Sieun hadn’t taken much interest in girls during his life. Other than the fleeting first crush he had when he was fourteen, girls had been the last thing on his mind as he focused all his energy into his grades. But there was just something about you that Sieun couldn’t ignore. Without realising it, he was falling head over heels in love with you and he didn’t even have the courage to speak a single word to you.
You sat a seat up from Sieun one row over, a spot which allowed him to admire you silently whenever he wanted (which was increasingly becoming the only thing he wanted to do). Whenever the window was open on a warmer day, the breeze would always reach your hair and blow in just the way to take Sieun’s breath away. He had become an expert at pretending to be absorbed in his notes like he always was, but his gaze always found its way to you eventually.
The first person to realise was Sooho.
“You like Y/n or something?” Sooho teased, dropping into the seat in front of Sieun, making him look up from his notes which hadn’t been added to in the past 20 minutes despite the pencil in his hand.
“Is it obvious?” Sieun said in a panicked voice, eyes glancing over the mostly empty room just to make sure no one was listening.
“Given that she has the power to take your attention away from your studies, I’d say so.” Sooho pointed out, grinning.
“What do I do?” Sieun sighed, dropping his pencil, dropping his head into his hands.
Sooho leaned back in his seat, pretending to think, “Ask her out, obviously.”
Sieun’s eyes widened, “What?”
“What?” Sooho echoed.
“I… I can’t ask her out.”
“Why not?”
Sieun flushed, “...She’s too good for me.” He mumbled.
Sooho raised his eyebrow at this, “Oh, you’re more whipped than I thought.” He gave Sieun a lopsided grin, finding the younger boy adorable. “Let me guess, you’ve never had a girlfriend before?” Sieun shook his head. “Don’t worry,” Sooho nodded as he spoke, “I can help you.”
“How?”
“Private lessons.” Sooho concluded, standing up and patting Sieun’s shoulder before walking out of the classroom. Sieun stared at him as he left, feeling the anxiety rising and he tried to gulp it back down.
//
Sieun’s first “private lesson” took place the next day. As he worked his part time job at the restaurant, Sooho gave all the advice he had to Sieun. Most of it went right over the smaller boy’s head, but he tried his best to at least write it all down on a notepad. He would need all the help he could get in order to even approach you, so he studied diligently.
“Figure out what she likes first. If she likes strawberry smoothies, buy her a strawberry smoothie. If she likes stuffed animals, buy her one. But be nonchalant about it, like you just happened to know that it was her favourite. Girls don’t like it when boys are obsessed with them.” Sooho explained as he sorted cans of soda.
“Am I too obsessed with her?” Sieun said suddenly, halting the movements of his pen.
“No, no, don’t worry about that. She’ll love you, you’re very lovable once you open up.”
“What if she doesn’t?”
“And what if she does? Stop overthinking it and write down what I say, okay?”
Sieun left that first lesson overwhelmed. He had never thought so hard about how much eye contact to make or what pick-up lines to use. He was starting to feel like maybe he couldn’t do this. You were way out of his league and didn’t even know he existed. He was stupid to even try.
When he arrived at school in the morning, his head felt as cloudy as the sky outside. It was encroaching on a darkness but still clung to the cusp of a light grey. The clouds swirled around and hid the sun, a harsh breeze shifting the leaves on the trees.
Sieun opened his backpack to get out his notebook, but his attention was immediately drawn to a small bottle of mango juice. Sooho must have stuck it in. He grabbed it and found a sticky note with unmistakably Sooho’s handwriting scrawled on it.
I heard from her friend that this is her fav— remember what I told you ;)
Sieun sighed and peeled the sticky note off of the bottle, recalling all the steps Sooho had meticulously given him the previous day. Act cool, don’t try too hard, don’t act interested at first, etc.
Sieun busied himself with studying for the next hour, waiting for when you arrived to class so he could give you the juice. You walked in with a boy beside you and Sieun’s heart sunk. His eyes flickered between you and the boy who was clearly clinging to your side. Sieun thought that maybe you looked uncomfortable, but he didn’t know for sure. He just forced himself to look down at his paper, missing the way you instinctively looked at him, a mixture of disappointment in your face.
Sooho offered Sieun a ride home after school, eager to know if he had successfully made a move on you. “Did she like the juice?” Sooho asked brightly, passing Sieun the motorcycle helmet.
The other boy was silent as he put it on, still processing his disappointed emotions. Why did it make him feel like he was about to explode seeing someone else so close to you?
With the long pause, Sooho was quick to pick up on what had happened, “Don’t tell me you didn’t give it to her?” Sieun nodded quietly, affirming Sooho’s suspicions before sitting down on the motorcycle without another word. Sooho sighed and joined him, turning on the engine with a loud rev and entering the lane on the road.
//
You had known Sooho since your 5th birthday. He was that one kid who no one really knew why they were invited to the party, but ended up being the star anyway. He had caked you in the face on your 7th birthday as a prank, and now it was a tradition at every birthday.
No one was really aware of how close you two were, since you didn’t spend much time talking at school. Sooho was always sleeping and you were always spending way too much time being distracted by the most beautiful eyes- studying. You were studying.
It had been months of your studying being rudely distracted by this… certain someone, and your grades were realistically suffering because of it. You needed to do something about it, and luckily for you, Sooho was friends with this boy. It was like the stars had aligned.
“Sooho!” You sat down loudly at the desk in front of the sleeping boy, earning a tired groan as the boy attempted to wake up from his slumber.
“What?” He rubbed his eye lazily, waiting for you to bring up what was so important as to interrupt his precious sleep.
“I need to confess or else my grades will crash and burn.” You said dramatically, much to the confusion of the boy in front of you.
“Who are you confessing to?” He asked groggily but a bit more alert than before, thoughts of Sieun’s failed confession running through his brain immediately. What if you liked someone completely different? Should Sooho still encourage Sieun to confess to you?
“Sieun…” You muttered weakly.
“What?” Sooho’s eyes brightened when you repeated Sieun’s name in clarification. “I have a plan.”
Sooho’s plan was the most absurd thing you had ever heard. How the heck was randomly showing up to Sieun’s apartment going to achieve anything? What did he expect you two to do? Eat dinner?
Sooho had dropped you off 30 seconds ago and sped off on his motorcycle before you could figure out exactly where you were and bombard him with questions. He didn’t give you any instructions, any pointers. All he said was that Sieun had something to drink. You were confused and a little annoyed and scared. You would probably embarrass yourself in front of Sieun and then that would be the end of it. You wouldn’t have the courage to even look at the boy ever again.
You hesitantly knocked on the door since Sooho had threatened you in case you chose to run away instead of doing anything. As the door opened, you were faced with the pair of eyes that you expected. You watched as shock flickered over them.
You could practically melt right then and there just from looking at him. You had never actually seen him in clothes other than his school uniform, and while he looked good in it, he looked infinitely better in this; a soft crew neck and sweatpants. You could only imagine how comfortable it would be to hug him or even cuddle-
Your thoughts were shut down when Sieun spoke, a little timidly, “Do you want to come in?” His voice was soft like it always was. He never really talked much. Even when answering questions in class, he spoke in as few words as possible. You couldn’t lie, you found it endearing.
You nodded and walked through the door, finding the apartment unsurprisingly clean. You took off your shoes, staying in just your socks. Sieun tried to look for a spare pair of slippers to give you, but the only pair was his dad’s which were comically too big for you.
You gave up the search and walked to the couch to sit down. You could feel this warm feeling in the air, like some simmering tension. It wasn’t uncomfortable, in fact, it gave you the slight sensation of butterflies in your stomach.
Sieun sat next to you on the couch but not too close and you were both silent. You weren’t sure what to say or where to start. You had asked Sooho for help with confessing, but it would seem too abrupt to start with that. You wanted to warm up to Sieun first, though you weren’t sure how long you could wait before the words fell out of your mouth.
“Do you want a drink?” Sieun asked and you smiled. So Sooho wasn’t lying with that part.
“What are the options?”
“Uh…” He dropped his head, thinking for a second before running to the small fridge and pulling out a bottle of mango juice, “You like this… right?”
You nodded, “Yeah, I do.”
Sieun’s lips turned up into the cutest smile you had ever seen in your entire life. You felt like you were floating on clouds from the elated feeling. You made him smile.
Once you had received a glass of mango juice, the conversation started flowing a bit easier. You talked about school and hobbies and your favourite foods. Though Sieun didn’t say much, you could tell he was always listening to what you were saying. That was a bit unusual to you. You were always used to being ignored or thought of as obnoxious when you talked, so you rarely felt comfortable saying what you wanted to. With Sieun, however, you felt like you could say anything and he would listen.
It was late in the night and Sieun was preparing a small dinner for you both. He had been overwhelmingly kind and considerate that you felt your will to not confess being slowly withered away. You were about to crack, you could feel it. As soon as he did one more thing to make your heart flutter, you would have to spill it otherwise you were sure you would explode.
Your resolve was finally broken while you were eating. You were sitting across from Sieun on the floor, food spread out as best as Sieun could make it. You had a small bit of sauce on the corner of your lip, and before you could notice yourself, Sieun had leaned across the table and wiped it off gently with his thumb.
Your cheeks flushed pink at the touch. You were lucky you didn’t have any food in your mouth otherwise you would’ve probably choked. You were stunned, staring at the boy in front of you. And then he smiled as if he was shy but happy to help. You could see his ears had turned pink at the tips, and then finally your mouth was spitting out words before your brain could catch up.
“I like you, Sieun.”
//
“I’m nervous I’ll do it wrong.” Sieun whispered, head dropped to look at the floor. You could see his cheeks a bright red and you were sure that your boyfriend was the cutest thing this world had ever created.
“You won’t be able to mess up cuddling, I promise.” You reassured him.
“But I’ve never done it before… What if-”
“You’ve hugged me before.” You cut him off. He nodded. He had hugged you, many many times. He wanted to hug you right now. “It’ll just be like a prolonged hug… except more relaxed.” You understood how the thought of cuddling could feel daunting for him. He had been touch-starved his entire life. “I’ll show you how it works, but… you need to come here first.” You giggled and patted the spot next to you on the bed.
Sieun’s face flushed more and he joined you carefully, scooting next to you. You grabbed his wrist and tugged him even closer to you, “It’s hard to cuddle when there's a gap between us.” You explained with a smile.
You decided it would be best to make the first move, so you wrapped your arms around his waist and rested your cheek on his chest. He was even more comfortable than you could’ve imagined, and you wondered why you hadn’t done this before. He smelled clean and calming, your nerves instantly becoming soothed by being so close to him.
He had tensed up at first, not sure how to respond and hyper aware of how fast his heart was beating. You were so pretty and the fact that you were hugging him so closely? Sieun would probably never recover. He figured that wrapping his arm around your shoulder would be natural, and he soon discovered that the position was 10 times more comfortable that way as you snuggled even closer to him.
“Your heart is beating so fast… Nervous?” You mumbled, peering up at him with a small teasing smile.
“Yeah…”
“Me too.” You whispered, a smile growing as you could feel both your hearts beating at the same fast rate.
Sieun was an excellent cuddler, he just didn’t realise it. He naturally started rubbing your arm in a soothing way until his hand travelled up to your hair and started playing with it. You were sure you would become addicted to cuddling him after this. Maybe you would ask him to cuddle with you everyday…
“Can I kiss you?” You asked suddenly. Sieun’s hand stopped playing with your hair.
“I… I’ve never-”
“I know. Me neither.” You said shyly, “It just… seemed like the right moment, but if you don’t-”
“I do. I really really do.” He said firmly and smiled a little. Your heart was already melted from the cuddles, but it was as good as evaporated at the sight of his smile.
“Okay.” You cupped his cheek cautiously before leaning in, not quite touching his lips, waiting for him to lean in as well. He pressed his lips to yours softly, timidly moving them in case you were uncomfortable or he was doing it wrong.
Sieun was an excellent kisser as well.

a soft sigh escapes you as you shift to sit up a little straighter in your chair. you sleepily blink a few times in an attempt to wake yourself up as you continue reviewing your notes. your hand aches from hours of diligent notetaking and your neck burns from how long you’ve been hunched over.
sieun pauses momentarily, eyes shifting from his textbook to look at you before he continues. you rub a hand against the back of your neck as your pencil rolls to the side. you stretch your arms out before crossing them to create a makeshift pillow; leaning your head against your forearms.
“you shouldn’t lay like that,” sieun comments. his hand never stops writing and his eyes remain fixated on his still-open textbook, but his attention is completely on you. “it’s bad for your neck. at least bring a pillow or something next time.”
you resist the urge to complain as you push your notes away and lean back against your chair. your attention shifts from sieun’s barren dining room to the boy himself. his fringe perfectly frames his face as he continues scribbling down notes. his shoulders are hunched over similarly to yours, though he looks far less tense than you feel.
you reach over, carefully taking sieun’s hand into yours. he stops writing entirely when he feels your fingers trailing against his own. your nails gently scratch against his skin as you lift his left hand up, pressing fleeting kisses against each of his fingertips.
a deep blush begins to creep up his neck and across his face. sieun’s face burns at how nonchalant you are as you continue to play with his hand. you absentmindedly trace small shapes against the back of his hand as you shift to lean your head against his shoulder. your hair tickles against the exposed skin of his neck as you adjust your position next to him.
you intertwine your fingers together before resting your hand against the table, letting your eyes flutter closed as you relax against sieun. his lips just barely quirk upwards into a soft smile as he looks down at you. he watches for a few seconds as your breathing slowly evens out as he quickly scribbles down the rest of his notes before finally closing his textbook.
sieun carefully reaches down to put his notes away before pushing his backpack aside. he glances down at your still-sleeping figure for a final time as he reaches over to gently shake you awake.
you sleepily blink up at him when you finally awake, momentarily letting go to rub the tiredness out of your eyes. “sieun? what time is it?”
”it’s late,” he says as he pushes his chair back to stand up before gesturing for you to follow after him. “come on.” his arm lazily rests around your waist as you follow his lead, letting him guide you into his bedroom.
sieun reaches over to turn a lamp on his bedside table on, casting a golden glow across the room. a small desk sits in the corner surrounded by various notes and study guides taped onto the drywall. sheer, white curtains hang over the window, just exposing a small sliver of the dark night outside.
you slide underneath the blankets beside sieun, rolling to lay on your side to face him. he props his head up with a pillow as he shuffles closer to you. his bed had never seemed so small before.
you softly smile at him, moving even closer until your arm rests gingerly against his waist. sieun awkwardly tucks your head beneath his chin as a content sigh escapes you. he remains wide awake despite the dark room; the only noise is your slow breathing as you slowly begin to fall into a deep sleep.
“y/n?” he whispers into the quiet. you don’t react, giving him the confidence to continue. “i think… i’m in love with you.” sieun immediately tenses as the words leave his lips. though he’s only talking to the moonlight, he can’t help the unfamiliarity in each of your loving gestures.
“you’re so handsome, and kind… you’re everything i’ve ever wanted in a boyfriend. even when i didn’t know i wanted anything.” he pauses, hesitantly pulling you closer. “i just… i love you.”
sieun’s heart beats erratically in his chest when you stir slightly, moving ever so closer to him. he can just barely make out the soft smile tugging at your lips. “i love you too,” you murmur.
he freezes, tensing up even more. “you’re awake?”
“it’s a little hard not to be when you’re so stiff,” you tease, pulling back just enough to look up at him. “feels like laying against a door.” sieun’s blush deepens as you reach up, resting a gentle hand against his cheek. you stroke your thumb against his soft skin with a soft smile. “can i kiss you?”
sieun’s breath hitches in his throat momentarily. his face burns as he hesitantly nods. you smile as you slowly lean in to gently pull him into a sweet kiss.

Summary:
“Wake up, please.”
Sieun’s fingers twist in the sheets holding fast, wishing Suho would wake up right now with a smile on his face and call him an idiot for crying over his body.
He would even take a long healthy scolding for choosing violence rather than the self-preservation he was taught so insistently, anything is better than the deafening silence suffocating the room- only interrupted occasionally by his own fitful crying.
It takes him a long time to notice the monitors steady beeping in the background is elevating.

are you okay?
kdrama!sieun yeon x reader
// park jihoon as sieun yeon !
tags: reader comforts sieun, very light angst on the beginning, ends in fluff <3
“you’ve been ignoring me the entire week, sieun. im not dumb,” you followed him as he walked with long strides. he continued to ignore you, slightly shaking his head and sighing.
“no i haven’t, [name]. i’ve just been busy lately.” he took another glance at the phone he’s been constantly looking at since you caught up with him. you frowned in frustration and grabbed his shoulder, spinning him around to face you. “sieun. are you okay?” you gesticulated to emphasize your concern, “please. is something wrong? what’s going on with you?”
he stared at you for several seconds, seemingly contemplating whether or not to tell the truth. finally, he nodded, his eyes meeting the ground- “im fine.” he turned around, going to keep walking to wherever he was going.
you’re tired of this treatment- he’s obviously not fine. sure he was blunt and un-affectionate sometimes, but he always meant well. he never meant to hurt you, and he would always apologize if he noticed he did.. but, he doesn’t apologize anymore. does he not care? “sieun!” he stopped in his tracks again, not bothering to turn around. “stop lying to me! i know you’re not okay. i know you’re not fine! you keep writing me off, you never talk to me anymore, what’s going on!? why are you acting like this suddenly?” you walk up to him in a last ditch effort to get through to him. “please sieun, what’s wrong?”
you watch his back as he stands there for a second, then turns around, tears streaming down his face as he finally meets your eyes. “sieun,” you say his name softly as you envelope him in a hug, his body shaking as he cried. he doesn’t hug you back- but he does place a hand on your lower back in an attempt to reciprocate your affection. you’ve never seen him cry before, and you feel honored he’d share an emotion like this with you. you both stand there for a minute, and sieun feels relieved for the first time in a long, long while.
his breathing slows, and he is the first to pull away. “thanks.” he wipes his eyes with his sleeve, and you grab his hands, intertwining your fingers. “i love you, okay?” you softly smile at him, and watch as he nods, eyes finally meeting yours. you don’t notice the very light shade of pink on the tips of his ears.
“now, where are you in such a rush to?”

Pairing: MX’s Hyunwoo x OC [Chaewon] || MX’s Hyungwon x OC [Siyeon] Genre: slice of life, slight fluff Word Count: 2,470 Summary: Siyeon and Chaewon have plans to go to a friend’s engagement party. Siyeon find out that Chaewon had invited two plus ones on the day of the event.
Warning: none
oh hello! back with another story, but not of NCT, dunno when that’ll be added lol, anyways this one was part of a series, but i just took one of it’s chapter and revised it as a oneshot and changed some things around. i’m happy with this and hope y’all enjoy reading this as much as i’ve revised it lol but yeah, i think there will be a part two i just don’t know when it’ll be up. other than that happy reading and kthxbai, Admin Lia~
"Ugh, I hate dressing up." Siyeon muttered to herself as she spritz a bit of perfume all over herself before exiting her room.
Her sister, Chaewon, was already dressed and waiting in the living room. Chaewon gave her sister a once over with an impressed look.
"I'm surprised you had that in your closet."
"I know. I bought it a while back, but never actually used it."
Siyeon tentatively touched the dress she wore.
"Does it look okay?"
"Twirl around." Chaewon ordered while twirling her index finger to indicate her sister to do the same.
Siyeon rolled her eyes, but nevertheless twirled. Chaewon nodded in approval.
"Not bad. Yonghee's gonna be so surprised."
"I know, but compare to you I won't stand out too much."
Chaewon also spun around with her dress twirling around her.
"Not too much for the future bride. It's still her moment."
"True."
Siyeon then sighed.
"I dunno if I'm gonna last in these heels."
"Wear flats." Chaewon suggested.
"None match this dress."
"Sucks to be you."
"Jerk."
"Anyways," Chaewon checked herself out once again the living room's wall mirror, "I thought Yonghee wasn't going to have an engagement party though?"
"She didn't." Siyeon answered also doing the same thing as Chaewon. "Yongin's parents insisted and so we're going as Yonghee's family since you know her whole family history and such."
"Yeah, but I'm surprised it's not a traditional style though."
"I think they're doing the westernized version to keep it simple while they'll do the whole traditional one for real later on."
"I would, too. I'm just happy to know that life is blessing her."
"Me, too. Anyways, let me change out of the heels first."
It actually took a while as Siyeon contemplated whether to changed out of her heels or not and ended up going in the heels much to Chaewon's annoyance.
"Let's go." Chaewon urged.
"Okay, okay."
Siyeon had opened the main door and immediately closed after seeing their significant others on the other side.
"This can't be real." She muttered to herself as Chaewon's brows furrowed.
"What can't be real?"
Siyeon turned to face her sister.
"Um, Hyunwoo and Hyungwon are here."
Serena cast her sister a confused look.
"And I don't know why."
"Just open the door, Yeon." Chaewon ordered with a firm tone despite her facial expression seeming like she did know why they were there.
"I understand that your boyfriend stopped by, but not sure why Hyungwon would come over."
"Hyungwon is your boyfriend, too."
"It's complicated, Won. There's no real label to our relationship."
"I know."
Chaewon cast her sister a smirk as Siyeon shot her a pointed look.
"You told them, didn't you?"
"Maybe?" Chaewon answered nonchalantly.
"Why?"
Siyeon whined as Chaewon rolled her eyes.
"Just open the door or we're gonna be late and that's a bad impression for Yonghee's sake."
Siyeon groaned a bit childishly, but reluctantly opened the door with a feign smile.
"Hi."
Siyeon actually took in account of their attire and knew that Chaewon had definitely told them about Yonghee's engagement party.
"Hi, babe!' Chaewon greeted Hyunwoo happily.
"Wonnie, you look beautiful."
Hyunwoo complimented his girlfriend as the pair leaned towards one another to share a kiss before hooking arms and walking out first towards the elevator leaving the other pair behind.
"This brat." Siyeon muttered as she closed the door.
Hyungwon's small cough got her attention.
"Yes?"
Siyeon looked at Hyungwon.
"The color compliments you." Hyungwon complimented as Siyeon suddenly turned shy.
"Uh, thank you. You're pretty dashing yourself."
"I know."
Siyeon rolled her eyes in good-nature.
"Anyways," Hyungwon trailed off as he pointed at his cheek expectantly while giving her a teasing look.
Siyeon eyed him before swiftly planting a small peck and rushing off to catch up with the others. Hyungwon chuckled, but nevertheless followed after and caught up to Siyeon with his hand easily slipping into hers.
"Wow, you look so beautiful in your engagement dress, Yonghee." Chaewon complimented her friend as she hugged her.
The trio were finally able to talk just the three of them once things settled down after all the whole announcements and both sides meeting one another.
"Yeah. I believe this is the most girliest I've ever seen you dressed up so far, Yonghee." Siyeon cooed with happiness as she hugged her friend as well. "And that you're really getting married."
Yonghee laughed as she hugged her friends.
"Thanks and I know right. But look at you, Siyeon. You're just as girly as me."
Siyeon scoffed.
"You're just lucky that it's a special occasion."
"Thank you so much, but I still feel like it's still all a dream to be honest."
"Well, it's a dream come true and we're all happy for you." Chaewon stated with a smile.
"Yeah, just wish my side were just as supportive as you two."
Yonghee slightly frowned, but Siyeon disagreed.
"Hey, Yongin's parents love you and they'll also be your family, too. Your own happiness matters before others."
"True. Anyways," Yonghee slyly cast Siyeon a look, "I heard you're getting hitched next, yeah?"
"What? Not even. Who told you that?"
Siyeon shot her sister a disbelief look before returning her attention onto her friend.
"Chaewon's the one that's gonna get married before me."
"True, I do want to get married, but it'll happen if it happens."
Chaewon shrugged nonchalantly as Yonghee chuckled.
"I mean, Hyunwoo seems like a dependable guy and the two of you seem quite serious."
"Yeah, well, we've only been dating for two years."
"But known one another for at least six years though." Siyeon interjected.
"Yeah, but you and Hyungwon are the same, just there's no label." Chaewon countered with a smirk.
"I agree." Yonghee laughed. "I mean, I know you, Siyeon, and you can't say that he doesn't matter to you."
"Whatever."
Chaewon and Yonghee laughed just as Hyunwoo came by.
"Hello, ladies." He greeted the trio while placing an arm around Chaewon's waist.
"Hello." Yonghee greeted the male.
"Sorry to interrupt, but Chaewon and I have plans we need to get going."
"Ah, right. I forgot." Chaewon said as she remembered. "Sorry."
"It's all good, Chaewon. Thank you for coming. To you as well, Hyunwoo."
"Thank you, Yonghee, and congratulations once again."
Yonghee and Siyeon watched as the pair walked off. Yonghee then nudged Siyeon playfully.
"Where's your lovely date?"
"I have no idea."
When Hyunwoo appeared, Sieun expected Hyungwon to follow after, but didn't and looked around to search for him although he wasn't in sight.
"I'm sure he'll stop by soon. I noticed you were looking for him."
Yonghee chuckled as Siyeon denied that she was looking for him.
"I wasn't. I was just stretching my neck."
"Right."
Now it was Yongin who stopped by and greeted the two.
"Hello, ladies."
"Hello, Yongin." Siyeon greeted back.
"My parents would like Yonghee to meet some other relatives and so I have to interrupt your get-together."
"I didn't realize your side had so many." Yonghee joked as Yongin chuckled.
"Neither did I."
"It's all good. Have fun you two."
Yonghee made a face yet an evident smile graced it as they bid one another goodbyes. Siyeon watched their figures in admiration of how much they truly loved and cared for one another.
"A lovely pair, aren't they?"
A male suddenly spoke next to her and she turned to see who it was, but didn't recognize the guy.
"Um, yes, they are." She replied out of politeness. "Do you know Yongin or Yonghee?"
"Yongin."
He smiled at Siyeon, but the smile didn't quite match his eyes.
"And how about you?"
"Both, but I've known Yonghee longer."
"I see."
He sheepishly laughed as he shot her a sheepish look.
"Oh, where are my manners? I forgot to introduce myself. I'm Kim Sungjoo."
He offered his hand for Siyeon to shake to which she did out of polite mannerism.
"Lee Siyeon."
After she introduced herself did she quickly pulled her hand from out of his grip when he unexpectedly kissed the top part of her hand while trying not to make a face at the action he just did.
"My apologies. A gentleman's habit."
Sungjoo smiled apologetically, but Siyeon just faked smile not believing him.
"Ah, I see."
Siyeon tried to refrain from wiping the back of her hand against her dress.
"So, Siyeon, are you here alone?"
He continued conversing with her like they were now familiar with one another.
"I have my car on hand if you wanna ditched this place."
"No thanks."
She shook her head with mild disgust.
"Aww, don't be like that. I know this great restaurant in Gangnam and I'm sure you'll lo-"
"I'm pretty sure she said 'no thanks'." Hyungwon interrupted Sungjoo in a firm tone as he stood beside Siyeon.
He placed a comforting hand at the small of her back.
"And she's with me, Sungjoo."
"Ah, Hyungwon. Hello."
Sungjoo greeted him with a mocking-like tone with a click of his tongue.
"You're not with Heeyoon?"
"No. I'm happily with Siyeon now."
Siyeon stayed silent not wanting to intervene nor caring how the two knew one another, but was grateful for Hyungwon's arrival. Although her heart did slightly flutter upon hearing the last part.
"That's too bad. I thought the two you would continued with your on and off relationship."
Sungjoo cast Siyeon a look.
"But Siyeon is a great catch."
He was about to skim his fingers against Siyeon's arm, but she instantly moved her arm from out of his reach.
"Yeah, no. I don't think so."
Sungjoo's jaws tightened upon the rejection, but remained cool.
"I'm sure I can change your mind, Siyeon. If you give me the chance."
Hyungwon was about to tell Sungjoo to back off, but Siyeon beat him to it.
"Like I said before, no thanks. Now if you'll excuse us, my boyfriend and I have somewhere else to be."
Siyeon put emphasis on the boyfriend part as she locked arms with Hyungwon and maneuvered themselves in the opposite direction leaving the other male to glare after them before storming off in another direction. Siyeon glanced back, saw that Sungjoo was no where in sight, and let out a relieved breath. She also let go of Hyungwon's arm, but Hyungwon lacked their fingers instead this time around.
"What are you doing?" She asked while giving him a look.
"Holding my girlfriend's hand because she let go of my arm."
He grinned while speaking in an obvious tone.
"Since when was I your girlfriend?"
"Since you called me your boyfriend a moment ago."
"There's no label, remember?"
"I don't recall."
Siyeon grew a bit flustered, but tried to remain cool.
"Well, anyways, you heard wrong."
Siyeon tried to free her hand, but Hyungwon firmly held on.
"No, I heard it right and I actually have a place in mind that we can go to."
"Why?"
"Because you're the one that said that we had somewhere else to be."
Siyeon scoffed.
"I only said that to get that idiot to back off."
"Either way, we're still going."
Hyungwon cast her a grin before leading them out of the venue.
Hyunwoo and Chaewon were at the N Seoul Tower at the Locks of Love while deciding what to write on their padded locks.
"Hey, what if we break up after all?" Chaewon mused as Hyunwoo glared at her.
"Don't say that."
"I mean, we can still be friends afterwards."
"Then did that mean you never really loved me?"
"Um, do you wanna find out?"
Hyunwoo grumbled as Chaewon laughed softly while playfully shoulder bumping him.
"Why are you so adorable?"
"And why do you like being a tease?"
Chaewon chuckled softly before placing a kiss on her boyfriend's cheek.
"Because you're cute."
Hyunwoo rolled his eyes, but nevertheless he felt giddy about the whole exchange as she scribbled a message onto his lock with Chaewon doing the same. Soon they interlocked their locks with the others and admired the sight with their own hands interlocked.
"So, a year from now we'll come back to read them?" Hyunwoo asked a moment later.
"No."
Hyunwoo eyed his girlfriend as Chaewon chuckled before answering.
"They'll probably be more covering them by then is what I was getting at."
"Oh."
Chaewon cast a smile at her boyfriend.
"But I'm sure we'll still be together even if we don't see our locks by then."
Hyunwoo smiled and nodded in agreement.
"By the way," Hyunwoo spoke as the pair left the area, "Were you able to take the seventeenth through the twenty-first off?"
"Oh, for your birthday weekend?"
Hyunwoo nodded a bit sheepishly.
"I already did, but just have to add in the extra two days."
"Thank you."
"You're welcome."
The couple shared a kiss.
"Now, it's just a manner of how to explain to Siyeon that it's not technically a girls' trip that weekend anymore and for her to add the extra days."
Hyunwoo chuckled with a shake of his head.
"You really loving messing with her, don't you?"
"Mmhmm."
They shared another kiss as they later explored the rest of N Seoul Tower for the remainder of their date.
"The mosabuka for the gentleman."
The cafe owner of Cafe Saru placed the drink in front of Hyungwon before setting Siyeon's items before her.
"And the lady a scarlet and a milk tea."
"Thank you!" Siyeon thanked the barista.
"Oh, and one more thing."
Siyeon was confused until she saw the male hand her a canola flower.
"Thanks for stopping by Cafe Saru."
"Ah, you're welcome, and thank you."
Siyeon took the offered yellow flower as the owner smiled before walking back to attend to the other customers. Siyeon admired the flower as Hyungwon admire the woman before him while sipping his mosabuka.
"So," Hyungwon began.
"Hmm?"
Siyeon hummed as she placed the canola flower aside and took a sip of her milk tea.
"Are you free next month between the seventeenth to the twenty-first?"
"Um, no. Chaewon and I have plans to go to Jeju that weekend with our other two friends. Why?"
"No reason really. Thought we could go on a trip together and get a little closer and work on our label better."
Siyeon eyed him as a playful expression graced his face.
"Why the sudden interest?"
Hyungwon rolled his eyes, but remained calm as a ghost of a smile lingered upon his lips.
"No reason really."
Siyeon scoffed.
"Yeah, right, but anyways, like I said I already have something planned those days."
There was a brief moment of silence before Siyeon suggested something else.
"Um, maybe we can try another time when I have more free time."
"Sounds good."
Siyeon missed the ways Hyungwon's lips quirked up as he drank his mosabuka while her focus went onto the drinks and flower before her.

FAVOURITE genre ➳ fluff. warnings ➳ crying. spoilers for weak hero class 1 ep 4. pairing ➳ jihoon x reader. wc ➳ 783. a/n ➳ i was rewatching this scene and it really does always make me cry and then i thought of this fic idea 😭
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Your snack bowl had been discarded and you didn’t even remember the last time you had blinked. Your eyes were glued to the screen of your laptop like some kind of hypnosis was occurring. The small teddy bear that your boyfriend had won at an amusement park for you a month ago was clutched tightly in your arms, serving its role as emotional support quite well.
You were in awe at how thrilling the scenes of the drama were. And, though violent, it was quite beautiful the way the fight scenes were choreographed and executed. You had visited Jihoon on set a lot while he filmed, but you never could tell quite how the end result would turn out. The final released version of Weak Hero Class 1 did not disappoint, though.
You were on episode 4 already even though you had only started earlier this evening. You only took one break to get more snacks and emotional supports (your blanket and the teddy bear). The show was already pulling at your heartstrings— or maybe it was your boyfriend’s phenomenal acting.
The episode was nearing the end and Sooho, Youngyi, and Sieun were in the hospital after the fight with Gilsoo and his gang. An adoring frown etched on your face at the sweet scene. Sieun was very different in character to Jihoon, but there were similarities you could spot and it made your heart warm.
[ What’s your deal? ]
[ What? ]
[ I mean, you… You’re so warm-hearted. Your eyes, how you behave, how you speak, and your face. It feels awfully strange. ]
Tears welled in your eyes, finally escaping and cascading down your cheek as Sieun smiled. The first time he ever smiled. You sniffed and pressed the back button to replay the scene, too immersed in it to hear the sound of the door opening in the background.
And you were still crying on the couch by the time your boyfriend walked into the living room. The episode had finished and the computer screen was black. Jihoon was confused— you had sounded happy and excited just a couple hours ago when you texted him and said you were going to watch the drama, so why were you sad now?
“What’s up?” He asked, moving your empty snack bowl to make a spot on the couch for him. You tried to wipe your tears and turn to him, but one look at your boyfriend and all you saw was Sieun, triggering even more tears.
Jihoon panicked. “Baby, what’s wrong?” He pulled you closer, holding you in his arms and scanning your body to make sure you hadn’t hurt yourself physically.
You tried to form a coherent thought to answer his question, muffling a response into his shirt, “He’s just…”
Jihoon furrowed his eyebrows, “He’s just what?”
“He’s just… so… cute.” You sobbed, hugging Jihoon tighter.
“What? Who’s cute?”
You paused, a smile slipping onto your lips as you caught a hint of jealousy in his voice. You waited until he nagged you again about who this guy you thought was cute was before you finally told him.
“You’re crying because of Sieun?” He questioned curiously.
“He smiled, Jihoon.” You told him again, this time with even more emotion.
“I know. I acted out that scene.” Jihoon said helplessly. You weren’t crying anymore and his earlier panic had subsided, but instead he was left confused as to why that particular scene had left you in such a state.
“I wanna hug him.” You frowned, replaying the scene again.
Jihoon stayed silent at your comment, not bothering to bring up the fact that you kinda were hugging Sieun right now, since Jihoon was Sieun. But he just smiled and pulled you a little closer to his chest.
“Baby.” He mumbled softly.
“Hm?”
“Am I your favourite actor?”
You sat up slightly, pulling away so you could actually look at your boyfriend’s face. “No, I think I like Hyunwook more.” You deadpanned.
Jihoon frowned, “But you were even crying over me. You haven’t cried over Hyunwook.”
“Who says I haven’t?”
Jihoon whined in protest at your teasing and you giggled and snuggled closer to him again.
“Isn’t it a bit too violent for you to be watching, though?” He whispered.
You frowned, “You expect me to not watch something my favourite actor is a lead in?”
“Are you sure I’m not your favourite actor?”
“Favourite singer? Probably. Favourite boyfriend? Definitely.”
“I’m your only boyfriend-”
You shushed him with a laugh, “But favourite actor? There’s some competition. But, hey, at least you won the other two categories!”
“I’m your favourite actor.” He muttered as if to convince himself of the fact and kissed your temple.
“Whatever you say.”

Please I need Yeon sieun dating head canons.
Tumblr media
pairing: kdrama!sieun x gn!reader (they/them pronouns) genre: fluff word count: 1.7k
warnings: mentions of parental neglect/bullying
includes: reader is booksmart/likes studying, post layout is kinda messy oops, this is my first attempt at writing hcs pls, i am begging for sieun x male reader reqs
a/n: i don't write hcs but i had a few ideas for this so i did my best lol thank you for requesting !! i hope you like it :))
Tumblr media
⋆。°✩ first meeting
— he’s SO awkward when you first meet
— probably ignores you at first lmao
— sieun doesn’t care much about his peers/other classmates but you catch his eye because of your intelligence
— he still focus more on his studies tho
sieun sits at his usual seat in class, hunched over his desk as he reviews his notes for an upcoming english exam. his hand hovers just above the paper as he skims through the words and makes small mental notes about which parts to continue practicing.
the sudden halted chatter from his classmates catches sieun’s attention. he glances up briefly, setting his pencil aside when he notices his teacher standing in her usual position at the front of the classroom. beside her is an unfamiliar teenager wearing a thin black jacket draped over the school’s button up.
“class,” the teacher begins, gesturing to you. “this is y/n. they’re a new student here.”
“hello,” you say, bowing to the class.
“there’s an open spot next to sieun,” she says, gently pushing you towards him. “you can sit there for now.”
sieun lets out a small sigh in annoyance as you shuffle over before sliding into the seat beside him. the mindless chatter of your classmates resumes as the door closes, signaling your teacher’s exit. he reaches over to grab his earbuds once again, reaching up to place one into his ear when a voice interrupts him. “number four is wrong.”
sieun stops in his tracks, glaring in your direction. you had also pulled out a notebook, filled with your own scribbled notes and miscellaneous doodles decorating the corners. “it’s a dependant clause, not independent,” you elaborate before turning back to your own notes.
despite his better judgment, sieun backtracks to question four. he scoffs slightly when he rereads the question again. you were right.
“thanks,” he mumbles.
you simply smile, waving him off with the slight shake of your head. “anytime.”
Tumblr media
⋆。°✩ first date
— you have to ask him out. he will never make the first move
— needs a lot of reassurance. this is his first relationship and he likes you a lot. he doesn’t wanna mess it up. bare with him
— probably started off as a study hangout and turned into a study date ngl
you flip your pen between your fingers as you watch sieun continue to scribble down notes. his apartment remains silent except for the occasional noise of either of you flipping through your textbooks or the incessant noise of sieun’s pencil against the page.
you set your own pencil aside, ignoring your notes in favour of admiring the boy in front of you. sieun’s fringe is just barely short enough to avoid falling into his eyes. his eyebrows furrow every now and then as his eyes rapidly switch between his notebook and the textbook laid out beside him. his teeth catch his bottom lip between them - a particularly attractive habit you had noticed over the months of getting to know each other.
siuen pauses when he notices your lack of writing, glancing up at you momentarily. you can’t help the soft smile that spreads across your face when you notice his cheeks heating up slightly.
“you’re staring,” he says.
“i’m admiring,” you tease. sieun’s writing pauses for a second before resuming, though his blush has spread fully across his face, tinting the skin a light pink.
a tranquil silence falls over the room once again. it feels so intimate - sitting with sieun in his quiet apartment. your little quirks have made their way into his life despite your young age. a new pair of slides sits at the door, awaiting your arrival. the front pouch of sieun’s backpack has been cleaned out of the usual pencils and highlighters in favour of snacks and packets of gum for you to take at your convenience. he no longer reaches for his left earbud; the small device being reserved for you.
your feelings for sieun jumble together in a mess of half-finished love letters and detailed confessions deeply confined to your mind. after spending over a month suppressing the urge to tell him, you finally can’t help yourself anymore.
“sieun,” you reach out to take his hand into yours. you smile as he intertwines your fingers together. he stops his studying to look up at you - something he’s never done for anyone else. “i like you.”
his eyes widen in surprise. your breath hitches in your throat and your body tenses. it feels like hours of waiting for his reaction before he finally speaks.
“i like you too.”
a bright smile spreads across your face, making sieun’s lips quirk upwards into a soft smile of his own. “will you be mine?”
“only if you’ll be mine too,” he smiles as he squeezes your still-intertwined hands.
Tumblr media
⋆。°✩ first kiss
— “i don’t know what to do with my hands”
— has never been kissed before slkdnsl
— probably doesn’t kiss back at first but he’ll get the hang of it
— more of a peck than an actual kiss tbh
— it takes a lot of trust and vulnerability to get to this point with siuen. he’s not used to feeling love or affection so kisses mean a lot to you
you sigh to yourself, dramatically stretching before a yawn escapes you. the noise catches sieun’s attention, making him pause momentarily as he watches you attempt to blink some of the sleepiness out of your eyes. “you should get some rest,” he says.
you glance at your textbook once more before nodding with another small sigh. “so should you. you’ve been working for even longer than i have.”
“i’m fine.” the words escape sieun’s lips almost instinctively as he continues his studying. you resist the urge to roll your eyes, closing your textbook and shoving it into your backpack in preparation for school the next day.
“sieun…” you circle around the dining room table so you’re standing behind your boyfriend. you lean down to gently rest your hands on his shoulders, gently massaging the tense muscles. a small sigh of content escapes him as you lean down to press a chaste kiss against his cheek. “you’re exhausted. come on, let’s go to bed.”
sieun finally relents after a few more seconds, letting his own pencil fall to the side before he stands up. your arm snakes around his waist as you help him tidy up; rhythmically packing up his pencils into the case and sliding each textbook back into its rightful place inside of his bag.
you set your backpacks beside each other as you guide sieun towards his bedroom. his bed remains in the corner, still perfectly tidied from his morning routine.
sieun climbs into bed first, sliding underneath the covers before you join him. his arm finds its familiar home around your waist to keep your body closely against his. you bring your hand up to cup sieun’s cheek, brushing your thumb against his soft skin. he smiles as your fingers trail down his face to trace along his jawline before they finally settle underneath his chin.
sieun’s breath hitches when you brush your thumb against his plump bottom lip. he’s grateful for the darkness covers the blush burning on his cheeks. your voice is quiet when you break the silence. “sieun,” you whisper.
“what is it?”
“can i kiss you?”
his body tenses beside you before he forces himself to relax. sieun can feel his heart beating erratically in his chest. “i’ve… never kissed anybody before.”
“it’s okay.” even in the moonlight he can see you softly smiling at him. “we can take it slow, okay? i won’t do anything you’re not comfortable with.”
he knows. sieun has never felt safe with anyone like he does with you. but he nods nevertheless. “please kiss me,” he whispers.
your hand moves from his chin to cup his cheek once again. after a few seconds you finally lean in, gently pressing your lips against his in a sweet kiss.
sieun brings his own hand up to your cheek, hesitantly leaning in and replicating your movements. this one lasts much longer than the first. you can nearly feel all of the love being poured into it.
you both smile when you finally pull away, pressing a final peck against his lips. you lean in closer, nuzzling your face into the crook of sieun’s neck. you press a chaste kiss against the exposed skin of his neck as you let out a small content sigh, finally letting your eyes flutter closed as you begin to fall asleep. “i love you,” you whisper.
sieun presses a kiss against your forehead. “i love you too.”
Tumblr media
⋆。°✩ general dating hcs
— not a huge fan of pda. he doesn’t like the attention and would rather keep your moments together private
— not very touchy but he likes when you hold his hand/intertwine your arms together (especially if it’s an unconscious thing)
— SO PROTECTIVE. sieun is 100% willing to throw himself between you and any bullies
— his kisses are short and sweet. kiss him as a reward for a good grade or reassurance and his face will light up
— sometimes if he’s feeling extra confident he’ll kiss you in public
— has moments of insecurity pretty often. siuen was neglected as a kid and bullied as a teenager. he needs to know that you love and care about him for him and not out of sympathy
— he needs reminders to eat/sleep/drink water. falls a little more in love every time you do little things for him
— his love languages are quality time/acts of service. quietly studying together until you get up to make him some food as he reviews your notes for you are some of his fav moments with you
— gets clingy when he’s tired. pull him away from his studying, help him wash up, kiss his forehead, and pull him into your arms and he will MELT
— also pls pls pls play with his hair he’ll fall asleep immediately

RESERVED
genre. fluff. a bit of angst(?). mention of friends to lovers. warnings. brief mention of injuries. pairing. sieun x fem!reader. wc. 1.1k. request. no. a/n. i've only watched 2 ep of whc1 but sieun is my baby so i needed to write for him 😭
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
You knew your boyfriend was trying to hide what was happening at school. You could see that he was stressed from how reserved he had been recently. He didn’t want to dump his problems on you, but not knowing exactly how he kept popping up with new cuts and scrapes or why he seemed so out of it was concerning. No matter how many times he passed it off as injuries from PE, you knew the boys at his school were jerks, and you knew in the back of your head how he kept getting injured, but you didn’t want to acknowledge it.
He hadn’t responded to your texts from this morning which was your last push to come over and check on him whether or not he wanted you to. He wasn’t home when you opened the door and you sighed, dropping your backpack on the couch and brushing off your school uniform a bit. You checked the fridge for things to cook, but of course, there was practically nothing. Microwave meals were plentiful and the odd non-perishables could be found in the cupboard, but there was no real food.
Given the empty state of the apartment, you figured he probably wouldn’t come home that soon. You should have time to rush out to the store and get enough veggies to make a spicy soup— Sieun’s favourite. You smiled, selecting the best looking produce and greeting the older ladies in the store politely.
You set some music on and started to get to work chopping the onion and celery. You had spent years in this apartment even before you started dating Sieun. His father was friends with your father, and until recently, you used to live next door. You remembered all the times that Sieun had helped you study or kept you company when you were going through a hard time. Everything had been strictly “just friends” back then.
You probably would still be friends if you hadn’t been bold that one night. Or maybe it was you being sleepy. Or both. It had been New Year’s Eve and you were staying up while Sieun studied. You tried to get his attention away from his laptop and notes, but you had been unsuccessful until you eventually fell asleep. Sieun had woken you up at 11:58, right before the turnover, knowing you would be upset if you had missed it.
When the clock struck midnight, it was like an instinct to pull your friend in for a kiss, and luckily, he reciprocated. He confessed he had harboured a crush on you since 7th grade. You had never seen him happier than back then.
You still made him smile more than anyone else, or you liked to think that. The way his face brightened when you came over was almost addictive. You wanted to see him smile brightly every day, and you savoured every time you were able to make him happy.
You got out your notebook and started to study while the soup simmered on the unused stove. You really needed to pester Sieun about healthy eating habits and remind him that those boxed meals didn’t hold much nutritional value compared to a home cooked meal.
The turn of the doorknob and the soft click made you look up from your pages filled with diagrams, formulas, and scribbled notes. Sieun froze when he saw you and you didn’t miss the way his Adam's apple ducked down in a gulp. He felt nervous.
“Hey,” You offered him a smile, one that you knew he would have trouble reciprocating.
“Hey,” He mumbled back, pulling his backpack off his shoulders slowly, setting it down on the floor with a thud. “I didn’t know you were… coming over.”
“I texted you.” You said awkwardly, hoping Sieun didn’t blame himself for not seeing it.
“Oh.” You saw the panic flash over his eyes slightly before they returned normal and you frowned. It was silent for a moment and you silently prayed that tonight would be relaxing for your boyfriend and not stressful.
“I should… go study.” He coughed out to break the silence.
“Sieun, wait-” You called out softly, hesitating a bit as soon as the words left your mouth. He turned around, waiting for you to talk. You were suddenly flooded with just how much you missed him. You couldn’t remember the last time you had hugged him, let alone kiss him. Neither of you needed a lot of physical touch in a relationship, and you knew better than anyone what was comfortable for Sieun. But it had been weeks, and you felt as if you didn’t hug him right now, you might combust.
“I don’t mean to be… annoying, or keep you from studying… but it’s been so long. And… I miss you? Even though you’re right here in front of me, I really… really miss you. I just thought, maybe… tonight we could…” You trailed off, finding it hard to choke out the words in the first place while he stared at you, listening intently.
“I’m sorry.” He murmured softly, wrapping his arms around you awkwardly. You felt relieved to be in his arms again and your arms circled his waist securely. “I missed you too.” He whispered so softly that you were sure he half didn’t want you to hear it.
You smiled, resting your head against his chest, so close that you could hear his heart thumping steadily. When you pulled out of the hug, his cheeks were pink and you laughed, only making them turn a brighter shade.
“Stop,” He mumbled shyly, and you felt like you fell in love with him all over again. Your body acted faster than your brain as you pulled him closer again, this time pressing your lips to his softly, sighing contentedly when he kissed you back.
You didn’t have to convince Sieun to stay by your side instead of studying. He spent the rest of the night with you, eating two bowls of your warm soup and thanking you over and over again. You knew that he was referencing more than just the dinner that you had made when he said it. You all but dragged him to the couch once you had both eaten, settling down and wrapping your arms around him again. He held all the comfort in the world to you, and if you could stay in his arms forever, you would.

Can you do a sieun x tall himbo male reader
Maybe where sieun is teaching reader a math problem but reader is distracted or where reader is clumsy all the time and bumps into doors bc of how tall he is?
Tumblr media
pairing: sieun x male!reader (no pronouns used) genre: fluff word count: 635
includes: established relationship, kinda mixed these ideas together lol, reader is taller than sieun, wrote this over a few days and didn't proofread it so maybe not the most cohesive fic i've made lol
a/n: thank you for requesting !! i hope you like it :))
feedback is always appreciated <33
Tumblr media
your eyes flutter closed as you lean your head down against your folded arms, zoning out the lecture from your math teacher in favour of getting a few more minutes of sleep. you can all but feel sieun’s eyes on you as his glare burns a hole into your head.
you startle awake when the bell rings, announcing the end of your class. you stifle a yawn as you quickly shove your books into your backpack before making your way over to sieun’s desk. you softly smile down at him as he tugs his own bag over his shoulders.
“ready?”
sieun simply nods, silently reaching over to take your hand into his. he subtly tugs you away from the side of the door before your shoulder hits the metal frame.
you absentmindedly swing your intertwined hands as you follow sieun down the steps of the school and up to his apartment. “you really should pay attention in class,” he says as he momentarily lets go to unlock his front door.
you let out a small hum in response. sieun watches as you kick your shoes off and slip your feet into a special pair of slides he had bought shortly after you started dating. “why would i? you’re my favourite teacher anyway.”
sieun’s face flushes slightly when you lean down to press a quick kiss against his forehead before you make yourself comfortable at his dining table. he sits across from you at the table as you pull out your textbooks and worksheets.
hours pass by with nothing but the occasional noise of a page being flipped or sieun’s pencil scratching against his notebook. you lean back in your chair to stretch out your sore muscles. you flip through the last remaining pages filled with problems; a soft huff escapes you at the seemingly never ending list.
you cover your face with your hand as yet another yawn escapes you. you rest your head against your hand; your tired eyes drifting from the pages of practice problems up to your boyfriend instead. your lips quirk into a soft smile as you observe each of his delicate features: his full cheeks; the way his eyes light up whenever he solves a new problem; his chapped lips and the way he occasionally bites them whenever he gets stuck.
sieun glances up at you with slightly furrowed eyebrows at the prolonged silence. “y/n?” he whispers.
“hm?”
“...did you hear me?”
“sorry,” you chuckle, shaking your head slightly. “i was distracted by seeing the most handsome boy i’ve ever seen in front of me.”
sieun’s face flushes a deep red. he lets out a nervous chuckle as he glances back down at his textbook to gather his composure before looking back up at you. “tired?”
“exhausted,” you hum. you rub the tiredness out of your eyes once again.
sieun closes his notebook, reaching over to grab your hand as he stands up. “come on, then,” he says. you furrow your eyebrows slightly but follow him nonetheless, letting him guide you into his bedroom.
inside is a small room with a bed sitting in the corner and a desk pushed up against the adjacent wall. various notes and passages have been taped up to the wall. sheer, white curtains delicately hang over the only window in the room.
sieun guides you over to his bed to sit beside him. you silently follow his lead as you lay down beside him underneath the covers. you curl up beside his body as best as you can despite the small space, letting out a content sigh as he gently rubs a hand against your back to soothe you. “i love you, sieun,” you whisper.
he softly smiles before leaning down to press a kiss against your forehead. “get some rest, y/n.”

“sieun,” you smile, gently knocking your shoulder into his as a form of greeting.
“y/n,” he greets curtly in response as you continue to follow him through the somewhat crowded hallway. sieun glances down momentarily when your hand brushes against his. an unfamiliar feeling of love and warmth crawls through him at the simple gesture despite affection only becoming more commonplace the longer your relationship continues on.
the heavy doors of byeoksan high school slam shut behind you as you continue to follow behind sieun. despite his seeming apathy, you know he appreciates the company.
your footsteps remain in sync as sieun silently passes an earbud to you before a familiar melody reaches your ears. “your place?”
his only response comes in the form of a short hum in agreement. trees shade the path ahead as you make your way to the bus stop; waiting in silence together for a few minutes. you softly smile when sieun reaches over, intertwining your fingers together.
the duration of the bus ride and subsequent walk up to his apartment is spent in a comforting silence; besides the quiet music playing from sieun’s earbud still securely resting in your ear. his hand doesn’t leave yours until he reaches up to unlock the door.
you slip off your shoes as soon as you walk inside, following the same routine you’ve had since sieun first agreed to begin studying with you: slip on your designated pair of slides, study with sieun for a few hours, eventually grow tired enough to force him to eat something, and end the day by falling asleep together curled up on the couch; savoring each moment of peace before you’re forced to get up again and repeat the process the next day.
you join sieun at his dining room table as he takes a textbook out of his bag. you slide into the chair across from him, pulling out your own work before handing the earbud back to him.
the next hour is spent in a comfortable silence; the only sounds audible in sieun’s small apartment are the occasional frustrated sigh that escapes your lips and the rhythmic noise of his pencil scribbling against his notebook paper.
you find yourself occasionally losing interest in your homework, instead passing the time by admiring your adoring boyfriend. it isn’t long before your staring catches sieun’s attention. his eyes widen and a small blush spreads up his neck to the tips of his ears, making you chuckle.
“sieun,” you smile.
“y/n.” he refuses to glance up at you in fear of more teasing, though his efforts do little to prevent you from abandoning your assignment in favor of your boyfriend. you set your pencil aside as you reach over, brushing a stray strand of his fringe back into place. sieun’s blush deepens, now spreading across his cheeks to dust his face a light pink. wide eyes meet yours for a few more seconds before he looks back down at the open textbook in front of him. “you should get back to work.”
you stand up, walking around to sieun’s side of the table. he watches with wide eyes as you gently push his chair back before settling yourself in his lap. your knees rest on either side of his hips as your arms reach around his neck. “i could,” you murmur, leaning in closer to him. “but this is way more fun.”
you can nearly feel the heat radiating from sieun’s cheeks as you pull him into a sweet kiss. he hesitantly moves a hand up to brush a strand of hair out of your face before it finally settles on your cheek. you smile against his lips as sieun lets himself momentarily forget about his work; instead pulling you in for another, and another, and another.
