What Too Many Records Is Up To

Been a while since I posted on the blog, here. I was ambitious in thinking that I’d have time to keep up with this along with my other endeavors. That being said:

-I’m still putting out videos every week on YouTube, make sure you’re subscribed and have the bell notification on so you don’t miss out on any video drops

-Currently, I’m writing a book about vinyl collecting that is coming along wonderfully, I will link to that here (and everywhere else) once that is ready to go

-The Record Label I started in 2019 is chugging along beautifully. 7 sold out releases with the 8th one to drop less than a week from now. Make sure you stay tuned on the channel so you can grab all the future titles!

I've never bought one of these but god damnit this looks beautiful. I like every single item. Icky Thump is a very underrated album. It's not quite the powerhouse of De Stijl - Elephant but IMO it's way better than GBMS.

I'll probably sell my normal Icky Thump and pick this up.

This is my second favorite album of all time. This deluxe version sounds incredible and, while I already own this three times over in different versions (black, colored, pic disk) ... I couldn’t resist the early bird. If you don’t know this magnificently fun psych-pop album, you need to listen to it ASAP. And buy the limited version before it sells out, or regret it later.

Until end of day April 20th, you can pre-order a signed copy of DAMN on double red disks, and there’s an option to tack on a T-Shirt. For $55 shipped, despite how lazy the design is for the shirt, it’s not a bad deal. 

If you were part of the untitled, unmastered signed vinyl fiasco, you’d know that the record was signed with a sloppy K, most likely from an intern, and there was a lot of backlash -- so maybe they’ve learned their lesson.

I’ve been jamming Damn since it came out and it’s growing on me, hard. I took the plunge.
