And because of that Sirius demands him to sing some of his favorite songs while braiding his hair

After The Yule Ball Sirius comes back earlier than the rest of his friends, just to cry into his pillow because he saw Remus dancing with some girl? And he got jealous? Because she was pretty?

James notices that he is missing, so he decides to look for him and he finds him in their dorm, all cuddled up in bed, shaking and trying not to let his sobs escape. Then, he comes up to Sirius, sits on his bed, places his hand on his arm and comforts him. After that, he assures him that Remus doesn't even know that girl's name and just wanted to be polite. He tells Sirius he doesn't have to be jealous because of that.

And then there is this awkward question "wait, so you know?" and James just smiles and says "I've heard you shagging too many times to believe that he's just helping you with homework."

The first thing that Remus said when he reunited with Sirius wasn't "I love you". It was "I've missed you", because he truly did and he wanted Sirius to know that. He have missed him every day for those twelve years. And if it wasn't "I've missed you", it was "I remember", cause he remembered everything. He remembered his scent, the look in his eyes, his smile and every little flaw that Sirius hated and Remus loved. He remembered those happy moments when Sirius could laugh all day at all these stupid things he and James had made. He remembered the sad ones also, when he would cuddle him under the blankets, sacrificing his favorite sweater for the other boy's tears.

So, when Remus finally hugged Sirius after all these years, he didn't say "I love you". He said "I've missed you and I remember everything", and that was enough.
