The Moon Trio

While the Sun Avatar is a self contained and independent force, the Moon Avatar is often found with one or both of her companions.

The Moon Avatar

Introducing Lekha, the moon avatar/demigod. She’s 7 ft tall, composed, quiet and kind. There’s never anything to fear when she’s around, because the darkest nights are lit by her gaze. She’s the picture of reliability in the face of monsters and threats, earning a devoted following from both the Moon Religion worshippers and her own fans. Those who know her personally, however, know that she prizes liberty, chaos and people who are absolutely unhinged like the two who follow her. After Nimit, the sun avatar, she’s the second most powerful person in the world.

Panthalassa

From Lekha’s perch in the clouds, she summoned a slumbering goddess to accompany her in her exploits.

Meet Nisha, the ocean itself incarnated into human form. She stepped out of the waves when she first saw the Moon Avatar, and accompanies her as her archer. Not pictured yet are her winding blue tattoos (design commissioned from @/zoonarts commission her she’s amazing) that evoke the image of the sea. She’s both ancient and ‘new’ to the lands. Other than the avatars, she’s the third most powerful person in the world.

The Wolf Warrior

Last but not least, we have Aranya! Is she a demon lord reincarnated to thrust this world into ruin? No.

But she sure would appreciate it if you believed that.

Originally captivated by Lekha’s might and heroism, she grudgingly ‘tolerates’ the Ocean Goddess who pulls her to their side. An axe-wielding power hungry wolf vanara, who dreams of conquering the world in the middle of soothing crying children and helping her omnipotent partners with crimefighting.

I dont know if there's any point doing this but I'm giving it a shot just because I want to at least try, and feel some sort of stability, even if temporary.

I've finally made the steps to take the plunge and start getting lazer hair removal treatments, after a decade. I'm a mentally ill south asian muslim woman who's suffered from body dysphoria for years due to my hormonal condition (PCOS), severe hirsutism (excessive male-pattern body/facial hair growth) and acanthosis nigricans. Most people who have followed me on this site for years know I have gone through trauma and humiliation because of the severe body/facial hair growth, and have always expressed how much it gets in the way with every aspect of my life. More relevant, it gets in the way of me being a henna artist and making art and promoting my work on social media, since it requires I shave/wax my arms, and I've always had a hard time with this as someone with hirsutism. It's costly and time consuming, and damages the skin. As a result I don't make enough money because of lack of bookings, caused by the lack of exposure and inconsistent uploading of content. It's been 6-7 years now.

Now that I've graduated from uni I'm still looking for a job/applying and still to receive a response back from a paid internship programme, but now my laptop's keyboard has stopped working which sets me back even more, and will have to get it fixed. I can't do digital art/henna commissions either now.

I'm aware there are people who need financial help much more than I do, so theres no pressure. If you like my henna art @/iffathenna and my digital art @/zoonarts (or just my main blog and my posts? me??), and it is within your means, then please consider supporting me so that I can pay for my first couple of lazer treatments. At the moment there is a discount for half arms (ten sessions) and face and neck (six sessions), which in total would be around £530, however this discount won't be available for long. With the severity of my hirsutism there's no expectation that this many number of treatments will be enough (not to mention I have the rest of my body to still tackle), but I am hoping I get a job soon, and by combining the lazer treatments with whatever medications and help I recieve from doctors over the next few years will do SOMETHING. I just want to feel at peace with my body. And I want to see results in terms of my other pcos symptoms (chronic fatigue, sleep problems, acanthosis nigricans) where I have more mental and physical energy to do things.

I'll put my p*pal at the bottom of this post, but I also recently made a kofi, so in general any support I continue to recieve from folk will definitely help me beyond just the treatments, like medications and henna materials. Thank you so much.
