I’m in love with In Aeternum, as you know, so I was wondering if you could tell us a little bit more about Yeona’s relationship with the girls? I just love reading it!!

Aww thank you so much!! Okay, well, Yeona was their babysitter when she was in High school and they were just little ones. So they all have a long history together.

She would watch them all and do typical babysitter stuff. Nails, movies, homework, etc. Yeona also would take them to do fun things kind of like an aunt or sister would, to the park or shopping if she had the money.

It's when she moved away that they all lost touch a little because the main way to communicate was through Skype. But even in Korea she tried to stay up to date with them all and would show them her art and her new home with Sehun (RIP sobs) and check in on them. She knew about Caroline's dad leaving, Elena and Matt dating, Bonnie's crushing loneliness in regards to her parents. Yeona tried to be there for them whenever she could cause she really loves those girls.

They are HER girls, you know? She's been through so much with them before the supernatural came crashing back into her life. When she finally moves back to Mystic Falls and is on her journey to finding herself again, she's trying to pick up where she left off.

But things are different now. The girls are older. They have been through a lot.

Like Caroline and Damon and turning.

Elena and her parents dying. Meeting Stefan.

Bonnie with the literal world on her shoulders and newfound powers. What that means for a witch who is meant to follow Nature when Yeona is so abnormal.

Nothing is the same and everything hurts but she still loves those girls and they love her. They will figure it out. They just have some shit to do and go through before they can haha

I’ve been reading In Aeternum, and I’m so, so excited for Yeona to meet Elijah! Like literally, the Damon stuff creeps me out 🫠

But- I’ve been thinking about how Yeona and Klaus’ interactions will be. She’s clearly trying to cling on to her humanity, and she thinks if she can stay away from eating humans for long enough, she’ll become human again.

Can’t help but think that it’s something that would interest Klaus. He’d want to make her break that promise, to see her truly become herself and eat people. I can see him offering her people to eat after draining them dry. It’s just the kind of thing I feel he’d enjoy just because.

I’m absolutely not pressuring you….but I just keep thinking about these interactions in my head now. I have brainrot and I’m trying not to ship your OC with Klaus (but it’s hard). I’ll take whatever platonic crumbs you throw my way though.

Damon IS such a creep. It's the 'we belong together because we are both so fucked up'.

Klaus...Klaus is definitely going to be interested in his future sister-in-law. He feels like she's basically flogging herself this way, or ignoring her true nature. She wants so desperately to be worthy of love and worthy of good things and doesn't feel like the way she is now is good enough. Her journey in part is learning no one DESERVES love. It's something that happens TO us. It's something given despite it all.

He sees that she hungers for connection and he hungers for connection and he wants to prove to her she can find it without inherently changing herself because he wants so badly to believe that for himself.

With Elijah, he just...he loves her in every shape she takes. Every form. He wouldn't ask her to change and though he too wishes she'd just be herself and eat what she needs to be thriving, he knows how hard it is to live with this self-placed mantle of protector on your back. He sees how hard she tries to keep it together, to keep her family safe, to do what needs to be done and he resonates with it.

Too bad for him she fucking hates him too for a while :)

(also poor klaus cause he's currently not in the line up for besties in yeona's story LMFAOOO Kol is though hehe)

This is one of the best OC fics I have ever read! I generally tend not to read canon/OC fics, but this one just had me in its grip. No one quite writes OCs the way @feralcherry does. They are just the master of breathing life into a character and weaving a story out of nothing.

Okay, woo, alright.

Hanne and Elijah would actually just be chilling out together. They'd probably read. He's read something long and helpful in some way, or some ancient text that is actually secretly romance. Hanne is definitely reading something horror-related or a medical textbook on anatomy because it intrigues her. Hanne would think of this as a nice break from her husband (Klaus) and get to spend more time with her brother-in-law.

Yeona and Klaus on the other hand.... Every dinner has Yeona doing this.

And Klaus is probably slumped against the dining table, his neck snapped or a fork in it. She'd want to EAT IN PEACE, thank you. He needs to stop pressuring her to eat humans. She's trying to be good and he's not listening.

It's funny that nice little Yeona is the one actually wrecking Klaus's shit. But she can't stand his ass sometimes. She'd miss her husband (Elijah) and want to go home early.

PART TWO IS EVEN WORSE dear lord

Firstly, I don't think Kai would like Yeona. Yeona tries too hard to be good and doesn't reflect him the way Hanne does. So they are either trying to scrap over a bag of pork rinds and drawing blood or they are ending the experiment early for the sake and health of everyone around.

Same with Hanne and Damon. Except I think Hanne would have already killed Damon. Like the second he pisses her off, she'd be like :)) and drug his drink and stake him. She'd take Kai being annoying and loud over Damon's anything any day.

Name: Soma Shiranui

Rank: Genin then Chunin. She makes Jonin during Naruto classic.

Noted techniques:

-will o wisp genjutsu

-clawed gloves with komodo dragon venom on the ends. 

-komodo dragon summons. The biggest is the size of a Clydesdale horse.

-trap artist. A rank traps.

-ultimate trap jutsu is s-rank. It’s from the line art on her body, released, and since it’d been infused with her own chakra and energy for days on end, it’s impossible to break out of as long as she’s alive. She uses the strings to trap her opponents in big environments and it allows her to slice through them with the string or with her wind chakra. It’s basically an upper-scale version of her standard trap, except she also laces it with her summoned Komodo dragon venom so even a cut can induce issues. If she does this trick while also employing a few of her summons, while extremely chakra intensive, there have been 0 surviving enemies. They either die inside the trap or from the venom.

Personality:

-pretends to be happy more often than not, likes to make jokes. She’s always trying so hard to be kind and understanding because no one was like that for her and her brother. But she overworks herself emotionally often. Never ever does things for tree. Even in close relationships, if she’s doing something for them, cooking/cleaning/listening/training, it’s because she gets their friendship out of it. people think it’s a joke that she never does anything for free but is seen helping others often but she’s actually collecting their friendship in her mind. 

-she trades techniques with people, she never just gives her own over.

-Her ex-girlfriend and ex-teammate Naoko is now a missing-nin.

-In my au, she adopts Naruto as a child and is a big sister figure to him. This is how she met Kakashi though she meets him as Hound as he is the Anbu assigned to Naruto during his stay at Soma's house.

-She is Genma's little sister and they both are menaces together.

-Her summons is a Komodo dragon but she's often compared to a coyote. In fact, Naoko's summons is a coyote, and this is because the two of them switched their scrolls before signing as a way to always have a hint of each other. This backfires when Naoko leaves and now Soma is stuck with the animal representation of her ex.

Eyes burn at her from all sides. Myna’s skin feels tight and itchy beneath her dress, the soft fabric her brother foisted upon her still too much. She longs to crawl from her own body like a butterfly freeing itself from its cocoon but she stays in her rightful place beside Sansa. 

Joffrey’s name day comes with the clang of swords and the whinnying of horses. Men subject themselves to the frivolous yet dangerous sport of jousting for his amusement. Family crests are splattered in mud, the shame of it all grating on Myna’s Northron sensibilities. Playing at war is so strange. Clamoring for the glory of a false battle and begging for the world to look at them even more so.

Every injury only proves her point. She remembers the horrific story of the eldest Tyrell, such a sweet boy becoming crippled by the crushing weight of his own horse against the indomitable Oberon Martell. Her father had told her the story as she practiced her blades, the folly of those men a warning that even the most common of sports can be the thing that kills. Not that the men of the North would play at knight so readily, but the eagerness of performance still strikes an ironic cord.

For the Briarwoods also clamor for their Lord’s attention and play at war for his amusement. Just not so publicly.
