After looking into the trope of "Monster Turned into Human" with this post
I indulged in some "what if my favorite monsters turned into humans" sketches. What behaviors would they keep? How would they move? Would they still freak people out? What adjustments would they have to make?

So a while back we were re-watching "The Last Unicorn" when my sister pointed out that in the beginning, Amalthea was still walking like a unicorn! Wait, what, rewind that.
She was! The way she moved her ankles and feet like hooves.
Later she turns her forehead first when Haggard walks toward her.
This was so cool to see the animators consider this character is a UNICORN IN THE SHAPE OF A WOMAN, so she moves her human body like a unicorn!
Great detail work/acting from the animation team!
Here's to the "Monster Turned Into a Human Trope"
Ariel from the Little Mermaid tring to figure out legs.
Sisu from Raya and The Last Dragon crawling around all over the place.
Finally, the irony of Demona, a gargoyle who hates humans, taking to being human like a fish to water.

On the one hand, Gargoyles is one of those shows that absolutely does not need a reboot. On the other hand, the comedic possibilities of the Manhattan Clan in the age of smartphones are limitless
Elisa gets some used phones for all the gargoyles so they can contact her if there’s an emergency. The first text she gets is from Goliath and it just says “HOW DO I TURN THE CAPS LOCK OFF”
Hudson plays around with his phone just enough to fuck up all the settings, but not enough to know how to change them back (“Sorry to bother you, lad, but everything is in Japanese again”). This is Lexington’s biggest source of headaches
Goliath gets one of those apps that lets you track your kids’ phones. It takes the Rookery Trio about three days to realize this
Broadway panics and snaps his phone in half
Lexington cuts the gordian knot by stealing Goliath’s phone and simply deleting the app
Brooklyn’s like “Two can play this fucking game” and downloads the app so he can track Goliath’s phone and text him randomly like “hey so i notice you haven’t left elisa’s apartment for the past four hours what’s that about lol”

To my favorite Glimbow fan! It struck me to combine N.D. Stevenson's She Ra and Don Bluth's Thumbelina.
Tried to emphasize the Don Bluth glitter, cause dang, those movies have the best glitter effects!
Also, I could not help but put in Seahawk as a Don Bluth bird! Gotta love those Bluth Birds.

Sometimes humans prove that you can break a monster's heart with just words.

Don't you hate it when you go out and you get mistaken for a different mythical creature?
Maybe people get confused and think they are different cryptids?
Imagine Staghart being called a wendigo when he's just taking Bronx on a walk. Oh boy.

Felt nostalgic for all these superhero shows from the early 2000's when I was a kiddo. Does anyone else remember El Tigre? Static Shock? American Dragon Jake Long?
I could rant about why El Tigre is so good. But I'll just keep hoping they put it up on a streaming service for people to watch.
