5:05 - un acercamiento a la música instrumental.
En pleno otoño de 2021 y con aún un largo trecho de confinamiento por delante Edd (Eduardo Escalante) decide sacar a luz un EP instrumental llamado “Café 5:05” como su primer trabajo musical bajo el nombre de Tiburón Gato. ¿Le has dado oportunidad a la música instrumental?

¿Cómo nace Tiburón Gato?
Tiburón Gato es la indecisión ante lo que quería componer. Mi variedad musical me impedía centrarme en algo. Por lo que en YouTube decidí crear una cuenta con “alter egos”: Gato Dorado es psicodelia desde rock hasta pop y Tiburón Gato es rock en el sentido más general, desde un rock guitarrero a surf rock, incluso intentos de Post Punk.
¿Qué te llevo a hacer música instrumental?
Una madrugada de enero no podía dormir y comencé a tocar sin pretensiones. Estaba solo con los instrumentos y la grabadora. Poco a poco capa tras capa comencé a formar una idea la cual terminaría siendo “Perdido”, la primera canción que hice y la tercera pista del EP. Recuerdo que mientras la hacía grabé unas voces simplemente de fondo y me gustó, probé cantando y escribiendo diferentes versos que al final todos fueron descartados. Me gustó lo que transmitía la canción, lo que fluía en esa instrumental y quise que fuese así. Quizá en el futuro busque una interpretación vocal pero ahora estoy cómodo trabajando en la composición instrumental y producción.

¿Con qué se encuentra una persona cuando escucha el EP “Café 5:05”?
Considero que dentro de la simpleza hay algo que te hace seguir un camino. Inspirado en la producción británica me gustó la idea del hilo conductor desde el principio. Una madrugada en la cual comienzas ese trayecto sin rumbo a una noche sin sueño. Primero esa típica película de verano que nos hace percatar que se hizo tarde, luego ese sentimiento veraniego plasmado en el sonido del mar en forma de interludio. No necesariamente por estar echado a las 4 de la tarde sobre la arena. Quizá sea por ese vino o cerveza con amigo a la madrugada riendo y dando unas pitadas a un tabaco. Ahí avanzamos a “Perdido”, ese sentimiento ambiguo de ansiedad, sin rumbo y preguntas que atacan a una psiquis débil, tras eso un mareo un café de calma, un momento donde aceptas que ya no vas a dormir y te tomas algo que acompañe una canción o una película. La nostalgia, una experimentación guitarrera y psicodélica que mezcla inspiraciones de principios de mi adolescencia y finales de esta. Y por último el amanecer, una pieza acústica que relaja, que acaba el viaje y fue tan satisfactorio haber pasado otra noche que parece casi anecdótica esas emociones tensas de hace unas horas.
¿Podremos ver a Tiburón Gato en vivo o es un proyecto digital?
En principio quiero que sea digital, pero de una forma más íntima, plasmar mis ideas en canciones y material audiovisual. Recién estoy comenzando con la edición de videos, pero pretendo que futuros proyectos cuenten con cortometrajes variados, desde video diarios a simplemente paisajes que me gusten o mis gatas siendo ellas por casa.
¿Qué se viene para el futuro?
Delirios o experimentos míos, tengo ganas de profundizar en piezas más complejas y videos más elaborados. Tengo muchas ideas y propósitos con este proyecto. No sé hacia donde iré ahora, en principio algunas canciones sueltas hasta que atrape otra idea fugaz para un EP, quizá LP colaborativo con quien se anime a cantar.

This upward the inherent energy in the dhoti is transmitted towards the person wearing the dhoti like the plume of smoke arising after putting Dhoop (Black incense) on the live coals during puja and a protective sheath is formed around him. This energy spreads in the body of the person. The presence of negative energies is also reduced.

This 1000yrs old "Rudra Mahalaya" in Siddhpur, Gujarat, is sustained only by this stunningly Intricate Mandapa & one Kirti Torana. Rudra Mahalaya was originally a 3 storeyed structure with 1600 sthambhas, 12 Dwaras & 11 Rudra Grihas around it. After sacking by Alauddin Khilji in 1290s & Ahmed Shah in 1400s the remnants were used to built Jami masjid to the western portion of the complex. This wonderful "RudraMahalaya" today is just a disputed land waiting to see its extinction too soon. The exuberant architectural element of Solanki Chalukyas are the "Sthambhas" with Magnificient "Kumbhas" (Base of Pillar), enormous "Sirsas" (Capital of Pillar).
