"I-I..." you gesture with your head to the chamber and she nods, opening it herself but never questioning your motives. She closes it behind you, waiting for you to still hide your little secret from her before turning back.

She calls out her name with honeyed tea sweetness, "Is something wrong?"

So you hold out the bouquet to her, unable to further hide it within you and rip off that damned bandage and let it run your skin raw. Her eyes widened, glancing between you and the gift of adoration. "I...got this for you."

Freshly picked from the hills of the country, roses and tulips and irises speaking out their messages of confessional loves. Your palms are soaking into the paper that held the flora together, crinkling it and digging into your palm with taunts and jeers that could simply cause you to crack-

Himeno's squeal breaks you from that abyss by the sea, your eyes back as she almost tackles you into yet another large hug, peppering kisses to your form and trailing lipstick marks up and down your skin. "H-Himeno?!"

"Darling, you did not have to!" she absolutely beams and preens at your gesture, not yet taking the flora from you but simply holding her hand with yours. She wanted to lace them but could not, she is simply content to be there with you.

You flush, letting out a small smile as she squeals again, "You don't think it's weird for me?" you question in oddity, letting go of the grip and watching her practically skip off to procure a vase. You pause to glance down, eyes wide as you pull out a kerchief to dust and wipe away the dirt at your knees, as you had spent your day in the forests beyond, searching for only the best of wild flowers to mix with the ones grown from the royal gardens you tended. The forest is your home after all, you knew it like the back of your hand with your romps and splaunking.

You immediately glance towards the dress of your queen, worried that you have somehow besmirched her silken satin and to your horror, you see bits and clinging dirt splotching the hem of her skirt. "Himeno, I'm so sorry! I got your dress dirty-"

Himeno shushes you gingerly, a gloved lace of a finger pressed against your lips, tracing the bottom before tucking them under your chin and a slight tug you feel as she pulls you into orbit. "Darling, I do not care. I can always get another one. But you?" she presses her lips to yours, a sigh escaping her lips as you tilt your head to meet hers.

You're breathless by the time you part, a giggle leaving Himeno's lips, "You are simply irreplaceable, my love." she pecks your lips again, before poking at your somewhat soil soiled clothing. "Come on, enough playing in the mud out there, Take a bath and join me in bed. I am going to spoil you tonight as thanks."

You pause, confused as she pushes you towards the bathing chamber, "B-But...are you sure?"

"Why would you question me, dearest?" Himeno scoffs. "If you are still worried about those flowers," the door is closed behind you as she gathers some lotions, oils, soaps, and petals to scatter into the awaiting hot spring. "I do not care where they are from, my gardens or not, but they come from you." her bare hand grazes your nose with a light poke. "That makes them simply the best flowers in all of the world. Next to the one standing next to me of course." she bats her eyelashes as you flush and giggles, "And me as well."

You snort, a laugh finally leaving your lips that joins her in song. "I'm glad you liked them." you state as she points towards the large tub that had begun filling with water. "Alright, alright," you state with yet another laugh. "I'll bathe."

"Good!" Himeno smirks. "I shall join you as well-"

"Whoa whoa whoa, are you serious?!"

"Why not? We are beloveds after all and-"

You whine as you cover your blushing red face, hearing her tinkling laughter. "I am only kidding, my love. I shall be outside." and she blows you a kiss as she skips past the door, letting you soak into the warm waters and wonder what in the world you got yourself into.

anyway i get around the problem of cute girls dating boring shitty guys by watching a lot of yuri! the only other thing i watch is isekai, with few exceptions, so the only GOOD anime i watch is very gay. its a good deal i think! cute girls AND they kiss , or maybe just hug , but they definitely blush a lot and are in love with each other.

hi luv. honestly as hard as it is to accept, it's completely normal for people to grow apart as they age. you're not obligated to keep putting energy towards something you don't feel in your heart anymore. i think when we're younger relationships with others are so much simpler and they can thrive on shallower interests alone, but that's not enough to sustain the bond once you both begin to rapidly change as people. priorities differ, as do life experiences, and all of that shapes who we're going to become. some of us realize fetishizing gay men is gross and some of us don't 😳 point is maybe you guys were only compatible back then because of who you were at that stage of your development, you know? some things live purely in the past for a reason. it's very painful and can often feel like a type of grief to fully process it, but it's also a natural cycle imo. even when you think you're ride or die with someone, the instinctive evolution of your mentality may prove you wrong. and that's alright, a sign of growth. if you find yourself no longer enjoying her company, then that alone is closure. after all friends are supposed to make your life better, just as you do for them. im not saying it's as simple as cutting her off all together and moving on, cause obviously it's never that black and white. but if you want to, there's no shame in distancing yourself from the relationship. hanging out less, not responding to texts, putting less time into the friendship etc. if you guys were already growing apart, i suppose it's a matter of indulging that. and just prioritising what you need over how long you've known her. cause ultimately you can't force yourself to think the way she thinks, and you shouldn't have to.
