PLACES TO AVOID IN LOS ANGELES
1. Downtown Los Angeles
Especially Downtown Los Angeles is dangerous and there are also many homeless people. But in general there are so many homeless people everywhere in Los Angeles and if it’s your first time in LA don’t be surprised.
2. Walk of Fame
When I came to the Walk of Fame I was shocked by the amount of homeless people. There are tents and the streets are full of people in need and the Walk of Fame is also very dirty.
In my opinion seeing the Walk of Fame isn’t worth it and you should visit the other sides of Los Angeles.
3. South Los Angeles
South Los Angeles isn’t really made for tourists and the most gangs in Los Angeles are in South LA or near Downtown.
It’s important to book a hotel in the right locations like Santa Monica or Venice.
‼️ Influencers are often only showing the beautiful sides of Los Angeles but when people are coming to LA for the first time they are in shock.
The city can be really dirty and the city also deals with many homeless people!

2. Hike to the Hollywood Sign
hike
The Hollywood Sign is the symbol for the film industry and the symbol for the stars. If you are coming to LA a hike is perfect to take a break of the city and enjoy nature.
You can easily hike to the Hollywood Sign by going to 3390 Deronda Dr. First you’ll see a big fence but if you walk past the wall infront of you you’ll find a door and then you can make your way to the Sign.
Don’t forget to drink enough water and put on enough sunscreen. The sun in California is very dangerous and if you feel exhausted take a break!!!
