크리타와 메디방

<디지털 아트를 시작하는 초심자로서 하나하나 나아가는 기록> 이라는 컨셉으로 잡았다😋

음... 우선 크리타, 메디방, 윈도우 프레시 페인트. 이렇게 후보에 올랐는데, 크리타 부터 다운해서 사용해 보기로 했다.

우선 크리타는 다양한 질감과 표현력, 메디방은 클립스튜디오 느낌의 웹툰과 무료 제공 강의가 독보적이고, 프레시 페인트는 아무레도 그림판 업그레이드 버전느낌의 가볍게 쓸수 있다는 차이가 있는것 같다.

휴이온 판타블렛 (리뷰도 따로 포스트에 적어 놨어요~) 을 처음 구매하고 사용하는거니깐 그런기 아무래도 이질감이 심하다... 우선 나는 색깔보다는 텍스쳐에 되게 예민한 편인데, 판타블릿은 그걸 살리지를 못하는것 같다. 아무레도 디지털이니 그런부분은 감안해야 될듯..

메디방은 강의가 있어서 크리타를 우선 다운로드 해봤다. 강의가 있다는점 때문에 메디방을 사용할지도 모르지만, 나의 스타일이 먹힐것 같아서 variety가 더 넓은 크리타를 사용해 보았지만, 전(前) 그림판 유저로서 툴이 너무 많고 아이러니하게도 더 복잡하기에 사용하기 힘들었다. 물론 판테블릿의 사용이 처음이라 적응이 안되서 그런 것도 있을것 같다.

 그렇게 한달정도 써본후, 메디방을 다운해 보았는데

아무레도, 에니메이션은 크리타, 그림은 메디방, 프레센테이션에는 프레시 페인트로 사용하는게 가장 낮다는 의견이다.

벤쿠버 출발이 8시인데 6시에 일어나서 여유부리다가 시간 계산 잘못함을 깨닫고 부랴부랴 7시에 출발, 7시 20분 공항 주차장 도착, 30분에 터미널 도착. 다행히 시큐리티 줄이 없어서 바로 통과, 무사히 비행기 탐. 오매… 정신을 어디다 두고 다니는 건가. 하마터면 못탈뻔🥲

벤쿠버에 온 이유는 집 보러. 정확히는 집이 아니라 방 보러다. 직장에서 승진을 하게 되었는데 캘거리엔 없는 포지션이라 고민 잠깐 하고 결국 벤쿠버 콜! 외침 ㅎ 고생 각오하고 벤쿠버행을 선택했다. Comfort zone을 벗어나는 건 잘한 선택이겠지!? 위안하며.

벤쿠버는 아시아 갈 때 공항 경유하거나 당일치기 여행으로 홍콩출신 친구들이랑 딤섬 먹고 윈터멜론 케이크 산 기억밖에 없는데 막상 살아야된다 생각하고 보니 엄청난 집값에 입이 떡! 그리고 뭐랄까 사람들의 주택 선호 취향이 캘거리랑은 다른 것 같기도 하고.

🔝 아침이라 그런가 런웨이가 바쁘더라는. 간만에 보는 웨젯 디즈니 비행기. 귀욥귀욥.

일하는 분야 특성상 지역 옮기는 거야 자주 있는 일이라 당분간은 캘거리 집에 있고 벤쿠버 커뮤팅 할 것 같다. 완전 이사 여부는 서두르지 않고 천천히 결정할 일이다. 나는 여태 룸메이트를 겪어 본 적이 없다. 이번에 방 찾으면서 광장히 흥미롭고 신선한(?) 경험을 했는데 수 많은 방을 알아보고 룸메를 찾는 과정에서 에피소드들이 있었는데 몇 개 적어보자면,

🔝 이번 제츠 새로운 페인트. 첨엔 왠 군대 스탈인가 했는데 자꾸 보니 멋져보인다 ㅎ

1. 나에게 신넘버, 신분증 사진 요구하는 거. 사기꾼들 어이가 없어서 바로 차단함. 간혹 국적 물어보는 경우도 있었는데 왜 이걸 물어보지? 했는데 친구 말이 그건 아마도 신분 상태에 따라 비자문제 있을 수 있어서 그거 때문이 아닐까 해서 수긍함.

2. 아주아주 디테일한 요구사항들. 먼저 채팅으로 인터뷰를 두번 거치고 시간 잡아 줌 미팅을 하고 이후 직접 방을 볼 약속을 잡는 경우였다. 채팅 인터뷰 하면서 각종 하우스 룰에 대해 이야기 하는데 나도 이렇게 세부사항 많은 룰 좋아한다, 나 역시 상대에게 같은 걸 기대 할 수 있으니까! 라고 솔직하게 이야기 했더니 짧은 침묵 뒤 나에게 다른 방 찾아보라고 ㅎㅎㅎ

🔝집에 올때는 에캐 탐. 로키���맥만 건너면 집에 다 온거다 이거예요😆

이러저러한 일을 거쳐 결국은 한 두 다리 건너 아는 사람 통해 방 구했다. 위치나 가격도 중요하지만 같이 사는 사람들을 믿을 만한지도 중요하니까. 역시나 인맥이 짱인듯 ㅎㅎ 담주에 한번 가서 간단하게 짐 옮기고 11월부터 새 일 시작 예정. 아싸!! 나 자신 화이팅이다!! 🍀🙂👍

매일 지나다니는 길이 조금씩 바뀌어 가는 걸 아시나요? 계절이 지나면서 나무가 꽃을 피우고 지고 푸른 잎이 자라 노랗게 바래지고 떨어지는 것 말고도 건물이 하나씩 새로운 페인트 옷을 입는다던가 혹은 사라지고 새로운 게 생긴다거나 옷 가게였던 곳에 꽃집이 들어서는 것처럼요 저는 변화를 두려워해요. 찾던 것만 찾고 듣던 노래만 듣고 가던 길만 걸어요. 그런데 이제 20대의 끝으로 가다보니 나 조차도 변하더라고요 이때까지 그것들을 부정했던 거였고요. 유럽에 다녀오고 나니 난 우물안 개구리였구나 싶었어요 세상은 배울 것도 볼 것도 기억할 것들도 넘쳐나요 저의 새해 목표는 변화를 받아들이기로 정했어요 변화에는 마침표가 없다잖아요 변화는 있어도 변함은 없기를! 가슴 속에 묻어두고 꺼내 봐야지. 늦었지만 해피 뉴 이어!

Starting as usual from Korean cause I'm a real beginner:

These videos (1 and 2) by TTMIK are my sources for today's goal. I will write most of them and practice on my KR notebook so to work on my handwriting too. But here's today's 3 idioms (dunno if I used them all properly but I hope so):

이 도전은 기가 막혀요 = this challenge is awesome

기가 = energy 막히다 = to be blocked The idiomatic acception makes it either positive or negative. So it can be used to say that something is unbelievably good or... bad. In the video they talk about something tasting awesomely good and their YT channels being awesome.

2. 이 조코 케이크는 진짜 맛있어요. 손히 가요 = this chocolate cake is really good. I can't stop eating it

손히 가다 literally means "hands are going", or something like "hands keep going *somewhere*". One acception of this idiom is: something tastes so good you cannot keep your hands away from it or stop eating it, you keep taking pieces/bites of it (like french fries probably. Yeah I should have used those in my example. Whatever) Another situation this idiom is used in, is to talk about a person who needs constant care (like because they're a bit too clumsy). Not going to write an example here, but I leave it as a note anyway.

3. 지금 놀고 있는 페인트 붓 / 노는 페인트 붓가 있어요 = my paint brush is collecting dust now (not really sure about the correct version, if there's any LOL)

놀고 있다 = object/space that works but is not being used, it's left somewhere collecting dust 놀고 literally means "doing something for fun" (you are not working/studying). It has a literal usage (e.g. when you say you're hanging out with your friends or playing videogames -prob. also sport for fun, if I remember correctly) but also a couple of idiomatic meanings. The one that is not in my example is more sarcastic and generally used among friends and it can be translated as "you're making no sense" or some other (not so) nice words.

And now, briefly in French.

Ne sors pas, il fait un temps de chien! = Don't go outside, the weather is terrible! (un temps de chien = a dog's weather = a terrible weather)

"Rendez-vous vingt heures, 'nôtre' resto?" "Ok, ça marche!" = "Let's meet at 8 P.M. in 'our' restaurant?" "Okay, fine!" (ça marche = it works = it's fine. It's also used in its literal acception "it works")

Si tu as des doutes, dors. La nuit porte conseil. = If you have doubts, sleep. Night is a good conselour. (la nuit porte conseil = night is a good conselour = sleep on it)
