My PMS Kit June 2019 Review

Hello Everyone!

I received another adorable package from My PMS Kit in return for writing a little piece for their blog! Visit their website (www.mypmskits.com) to check it out. In the meantime, let’s delve into this current box.

This is another very full box, and I think it’s my favorite so far!

I’m not sure how to describe this bag, but bear with me! It has like boning in the top that gives it structure and helps open/close it. It has a zipper closure, and then the rest of the bag is loose form.

Here is this month’s candy! It’s a bit of a hodge podge of stuff, but there are a few pieces in here I like.

Check out this adorable crystal necklace I received! It is on a silver colored chain. I am a HUGE fan of these kinds of necklaces, but I do have to say that mine appears to have many chips and air bubbles in it. Thankfully, they are on the backside so they shouldn’t be noticeable when I wear it.

As always, here are the pads!

THE WORLD NEEDS MORE FUZZY SOCKS. I friggin’ love fuzzy socks, and these are a HUGE hit with me.

Finally, I received a bit of makeup in this package - the Wonder Stick. It is supposed to help with highlighting and contouring. It should be interesting because I am a very PALE person so most makeup like this looks very orange on me - here’s hoping!

This is always a fun little package to get, and I can’t wait to try everything in it.

Penny & Grace June 2019 Review

Hello Everyone!

This next package from Penny & Grace can only be described in one word: MAGICAL!

This time around I received two necklaces and a bracelet. The color chosen for me was gold!

Check out this cute unicorn necklace! It’s a small pendant with a unicorn etched onto it - the pendant is gold colored, but it’s currently reflecting my background!

The second necklace in the package is this star necklace (also gold, also reflecting my background). It has two stars on it positioned asymmetrically with the large star in the center of the necklace and a smaller star to the left with a tiny rhinestone in it.

Finally, the bracelet matches the star necklace!

I really love this package with its *magical* theme. When I signed up for this, I asked to be surprised each month with regards to what color the jewelry would be. This is the first time I’ve received gold, and I really like it! It’s a very soft colored gold and not a really harsh gold.

As always, I highly recommend this package! The items are good quality and the themes are fun.

This soap from @coffeeandaclassic is absolutely fantastic! The smell really reminds me of blue lollipops, and it’s very strong - you know you’ll walk away smelling clean after using this! (And like candy)

Coffee and a Classic May 2019 Reivew

Hello Everyone!

Who else is ready to sit down with a good book? It’s been raining here like CRAZY, which means I actually have some downtime to enjoy my next box from Coffee and a Classic.

This is another PACKED box, and the theme this time around is Jane Eyre.

So, let’s start with the main focus! This is another gorgeous book with beautiful pages and it even has a ribbon bookmark built into the book.

This month’s bookmark is magnetic so I can stick it on my fridge between books so I can always keep track of where it is!

Check out the chocolate for this month! It is lavender chocolate - I LOVE lavender. I’ve had it in tea, but I’ve never tried it in other foods so I’m excited to combine it with my FAVORITE dessert of all time: CHOCOLATE.

I’m in love with this coffee mug. It’s white with a raised pattern of lines and dots, and the quote on the front reads, “The shadows are as important as the light.”

There is also this handy Jane Eyre themed journal complete with the logo on the cover of the book lightly printed on all the inside pages.

I really can’t get over how detailed their packing slips are - I’m very grateful! Everything is explained well.

This gorgeous blue colored cold pressed soap smells AMAZING - it reminds me of those little blue suckers we used to get as kids.

I’M SO EXCITED! THIS IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE TEAS!!! (It’s earl grey lavender).

I’m very excited about this amazing box. I’ve never read Jane Eyre, and I have always wanted to! I love all the products, and I can’t wait to see what comes next month.

My Garden Box May 2019 Review

Hello Everyone!

I am unbelievably excited to introduce you to a NEW subscription box (new to me, anyways)! It is called My Garden Box, and every month you receive a FULL SIZE plant along with planters for it, soil, other accessories like moss or rocks, and a few fun gardening related items. I can’t tell you how much I am in love with this box!

Just look at how jam packed this box is! I could barely fit everything in this photo. To say I’m happy is a HUGE understatement - I’m ecstatic!

First, let’s break down the instructions included. There are three lovely pages - one is a little letter from the company explaining what the theme of the month is and why it was picked. One page explains all about the plant with some fun facts and how to take care of it. The final page shows you in full color photos step by step how to plant this. I am blown away. The instructions are easy to follow and very detailed, and I love all the information we receive about the plant.

Next up we have some of the pieces that form this month’s project. The metal piece is a stake to be put in the planter, the small chalkboard goes onto the metal stake, and the chalk is supplied so you can write down the name of the plant on the chalkboard piece so you always know what it is - and guests can easily see what it is too!

Just look at this gorgeous plant (called a Jade Jewel). I couldn’t believe my eyes when I opened the box to receive this! I mean, this is a FULL GROWN, beautifully cared for plant. If you follow my blog, you know I’ve tried other plant boxes and they tend to send little tiny plants that have just been re-potted; most of the time, those plants were so small and suffered such a shock from shipping that they were dead within a few weeks no matter how you cared for them. Not this plant. This is a BEAUTIFUL full grown plant that suffered no shock from this company’s extremely fast shipping. It is very healthy, and I know I will enjoy it for many months to come.

This is the pot that came in the package. Yes, folks, this is a REAL terra cotta pot. Not something plastic and flimsy but something of real substance and high quality.

Also included was a bag of rocks to help with planting (that’s the green bag above), and some delicious smelling oatmeal soap to rejuvenate your hands after planting. Oh, yeah, and they were super considerate and added a small washcloth too. This company is GREAT. They really do think of everything.

Finally, My Garden Box even sends you a bag of soil. I mean, come on! This is INSANE. They literally send you everything you need for this project. I always have potting soil on hand, but the amount varies and at this time I certainly didn’t have enough for this project. No worries, though, because this company has me covered with just the right amount of soil. WOW.

Can you tell? This box BLEW MY MIND. Everything is full size to the max, and all the products in it are extremely high quality. Shipping was crazy fast, and all of my items arrived in perfect condition. This. Is. Amazing. You need to check this place out RIGHT NOW - you are going to love it!

Penny & Grace May 2019 Review

Hello Everyone!

Can I just say, thank GOD for the weekend?!!?!?! Let’s send Friday out with a bang by checking out the latest package from Penny & Grace. (Please keep in mind, I’m behind on reviews - this package is from January 2019, sorry!).

The theme for this month was rhinestone x’s and o’s! (Again, since this was January this was in preparation for Valentine’s Day).

Isn’t this bracelet just adorable? I received a silver bracelet with a solid silver colored O and a rhinestone filled X.

The necklace of course matches the bracelet! Love that these are a set.

The last item in the box was a simple, silver, rhinestone covered ring. I really appreciate the simplicity of this ring, and, again, that it follows the theme of X’s and O’s!

I absolutely love this jewelry from Penny & Grace. It’s just so dainty and fine! I can’t wait to see what’s in the next package.

Sand Cloud Review April 2019

Hello Everyone!

Sorry for missing a couple of days! It’s been crazy busy, and I’ve been playing catch up at work - but I’m back now! Let’s take another look at a fun Sand Cloud package!

This box’s theme was PENGUINS! Just look at how cute they are! I received the normal t-shirt, socks, and a handful of stickers.

Here’s a better closeup of the socks - I will show you a close up of the shirt in action later! These socks have penguins on them along with baby blue stripes and VERY light pink-ish stripes.

As always, Sand Cloud has sent a high quality box with items I am sure to wear FOREVER.

Coffee And A Classic April 2019 Review

Hello Everyone!

I stumbled upon a new subscription box which I absolutely LOVE called Coffee and a Classic! Each month, you receive a beverage (coffee, tea, or hot chocolate), bookmark, book (classic fiction, classic nonfiction, or children’s classic) along with some bookish items! I chose tea and classic fiction for my options.

First, I wanted to show you how this arrives! There is a lovely little organizer box inside of the regular subscription box. As you can see, this box actually ran into a snowstorm, but everything inside of it was completely protected!

Here are all the goodies in this box! There’s a lot to take in!

The book for this box was Great Expectations by Charles Dickens. Look at just how GORGEOUS this book is! Plus, it has a built in ribbon bookmark.

This box also had a laser engraved wooden bookmark with Charles Dickens’s signature and his face etched into it.

I chose the box option that came with a snack, and this is a whoopie pie!

I can’t explain how tricky it is to get a photo of this mug! It’s actually copper colored but completely reflective so that’s why the color is a little strange, and it has a scene on it from Great Expectations.

This is an ornament with the house from the book, although it’s a little dark and hard to see - but it certainly matches with the description of the house in the book!

I am in love with this packing slip. It explains a little about the theme and tells you what each item in the box is!

I received some London Holiday tea which has lots of interesting flavors in it!

Finally, I received some wax melts. I don’t have anything to melt these with, but based on how good they smell, I need to go get something to melt them!

I really love this box. Each item is a good size and of good quality. It all ties together, and you can’t go wrong with a good book!
