Can I participate in Clown husbandry?

This is an important question..I am a graduated clown..I work to entertain children with my whimsy and trickery; however many are unaware of the difference between domestic breeds of clown and the commonly seen humanoid clowns; often seen in media. I am of the humanoid variety and is unable to be domesticated as a clown pet. I was wondering whether I would be able to keep and ranch clowns of my own?

I am disgusted by clown husbandry!

So much misinformation. Not all clowns are supposed to be held captive and I know I'm almost years late to be hopping on this matter; but here it is..NOT ALL CLOWNS ARE PETS..Many are intellegent and complex beings and are even able to type and post on Tumblr. There is a clear distinction and it shows many of you haven't put in the time and research in order to learn this. Maybe this Tumblr account can be used to break these common tropes
