Do you use sarcasm a lot?  It’s actually my mother tongue 

What’s the first thing you notice about people?  What they’re wearing and if I deem them cool based on that 

What’s your eye color?  Kinda depends on the light. My mom says they’re dark hazel; most people think they’re blue or brown. Arial says they change based on my mood, but I think she’s just pulling my leg 

Scary movies or happy endings?  Scary movies! With monsters as the villains! 

Any special talents?  I’m not the worst at drawing and I can climb just about anything 

Where were you born?  Telenar 

What are your hobbies?  Sketching, playing tackleball, rock climbing. I like to join when Arial and her mom make crafts, though I don’t think I’d do that on my own 

Have you any pets?  I have a cat and some chickens and a couple goats. The chickens and goats are more pets of the family though 

What sports do you play/have played?  I don’t really play competitively anymore; I just like to play when we go to the park, so that’s based on what everyone else is playing 

How tall are you?  Five foot, six inches (167) 

Favorite subject in school?  It wasn’t my best subject, but I liked our history classes. Our teacher was a wanderer in his younger years and learned a lot of candy recipes on his travels. He’d make the candy and sometimes bake cakes for his classes. It was the best!

I would love a plushie of Old Tom! I’m a big fan of stuffies, and Old Tom is one of my personal favorites of my own ocs, so it makes sense this is the first thing I think of lol 

A plush of Old Tom in a seated position, with his hoop earring and little stub tail and icy blue eyes. His fur is green, but so dark that it often appears black except in direct light. He could come with a little removable travel pack that straps to his shoulders! It’d be so adorable

This time I'm gonna answer for Avalanche from my unnamed WIP. Don't worry, I'll translate her doggy noises!

Are you named after anyone? No, but she does live up to her name. When she climbs on anyone to give them kisses, they often feel as though they were just thrown into a storm of white fur

When was the last time you cried? When Jimmy spilled cheese sauce on her favorite toy. She cried for hours until it was washed, dried, and returned safely to her

Do you have kids? Avalanche has no interest in having puppies of her own, but she does enjoy playing with any that she gets to visit. She's always very careful to not hurt them because she knows how tiny and fragile they are

Do you use sarcasm a lot? When she remembers to, which is usually when Jimmy annoys her enough that she wants to annoy him. She's never been sarcastic with Aaron...

What’s the first thing you notice about people? She says she always notices how wonderful they are. I'm not entirely certain what she means by that

What’s your eye color? Avalanche has blue eyes

Scary movies or happy endings? Happy endings. Scary movies give her nightmares, although she does like the excuse to snuggle and hide her face behind whoever she's watching with

Any special talents? Her genetic altering allows her to do many things that would fall under the category of "special talent" just because she's a dog, but she's very proud of learning how to cartwheel. There were many bloody noses in the process of that learning

Where were you born? She doesn't have memories from that long ago; that was before her altering, so she was born as normal as a puppy can be

What are your hobbies? In order as she lists them: Going to the park, eating pizza, eating chips, eating burritos, eating burgers (...), hiding Jimmy and Riley's things from them (Aaron finds his things too quickly so it isn't as fun), learning how to do human things like drive a car (Jimmy is teaching her, though he tells her not to let anyone else know) (author's note: there's a lot of food mentioned before we could get her back on track, so we just cut the rest of them)

Have you any pets? This isn't really applicable for her

What sports do you play/have played? She is currently working through them to find which ones are her favorite. So far she likes football, tennis, and soccer the most. Golf is very difficult for her

How tall are you? Avalanche stands about 27 inches at the shoulder

Favorite subject in school? This isn't really applicable for her

Dream job? Avalanche doesn't really want a job. She enjoys busying herself domestically

This is Luke, from my unnamed WIP

(He's usually not so annoyed, but the picrew didn't have a plain black hoodie option for him, so i gave him a lil heart on his cheek and he's not really a fan)

Three fun facts about me: 1. Luke is a prodigy in the musical field 2. Luke has one single tattoo (he wanted multiple, but only has one for Reasons™); it’s a wolf’s head, facing forward, but half the face is runes. It looks cooler than it sounds 3. Luke is very good with animals, to the point where he can befriend even skittish wildlife. He’s like a Disney princess

Favorite season: Luke is a big fan of cooler weather. He really likes fall, but he also really loves snow so it’s kinda a toss-up between the two

This is for Cadara from my Castle series

Are you named after anyone? Nope, I'm my own person! My grandmother wanted me to be named after an ancestor, but my parents worried that might put pressure on me to "live up to the name" and so they chose to let me forge my own path without the pressure

When was the last time you cried? Time is a little confusing for us right now, but ignoring the lost time, it hasn't been all that long. Just two weeks ago, my friends and I all laughed until we cried—over something that wasn't even all that funny. We just couldn't stop snorting, which is always the funniest thing in the wee morning hours. And just a couple days before that, my sister's dog had puppies and I cried over how tiny they were

Do you have kids? Not yet! I want either two or four...I'll start with two and see how that goes

Do you use sarcasm a lot? Every so often. It's like a second language around here, so it's hard to avoid picking the habit up, even if I prefer when people are genuine

What’s the first thing you notice about people? I never really thought about that. What they're doing, I suppose. If it looks like fun, I like to learn about it so I can join in

What’s your eye color? Blue. Some people say it's dark, some say it's bright, so I'm never really sure which to say. Maybe it just depends on the lighting?

Scary movies or happy endings? Happy endings all the way (author's note: if Cadara was in our universe, she would love rom-coms, sweet romances, and fluff fics. Bonus points if they're musicals)

Any special talents? I'm a pretty good cook, I play three instruments, and I've won acrobatics contests a couple times

Where were you born? In the castle, like most people here. There's only a handful who were born on the mainland and even fewer who came here from another island

What are your hobbies? Reading, taking walks, going to the theater house as a patron and as a performer, ect

Have you any pets? I've had a couple throughout my life; currently I have two cats, a small dog, and I recently received a small hamster. He was injured at the time, but he's healed well!

What sports do you play/have played? I never really played sports. Not competitively, at least. I do play in the yard or during a family visit to the gardens though

How tall are you? 5 foot, 9 inches; 175 in centimeters; 1.75 in meters

Favorite subject in school? The animal section of biology. Specifically, the part where we learned about the habits and habitats of animals. Not so much the part where we learned about their insides

Dream job? Honestly, a bakery. One that makes sweet treats for people and for their pets, too! I'm saving up to open one with a couple friends, but it's more of a long-term plan

WIP Drinking Game

Food Cereal. The man loves cereal (he has a weakness for the crunchy marshmallows in particular)

Season Aaron likes spring, when the weather is warmed up from winter but hasn’t yet hit the heat of summer. He likes the freshness in the air (he doesn’t have allergies). He likes the sense of excitement when everyone begins planning their summers. He likes the flowers blooming everywhere, the butterflies, the bees. He likes pool parties and backyard barbeques. He likes the smell of mowed lawns and the sound of his nephew’s baseball team beginning their season

Animal I don’t think Aaron has a single favorite animal. He thinks dogs are great, he thinks cats are such cool ninjas, he thinks lizards are the neatest, he thinks elephants are awesome, he thinks whales are astounding, he can’t stop grinning when he sees a funky little rodent

Pastime Puzzles. Give him a puzzle to solve and he’s wholly invested; doesn’t matter what kind. Block puzzles, jigsaws, crosswords—even the puzzles that can be found in video games. He just likes figuring things out

Theo, from fantasy series—captain of the Starweaver, Theo’s full name is Theodora, but she hates it and has made a crewman walk the plank for using it. Although they threw a rope and brought him back onboard, it sent a very clear message to the rest of the crew

Height—Theo stands at 5’9

Hair—her hair is medium-dark brown. It goes past her shoulder but not quite halfway down her back and she usually keeps it pulled back in a loose, low ponytail at the nape of her neck

General attire—she dresses very typically for a pirate. Not as fancy as most captains; it makes her look almost like one of the crew rather than the captain. Even her hat is a basic tricorn instead of anything spiffier

A little info—Theo’s father was a sailor, her mother irrelevant (she’s just not important m’kay?). When she was young, her father would take her out sailing, although her mother tried to convince her to stay on land. Obviously it didn’t work. Theo was nine when a storm destroyed her father’s ship; there was only one survivor, and Theo would’ve died with the rest of the crew had it not been for divine intervention. The sea goddess Aesinyara spared Theo and even rebuilt the ship, using the broken wreckage of her father’s ship and a little diamond to fill in the gaps and hold it all together. Wreckage for sentiment, diamond because why not?

Marrick McCaullen, from fantasy series—despite his intimidating size, Marrick isn’t a soldier. He’s a teacher, and everyone loves him (rightfully so). He is in the reserves though, to be called upon in case of emergency

Height—Marrick stands at an even 6’8

Hair—shoulder length and auburn; he has an anchor beard with a separated mustache that has pointy ends

General attire—Marrick usually wears a mix of casual and armor. There’s no armor on his legs, but he does wear a leather cuirass and vambraces

A little about—unlike most of the starting cast for Castle in the Ice, Marrick was not born on Iverness. He was instead born on the mainland, where he lived much of his life before moving to Telenar. Steadfast, noble, and possessing a dry humor, he’s been listed as a favorite character from those who’ve read the books

Luke Del Mont, from unnamed series—arguably a background character because he has no spoken lines in the entire first book

Height—Luke stands at 6’2

Hair—dark brown. Can be mistaken for black in dim lighting. Usually he keeps it shaggy-short, although further into the story, he lets it grow a little longer and his siblings decide they like it a lot and whine at him any time he considers cutting it

General attire—the same hoodie he’s worn for years and sports pants (the comfy kind with the elastic band and loose legs). On occasion, he wears black jeans, but he hates jeans

A little about—Luke is his mother and father’s firstborn, and second oldest of their “extended” family. He was four when Riley and Jimmy came into his life, eleven when Stephanie came into his life, and twelve when Jonathan came into his life. At some point in his early teens, he and Riley stopped getting along so well and started butting heads. A lot.
