“sieun,” you smile, gently knocking your shoulder into his as a form of greeting.
“y/n,” he greets curtly in response as you continue to follow him through the somewhat crowded hallway. sieun glances down momentarily when your hand brushes against his. an unfamiliar feeling of love and warmth crawls through him at the simple gesture despite affection only becoming more commonplace the longer your relationship continues on.
the heavy doors of byeoksan high school slam shut behind you as you continue to follow behind sieun. despite his seeming apathy, you know he appreciates the company.
your footsteps remain in sync as sieun silently passes an earbud to you before a familiar melody reaches your ears. “your place?”
his only response comes in the form of a short hum in agreement. trees shade the path ahead as you make your way to the bus stop; waiting in silence together for a few minutes. you softly smile when sieun reaches over, intertwining your fingers together.
the duration of the bus ride and subsequent walk up to his apartment is spent in a comforting silence; besides the quiet music playing from sieun’s earbud still securely resting in your ear. his hand doesn’t leave yours until he reaches up to unlock the door.
you slip off your shoes as soon as you walk inside, following the same routine you’ve had since sieun first agreed to begin studying with you: slip on your designated pair of slides, study with sieun for a few hours, eventually grow tired enough to force him to eat something, and end the day by falling asleep together curled up on the couch; savoring each moment of peace before you’re forced to get up again and repeat the process the next day.
you join sieun at his dining room table as he takes a textbook out of his bag. you slide into the chair across from him, pulling out your own work before handing the earbud back to him.
the next hour is spent in a comfortable silence; the only sounds audible in sieun’s small apartment are the occasional frustrated sigh that escapes your lips and the rhythmic noise of his pencil scribbling against his notebook paper.
you find yourself occasionally losing interest in your homework, instead passing the time by admiring your adoring boyfriend. it isn’t long before your staring catches sieun’s attention. his eyes widen and a small blush spreads up his neck to the tips of his ears, making you chuckle.
“sieun,” you smile.
“y/n.” he refuses to glance up at you in fear of more teasing, though his efforts do little to prevent you from abandoning your assignment in favor of your boyfriend. you set your pencil aside as you reach over, brushing a stray strand of his fringe back into place. sieun’s blush deepens, now spreading across his cheeks to dust his face a light pink. wide eyes meet yours for a few more seconds before he looks back down at the open textbook in front of him. “you should get back to work.”
you stand up, walking around to sieun’s side of the table. he watches with wide eyes as you gently push his chair back before settling yourself in his lap. your knees rest on either side of his hips as your arms reach around his neck. “i could,” you murmur, leaning in closer to him. “but this is way more fun.”
you can nearly feel the heat radiating from sieun’s cheeks as you pull him into a sweet kiss. he hesitantly moves a hand up to brush a strand of hair out of your face before it finally settles on your cheek. you smile against his lips as sieun lets himself momentarily forget about his work; instead pulling you in for another, and another, and another.

kdrama! sieun x reader

note: this is just fluff LMFAO. i barely edited this sorry for any mistakes... hope u enjoy <3
you're out of sieun's comfort zone.
obviously, he isn't someone who received much, or any affection past the age of six, and he's grown to keep his hands (and words) to himself.
you'd both been talking for almost a year, and you grew feelings for him after only a few months. he understood you, and never pressured you into anything. he gave you great advice and would encourage you when you felt you weren't at your best. he's seen you at your worst and he barely batted an eye, opting to help you take your mind off things by walking you through what he was studying, helping you calm down in the process. after realizing that, certain things.. changed.
what was supposed to be a quick and friendly high-five was just that; but your hand would linger just for a second more than you used to. playfully swinging your arm around his shoulder as the two of you were walking turned into you using that gesture as a reason to pull him closer, your hold gradually lowering down, down to his waist. even simply standing next to each other turned into a game of "will they, won't they?" as you stood uncomfortably close for friends, but too far away for lovers. little touches would linger for too long, and the atmosphere between you two slowly changed.
that being said, it wasn't a shock to his system when you asked him out. you knew he wouldn't make the first move, so you did. he agreed, of course!
right now, the two of you were walking back to your home, hands dangling dangerously close to each other. even though you've been dating for a while now, you barely knew whether or not he was comfortable with it. he hadn't explicitly told you he wanted you to hold his hand, and you didn't want to push any boundaries.
you both walked while engaging in conversation (one more than the other), and your hands continuously bumped into each other, and every time you restrained the urge to tightly hold his palm in yours, feeling the warmth of his soft hand.
you finally reached your house and let him in, shutting the door behind you. slipping off your shoes and in your slippers, sieun followed suit, following you all the way to the dining table. the two of you brought out your materials in preparation for a study session, comfortable silence following suit. well, in the outside world. in sieun's head, however, that was not the case.
he doesn't know how to tell you, and he wishes he could everytime he sees your face: he wanted to hug you without feeling awkward, he wanted to compliment you when he felt like it, and he wanted you to be able to hold his cheeks without you sensing his unfamiliarity with the gesture and pulling away in fear of making him uncomfortable. he wanted you to touch him however you wanted, but he didn’t know how to express it to you. he felt very conflicted in the sense.
"sieun? could you help me with.. this?" your voice trailed off as you looked to your left to find him staring at his paper, not making a move to pick up his pen. "are you okay?"
he nodded and leaned over slightly, explaining how to work through the problem. you thanked him and started working again, occasionally glancing over at his blank page. he wondered, would you mind if he told you he wanted to hold your hand? would you be annoyed with him if he asked you to hold him, maybe scoot your chair a little closer so his heart could be closer to yours? he knew you wouldn't, but he was still hesitant to ask you anyway. his brain was buzzing with so many thoughts that he couldn't even comprehend nor focus on what was in front of him.
an hour went by and he barely made any progress, which was incredibly unusual for him. you asked him twice more if he was okay and he responded with "yes," everytime, but it didn't cure the worry brewing in your stomach. "let's take a break," you stood up and stretched, noticing how he didn’t move an inch. “um.. are you sure you’re okay, sieun?” as you spoke, the feelings he’d been bottling up finally exploded. “you’ve been acting weird since we got here.. are you uncom-“
"can we hold hands?" he asked quietly. you looked at him in shock, and even he was surprised at the words that left his mouth. your surprise didn't last long though, soon a smile crept onto your lips as you looked at him, heart beating, mood elated. "yeah," you tried to not make a big deal out of it, but you couldn't stop the butterflies that swarmed in your tummy. he stood up and looked down, lacing his fingers with yours, and he finally felt satisfied. "you don't have to ask.. you can hold my hand whenever you feel like it, okay?" you said, looking at him with a flustered smile before tugging his hand, "let's gets some snacks!"
even though it was a struggle with only one hand, it was worth it if the other was taken by you.

Sieun hadn’t taken much interest in girls during his life. Other than the fleeting first crush he had when he was fourteen, girls had been the last thing on his mind as he focused all his energy into his grades. But there was just something about you that Sieun couldn’t ignore. Without realising it, he was falling head over heels in love with you and he didn’t even have the courage to speak a single word to you.
You sat a seat up from Sieun one row over, a spot which allowed him to admire you silently whenever he wanted (which was increasingly becoming the only thing he wanted to do). Whenever the window was open on a warmer day, the breeze would always reach your hair and blow in just the way to take Sieun’s breath away. He had become an expert at pretending to be absorbed in his notes like he always was, but his gaze always found its way to you eventually.
The first person to realise was Sooho.
“You like Y/n or something?” Sooho teased, dropping into the seat in front of Sieun, making him look up from his notes which hadn’t been added to in the past 20 minutes despite the pencil in his hand.
“Is it obvious?” Sieun said in a panicked voice, eyes glancing over the mostly empty room just to make sure no one was listening.
“Given that she has the power to take your attention away from your studies, I’d say so.” Sooho pointed out, grinning.
“What do I do?” Sieun sighed, dropping his pencil, dropping his head into his hands.
Sooho leaned back in his seat, pretending to think, “Ask her out, obviously.”
Sieun’s eyes widened, “What?”
“What?” Sooho echoed.
“I… I can’t ask her out.”
“Why not?”
Sieun flushed, “...She’s too good for me.” He mumbled.
Sooho raised his eyebrow at this, “Oh, you’re more whipped than I thought.” He gave Sieun a lopsided grin, finding the younger boy adorable. “Let me guess, you’ve never had a girlfriend before?” Sieun shook his head. “Don’t worry,” Sooho nodded as he spoke, “I can help you.”
“How?”
“Private lessons.” Sooho concluded, standing up and patting Sieun’s shoulder before walking out of the classroom. Sieun stared at him as he left, feeling the anxiety rising and he tried to gulp it back down.
//
Sieun’s first “private lesson” took place the next day. As he worked his part time job at the restaurant, Sooho gave all the advice he had to Sieun. Most of it went right over the smaller boy’s head, but he tried his best to at least write it all down on a notepad. He would need all the help he could get in order to even approach you, so he studied diligently.
“Figure out what she likes first. If she likes strawberry smoothies, buy her a strawberry smoothie. If she likes stuffed animals, buy her one. But be nonchalant about it, like you just happened to know that it was her favourite. Girls don’t like it when boys are obsessed with them.” Sooho explained as he sorted cans of soda.
“Am I too obsessed with her?” Sieun said suddenly, halting the movements of his pen.
“No, no, don’t worry about that. She’ll love you, you’re very lovable once you open up.”
“What if she doesn’t?”
“And what if she does? Stop overthinking it and write down what I say, okay?”
Sieun left that first lesson overwhelmed. He had never thought so hard about how much eye contact to make or what pick-up lines to use. He was starting to feel like maybe he couldn’t do this. You were way out of his league and didn’t even know he existed. He was stupid to even try.
When he arrived at school in the morning, his head felt as cloudy as the sky outside. It was encroaching on a darkness but still clung to the cusp of a light grey. The clouds swirled around and hid the sun, a harsh breeze shifting the leaves on the trees.
Sieun opened his backpack to get out his notebook, but his attention was immediately drawn to a small bottle of mango juice. Sooho must have stuck it in. He grabbed it and found a sticky note with unmistakably Sooho’s handwriting scrawled on it.
I heard from her friend that this is her fav— remember what I told you ;)
Sieun sighed and peeled the sticky note off of the bottle, recalling all the steps Sooho had meticulously given him the previous day. Act cool, don’t try too hard, don’t act interested at first, etc.
Sieun busied himself with studying for the next hour, waiting for when you arrived to class so he could give you the juice. You walked in with a boy beside you and Sieun’s heart sunk. His eyes flickered between you and the boy who was clearly clinging to your side. Sieun thought that maybe you looked uncomfortable, but he didn’t know for sure. He just forced himself to look down at his paper, missing the way you instinctively looked at him, a mixture of disappointment in your face.
Sooho offered Sieun a ride home after school, eager to know if he had successfully made a move on you. “Did she like the juice?” Sooho asked brightly, passing Sieun the motorcycle helmet.
The other boy was silent as he put it on, still processing his disappointed emotions. Why did it make him feel like he was about to explode seeing someone else so close to you?
With the long pause, Sooho was quick to pick up on what had happened, “Don’t tell me you didn’t give it to her?” Sieun nodded quietly, affirming Sooho’s suspicions before sitting down on the motorcycle without another word. Sooho sighed and joined him, turning on the engine with a loud rev and entering the lane on the road.
//
You had known Sooho since your 5th birthday. He was that one kid who no one really knew why they were invited to the party, but ended up being the star anyway. He had caked you in the face on your 7th birthday as a prank, and now it was a tradition at every birthday.
No one was really aware of how close you two were, since you didn’t spend much time talking at school. Sooho was always sleeping and you were always spending way too much time being distracted by the most beautiful eyes- studying. You were studying.
It had been months of your studying being rudely distracted by this… certain someone, and your grades were realistically suffering because of it. You needed to do something about it, and luckily for you, Sooho was friends with this boy. It was like the stars had aligned.
“Sooho!” You sat down loudly at the desk in front of the sleeping boy, earning a tired groan as the boy attempted to wake up from his slumber.
“What?” He rubbed his eye lazily, waiting for you to bring up what was so important as to interrupt his precious sleep.
“I need to confess or else my grades will crash and burn.” You said dramatically, much to the confusion of the boy in front of you.
“Who are you confessing to?” He asked groggily but a bit more alert than before, thoughts of Sieun’s failed confession running through his brain immediately. What if you liked someone completely different? Should Sooho still encourage Sieun to confess to you?
“Sieun…” You muttered weakly.
“What?” Sooho’s eyes brightened when you repeated Sieun’s name in clarification. “I have a plan.”
Sooho’s plan was the most absurd thing you had ever heard. How the heck was randomly showing up to Sieun’s apartment going to achieve anything? What did he expect you two to do? Eat dinner?
Sooho had dropped you off 30 seconds ago and sped off on his motorcycle before you could figure out exactly where you were and bombard him with questions. He didn’t give you any instructions, any pointers. All he said was that Sieun had something to drink. You were confused and a little annoyed and scared. You would probably embarrass yourself in front of Sieun and then that would be the end of it. You wouldn’t have the courage to even look at the boy ever again.
You hesitantly knocked on the door since Sooho had threatened you in case you chose to run away instead of doing anything. As the door opened, you were faced with the pair of eyes that you expected. You watched as shock flickered over them.
You could practically melt right then and there just from looking at him. You had never actually seen him in clothes other than his school uniform, and while he looked good in it, he looked infinitely better in this; a soft crew neck and sweatpants. You could only imagine how comfortable it would be to hug him or even cuddle-
Your thoughts were shut down when Sieun spoke, a little timidly, “Do you want to come in?” His voice was soft like it always was. He never really talked much. Even when answering questions in class, he spoke in as few words as possible. You couldn’t lie, you found it endearing.
You nodded and walked through the door, finding the apartment unsurprisingly clean. You took off your shoes, staying in just your socks. Sieun tried to look for a spare pair of slippers to give you, but the only pair was his dad’s which were comically too big for you.
You gave up the search and walked to the couch to sit down. You could feel this warm feeling in the air, like some simmering tension. It wasn’t uncomfortable, in fact, it gave you the slight sensation of butterflies in your stomach.
Sieun sat next to you on the couch but not too close and you were both silent. You weren’t sure what to say or where to start. You had asked Sooho for help with confessing, but it would seem too abrupt to start with that. You wanted to warm up to Sieun first, though you weren’t sure how long you could wait before the words fell out of your mouth.
“Do you want a drink?” Sieun asked and you smiled. So Sooho wasn’t lying with that part.
“What are the options?”
“Uh…” He dropped his head, thinking for a second before running to the small fridge and pulling out a bottle of mango juice, “You like this… right?”
You nodded, “Yeah, I do.”
Sieun’s lips turned up into the cutest smile you had ever seen in your entire life. You felt like you were floating on clouds from the elated feeling. You made him smile.
Once you had received a glass of mango juice, the conversation started flowing a bit easier. You talked about school and hobbies and your favourite foods. Though Sieun didn’t say much, you could tell he was always listening to what you were saying. That was a bit unusual to you. You were always used to being ignored or thought of as obnoxious when you talked, so you rarely felt comfortable saying what you wanted to. With Sieun, however, you felt like you could say anything and he would listen.
It was late in the night and Sieun was preparing a small dinner for you both. He had been overwhelmingly kind and considerate that you felt your will to not confess being slowly withered away. You were about to crack, you could feel it. As soon as he did one more thing to make your heart flutter, you would have to spill it otherwise you were sure you would explode.
Your resolve was finally broken while you were eating. You were sitting across from Sieun on the floor, food spread out as best as Sieun could make it. You had a small bit of sauce on the corner of your lip, and before you could notice yourself, Sieun had leaned across the table and wiped it off gently with his thumb.
Your cheeks flushed pink at the touch. You were lucky you didn’t have any food in your mouth otherwise you would’ve probably choked. You were stunned, staring at the boy in front of you. And then he smiled as if he was shy but happy to help. You could see his ears had turned pink at the tips, and then finally your mouth was spitting out words before your brain could catch up.
“I like you, Sieun.”
//
“I’m nervous I’ll do it wrong.” Sieun whispered, head dropped to look at the floor. You could see his cheeks a bright red and you were sure that your boyfriend was the cutest thing this world had ever created.
“You won’t be able to mess up cuddling, I promise.” You reassured him.
“But I’ve never done it before… What if-”
“You’ve hugged me before.” You cut him off. He nodded. He had hugged you, many many times. He wanted to hug you right now. “It’ll just be like a prolonged hug… except more relaxed.” You understood how the thought of cuddling could feel daunting for him. He had been touch-starved his entire life. “I’ll show you how it works, but… you need to come here first.” You giggled and patted the spot next to you on the bed.
Sieun’s face flushed more and he joined you carefully, scooting next to you. You grabbed his wrist and tugged him even closer to you, “It’s hard to cuddle when there's a gap between us.” You explained with a smile.
You decided it would be best to make the first move, so you wrapped your arms around his waist and rested your cheek on his chest. He was even more comfortable than you could’ve imagined, and you wondered why you hadn’t done this before. He smelled clean and calming, your nerves instantly becoming soothed by being so close to him.
He had tensed up at first, not sure how to respond and hyper aware of how fast his heart was beating. You were so pretty and the fact that you were hugging him so closely? Sieun would probably never recover. He figured that wrapping his arm around your shoulder would be natural, and he soon discovered that the position was 10 times more comfortable that way as you snuggled even closer to him.
“Your heart is beating so fast… Nervous?” You mumbled, peering up at him with a small teasing smile.
“Yeah…”
“Me too.” You whispered, a smile growing as you could feel both your hearts beating at the same fast rate.
Sieun was an excellent cuddler, he just didn’t realise it. He naturally started rubbing your arm in a soothing way until his hand travelled up to your hair and started playing with it. You were sure you would become addicted to cuddling him after this. Maybe you would ask him to cuddle with you everyday…
“Can I kiss you?” You asked suddenly. Sieun’s hand stopped playing with your hair.
“I… I’ve never-”
“I know. Me neither.” You said shyly, “It just… seemed like the right moment, but if you don’t-”
“I do. I really really do.” He said firmly and smiled a little. Your heart was already melted from the cuddles, but it was as good as evaporated at the sight of his smile.
“Okay.” You cupped his cheek cautiously before leaning in, not quite touching his lips, waiting for him to lean in as well. He pressed his lips to yours softly, timidly moving them in case you were uncomfortable or he was doing it wrong.
Sieun was an excellent kisser as well.

rival | yeon sieun
warning : death
Tumblr media
Yeon Sieun wasn't just a schoolmate. You wouldn't have considered him a friend or someone you hate. The two of you acknowledged each others existence, knowing that the other person existed simply because of one piece of paper that was pasted on the signboard of Byuksan Middle School's notice board every few months.
"First : Yeon Sieun," That was what the board would read every month from the first year of school, but somehow by the third test of the fourth year, yeon sieun's name was not first.
"Did you hear? Yeon sieun got knocked off first place!" Students began gossiping as yeon sieun stood in front of the noticeboard, face blank, but his eyes showed anger.
To say he was angry would be an understatement. He aas furious, his heart pumped faster and he could hear ringing in his ears as he walked back to his seat, acting as he would on a normal day as the students in the class looked at him, muttering and whispering to each other.
"Congratulations! I can't believe you did so well for the mock exams! You'll definitely ace the exams by CSAT year!" The sound of female students congratulations caught Sieun's attention as he raised his head to look at the window in the corridor.
You were walking with four other female students, a large smile plastered onto your face as you shook your head at your friends' words, shy from their compliments.
For the first time in a long time, Sieun felt the feeling of inferiority creeping up his neck like a silent monster. His grip on his pen became tighter as his eyes were glued onto the notebook in front of him, not wanting to think about the result slip on the noticeboard.
"Sieun," You called out his name as you held your tray of food. The boy looked up from his English textbook as he looked at you, his earpieces still in his ears as you exhaled, feeling the awkwardness creeping up your arms.
"Could I sit here? I wanted to talk to you about certain subjects because I'm still not at my best," You asked until you realised that he was ignoring you, eyes glued back onto the text on the book in front of his face as you sighed, turning to walk back to the table with your friends.
That was over a year ago, and by the actual examination, sieun was back on top, with you being in second. That didn't bother you. You weren't aiming for the top, just high enough to get into a good school later on in life.
By the last year of school, the teachers saw that both of you were high academic achievers, which led to their decision to make both of you seatmates.
The air was tense at first. You never knew if you should talk to him or wait for him to start a conversation. You chose the latter, thinking back on your only other encounter with him the previous year.
Over the course of half a year, you were still struggling with Additional Mathematics, and you could never really understand it. You would've asked your classmates but only one other student took Additional Mathematics with you, and that was, lo and behold, Yeon Sieun.
It was break time, and on a usual day, you would've been at the snack bar with your friends deciding what to eat, but today wasn't the case. You had to figure out how to do the hard questions before the exams, and you were still struggling. The teacher was no help, simply telling you to check with Sieun. If you could, you would've.
"The shoelace method."
You lifted your head up from the paper as you turned to see sieun still writing in his notebook, despite you having just heard his voice.
"The shoelace method...?" You questioned him again as he turned to you, his face with his signature cold look, but he was offering help, who were you to reject that?
Sieun adjusted his seat as he moved slightly closer to your table, his chair slanted in your direction.
"I assume you already know the formula?" Sieun asked, not looking at you as his head was tilted slightly, reading the question carefully as he clicked his pen, writing down in blue ink as he explained.
"Take the points in the anti-clockwise direction. The first point chosen must be repeated..." Sieun explained as he wrote down the formula and numbers for the polygon.
You should have been focused, but somehow... having yeon sieun so closd to you made your heart jump. You gulped as you blinked, hard, focusing on the problem at hand.
"You can use the numbers in the motion of a shoelace, x1 with y2, so on and so forth, and eventually, you'll get this answer," Sieun wrote down the final answer as you looked at him, feeling starstruck.
Everyone knew he was smart, but getting to experience his academic ability first-hand made you feel a newfound respect for him. He knew his work, and he made sure he did.
That single event with both of you led to a more comfortable atmosphere as the days passed. Sieun didn't act like you didn't exist, and you could talk to him easily, most of the time.
A simple 'good morning sieun' and a nod back was a more usual occurrence between the both of you and the teachers were more than elated by that.
On that particular day, you didn't seem yourself, even sieun could see it. You didn't speak nor look at anyone in the class as yoj entered, head hanging low as you sat in your seat. You took out your books and placed them on the table, placing your head on them as you closed your eyes, feeling the lack of sleep beginning to seep in.
Your situation at home led to your current state, but you couldn't tell anyone. It's normal academic pressure, it was nothing to worry about ; you chose to believe it. Your grades were beginning to slip, slowly like a snake creeping up with its venom. Your parents weren't happy, a screaming match ensued the moment you arrived home at the start of the week and it was already Friday. You were exhausted. Emotionally and physically, you were done.
"Wake up. The teacher's here," Sieun muttered as he tapped on your shoulder, causing you to flinch as you woke up from your five minutes of sleep.
"I'll be announcing the winner of the additional mathematical olympiad competition that was held recently," The homeroom teacher spoke, but you were to busy beginning to doze off as the teacher's sudden mention of your name caused you to wake up once again.
"Congratulations, this prize is awarded to this student for achieving first place in the additional mathematics olympiad." The teacher announced as you stood up, walking to the teacher to receive the certificate, before plopping down on your seat once again.
"Yeon Sieun, second place," The teacher announced as loud gasps were heard around the room.
You opened your eyes as you saw Sieun at the front of the class, taking the certificate half-heartedly as he gave you the same glare he had given you a year ago, over the mock exam results.
"Now, now, settle down class," the teacher shouted over the muttering and chatter in the class while you were trying to grasp a few more minutes of sleep.
Everyone had gone for their lunch, and it was just you and sieun in the classroom.
"Was it fun?" Sieun suddenly asked, he was seated, facing the board as you turned to him, confused and exhausted.
"What?" You questioned back as sieun turned to you, his eyes glaring at you ad he continued, "Did you just want help because you wanted to surpass me? To get first place?"
You were too tired for this. Everything was becoming a blur in your head.
"Look, if you wanted to win that math olympiad, you could've said so. I didn't even want to take part in it, the teacher in charge signed me up," you muttered as sieun suddenly slammed the desk with his arm, causing it to turn red with each second that passed.
"You're lazy, and all you do is leech off of others. You ask me for help in everything, but can't even do such a basic concept like polygons." Sieun scoffed as you turned to him, eyebrows furrowed at his sudden aggresiveness.
"What is wrong with you? Just because of a stupid math competition, you're attacking me? Watch your mouth yeon sieun," You spat back at him as he turned to face you, his anger reaching its limits.
"You're pathetic," Sieun stated heartlessly as you stood up, grabbing your textbooks, shoving them into your bag, not caring if the covers or pages were bent. You made your way out of the class, walking down the hallway as you made your way to the main office.
"I'm not feeling well. I need to go home," you told the receptionist as she handed you the form to fill out to leave school early.
Sieun's words were echoing in your head as you thought about his harsh words. He was just like everyone around you. Your parents, always telling you to work harder, unsatisfied with everything that you did for your academics.
You walked down the path from the school gate to the bus stop as you quietly wiped away the tears that were threatening to fall. Floodgates were about to be released, but with the many people at the bus stop, that would be embarrassing. Your vision was still blurry from the lack of sleep, but you kept repeating in your head that it was nothing to worry about.
That was until your legs gave out, and the next thing you knew, you were on the floor, your head facing the road as you felt people calling out to you. They sounded mumbled, as if you were underwater. The world seemed to become a whirlpool as you inhaled deeply, before blacking out, the last thing being the sound of the ambulance.
The next week came, and Sieun walked into the classroom, waiting patiently with a box of milk, patiently waiting for you to arrive. He had thought about his actions over the weekend and realised he had lost his cool over something minor, and he had definitely hurt you. He tried to convince himself that he did the right thing, but he couldn't. Remembering how you looked at him, face full of hurt and hands trembling, he couldn't.
The bell rang, and the boy looked up from his notebook to see the seat next to him empty. You didn't arrive. Maybe you were late? He told himself as he placed the milk under your desk for you to see when you arrived.
"I have news to share with all of you," the teacher started as she walked into the classroom with a vase of white flowers, the atmosphere becoming heavy. The teacher was barely ever serious unless something bad happened, and that wasn't a good sign to sieun.
"Our classmate has passed away on Friday. I would like everyone to remember our dear friend as someone who was hard working and could be relied on."
Sieun's ears seemed to ring. A high-pitched ring with a buzzing feeling in his head as he turned to look at his classmates. Only your seat was empty.
"Sieun," the teacher called him as he snapped out of his daze, realising she was standing beside your table.
"I hope you're alright. I know the sudden news shocked you seeing as the both of you were quite close," The teacher said as she placed the flowers on your desk, leaving it as sieun couldn't help but stare at it.
You were gone, and the last thing he called you was 'pathetic'. He was so caught up in his inner turmoil that he was so blind as to not see you suffering right in front of his two very eyes.
Sieun reached out his hand, his hand grazing the clear vase as he thought of when he'd pat your head when you'd sleep in class. He didn't expect that the next time he'd see you, you would be in a casket, with a large potrait of your school photo in front of it.
"You must be yeon sieun." a voice called out as sieun turned to see an old woman in a black hanbok, a chief mourner badge around her arm as sieun nodded.
"You were always spoken highly of. My grandchild would always come home and excitedly tell me about how she talked to you more with each day that passed." the old woman told sieun as he looked to the ground. He felt ashamed, as if he shouldn't have been there. Even in death, you'd still find a way to clench his heart.
Sieun sat at his desk at home, staring at the wall. He felt as if his soul had been removed from his body. He always felt void of emotions, but somehow, he felt like there were too many emotions.
One drop, two drops.
Sieun felt his tears running down uncontrollably, not being able to keep himself together. Sieun never had many friends, but somehow, he always found you sneaking into his heart as someone dear to him, as someone he'd want in his life.
But it was too late. You were no longer a rival, but a friend.

Weak Hero Class 1 - fanfic recs
Pt. 2
punishers by despiteviolence(34k)
How could he begin to tell his best and only friend that he misses him even when they’re together? That even with Suho right in front of him, he feels a hole in his middle—somewhere in his chest, maybe on the top of his stomach—like a pulsing, living thing. Like hunger.
Take Down by halahan(2k)
Thinking about it, and being so close, Sieun admits Suho is kind of tall, and he's got a nice bone structure with high cheekbones, a straight nose, and thick eyebrows. His chestnut haircut makes him look a little stupid, and a little boyish.
“The chin must always be tucked.”
Nevermind.
Come Back To Me by halahan(4k)
Something is wrong. But Suho gives him the benefit of the doubt.
“Come back soon,” he says. “I can’t wait more than five minutes. I’m serious.”
Broken wings and broken bones (gather me back together) by thefrenchmistake(9k)
Suho wakes up on a Tuesday.
They figure it out from there.
the sleeping arrangement by wallacepark(7k)
Sieun watched with a glimmer of concern in his eyes. "You should come and sleep at my apartment during the nights you do delivery," he suggested.
Suho considered it for a second then shook his head. "The whole point of not sleeping in my own bed was so I don't miss school by falling asleep for too long."
"Have you ever seen me come late to class?" Sieun asked rhetorically. "I'll have you out of bed and at school before the teachers even arrive."
--
In which Suho has back pain from sleeping on the desks at school and Sieun offers Suho to crash at his place during the nights he does delivery.
the sky tinted gold by killzcount (moondaisies)(5k)
But Youngyi doesn’t react. In fact, her smile completely wipes off as she narrows her eyes at Suho. A somewhat tense moment passes before she says, “You love Sieun.”
Pause. Suho drops his unpeeled garlic clove at the same time his jaw falls open. He glances at his grandmother, who’s fortunately too engrossed with cutting carrots to have heard what Youngyi just said. Suho feels his face heat up, and he knows he’s gone red because Youngyi looks like she’s about to laugh.
“You—” Suho shakes his head. “That wasn’t even a question.”
or, Suho's long and painful journey to finally confessing.
Stay Alive by EightLeggedFox(23k)
If you could do it all over again, what would you change?
Sieun has to learn to come to grips with the fact that maybe there really is no changing the past, that fate is so called for it cannot be reversed—only accepted.
I don't want to lose you by NeedSleepBut(2k)
Soo-Ho finally wakes up and Si-Eun doesn't know how to handle all of the feelings he been trying to ignore.
Stupid by juliaforevermore(1k)
Suho is awake and Sieun has to deal with newfound feelings for his best friend.
His hand-warmer by dotindomain(1k)
Sieun finds himself missing Sooho’s after cram-school company.
Sooho arrives just in time.
Or,
Si-Eun is cold. Soo-Ho has just the perfect warmth.

Tumblr media Tumblr media
Summary:
“Wake up, please.”
Sieun’s fingers twist in the sheets holding fast, wishing Suho would wake up right now with a smile on his face and call him an idiot for crying over his body.
He would even take a long healthy scolding for choosing violence rather than the self-preservation he was taught so insistently, anything is better than the deafening silence suffocating the room- only interrupted occasionally by his own fitful crying.
It takes him a long time to notice the monitors steady beeping in the background is elevating.

oof wait were Monoma and Shinsou still dicks about 1-A's trauma in this AU as well? because if so hoo boy I feel like they didn't take it with quite as much grace here considering their teacher was abducted.
Yeah, probably. Maybe not to the same degree but neither of them were impacted directly and they both are enabled by their personal drives still. In canon they both have a proven track record of using 1-A's experiences against them, even if some of it's way in the future by comparison. Both Monoma and Shinsou are very driven. They would absolutely use this against 1-A in the sports fest.

it kills me everytime— that the first person suho went to the day after his confrontation with beomseok at school, was sieun. that he waited outside his of cram school in excuse of accompanying him in his delivery just to be with him. he must be seething with anger and clouded with confusion, which gradually dissipated upon seeing the only one who understands him the most. the only one he can share his lonely moments with.

Tumblr media
⋆。°✩ first meeting
— he’s SO awkward when you first meet
— probably ignores you at first lmao
— sieun doesn’t care much about his peers/other classmates but you catch his eye because of your intelligence
— he still focus more on his studies tho
sieun sits at his usual seat in class, hunched over his desk as he reviews his notes for an upcoming english exam. his hand hovers just above the paper as he skims through the words and makes small mental notes about which parts to continue practicing.
the sudden halted chatter from his classmates catches sieun’s attention. he glances up briefly, setting his pencil aside when he notices his teacher standing in her usual position at the front of the classroom. beside her is an unfamiliar teenager wearing a thin black jacket draped over the school’s button up.
“class,” the teacher begins, gesturing to you. “this is y/n. they’re a new student here.”
“hello,” you say, bowing to the class.
“there’s an open spot next to sieun,” she says, gently pushing you towards him. “you can sit there for now.”
sieun lets out a small sigh in annoyance as you shuffle over before sliding into the seat beside him. the mindless chatter of your classmates resumes as the door closes, signaling your teacher’s exit. he reaches over to grab his earbuds once again, reaching up to place one into his ear when a voice interrupts him. “number four is wrong.”
sieun stops in his tracks, glaring in your direction. you had also pulled out a notebook, filled with your own scribbled notes and miscellaneous doodles decorating the corners. “it’s a dependant clause, not independent,” you elaborate before turning back to your own notes.
despite his better judgment, sieun backtracks to question four. he scoffs slightly when he rereads the question again. you were right.
“thanks,” he mumbles.
you simply smile, waving him off with the slight shake of your head. “anytime.”
Tumblr media
⋆。°✩ first date
— you have to ask him out. he will never make the first move
— needs a lot of reassurance. this is his first relationship and he likes you a lot. he doesn’t wanna mess it up. bare with him
— probably started off as a study hangout and turned into a study date ngl
you flip your pen between your fingers as you watch sieun continue to scribble down notes. his apartment remains silent except for the occasional noise of either of you flipping through your textbooks or the incessant noise of sieun’s pencil against the page.
you set your own pencil aside, ignoring your notes in favour of admiring the boy in front of you. sieun’s fringe is just barely short enough to avoid falling into his eyes. his eyebrows furrow every now and then as his eyes rapidly switch between his notebook and the textbook laid out beside him. his teeth catch his bottom lip between them - a particularly attractive habit you had noticed over the months of getting to know each other.
siuen pauses when he notices your lack of writing, glancing up at you momentarily. you can’t help the soft smile that spreads across your face when you notice his cheeks heating up slightly.
“you’re staring,” he says.
“i’m admiring,” you tease. sieun’s writing pauses for a second before resuming, though his blush has spread fully across his face, tinting the skin a light pink.
a tranquil silence falls over the room once again. it feels so intimate - sitting with sieun in his quiet apartment. your little quirks have made their way into his life despite your young age. a new pair of slides sits at the door, awaiting your arrival. the front pouch of sieun’s backpack has been cleaned out of the usual pencils and highlighters in favour of snacks and packets of gum for you to take at your convenience. he no longer reaches for his left earbud; the small device being reserved for you.
your feelings for sieun jumble together in a mess of half-finished love letters and detailed confessions deeply confined to your mind. after spending over a month suppressing the urge to tell him, you finally can’t help yourself anymore.
“sieun,” you reach out to take his hand into yours. you smile as he intertwines your fingers together. he stops his studying to look up at you - something he’s never done for anyone else. “i like you.”
his eyes widen in surprise. your breath hitches in your throat and your body tenses. it feels like hours of waiting for his reaction before he finally speaks.
“i like you too.”
a bright smile spreads across your face, making sieun’s lips quirk upwards into a soft smile of his own. “will you be mine?”
“only if you’ll be mine too,” he smiles as he squeezes your still-intertwined hands.
Tumblr media
⋆。°✩ first kiss
— “i don’t know what to do with my hands”
— has never been kissed before slkdnsl
— probably doesn’t kiss back at first but he’ll get the hang of it
— more of a peck than an actual kiss tbh
— it takes a lot of trust and vulnerability to get to this point with siuen. he’s not used to feeling love or affection so kisses mean a lot to you
you sigh to yourself, dramatically stretching before a yawn escapes you. the noise catches sieun’s attention, making him pause momentarily as he watches you attempt to blink some of the sleepiness out of your eyes. “you should get some rest,” he says.
you glance at your textbook once more before nodding with another small sigh. “so should you. you’ve been working for even longer than i have.”
“i’m fine.” the words escape sieun’s lips almost instinctively as he continues his studying. you resist the urge to roll your eyes, closing your textbook and shoving it into your backpack in preparation for school the next day.
“sieun…” you circle around the dining room table so you’re standing behind your boyfriend. you lean down to gently rest your hands on his shoulders, gently massaging the tense muscles. a small sigh of content escapes him as you lean down to press a chaste kiss against his cheek. “you’re exhausted. come on, let’s go to bed.”
sieun finally relents after a few more seconds, letting his own pencil fall to the side before he stands up. your arm snakes around his waist as you help him tidy up; rhythmically packing up his pencils into the case and sliding each textbook back into its rightful place inside of his bag.
you set your backpacks beside each other as you guide sieun towards his bedroom. his bed remains in the corner, still perfectly tidied from his morning routine.
sieun climbs into bed first, sliding underneath the covers before you join him. his arm finds its familiar home around your waist to keep your body closely against his. you bring your hand up to cup sieun’s cheek, brushing your thumb against his soft skin. he smiles as your fingers trail down his face to trace along his jawline before they finally settle underneath his chin.
sieun’s breath hitches when you brush your thumb against his plump bottom lip. he’s grateful for the darkness covers the blush burning on his cheeks. your voice is quiet when you break the silence. “sieun,” you whisper.
“what is it?”
“can i kiss you?”
his body tenses beside you before he forces himself to relax. sieun can feel his heart beating erratically in his chest. “i’ve… never kissed anybody before.”
“it’s okay.” even in the moonlight he can see you softly smiling at him. “we can take it slow, okay? i won’t do anything you’re not comfortable with.”
he knows. sieun has never felt safe with anyone like he does with you. but he nods nevertheless. “please kiss me,” he whispers.
your hand moves from his chin to cup his cheek once again. after a few seconds you finally lean in, gently pressing your lips against his in a sweet kiss.
sieun brings his own hand up to your cheek, hesitantly leaning in and replicating your movements. this one lasts much longer than the first. you can nearly feel all of the love being poured into it.
you both smile when you finally pull away, pressing a final peck against his lips. you lean in closer, nuzzling your face into the crook of sieun’s neck. you press a chaste kiss against the exposed skin of his neck as you let out a small content sigh, finally letting your eyes flutter closed as you begin to fall asleep. “i love you,” you whisper.
sieun presses a kiss against your forehead. “i love you too.”
Tumblr media
⋆。°✩ general dating hcs
— not a huge fan of pda. he doesn’t like the attention and would rather keep your moments together private
— not very touchy but he likes when you hold his hand/intertwine your arms together (especially if it’s an unconscious thing)
— SO PROTECTIVE. sieun is 100% willing to throw himself between you and any bullies
— his kisses are short and sweet. kiss him as a reward for a good grade or reassurance and his face will light up
— sometimes if he’s feeling extra confident he’ll kiss you in public
— has moments of insecurity pretty often. siuen was neglected as a kid and bullied as a teenager. he needs to know that you love and care about him for him and not out of sympathy
— he needs reminders to eat/sleep/drink water. falls a little more in love every time you do little things for him
— his love languages are quality time/acts of service. quietly studying together until you get up to make him some food as he reviews your notes for you are some of his fav moments with you
— gets clingy when he’s tired. pull him away from his studying, help him wash up, kiss his forehead, and pull him into your arms and he will MELT
— also pls pls pls play with his hair he’ll fall asleep immediately

kdrama! sieun x extrovert! affectionate! reader
// reader gets a terrible grade and seeks out the smartest person they know to help them study. studying is boring though, “can we do something else?”
tags: studying leading to making out, the events of weak hero one class don’t happen AU, sieun sitting on reader’s lap, whiny & bold reader, neck kisses, hickey mentions, sieun bites reader too hard on accident, sieun has never kissed anyone, reader and sieun become physically affectionate really fast in a short period of time (i.e. they make out almost right after the first kiss lol)
note: as you can tell, i like writing about neck kisses 💀 this was meant to be like 300 words max BUT I COULDN’T STOP 😭 ENJOY LMFAO. stream funky glitter christmas by NMIXX!!!
“ah,” you whine, “love you, love you,” you bring him closer to your chest, and he re-adjusts his legs to either side of your body, his hands tightening on both your shoulders.
sieun is not the type to indulge in physical affection of any kind, really at all. so, how did he end up in this situation?
it started in the classroom. “ohhh myyy goddd,” your forehead hit the paper on the desk, disappointed at the low score you got. “how did i fail again!?” you sighed as you moved your head to the side, looking at your best friend sitting next to you. she laughed at you, “well maybe if you actually studied,” you squinted your eyes at her, “you’d get a good grade.” she held up her high score, smiling at you. “ugh. really? what do you take me for, a rocket scientist or something?” you moved your head to the side. “…how would i even start doing that anyway? i know nothing about studying.”
“just ask sieun then.” she stated matter of factly. “what? you’re joking, right?” you lifted your head and laughed at her suggestion. you didn’t have anything against him, it’s just.. he was very antisocial.. and frankly, you were kinda scared of him. “no [name], im not. he’s really smart and always gets a perfect score.” she gestured in his direction and you both looked at him from your desks in the back of the classroom.
it was lunch time and he was still studying?? who even does that?
you contemplated her words before nodding affirmatively. “okay. okay! you’re right. lets do this.” you stood up and began walking to his desk before turning around when you saw she wasn’t coming. “umm.. are you coming?” you asked.
“HA, no! that’s your grade. not mine,” she shrugged before turning around to one of your other friends to talk about.. whatever they were talking about.
you deadpanned at her and sighed. she’s right, this is on you. if you wanted to step things up, you’d need to do this yourself. taking another deep breath, you prepared yourself and walked up to his desk at the front, not realizing how quiet the classroom got when you tapped on his shoulder. “hey.. sieun?” you looked at him as he slowly turned around, taking out his earbud. “so, i know we’ve never talked, but i wanted to ask if-“
“can you hurry up? im busy.” he scrunched his eyebrows at you, waiting for your response- meanwhile, you swallowed at how blunt he was. honestly.. it was kind of hot. but mostly rude. “oh, okay.” you responded instinctively, feeling hurt by his words, but knowing you needed to ask if you wanted better grades. “is there anyway you could help me study for the next test?”
he blinked at you. “no.” he turns around and puts his earbud back in, continuing to write. you stared at him, shocked. “ooo..kay.”
that was not the first time you’d ask him. yeah, far from it.
when you walked into class the next day: “please, sieun? just until the next test!” “no.”
when he was walking to cram school: “sieun!! hi! how are you?” “if you’re asking me to help you study, the no.”
several days go by of you asking him the same question, him responding negatively each time. you were read to give up, but one evening you saw he was on his usual route home, so you caught up with him after seeing him from the convenience store window: “siiieeuuunnn!! i bought you onigiri and some matcha tea! it’s good for studying, it helps your brain calm down and focus.” you stretched your arms out, trying to hand him the bag full of goods. “oh.” he looked at you, and he blinked, seemingly confused by your gesture. “thank you.” he hesitantly takes the bag from your hands, making eye contact with you, then bowing, you following suit. he then turns on his feet and begins walking home.
“wait! let me walk you home,” you catch up with him, waving goodbye to your friends through the store window. “so.. you just came from cram school?” he sighs and removes both air-buds from his ears, placing them in his pocket. “yes.” he answers bluntly. “oh, is it good? i really need to start.. y’know, actually caring about my schoolwork.” you glance at him. “it’s fine. it’s a nice place to study.” he slightly shrugs, not sparing a look in your direction. “that’s good!” you smile at him, happy that you’re finally breaking through his shell, even if it’s just a little bit. a silence followed you the rest of the way to his house, and you both stop at his apartment door. “are your parents home?” he looks at you as he unlocks the door knob, “no.” you beam at him, “oh, then if you’re not busy, can we study together? please?” he looks as if he’s gonna say no, but you interrupt him. “pleasepleaseplease! i’ll stop bothering you during school, i promise! and i’ll buy you whatever you want from that convenience store next time we meet!”
he stares at you for several seconds before finally speaking up, “okay. please don’t think this means we’ll be studying together often.” he lets you in, taking off his shoes and stepping into his house slippers, glancing behind him as you cheer, sarcastically remarking "wow, love you too." and step inside, closing the door behind you.
with time, you find yourself sitting next to sieun at his dining table, your notes and previously failed test in front of you, while sieun is writing down what seems to be practice english. despite what sieun said about not making your study sessions a normal thing, you find yourself at his home at first twice a week, then three times, then four, and eventually it becomes a total of five times a week, not counting the times you convince him to go with you to random places like a park or cafe. you both become good friends, and even though you promised not to bother him during school hours, you discover that you enjoy his company whenever you want to just chill. as the weeks turn into months, you became more and more casual and as a result, affectionate with him. words of affirmation was the way you expressed your appreciation and love for the people around you, and sieun was no exception. the first time you told him "i love you," he was.. startled to say the least. you asked him if that was okay for you to say, only as friends of course, and he agreed. nonetheless, you don’t feel the need to be perfect or completely likeable or 100% positive whenever you’re with him. his lack of expectations from you is.. freeing.
it was the last day before finals, and you had prepared. oh boy, you’d prepared so hard that you believed you would get at the very least a B+ letter grade. all the stress and studying will defientely pay off, you thought, and you felt you deserved a treat and a break. so did sieun.
but it seems he didn’t feel the same. “sieunnn, pleaaasseee,” you whined as you laid completely flat on the ground in front of the table, pouting as he didn’t even glance up to look at you. “we deserve a breakkk! we’ve been working our asses off, and plus, i heard that you shouldn’t cram before a test because it stresses out your brain and makes you forget what you learned!”
he sighs and mumbles. “that’s not true, and you know it, [name].” you close your eyes and sigh “i knowww,” you mumble to yourself, sighing with discontent. “i just want... i just want us to take a break,” you sit up and move to sit as close to him as humanly possible. “you’ve always worked so hard, and you deserve a break. a good, long, and satisfying break.” you reach over and hug his waist, leaning over slightly and resting your forehead on his shoulder.
he’s used to your overly affectionate demeanor at this point; he’s seen it time and time again in the classroom, in the cram school you joined to help your grades (and to be with him), and when you both went out together, you routinely and quite casually saying "love you," or "i love you," or some variation of the sort. he never returns the words and he pretends to not care, but in reality, he likes it. just a little- he would never admit it to you, though.
he glances at you but pays your words no mind, continuing to write on the paper in front of him. “sieun!! if you don’t stop studying right now, i’ll.. i’ll do something! something shocking that you would never expect, and then you’d be forced to stop. so, you better stop now on your own will.” you remove your arms from him and sit up straight.
you don’t catch the air that he forcefully exhales from his nose, “like what?” once again not sparing you a single glance.
oh. you didn’t think that far ahead. “you didn’t think that far ahead, did you?” how did he read your mind!? trying to think fast before he makes a fool out of you, you do the first thing that comes to mind- what you’ve wanted to do for a long, long time.
you lean towards him, slightly moving forward to kiss his cheek. he stops writing, and his head slowly turns to yours, making eye contact with you. your heart, aching for more since when you first started crushing on him, take the chance to lean forward again and place a kiss on his lips. as you’re pulling away, you smile as you notice his eyes are closed. “is.. is that okay?” you smile as a timid and small grin appears on his lips. if you weren’t looking at him as intensely as you were, you would’ve missed the single nod he gave to you.
“i have an idea,” you place your hands on his knees, “you’re always teaching me things and helping me study- now it’s my turn to teach you.”
-
you moaned quietly into his mouth as you continued to kiss him, gently rubbing his thigh. the two of you were now in his room and on his bed, lips swollen but still hungry for more. after teaching him the basics of kissing 101 ™,  he quickly got the hang of things. turns out studying is better for more than just good grades.
you pull away, and idea popping into your head. “wait,” you giggle at the way he slightly moves forward, chasing your lips. “i wanna try something, if you don’t mind.” he looks at you with curiousity. “what is it?” “can you.. sit on my lap?” you quickly continue upon seeing the look on his face. “i mean, only if you want to of course, i don’t wanna move too fast or pressure-”
“okay,” he cuts your rambling off and stands up, gesturing for you to move back onto the frame of his bed. you beam and move to the affirmentioned spot, avoiding eye contact as he climbs onto his bed, and into your lap. he looks down at you, getting used to the elevated angle. “like this?” you nod excitedly, not wasting time before you made kissy-lips at him. he takes the hint, barely hesitating before he leans down, lips meeting yours.
now, you’d taught him about other places people would kiss during a makeout session, like their cheek and jaw, but you did not expect him to try and go for it on the first day. he breaks away from you, his kisses moving from your lips to the corner of your mouth and lower, eventually reaching your neck. on instinct, you let out a quiet “ah!” eyes shooting open before closing just as fast. you feel as he kisses and kisses your neck, and you feel like you’re in heaven. his lips are so soft, and they feel so good, you don’t ever want him to sto-
“ow!” you yelp as he immediately stops his assault on your neck. “did i hurt you?” he looks back into your eyes, concern on his features. “no, no, it’s okay, i just wasn’t expecting you to.. bite so hard.” you reach up and run your hands through his hair. “keep going, please,”
you smile and close your eyes as he leans down, this time nipping and biting much softer than before. “ah,” you whine, “love you, love you,” you bring him closer to your chest, and he re-adjusts his legs to either side of your body, his hands tightening on both your shoulders. it feels so good, he feels so good.
minutes go by as the both of you take turns kissing and giving each other hickeys, deciding to slow down when it nears time for you to go.
your phone on his bedside table buzzes once, than twice, then three times. his forehead is resting on your shoulder as you tap him. “okay, i have to go sieun.” you smile at the soft sigh he heaves as he climbs out of your lap, going over to his desk and closing his books.
time goes by as you go back out of his room, taking your time packing all your study equipment before heading towards the door to take off the (favourite color) slippers sieun got specifically for when you visit, and putting on your regular shoes. turning towards him you readjusted the bag you had, smiling at the boy in front of you. "i had so much fun, sieun," you open your arms out and pull him into a hug, enjoying the way he gently hugs you back, almost as if you were made of porcelain, not wanting to hurt or break you, ever.
he doesn't respond as you lean your head onto his shoulder, deeply sighing and closing your eyes, not ever wanting this moment to end. alas, he pulls away first, looking at you with those pretty eyes of his, "you should.. you should come back tomorrow."
the smile that appears on your face is incomparable to any smile you've ever had. the warmth that floods your body is enough to satisfy you, and for the first time with him, you become shy and look at the ground before turning back around to open the door. "i will," meeting his eyes for the last time tonight, you wave at him before two words instinctively leave your mouth; "love you!"
he smiles the tiniest smile and quietly responds, "love you too."
post story note: omg when i tell you i sat down for an hour and literally wrote half the story last night SJJSSJ I LITERALLY COULDN'T STOP. what did you guys think?? im thinking of writing a part two, but im not sure yet. i hope sieun didn't seem too ooc, i had trouble writing him during the makeout session 😭. let me know what you guys think! here is part two btw!

FAVOURITE genre ➳ fluff. warnings ➳ crying. spoilers for weak hero class 1 ep 4. pairing ➳ jihoon x reader. wc ➳ 783. a/n ➳ i was rewatching this scene and it really does always make me cry and then i thought of this fic idea 😭
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Your snack bowl had been discarded and you didn’t even remember the last time you had blinked. Your eyes were glued to the screen of your laptop like some kind of hypnosis was occurring. The small teddy bear that your boyfriend had won at an amusement park for you a month ago was clutched tightly in your arms, serving its role as emotional support quite well.
You were in awe at how thrilling the scenes of the drama were. And, though violent, it was quite beautiful the way the fight scenes were choreographed and executed. You had visited Jihoon on set a lot while he filmed, but you never could tell quite how the end result would turn out. The final released version of Weak Hero Class 1 did not disappoint, though.
You were on episode 4 already even though you had only started earlier this evening. You only took one break to get more snacks and emotional supports (your blanket and the teddy bear). The show was already pulling at your heartstrings— or maybe it was your boyfriend’s phenomenal acting.
The episode was nearing the end and Sooho, Youngyi, and Sieun were in the hospital after the fight with Gilsoo and his gang. An adoring frown etched on your face at the sweet scene. Sieun was very different in character to Jihoon, but there were similarities you could spot and it made your heart warm.
[ What’s your deal? ]
[ What? ]
[ I mean, you… You’re so warm-hearted. Your eyes, how you behave, how you speak, and your face. It feels awfully strange. ]
Tears welled in your eyes, finally escaping and cascading down your cheek as Sieun smiled. The first time he ever smiled. You sniffed and pressed the back button to replay the scene, too immersed in it to hear the sound of the door opening in the background.
And you were still crying on the couch by the time your boyfriend walked into the living room. The episode had finished and the computer screen was black. Jihoon was confused— you had sounded happy and excited just a couple hours ago when you texted him and said you were going to watch the drama, so why were you sad now?
“What’s up?” He asked, moving your empty snack bowl to make a spot on the couch for him. You tried to wipe your tears and turn to him, but one look at your boyfriend and all you saw was Sieun, triggering even more tears.
Jihoon panicked. “Baby, what’s wrong?” He pulled you closer, holding you in his arms and scanning your body to make sure you hadn’t hurt yourself physically.
You tried to form a coherent thought to answer his question, muffling a response into his shirt, “He’s just…”
Jihoon furrowed his eyebrows, “He’s just what?”
“He’s just… so… cute.” You sobbed, hugging Jihoon tighter.
“What? Who’s cute?”
You paused, a smile slipping onto your lips as you caught a hint of jealousy in his voice. You waited until he nagged you again about who this guy you thought was cute was before you finally told him.
“You’re crying because of Sieun?” He questioned curiously.
“He smiled, Jihoon.” You told him again, this time with even more emotion.
“I know. I acted out that scene.” Jihoon said helplessly. You weren’t crying anymore and his earlier panic had subsided, but instead he was left confused as to why that particular scene had left you in such a state.
“I wanna hug him.” You frowned, replaying the scene again.
Jihoon stayed silent at your comment, not bothering to bring up the fact that you kinda were hugging Sieun right now, since Jihoon was Sieun. But he just smiled and pulled you a little closer to his chest.
“Baby.” He mumbled softly.
“Hm?”
“Am I your favourite actor?”
You sat up slightly, pulling away so you could actually look at your boyfriend’s face. “No, I think I like Hyunwook more.” You deadpanned.
Jihoon frowned, “But you were even crying over me. You haven’t cried over Hyunwook.”
“Who says I haven’t?”
Jihoon whined in protest at your teasing and you giggled and snuggled closer to him again.
“Isn’t it a bit too violent for you to be watching, though?” He whispered.
You frowned, “You expect me to not watch something my favourite actor is a lead in?”
“Are you sure I’m not your favourite actor?”
“Favourite singer? Probably. Favourite boyfriend? Definitely.”
“I’m your only boyfriend-”
You shushed him with a laugh, “But favourite actor? There’s some competition. But, hey, at least you won the other two categories!”
“I’m your favourite actor.” He muttered as if to convince himself of the fact and kissed your temple.
“Whatever you say.”

Hero | Ahn Sooho
my first sooho fic :] thank you anon! also here's to @slytherinshua and hannie , no angst this time
Tumblr media
Meeting Ahn Sooho was the most unexpected occurrence in your life. It was almost like he was your hero.
You had your earpieces in, music blasting as you read the book in your hand. It wasn't every day that you were this interested in a book. The words seemed to swirl in your mind as you imagined each word, taking in each detail of every movement of every character.
That was until you were knocked down, hard. Your bottom slammed onto the concrete floor as your book fell onto the floor right after you, covered in soda. Your right earpiece went flying out of your ear, song stopping. Your eyes widened as you looked at your book, the words blending in with the soda, unclear.
You looked up, eyebrows furrowed as you looked at the culprit who had one hand extended out while the other was at the back of his neck.
"Ahn Sooho?" You asked, like a question, as he looked at you in surprise. "You know me?" Sooho replied as you looked at him, scoffing.
"Why wouldn't I?" You responded as you took his hand, standing up as you looked at the stain on your white uniform, starting to feel annoyed by your situation. "The infamous Ahn Sooho who nearly got his ass beaten by the baseball team over a girl. You're a playboy aren't you?".
Sooho's eyes widened as he took off his red jacket, revealing his white uniform that was unbuttoned to show his red work uniform.
"I wouldn't call myself a playboy, maybe everyone's just attracted to my charm?" Sooho responded as he winked, placing the jacket over your shoulders before picking up the soaked book and placing it on the locker near the window.
"I'll replace your book. By tomorrow, the same book will arrive at your table, sergeant!" Sooho said as he saluted you, picking up the empty soda can and continuing to run down the hallway.
You looked at the jacket on your shoulders, putting your arms through it as you zipped it, covering the stain on your uniform.
Sooho delivered his promise. You entered the classroom and walked to your seat near the middle as you saw the same exact book, this time with a sticky note on the first page.
"I'm sorry for bumping into you and ruining your uniform and book. I still feel like this isn't enough to make up for it. Would you want to eat lunch together? I'm in Class 1!" The messy handwriting read as you couldn't help but form a small smile on your lips as you grazed the yellow paper with your fingertips. Why was he like a puppy?
The bell for lunch rang, and unlike yesterday, you found yourself making your way to class 1, walking the back door to see Ahn Sooho fast asleep at his desk. His head rested on a pink bunny pillow, and his chest rose and fell deeply. You contemplated as you held the washed jacket in your arms, wondering if you should really wake the boy up.
"Ahn Sooho, it's lunchtime... and there's a girl here waiting for you. Sooho, Sooho, Sooho, wake up," The boy sitting in front of Sooho turned and shook the boy awake as Sooho jolted awake, eyebrows furrowed as he squinted. The boy let out a big yawn as he turned in his chair to stretch, but turned to see you standing with his jacket, waiting for him.
"Oh! Were you waiting for me?" Sooho asked as he stood up from his seat, finally awake. You handed him the jacket as you bowed slightly, "Thank you for lending it to me. It was a big help."
Sooho waved it off as he responded, "It was nothing! Besides, it was my fault since I... you know... dropped the soda".
The both of you made your way to the cafeteria, taking trays of food as Sooho paid for yours too, taking a seat at a table near the corner.
"So what should we talk about?" Sooho asked as he took a spoonful of rice and shoved it into his mouth. He acted as if he'd been starved for a week. It'd be impossible to tell a beast from Sooho.
You hummed as you thought about it for a few seconds.
"What do you like to do after school?" You asked as you used your chopsticks to pinch a piece of kimchi, placing it into your mouth as the taste engulfed your tastebuds.
Sooho thought about it as he responded with a mouth full of food, causing several rice grains to drop from his mouth.
"I work part-time at a barbecue place, and I do deliveries on two days. I don't go home because I'm scared I'll fall asleep and miss school. I can't miss school," Sooho shared as he saw the curious look on your face as you placed a spoonful of soup in your mouth.
"Why can't you miss a day of school?" You asked as Sooho responded, "I need to graduate with a perfect attendance. My grandmother wants me to graduate with a perfect attendance, even if I don't end up going to college. So, what about you? What do you do after school?".
You picked at your food as you shared a little, "I go to cram school and then I go to help my grandparents at their bookstore. Their bookstore has a lot of books so I don't have to go far to get good selections. Cram school, is cram school. There's nothing special about it, just the 7pm to 10pm classes every day,".
Sooho laughed a little, making his eyes crinkle as he joked, "I guess we know which one of us will go to college".
You smiled a little as you scooped a spoonful of rice into your mouth, continuing your conversation with the boy.
To everyone around you, it seemed as if the both of you had just met after being apart for 10 years and were catching up on the many years you'd spent together before that. The both of you seemed to connect very well, talking about everything from games to food to stuff worrying you around the neighbourhood. It seemed like you'd finally found someone for you.
You walked down to the parking lot near the school as Sooho put on his helmet, his bag in the trunk below the seat. You were about to wave goodbye to him when he passed you a helmet, patting the seat behind him as he said, "You told me that the distance from the school to your cram school made it hard for you to eat properly. I'll send you to cram school from now on, so eat properly or I'll start packing you lunches like a cooking club member".
Your mouth was practically hanging open as he took the helmet from you, putting it onto your head as he slid the face shield down, tapping the helmet lightly as he ushered you to get on.
The wind felt comforting for some reason. You weren't sure if it was the weather, the vehicle or the boy with you, but your heart seemed to speed up as fast as the motorcyle as your arms were wrapped around the boy's waist, eyes wandering around as you looked at your surroundings curiously. It wasn't often that you'd get on a motorcycle and definitely not with Sooho.
It wasn't just you who felt the speed up of your heart, Sooho could feel your heart pounding on his back as his eyes were focused on the road, not wanting to injure either of you nor his motorbike. He drove with caution as he smiled to himself every time you saw something cool on the way, 'ooh'ing every time.
Sooho lifted the helmet from your head as your hair dropped down to your shoulders, some strands left, a mess on the top of your head. Sooho reached for the mess as he combed his fingers through your hair, making sure your hair was neat.
"Don't go around alone anymore. Byuksan Middle School might be an elite school, but the schools around us have scary students. If you need to go anywhere after school or after cram school, call me, and I'll pick you up. Don't wander alone anymore," Sooho said as he placed your bag on your shoulders. You look at him, wondering what this sudden feeling blooming in your chest.
You coughed as you excused yourself, cheeks red as you walked to the entrance of the cram school, turning to give the boy a small wave as you walked in, disappearing into the crowd of students. Sooho managed to give a small wave back as he kept the extra helmet in the seat storage, heading to start his delivery gig early so he could get back to the cram school by 10pm.
He was right on time. You excited your cram school as you waved goodbye to some friends you made as per Sooho's suggestion after the mini lunch date you both had. He was leaning on his motorbike, phone in hand as the LED lit his face blue, his eyes focused on the screen. The sound of students exiting seemed to catch his attention as he raised his head to meet eyes with you.
"Sooho? You're here?" You asked as Sooho took your bag from your shoulder, putting it back in the storage box as he reponded, "Why not? I told you I'd be here. My grandmother always says, 'Sooho! Don't let a girl walk by herself! Don't let her carry her own bag, and don't let her spend her own money!' So I'm kind of like... your hero? I'll save you anytime anything happens." Sooho mimicked his grandmother as you couldn't help but laugh at his horrible impersonation.
This became a daily routine as Sooho began to reserve the helmet only for you. He would never come late and would stay true to his word. He would buy you snacks if you had make-up classes at cram school, buy you dessert to go along with your school lunch, and always have an umbrella if the weather was down.
Sooho ran. His motorbike was outside your cram school while you were nowhere to be seen. He initially thought that maybe you had some extra work to do or someone held you up, but when he saw the familiar friends he saw you hanging out with many months ago, he couldn't stop himself.
"We haven't seen her since Physics class. Physics was at 9pm. She looked at her phone and suddenly left, saying she had an emergency. " Your friend informed Sooho as he started to feel tense.
"Which direction did she run to?" Sooho asked as your friends muttered amongst each other, trying to get a definite answer.
"She ran out and ran out the gate towards the Byuksan Alley," Your friend told him as the words 'Byuksan Alley' made him run towards that place as fast as he could.
"Sooho, can I tell you something?" You asked the boy as the both of you sat at lunch as per usual. It had become a norm over the past few months, and the both of you could be considered... best friends? What everyone knew was that both of you were insperable.
Sooho hummed as he looked at you, giving you his unwavering attention.
"I think, with everything happening between you, sieun and beomseok... beomseok sent some girls after me. They didn't do anything, but they said that I better watch out," You told Sooho as his face changed into one with anger. He turned to give the disgusting boy a glance as he responded with false calmness, "If anything ever happens with them, call me first".
Sooho turned the alley as he saw you on the floor, your uniform painted red as girls with white surgical masks on their face, uniform unbuttoned revealing black shirts and skirts at their knees, kicked you repeatedly. By their side, there were guys in school uniforms too, watching the violence as if it were some sick variety show. You were ambushed. You didn't expect them to find your number and threaten you with Sooho's life. You had no choice.
"Sooho!" You called out, trying to alert him in case he was in the area. He said he'd always save you, he will... right?
Sooho ran in, kicking the first guy in the chest, making him fall against the wall with a thud as he elbowed the next guy in the lungs, causing him to cough. Sooho took the chance to punch him in the face, not leaving him any time to recover. He then turned to the last guy, who looked at him, trembling. His eyeballs practically vibrated as Sooho walked up to him. The guy took off running, leaving the three confused girls.
"Baby, why did you run...?" The girl kicking you asked as she turned to see her boyfriend nowhere in sight, and her two friends' boyfriends on the floor, knocked out.
The three girls turned in horror as Sooho spoke, "Why would you do this to her? She didn't even do anything, and here you are, kicking her as if she did something to you. "
The three girls looked at each other as the middle one muttered, "Beomseok asked us to do it. He said that she told on us that we had smokes.".
Sooho scoffed. Just because a liar told them that she told on them for cigarettes? She didn't even know them, much less cared about whether they died early because of chemical sticks.
"Leave, and don't bother her again," Sooho said as he bent down to check your bloodied uniform. Your head had dirt marks from the shoes of the girls and your tears made the dirt coat your cheek. Sooho wiped the dirt off with his thumb as he smiled.
"I told you I'm your hero now, didn't I?"

Study time
Welcome to the first fic posted on this account! Pairing: Suho x Sieun (Platonic) Show: Weak Hero Class 1 Warning: this is a tickle fic, move on if you don't like that ___________________________________________________________ Suho desperately needed to study. It’s been a fact known to him, he just could never find the motivation. Then along came Sieun, his now close friend. Sieun was a bookworm, always studying or doing schoolwork. To Suho that seemed a bit like torture but it would be the best person that he could ask for help. Finals were fast approaching and Suho still couldn’t figure some stuff out, so he decided to ask Sieun for help. Reluctantly, he agreed and that leads to the current situation. They were both at Sieun’s place at a table, working on Math. “Do you understand how to do this Suho?” “No, it’s still confusing me.” “I’ll go over it again.” That cycle went on for almost an hour, and in all honesty, Suho was getting bored. Can you really blame him for dozing off while Sieun was looking away? “Do you understand-” Sieun paused in the middle of his sentence, realizing that Suho was no longer asking questions or answering him. Turning to face the other, he sighed as Suho had his head on the desk, snoring softly. “Wake up.” “Wha- I’m up I’m up.” Suho shot up, rubbing his eyes and trying to act awake while looking at Sieun, who simply looked annoyed at that point. “Stay awake or you will regret it.” “Okay okay, I’m listening, go on.” Sieun continued on with his lesson and Suho struggled to stay awake, occasionally dozing off on his hand before jumping and waking up again. He really did try, but as Sieun was explaining the quadratic formula, he fell asleep again. “So that’s how you do the quadratic formula, do you understand?” Sieun waited for a few seconds before turning around again and sighing. He shifted over to Suho and rested his hands on Suho’s hips, tapping his fingers on the bones slowly. “Suho, I warned you about falling asleep.” Suho grumbled something softly in his sleep, but squealed and jolted upright when Sieun began to rub circles into his hips. “WHAhAT- hEHEy quHuit tHAHAT” Suho yelped and cackled, falling back and laughing harder as Sieun pinched and kneaded into his hips. “Why? I’m helping you wake up.” “iHIhIT tIHICKlEHES” “I’m tickling you, of course it’s going to tickle if you are ticklish.” Suho let out a rather embarrassing squeal as Sieun scribbled his underarms, squirming wildly, trying not to hurt Sieun while doing so. “I asked you nicely, and you didn’t listen, did you?” “iHIHIm sOHohORRY iHI SWHEHEaR” “Are you really? Or are you sorry you got caught sleeping?” Suho went pink and tried to hide his blush, but Sieun had already seen it and was sure to point it out. “It seems like you are enjoying this, you have not told me to stop yet.” “SHUHUT uHUHUP” Sieun smiled slightly, but pushed it back, instead deciding to nibble at his hips, driving Suho crazy. “I’LL STAHAY UHUP IHI SWEHEAR” With that, Sieun pulled away, getting some water and giving it to Suho. “Now can we continue without you falling asleep?” “Yehes, sorry about that.” Sieun continued his lecture and this time, Suho didn’t fall asleep, paying more attention than he did before.
