May I please request headcanons for Bayonetta, Joker, Sora, and Zero Suit Samus reacting to their female S/O surprising them at the Smash mansion and spoiling them with delicious food like this?

Yay, my first SSBU request! That food looks so good, I don't think I could choose just one picture. Anyway, I hope you savor this just like the fighters would savor that food!

Bayonetta

- "Why, thank you darling, I'm famished!"

- She will eat the entire plate and then ask for seconds.

- Bayonetta has the best table manners you could possibly imagine. Even if she's ravenous, you'll never catch her eating like a wild animal, especially not in front of you. She looks so elegant while she eats and somehow manages to never get a single crumb on her face.

- She will happily feed some to Gomorrah. It may be a spawn of Satan, but hey, demons need to eat too.

- Speaking of which, Gomorrah now loves you for this.

- She'll make sure that you have some too; she refuses to eat unless you eat with her.

- As a pleasant conversationalist, she has plenty of things to talk about. Bayonetta will happily listen to whatever you might have to say, but she'll definitely be the one to direct the conversation.

- She adores your smiling face as you both dine with delight.

- Between you, Bayo, and Gomorrah, there will be no leftovers; every last morsel will be gone.

- After you're done, she'll give you a big hug and a smooch, thanking you again for the delicious meal.

- You better believe that she will return the favor when you least expect it.

- After you're done eating, she'll insist that you relax while she cleans everything up.

- If you still have room in your stomach, Bayonetta will probably pamper you with dessert. Don't try to deny it; you'll only end up losing the fight.

- "Oh please, after all you've done for me, you deserve it, darling."

Joker

- The first thing he'll notice walking into the mansion is the smell filling the air.

- It's an amazing scent, and he'll be pleasantly surprised to see you in the kitchen.

- He doesn't even realize how hungry he is until he sees all of the food there, waiting for him.

- He'll eat so much, it's not even funny.

- Morgana will tell him to slow down numerous times, and Joker will completely ignore him every single time.

- You and Morgana will have to keep an eye on him because there's a large possibility that he might choke.

- He nearly did choke at one point, which was super scary.

- If Morgana tries to steal some, Joker will swat his paw away.

- He'll definitely have more than one plate of food. Good thing you made extra.

- When he first starts eating, he'll wolf everything down and all his manners will go out the window. As he continues, he'll slow down to a normal pace and eat like a normal person.

- He'll apologize afterward for being so messy and will help you clean up afterward.

- Leftovers for later? Hell yeah.

- Expect him to ask you for the recipes. He totally isn't gonna steal them to impress his friends back home.

- He'll give you a sweet kiss on the forehead as thanks for everything you've done for him.

- Post-dinner cuddles! That meal hit all the right spots, and the best thing to do now is to relax and let everything settle.

Sora

- He'll get SO excited.

- "Woah, this is all for me?! Thanks!"

- He'll eat way more than you expect him to. You'd never think that much food could fit inside his stomach. He'll just keep eating and eating and eating some more.

- You'll have to hide some food if you want leftovers, because at the rate Sora will go, it won't look like he's stopping anytime soon.

- He wants to show his appreciation as much as he can, so he tries to eat a ton. Sora won't wolf everything down, but he'll eat at a quicker pace than one should.

- Sora thinks everything is delicious; he literally has hearts in his eyes from how in love with the food he is.

- Looking up and seeing you chuckling and smiling at him makes everything even better. Just knowing that you made the food fills him with joy.

- He won't stop thanking you for everything. He'll say it ten times before he even starts eating.

- He keeps trying to talk to you while he eats. You constantly have to remind him to swallow his food before he starts speaking.

- When he's finished, he finishes it off with a big burp and leans back in his seat, hands patting his stomach. He'll thank you for the thousandth time before getting up to give you a hug.

- Ten minutes later, Sora'll get a massive stomachache from how much food he ate. He doesn't mind though; in his eyes, it was all worth it.

Zero Suit Samus

- She'll be shocked at first. All of this food is for her and her alone? No, this doesn't feel right.

- She'll feel bad that you went through all of this hassle just for her. But once you reassure her that it's no trouble at all and you're more than happy to cook for her, that tiny smile of hers will finally appear on her face.

- Samus insists that you eat with her. You've done all this hard work, you deserve to sit back and relax for a change.

- Out of all four characters mentioned here, she is the most calm about the whole thing. Don't mistake this for a lack of care; she greatly appreciates what you did for her.

- Out of all four characters, she's also the one who leaves the most leftovers. She wants to make it last; it sucks to spend hours on food only to have people eat all of it in one fell swoop in nearly half the time.

- She remains quiet for the most part, listening to what you have to say without interruption and only giving input when necessary.

- You can see the gratitude in her eyes as she consumes everything.

- Afterward, she thanks you calmly and helps you clean up.

- After a wonderful meal like that, movie night is a must.

Well, well, well, needless to say, Erron is delighted that not only is his girlfriend completely gorgeous, but uses four guns in battle? Very impressive.

But he would like to have a look at your guns now, he loves otherworldly weapons almost as much as he loves you.

Liu Kang

He knew you had some sort of connection to magik and spirits, but he had no idea you were a witch until he sees you use your magik in a fight.

He'll ask that you explain your powers and everything adds up until you mention that your clothes are made of your hair, then he freaks out because like, how does that work?

Kung Lao

When Lao finds out, he tries to make a joke "So, are all witches super hot babes in skin-tight outfits?" and he's thrown through a loop when you're like "Yes, actually"

Do not let him anywhere near the other Umbra witches, he will have no idea how to behave himself.

Hanzo Hasashi (Scorpion)

After he sees you summon demonic hands and fists to help you in your fight, he's not sure whether he should be concerned or comforted that you have a connection to the Inferno.

In reality, you being connected to a demoness of the Inferno is just like him being a revenge demon of Netherrealm, but he'll still be upset that the demon gets your soul when you die.

BayoJeanne plus Viola brainrot that needs to get out of my mind:

This personal headcannon is somewhat connected to a fanfic I'm writing, so everything in here are from my head or some Ive taken inspiration from somewhere.

1. Viola inherited Jeanne's platinum locks

2. Cereza kept Viola's baby book in a locked storage, Jeanne occasionally sneaks a peek.

3. Considering they're the only Umbrans left, both Cereza and Jeanne chose to end the Umbran way. (This will change later)

4. They have a family group chat:

* Cereza is the minion mom. She'll send a good morning text with a minion bob holding a heart.

* Jeanne sends recipes videos, all of them will help to try a recipe.

* Viola sends memes in the gc but both of her moms won't understand but will heart it anyways. ❤️

5. Enzo's twins are older figure siblings towards Viola, whilst she is the younger sibling figure to them.

6. Cereza and Jeanne will tell tales of old and new, legends and myths. Viola didn't know the tales were actual life experiences of both Cereza and Jeanne. But Viola admired the unnamed protagonists in every tale they tell her.

7. Jeanne once substituted in Viola's school. People thought Viola feared the sub despite being the unintentional school troublemaker and quite fearless on her own, it's actually Viola being embarrassed that her mother is in her school for a day. When people knew, Jeanne became infamous in Viola's school.

8. When Cereza and Jeanne attend a parent teacher meeting, they often overdress for the occasion and this mistaken as donors.

9. The whole family would definitely spend their weekends on expensive dinners lol.

10. Their house have alot of photos of them, especially Viola throughout the years. they wanted to capture moments since the theme of memory in the Bayonetta franchise is prevalent.

Plot Summery: General platonic yandere headcanons for the Egyptian variant of Bayonetta, known also as "The Cloistered Witch"

This Contains: ‼️SPOILERS‼️ yandere themes (no violence towards reader), character death, unhealthy mindset, not proofread.

Note(s): sorry for the absence! I might end up making more of these, since I LOVED the multiverse, but I'll also be interested in doing some DC stuff eventually! Assuming I can muster up the motivation to do them pfft-

Egyptian!Bayonetta is a very loving and kind yandere. She is especially affectionate and adoring compared to the other variants, but has a level of self-control they lack. For the most part.

Overprotective and more obsessive then most variants. Though a softer variant of Bayo, she's arguably one of the most manipulative ones there are. She's a guilt-tripper, using her lack of conviction and timidness to pull on the heartstrings, even shedding a few tears. Worse yet, most of the time she isn't even aware that she's doing this, as it all comes from a place of genuine insecurity.

Absolute spoiler as well. Whatever you want is yours, especially if you butter her up a bit. She's a literal princess, she can get anything and everything you want. That said, though rarely, she'll also remind you of these rewards whenever something should go south. Also uses her privileges as ruler to keep an eye on you.

If you possess the spiritual power needed for it, you might end up being trained in the Dark Arts like your mother, much to her dismay. She begs you not to partake in them, as umbran training is extremely demanding, but just a few promises of taking it carefully and puppydog eyes will change her mind. She will be training alongside you though, and Jeanne will be the one teaching you both (may also be a yandere for you)

Do be warned: any scratch you sustain will be instantly met with extreme amounts of maternal love and attention, a lot of kisses and smothering, and a few pleas for you to no longer aspire to be a witch.

I like to think the Malphas' have an affection to you as well. They'll drop you many shiny things they've found across the desert, ranging from coins to golden towers and more. Also think they'd want you to fly on them.

When Singularity attacks and Jeanne is taken, Bayonetta demands that you stay behind, the first time she's ever directly commanded to do something. It's an action born out of fear and desperation, because god knows what she'd do if you were to die. You could reason with her though, that this interloper is a threat no matter where you are. Reluctantly, she'll agree to take you with her as she adventures to rescue Jeanne.

Lord forbid you're the Arch-Eve/Adam of this world. She'd be hysterical, especially if you were to challenge Singularity head on. She'd absolutely demand, beg you not to do it, at least not alone. Will fight you if she must to ensure you won't be killed.

Bayo is devastated having to kill Jeanne but has some comfort and relief knowing that you're safe. When Brave!Cereza is knocked unconscious and is sucked into the black hole, she gives you one last embrace before chasing after her origin. In this scenario, you'll be left in the care of Brave!Cereza, who'll vow to take care of you to honor her variant (likely becomes a yandere for you too).

If you're the Arch-Eve/Adam, she'd never forgive herself for failing you, letting you get harmed, let alone having to kill you, even if you begged her to. Knowing that your blood is on her hands will drive her insane, and breaks her heart completely. It's only due to Brave!Cereza that she doesn't completely give in to despair at first, but it isn't permanent. Thus, when Cereza is knocked unconscious, she gladly sacrifices herself for her variant.

As she's sucked into the black hole begotten by the powered Spider Demon, her thoughts are with you and Jeanne. She feels no fear, she feels no uncertainty. She's content in her last moments, lips swayed in a saddened but genuine smile. Her eyes look towards the sky one more time as she speaks her final words.

"Jeanne...Y/N... did you see? I won."

Madama Butterfly:

You're protected by a well known demon from the Inferno world. She always has her eyes on you, making sure you don't end up getting hurt or worse.

She wants to one day fuse with you, just to see how it feels to be within your body. It's the idea of being closer to you that makes her grin with delight.

If Bayonetta ever summons her out and you're there be prepared for this giant demon to blow you a kiss or show off her very explicit dance moves. Bayonetta is aware and finds it rather cute that Madama Butterfly happens to like such a small Umbra like you.

Alraune:

She never thought she could love something like you. You were an Umbra witch so youd honestly make a good meal. So when it was starting to get obvious that you've ignited her heart with fire- she'd punish those with her thorns.

She one day wants to grab you with her thorns and feed you a drop of her ecstacy straight from the thorns from her body. She always wonders what sort of faces you'd make if she held you a little tighter.

Absolutely, hates the idea of Madama Butterfly being near you. She has been her enemy within Inferno for centuries. A foolish hatred others would call but she believed she was powerful enough to hate this demon.

Baal Zebul:

She is a celebrity to all Inferno so she was rather appalled she found someone like you. An Umbra with no identity but she thinks you're the cutest thing in existence. She doesn't feel nervous when she sings in front of you but she always asks what you think of her performance.

One day, she would like you to attend one of her concerts and listen to her voice. She also hopes that you'll sing with her as a duo and share that spotlight no matter where you two are in Inferno.

Really doesn't like seeing you upset and if you ever do get upset she will turn into her frog form and cuddle you're chest. If not, she will simply knelt down and hug you until you're no longer sad.

Sonic has the exact same way of describing his Adventures like Kirby and his Friends. however they say it nonchalantly because it’s been like that since the 3rd game. Sonic says it like that cause that’s how his brain works. For a while only Mario and his team knew the full context Via the Olympics.

then sonic said something along the lines of “Damn reminds me of when Eggman Split the earth up and I fought the earths guardian” during the aftermath of the Tabuu incident.

This was also requested for more context (although a bit before Ultimate)  and was also met with horrified reactions to Dark Gaia the Time Stones incident and most recently the Starfall Islands. A pact was made to get Sonic and Kirby and Kirby’s Friends into Therapy between Luigi, Ness, and oddly enough Bayonetta for some reason.

Taken advantage of this thrend of canon vs Fanon there's one thing I hate about fanon/headcanon about female characters.

It was also originally put yamato because to this day it believes that it is "trans canon" and lesbian character redesign (she-ra's reboot would be an example), don't take it personally I like some fanon but sometimes fanon is headcanon doesn't always please me very much.

Yes I love this request ! thanks for your patience I'm sorry its so late had a bit going on.

You decide to surprise your bf by inviting him to a costume party alongside you. The party is for a friend of yours. Their birthday party they’re hosting is costume themed but your bf doesn’t know your plans.

Your best friend so happens to be a huge fan of Bayonetta. In fact the game is their number favorite game of all time. You planned a big surprise for them.

You got your hands on a Bayonetta costume based on her outfit in the first game.

You’ve practiced for several weeks to emulate Bayonetta’s dance moves so you can surprise your friend with the dance moves. You know your friend knows it by heart and will most likely dance as well while you perform.

At the party your bf may or may not recognize your costume. Either way you impressed him.

You’re looking forward to his reaction to the surprise you have planned.

Atem/Yami

He would be one of the guys familiar with your outfit. Atem enjoys playing video games with Joey and Yugi. He’d know who Bayonetta is but I don’t think he’d play it due to the fact he enjoys puzzle games and such.

Ever the gentleman he’d compliment your costume and would give you a gentle kiss on your gloved hand.

Atem would go dressed as a vampire or perhaps a prince. Whatever he think would impress you more.

At the party he keeps to himself drinking a canned soda. He waves as you’re setting up the surprise you have in store for your friend.

To his surprise you play music and begin dancing for all to see. The spotlight is on you and your bestie is sitting nearby in excitement.

They cheer you on with the rest of the party. Your friend begins dancing the exact same dance moves as Bayonetta does.

Your moves are so sensual yet confident much like Bayonetta. You move effortlessly across the dance floor.

Atem is speechless and bashful watching you dance. He thinks your dance moves are lovely as is your outfit.

He’s cheering you on but absolutely embarrassing

Afterwards he’s embarrassed talking to you. You have such a big affect on him. It’s absolutely adorable.

If you flirt it up with him or making a comment or two about how sexy he is as a prince and/or vampires he’s putty in your hands.

Joey Wheeler

Joey is instantly a fan boy. Of course he'd recognize your outfit! He's definitely played Bayonetta before. He beat all three games. He'll throw you several compliments. He's instantly all over you.

Joey would be dressed as a werewolf or Frankenstein's monster. Whichever he thought he'd have more fun with.

At the party he's at the table grabbing snacks and chugging down punch.

He's giving you a thumbs up while shoving chips in his mouth. Your getting the music and spotlight ready.

When you begin performing he is extremely impressed. He's as starry eyed as your bestie. His fan boy moment is iconic. If he dressed like a werewolf he howls. If not he's cheering you on.

Your friend is impressed and dancing alongside you. Joey is thinking about how sexy and breathtaking you look. He's feeling like the luckiest guy in the entire place. He's going to take pictures with you and of you after.

He's hoping you'll want sexy time afterwards when you're both at home. If you flirt with him he's totally for it. He'll be all over you.

Duke Devlin

Duke owns a game shop and enjoys games as well. He knows about Bayonetta and the videogames. He's heard of them but he doesn't strike me as the type to play all of them. He probably played the second game since its the most popular and he saw many of the infamous trailers.

He's going to compliment the costume itself praising how accurate it is but he will also appreciate how it accentuates the curves. He's going to caress you and give you one of his pick up lines.

Duke would dress like a mummy or butler. Whichever he thinks would impress you more. Either way he's showing a lot of skin for his sexy dressed girlfriend.

At the party he's doing all kinds of tricks to impress people around him while your off getting ready for your performance.

Once the lights and music are ready you're dancing for all to see. Your friend shouting with glee and copying your dance moves. Duke is stopping his parlor tricks to gawk at you. He's grinning ear to ear cheering you on. Ever the supportive partner he goes over to the small crowd and cheering. He's now your number one fan boy.

Afterwards he'd be so joyful while complimenting your dance moves. He's hoping to see you dance as you did before. He would throw endless compliments.

He might want to make out with you later.

Seto Kaiba

Kaiba isn't so keen on going to a party but he wants to spend time with you and meet your best friend. His first reaction to your costume one you wouldn't expect. He's impressed especially if you made it. Of course the infamous Seto Kaiba knows who Bayonetta is.

Kaiba adores video games so he's played a couple of the Bayonetta games himself. He'll praise the costume and give you a compliment or two about how well you look in Bayonetta's outfit.

Kaiba doesn't wear costumes so the most he'll do is wear a suit with a masquerade mask. Thankfully the outfit turns out well for him. If you kiss him or compliment him he'd blush.

At the party he will be at a table sitting by himself while on his phone. While you're getting ready he will throw you a small smile as encouragement.

With your friend seated for their surprise they're the first one cheering upon hearing the music. Your dancing captures everyone's eyes. They cheer as your friend copies your dance moves.

Kaiba is shocked but he's not sure what to think. He sighs but is smiling in amusement. He will be a bit flustered about the whole ordeal since he never knew you could dance so sensually. He's going to be flustered about it for the past couple weeks.

Afterwards he won't know what to say. He's going to be grumpy and awkward about it. He will express how talented you are but it's all you're getting from him.

Unless you decide to flirt with him that is. He'll get so embarrassed and try changing the subject unless you get handsy with him. He'll be shocked but in the best way possible.

Fighter #13 - Peach

For clarification, whenever "the kingdoms" are mentioned, I'm referring to the kingdoms from Super Mario Odyssey.

- She frequently has to clean spores off of her dress from how often Toad is around her.

- Toad releases spores whenever he gets startled, so Wolf and Dark Pit make it their mission to scare him every day just to annoy Peach.

- Gardening helps Peach relieve stress. Whenever she’s feeling overwhelmed, going outside and tending to the plants always makes her feel better. She even has her own vegetable garden in the courtyard. Out of all the veggies she tends to, turnips are her favorite.

- Peach has been on the cover of numerous fashion magazines throughout all of the kingdoms. One of these days, Bayonetta hopes to accompany her on her modeling endeavors.

- Her parasol is reinforced with sturdy toadstool caps to prevent it from blowing backwards or flying out of her hands. Poor Peach went through a lot of trial, error, and lost parasols before finally coming up with this solution.

- Peach is a very skilled dancer. Her amazing balance, flexibility, and endurance shines through whenever she's tearing up the dance floor. She leaps with grace, waltzes with elegance, and breakdances with style. No matter who her audience is, Peach never fails to impress with her spectacular moves.

- Peach's playlist is an amalgamation of upbeat girly pop, spunky punk rap, and hardcore thrash metal.

- Some fighters get extremely annoyed with Peach during matches. Sometimes, her taunts are incredibly infuriating.

- Anyone and everyone is welcome to join her for an afternoon cup of tea. Depending on who it is, she'll also bake them their favorite sweet treat. If Peach doesn't know this information, or they simply don't have a favorite, she'll default to her signature strawberry shortcake.

- Bayonetta always teases Peach about her relationship with Mario. While she constantly insists that she and Mario are just friends, the Umbra Witch refuses to believe it. It doesn’t help that literally all of the DLC fighters thought Peach and Mario were a couple upon arrival.

- Whenever the Mario fighters play tennis or golf, Toad makes it his mission to beat Bowser. He doesn’t care where he is on the leaderboard, as long as he’s above his sworn enemy. It’s his way of getting revenge for his beloved princess, but all his attempts fail miserably, and he only makes himself look like a fool. Even Bowser himself is starting to feel sorry for the guy.

- When it’s that time of the month for Peach, she becomes irritable and bitter, which is a stark contrast to her usual sweet and forgiving personality. Unless she asks for a favor or strikes up a conversation first, all of the fighters know to give her some space until the week passes.

- Peach is always on her guard. Considering how many times she’s been kidnapped, she’s unknowingly become more paranoid over the years (and rightfully so). Like Samus, if something startles or surprises her, her first instinct is to fight, and her hands will curl up into fists. Unlike Samus, however, she’ll take a quick second to evaluate whether or not something is actually a threat before she does anything.

- Peach has incredible strength when it comes to punting things. Whether it be a soccer ball or a Bob-omb that she pulled from the ground by mistake, she’ll kick it far and high enough to make you think that Team Rocket’s blasting off again.

- Peach is like a mother figure to the younger fighters, including the Koopalings. She's sweet and gentle with them, but if they misbehave, they're going to get scolded. And if anyone tries to mess with them, she'll protect them like a lioness would protect her cubs.

- Everyone in the Mushroom Kingdom is a big fan of the Squid Sisters, so Peach will buy tickets from the Inklings and take the Toads to see them in concert. The Toads love Callie, but Marie is Peach’s favorite.

- Peach received her car, Birthday Girl, from the Toads for her sixteenth birthday. It was her first vehicle, and she still has it to this day.

- Peach has been best friends with Daisy since childhood. When they were younger, they used to do everything together. As they grew up, they still kept in touch, but didn’t get to see each other as often due to how busy they were with royal duties. Despite this, they still have a close-knit relationship.

- Every weekend, Peach, Daisy, and Rosalina go out for a girls’ night. They don’t care what they do, just as long as they get to spend time with each other and away from the mansion. Sometimes, Pauline will join them.

- Every so often, Pauline will invite the princesses to galas in New Donk City, which they always accept and attend in style.

- When she first met Pauline, Peach thought she was related to Mario. Something about the red attire, dark hair, and blue eyes made her think they were cousins or something.

- Peach taught Rosalina everything she knows about Earth customs and social interactions. Considering she lived most of her life in space, she was largely unfamiliar with anything or anyone beyond stars, galaxies, and Lumas. In fact, Peach is the only reason Rosalina knows how to play golf.

- She frequently accompanies Isabelle on strolls outside to collect flowers and admire butterflies. Considering how much she loves nature, Peach will often bring her souvenirs from her trips to other kingdoms (mushrooms from the Mushroom Kingdom, plants from the Wooded Kingdom, seashells from the Seaside Kingdom, etc).

- Back home in the Mushroom Kingdom, Peach loves going outside and feeding the doves in the morning. On Smash Mansion grounds, however, there are no doves to be found. So, to keep up with her morning routine, she’ll go outside and just sit out there until a bird of any kind finally flies by. Unfortunately for her, the birds in the Light Realm don’t really care for the birdseed she brings along, so her generosity is often ignored.

- In addition to vegetables, Peach also grows Fire Flowers for battle use.

- Peach’s favorite tea is white tea with plenty of honey, garnished with a white orchid. She finds it pairs well with a lot of the desserts she enjoys making, and the orchid just adds an elegant finishing touch to the beverage.

- If fighters are feeling sick, she’ll make them little care packages with all of their favorite things inside.

- Unlike Toad (or even Mario, at times), Peach forgives Bowser for most of his misdeeds and has actually begun to develop a better relationship with him. The Koopa King really hopes this is a sign of progress.

- Fighters are divided over who they want Peach to end up with. Some, like King Dedede and Meta Knight, think she’s better off with Bowser, while others, like Pyra and Mythra, think that she and Mario would make a better couple.

- Meanwhile, Samus and Jigglypuff stay out of the fray, firm in their belief that the princess should just be left alone.

- During matches, Peach will always cheer on fighters by making small rainbows for them above her head. She's always believed that rainbows were a sign of good luck and triumph through difficult times, so displaying those vibrant, magical colors is her way of showing support.

- She refuses to let Toad eat beans of any kind. If he ingests them, he won't be able to stop farting for hours. His farts are silent but deadly, causing whoever's nearby to face a smelly fate. Once, he even made Sheik faint from how bad the smell was.

- She has the subconscious habit of constantly fixing her bangs. Even if every hair is perfectly in place, she'll still reach up and adjust them out of habit.

- During the warmer months, Peach frequently has problems with Duck Hunt digging up her vegetables. Villager has tried to keep this under control, but he's not very good at it.

- Peach is the head of the party planning committee and oversees all operations pertaining to celebrations. She is a watchful leader and always keeps everyone on task whilst doing her share of the work.

- Her favorite song from the Smash soundtrack is Ground Theme - Super Mario Bros (Melee). It brings her a lot of nostalgia from back in the Melee days, when she first joined Smash.

personally i like to deal with tiers of canon, it’s easy for me because i’ve been doing this for years

adventure time is canon to the AT comics, but only up to the end of season 3, and after that it’s a roulette. the AT comics have their own continuity. North’s comics or the show are canon to whichever OTHER miniseries from time to time, but that’s never a given.  

homestuck is canon to the homestuck epilogues, but the homestuck epilogues are not canon to homestuck, and the epilogues are canon to HS^2, but HS^2 is not canon to the epilogues.

HS^2 and the epilogues are canon to Pesterquest, but Pesterquest are not canon to them. Friendsim is canon to Pesterquest, and CAN BE canonical to Hiveswap and Homestuck, there are seriously no major contradictions caused by Friendsim. However, Pesterquest is not necessarily canonical to Friendsim.

and finally, bayonetta is canon to bayonetta 2, and there’s no reason why bayonetta 2 can’t be canon to bayonetta, and there’s no reason why bayonetta 3 can’t be canon to bayonetta 1 unless you really hate it, but bayonetta 3 is absolutely NOT canonical to bayonetta 2, or vice versa. they actively contradict each other. 

basically the earlier a thing is, the more canon it usually is, unless it’s a prequel, in which case it’s up to you

Rodin from Bayonetta has Ken doll anatomy and you can’t change my mind. He’s a fallen ANGEL. I can’t see Jubileus giving her holy killing machine a dick. Also he found Bayonetta fresh from her lake coffin, with, amnesia, and he basically ADOPTED her.

Also I just REALLY REALLY LOVE the idea of him discovering individuality and humanity not through the usual spiel of romance and sex, but through music, art, friendship, pop culture. MAKING things instead of destroying them.
