#WonderCon2024 was truly amazing! I got to see @chgreenblatt at his “Magic of #Jellystone” panel! Got to meet him and get my Jelly-related questions answered. Got a favorite Jellystone fanart of mine signed (he voices Peter BTW) And I even gave him Jelly-stickers + charms from my shop!

He’s an amazing guy and really cares for the fandom! And as fans we need to continue supporting him and his amazing show since Chowder and Harvey (and the first three seasons of SpongeBob. Remember, HE’s the reason for Band Geeks). He’s an inspiration and I hope to become something similar to him one day.

Saturday Thoughts

I am on overtime for next week. Will not have much of a day off tomorrow or a life next week. Need to figure something else out I need to bring to work so I am not eating a sandwich all week. May stop at the store and pick up a few microwavable dinners for the week. I will still be getting my Subway on Friday and bringing half for lunch on Saturday. 

Requested some time off from work so I could go to a local comic convention. I am not sure how many days I want to go but I just may do one since I am usually walk around the con in one day and see everything I would like to. Nothing will be like SDCC since most other cons are a lot smaller to me. I may still try and hit up Wondercon next year so I can go to an out of state con. 

I am loving this new haircut I got! It is short enough right now but it should grow in nicely since it was done like a pixie cut. I may let it grow out for a few months before i decide to get it cut again but I want to either get a mixie or just keep going with a pixie. A mixie is a pixie with mullet length to it. Which sounds a lot of fun and may work for my hair texture. 

I do need to get back to using some of my Lush hair care products so I can strengthen my hair. When I had my hair cut short the last time I stopped using some of those products but will start using them again. Also need to pick up some Biotin supplements again since I have ran out of them. Need to start using the pill organizer I have for my vitamins. 

Not much to be done with my plants this week outside of watering. I am starting to get growth on several of them but I do need some other plants to start getting some growth. I also need to pick up some potting soil so the next time I have multiple days off I can start planting some of my propagations. Will also work on cleaning up my office some more tomorrow.

I wish I had a time machine so I could go back and show this photo to my little nine-year-old self, who really truly believed that the Doctor was real and that he and Rose would come and take me to an alien hospital that could make me better.

Christopher Eccleston is so incredibly kind. I told him how much Doctor Who means to me, that when I got sick it gave me something to believe in. I tried to rush through this, knowing that there were many people waiting in line behind me, but he paused me and wanted to know what I was sick with (CRPS) and how old I was when it started (9), and then he came out from behind the autograph table and hugged me for a good 30 seconds. While he was hugging me he said “You know what I think, you’re going to beat it. You’re going to become an expert and you’re going to help other people. I’ve been going through a hard time and this put things in perspective.” When I saw him again for our photo he hugged me again and said “You’re gonna beat it.” I can’t stop happy crying, I am so grateful.

He also said I was the first Ophelia he’d signed an autograph for, and asked if I’d met Billie (I have).
