If any of them have kids, they're emotionally distant fathers because "dealing with a child's emotions is the mom's job". The only exception is Patton, and they constantly make fun of him for that and talk about how caring for/listening to your child's problems is so annoying. Eventually they have an episode where they have to spend time with their kids for whatever reason and bond/learn the error of their ways. It's actually a really good episode but none of the lessons in it ever come up again
