hey. ive been following STCNTA (and the mini fics, prompts, stuff along the way) since 2016 and your writing helped me get through hell and back. i was in a terrible headspace for a long time and your hamilton fics were something to look forward to, somethinh that helped me cope. today i celebrated going one year without an attempt on my life and i opened up tumblr and saw you updated the fic that saved my ass years ago and it just. it means so much. thank you so much dude

I am so sorry for not updating last week! Work started up again (I was working all winter but the season began) and I’m still getting used to it. In honor of Mother’s Day I want to celebrate my fav historical mom: Eliza Schuyler Hamilton!

I love Eliza with all my heart and soul, and if you love her, too, chances are you’d like to know more about her. While there isn’t yet a bio on her life, there is one SUPER good historical fiction book out there that is really accurate. It’s called I, Eliza Hamilton by Susan Holloway Scott. The author researched Eliza a lot and genuinely loves her. If you want to read an Eliza book, trust me, this is the one. 

If you read it 1) come scream about it with me and 2) feel free to ask me anything about Eliza because you know I know a hella lot about Eliza and will never shut up about her!

This is my favorite of all the books that have come out about Eliza Schuyler and/or Alexander Hamilton. It’s one of my favorite historical fiction books for the 18th century, and any time period, as well.
